Outstanding! We were so pleased with everything about our experience with this company! Everything from their customer service, install, to great competitive pricing. Steve and the install team were amazing, friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Tina helped us through our customer service and questions. We had a very demanding fireplace project, and it ended up turning out 100% perfect. Whenever I need to work with stone, I will never go with anyone but Tops In Counterparts! Do yourself a favor, and spare the trouble looking elsewhere!

I’m extremely upset and displeased with my experience here. First, according to Tops in Countertops Inc. we had to install our own bracket directly into the stud (which required us drilling a hole into our wall and spending more money on top of the cost of the project already for the bracket and to patch the wall) and send pictures for approval before the would agree to install the granite. Second, everyone who works there keeps mentioning “we don’t do plumbing” so they couldn’t reconnect our plumbing under the sink that they disconnected on the day of our install. And as we go to reconnect everything we find out that the faucet we purchased from them is not adaptable to the our preexisting water lines under the sink. So now, we have to pay for a plumber…and we’re still without water in our bathroom. Just know if you hire this company, you’re going to need to do a lot of your own work and research and basically become a contractor and a plumber….what did I pay you guys for?

We had Tops In Countertops do the countertops in our new build...the kitchen with an oversized island, 4 bathrooms, mudroom and full sized bar. They were so helpful in the decision making process and did a beautiful job in a reasonable amount of time, in spite of the pandemic, which seemed to slow down other aspects of the build. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat. A special thanks to Gary for all your help and patience!

We have had our counter tops for a few years already. We ordered it through lowes. They were not the cheapest but reasonably priced. The guys had to come out at least 3xs because everytime they came out we seen flaws. That should have been a sign that these were not good counters. We finally got inpatient because we were without kitchen tops for so long that we finally approved our quartz tops with 1 scratch. Well not so long after did we see a chip, then a crack. The paperwork we signed does not warrant against these items. They actually have a long list of what they won't cover (go figure) so we left it alone. Well, now and behold we have another chip. We are not hard on our countertops so not sure why this keeps happening. We love the look but not happy about the material at all. We were told quartz was durable and one of the best. Lol, nope not ours.

Horrible experience with a horrible company. Their installer, Gary, is incompetent and does not know how to use a level. After his second visit (counters were level both visits, he was just too unsure of himself), his behavior was extremely disrespectful. Upon receiving our quote, we were charged with FOUR re-measure fees, and they refused to remove these fees. While speaking with Diana and Nicole in their office, both seemed unsure how to properly install countertops and both were very rude over the phone. Based on other reviews, many of their other customers have experienced the same thing, and this poor excuse for a countertop company tries to get away with half hearted excuses instead of owning up to their mistakes. Highly recommend you DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. As someone with a decade in construction, there are many other better companies in the area.

WORST experience I have ever had with a contractor. We had four re-measure fees on our bill for $120 each that were never disclosed to us. They sent a technician out after we told them we did not have our counters in yet and charged us for the visit because they did not read their email. The next three visits, the technician claimed our cabinets were not level enough to measure (my husband is a construction superintendent and verified they were level within 1/16”). The technician was incompetent and could not complete a measurement. Nicole and Diana were extremely rude on the phone and could not provide us with an itemized receipt of the extra charges. They then cancelled our job after 8 weeks of being without countertops and refused to set us up with an alternate installer. They will not get back to us and will not refund us the money we have spent.

We are not happy. Pros: 1. Their price was reasonable comparing to the other companies we got quote from. 2. They were on time and did not miss the deadline. 3. They will come back to resolve residual issues quickly Cons: 1. There were a few scratches and dints on the counter tops when they installed it and we noticed them after they left. 2. They didn’t do the measurements right. We tried to put things in their original place, but the stove did not fit in its place. 3. They came back to repair the scratches and dents and cut the countertop exes so the stove would fit in its original place, but they removed the whole countertop and took it outside and they broke the stone in half below the sink, and they glued the crack (which is visible). 4. Also, they were not respectful of the property and their muddy shoes prints were all over the carpet which we had to spend money to have someone to come and clean them. Ps. After 2 years our countertops still look ugly with those cracks.

Tops In Countertops installed our quartz countertops through Lowes. The office staff was professional and prompt with all correspondence. The crew was extremely friendly, answered questions, and the final product looked flawless. I had an unrelated issue with the countertops due to Home Depot's appliance install crew, and Tops sent out the same crew (we requested them) to fix the problem. Perfect experience from beginning to end.

First off, we really like the product we chose. The people at Crossville were very helpful and friendly when we were choosing our slabs and backsplash, etc. As for Tops in Countertops, after many emails to get the correct estimate, we finalized and paid in full upon request. The installers were very nice. Three of the pieces out of six broke upon installation. We are still very worried about using the countertops! The installers did a nice job of glueing them back together. They worked very hard and cleaned up after themselves. Due to the broken slabs their 4-5 hr job turned into a 9 hour job. We'd requested a specific type, although not custom, edge to our countertops. They were not formed with that request in mind. We were told we could see the drawing and placement on the slabs prior to installation and that did not happen. It's too bad, because they put a vein on a corner, which is where it broke. and they put the most colorful part in a place that is generally covered on our countertops by an appliance. So, the highlighted areas aren't in very great positions. I'm surprised that after spending thousands of dollars on countertops and such the salesperson or company hasn't called to see how we like our countertops. For those reasons we will not recommend them to our friends, nor will we use them when we do the rest of our remodeling.

We recently had granite countertops installed in our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! The countertops have completely transformed our kitchen, giving it a sleek, modern look while maintaining a timeless elegance. The quality of the granite is outstanding, and the craftsmanship is impeccable. Every detail was handled with care, from the precision of the cuts to the smooth finish. A special thank you to Nicole G for her exceptional service throughout the entire process. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and made the experience seamless. Nicole went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and her attention to detail really stood out. We are thrilled with the outcome and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for high-quality granite countertops. Thank you again, Nicole, for making our kitchen renovation such a success!

Helpful and did a beautiful job with the install. We will be back for future jobs!!! We were introduced to this company as they install for Lowes in Aurora. Lowes was just ok (quote way off) - suggest buying direct from here as customer service is fantastic.

Just used Tops In Countertops for the third time. My Cambria Ella Matte is beautiful!!!! The process was explained and quicker thank I thought it would be. The did explain I had to have plumbing disconnected which I was able to DIY (thank you youtube!) I knew switching from a double bowl to a single bowl that was also deeper would require more plumbing but well worth it. James and Miguel removed the existing laminate tops and had the new quartz with seam installed in 3.5 hours! The seam looks so good. I wanted to wait to review until I had photos with the tile backsplash but I am so impressed I am reviewing asap! I picked out my own sink and faucet and just made sure they knew what I wanted and again I am beyond happy. They also did a great job cleaning up!

I have worked with Tops on four different projects at our home over the last six years. Each project was as good as the last and I highly recommend them. From the selection process with Diana and Tina to the measuring and slab selection with Gary and the superb installation by Kevin and Warren...all were a pleasure to work with. It's not easy in today's renovation process to find good people who follow through with what they say they will do, but Tops has shown professionalism and expertise in all the areas that matter. They are "tops" in countertops for sure.

Timeline you can expect for this business: 1) The process begins! They won't schedule someone to come out to measure until your cabinets are completely installed. 2) The person who comes out to measure is an independent contractor and it may take a week or two for them to get here. If you get lucky like me, less than a week. 3) After they've received their measurements from their independent contractor, then Tops in Countertops will take official payment from your third party, i.e. Lowes or Cabinets to Go. This process generally takes an additional day or two for some reason? It took three full days between the guy coming out for measurements and them to get my additional $. 4) Once they've received their money they will place an order on their truck list. (The caveat being this only happens once a week on Wednesdays!?!) I still haven't been able to get a concrete answer on why they can only place orders on a truck rather than a Computer and what makes Wednesday more special than The other 4 business days of the week? Maybe they use stone tablets and abacus' on Holy Wednesday rather than 21st century means of electronic communication. 5) After an undetermined amount of time they will get the material they ordered back from the vendor. Pro tip, ask for an update after a few weeks because they darn well won't do you the courtesy of giving you one unless you ask. 6) 'Slabsmithing/Eyeballing' begins *Add one week 7) Additional cuts/other work. 8) Someone will reach out to schedule an install date. -This whole process took exactly six weeks for me. Six weeks without a kitchen waiting on countertops before I could do anything else with my remodel. I was quoted 2-3. At this point I'm pleasantly surprised it wasn't 8+. *I gave three stars because I am very happy with the contractors who showed up to measure and install, as well as the quality of the material. *I gave three stars because I think a telemarketing firm based out of India with a language barrier could have provided better courtesy and customer service. Even pretending to give a crap about being inconvenienced for 6 weeks instead of the projected 2-3 would have been nice.

Generally the folks here are super helpful. The granite they offer is really nice too. My only issue was that the contractor they hired to do the final measurements somehow convinced my husband not to do an overhang/island saying the granite is too heavy (I was not there during this conversation) without telling him that braces could/should be installed to fix this weight issue. Now I have a granite "island" that is not an island and does look the way I wanted it and does not meet my needs. Shame that we allowed this guy who is not a designer tell us what we could and could not do and it was our own fault for not pushing back. SO, if you use these folks and Joey comes to do your measurements, tell him to bugger off if he tries to change your design!!! I did try to get these folks to at least give me a quote to replace that section, and maybe take back (for a fee even) the other granite. They appeared initially willing to do so, but then pushed us to the cabinet store and refused to even respond to my enquiries. So, overall experience was a meh.

Buyer strongly encouraged to get EVERYTHING in writing because if there's an error it WILL BE YOUR FAULT! Preface: We found a remnant piece with a particular color and vein pattern that we really liked so had them put it on hold as we continued to look at other places. Our discussion with the design person had been to always cut the remnant to retain as much of the color and pattern as possible - she agreed. So, about 30 days later, we wrote up a contract and paid in full $1300. As this is the last part of our remodel, it sat at their warehouse for about another 30 days after paid before a template could be drawn since the new vanity wasn't installed yet. Long story short - they cut from the wrong side thus eliminating the color and vein we wanted. It wasn't noticed by my wife until after the install. Because it wasn't in writing on our job order, the error is entirely on the customer even though the design tech remembered our desire but forgot to note on the job form also. Seems it was an even "miss" on both sides but not according to owner Mark. I met with him in person to discuss and he was immediately on the defensive emphatically stating they had nothing in writing to that effect even though all parties involved remember the conversation. He even had the gall to state he really didn't think we were even attached to the color or vein pattern! WTH? Just wanted a free countertop! No kidding - surprised the hell out of me too. He stated that I said "I was only going to settle on getting a full replacement" but when asked when I said that he backtracked and moved on to another topic - my fault also for not telling the PM it needed to be cut from a particular side. It was made abundantly clear that nothing was in writing so the burden lies 100% on the customer so I wasted my time even trying to discuss customer satisfaction. While they say "..pride ourselves with striving to give you the countertop you envision", is a touch misleading to say the least. There are many other granite places in town and would definitely recommend any over these guys.

Just an addendum to my previous review along with more pictures. Although when they measured for the installation the faucet was on site and they measured with that in mind, they cut the hole too small and crookedly so even if the top of the hole was large enough - which it isn't- it is slanted so a faucet couldn't go down it anyway! Unbelievable! The hole won't fit a standard sized faucet!

Working with this company has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my entire life. They have jerked me around from day one with outright lies and exaggerations, starting with the guy they sent out to take measurements for my countertop, who completely reeked of weed, quoted me 4-6 weeks for installation. Eight weeks later, I still have no sink or countertop in my kitchen (had to wash dishes in the bathtub over Christmas), and they are saying another 2 weeks before installation. Whenever I call them, the phone just rings and rings (apparently they don't use voicemail?) and they just flat out won't respond to email. What an unprofessional bunch of clowns. I sincerely hope that you don't get mixed up with them, they will lie to you, ignore you, and ultimately screw you.

They are very helpful until you have a claim, then good luck getting them to stand behind their work. They will pay you a visit to see what "you did" Simply put, the installation was done by one of their rookie contractors and now it looks like I will be stuck with it. If it were possible to give them ZERO stars, I would have! It was a disaster from the beginning! We were expected to take 3 days off of work to get the countertop installed--once for measuring, once for picking the slab, and once for install. The install took place, but they managed to scrape my cabinets. We called regarding the cabinets and they sent someone out to photograph the scrapes. About a week later a young man came out and fixed the damage--at cost to Tops in Counter Tops. We then had Carpet Exchange install our backsplash only to find that the granite slab was cut too small. Tops in Counter Tops made me take another day off of work to have someone come look at the gap. We were told the slab needed to be pushed back. They finally agreed to send someone out after 5pm so that I wouldn't have to miss any more work. The guys came and quickly realized that the slab was just too small and couldn't be moved back. We were then told that they wanted to give us a granite backsplash to cover the error. We already had a backsplash installed and they would not be held responsible for removing the brand new tile and resetting the backsplash from Carpet Exchange. We insisted that a new template be made and a new countertop fabricated for us. Tops and Counter Tops finally agreed, but on the install date the new slab had a large fissure in it and they cancelled the install. The next install date was set and when the slab got here, the main piece was too large to fit into the kitchen. The installers now gouged the absolute crap out of my cabinets AGAIN, because there wasn't enough clearance. We called yet again to have our cabinets fixed. We were told because it was a second claim that a Lowes manager and a Tops in Counter Tops representative must be present to view the damage. The Tops in Counter Tops representative (Sam) wasted my time and insulted me in my own home by taking pictures of the damage and then handing me a contract agreement that I signed with a section they deemed to be "acceptable damage". I asked Sam why they fixed the first cabinet damage. He stated that they 'felt bad'. I responded with, "so you don't feel bad about this?". He tried to cover his tracks with diplomacy, telling me that they will not be fixing the damage kindly. I told him and Suzanne from Lowes to hit the door. Some advice for those at Tops in Counter Tops: don't waste my time and insult me in my home with your negligence. To the buyer reading this review: beware! These fools can come into your home and damage what they wish as long as they find it "acceptable".
