Very happy with the countertop service from Top South. While the selection I picked at home Depot was not available there, they invited me into their shop to pick out the slab I wanted for my kitchen. The gentlemen who measured and installed were very professional and did an excellent job.

This was my second time working with Top South (and Melissa specifically), the first time being our HOA clubhouse kitchen but this time for our much larger personal home kitchen. As before, the whole process was very professional and smooth, from material selection, sizing and costing, the measurement process, and the final installation. Melissa was great in providing guidance on various options and considerations for the different materials and walking us through the on-site slab yard, and we ultimately went with quartzite. Otoniel and Leo did a great job on the installation, again very efficient and they cleaned up well after the install. There was a slight snafu on an appliance swap-out during the install, but Bobby over at Top South worked with us to get that issue all sorted out. Also, a tiny crack in a natural seam in the stone that developed a couple of weeks after install was taken care of by their service team, so it's nice to know they stand by their work and materials and take care of their customers after the job is done.

Jose and his partner just finished installing the countertops in the kitchen and both bathrooms. They look fantastic. They jumped right in and didn’t stop until they were finished. They cleaned up at the end and were very respectful to the house and myself. I am very happy with the end results.

I can’t say enough great things about Top South! From the selection process to the final product, everything went smoothly and everyone was SO professional! The installers were prompt, efficient, and so nice. I absolutely LOVE how my vanity and custom tub surround look. My dream bathroom is almost complete!

Top South is the company Home Depot contracts with for installation of my kitchen countertops. They were professional, friendly, courteous and their timely communication was highly appreciated. I had a family emergency close to install date and Ms. Botha was flexible to accommodate my needs if required. The two gentlemen who came to install kept me up to date on their arrival, arrived on time and were professional and courteous during the process. The outcome was beautiful. I felt the value for the service received was great and would use them again.

I could not have been happier on many levels, from Top South calling me right after my purchase, to picking out my stone, to following up at all times and then the installation. It was picture perfect from beginning to end. This was the easiest installation I’ve ever had and I’ve had many.

We used Top South to replace our kitchen counter tops. WE selected quarts with a stainless steel sink. All personnel (Melissa -project manager, the individual who did the laser measurements and the installers) were very professional and great to work with. The installers took time to ensure the seam was a tight fit. This took extra time since the countertops were installed on our existing cabinets. The cabinets were 25 years old, so nothing was level or square. From the initial estimate using our measurements to the final cost, the price changed twice - it went down both times!

I am honestly shocked by some of the previous poor reviews because I have nothing but excellent things to say about Top South! My husband and I just completed a kitchen renovation and we used Top South for our counters and are beyond thrilled with the result! Our point of contact was Reina and she was a pleasure to work with. She was responsive and had clear communication throughout the whole process, making it easy for me. The counters I chose were calacatta botanica quartz and they are perfection! The installation was easy and the workmanship outstanding. Not to mention, their pricing was significantly cheaper than a quote I got from a different company. I have recommended Top South to many of my friends and family members because I my self would use them again in a heartbeat! I've included some pictures of my before and after renovation.

Back again from years of using Top South. I was so glad Melissa Slayton is still with the company because she truly is a gem. She is knowledgeable, patient, and gracious as a project manager. She stayed late last week just to allow me to travel from work to come into the showroom. I knew what I was looking for to remodel my kitchen and bathroom, so it did not take a long time to write up the order and provide me a very fair quote. Once I get settled, I cannot wait to have a brand new make over to begin a brand new life! #excited

I'm surprised by negative reviews. I was looking up Top Souths phone number and viewed the low star rating. Have to rebutt.... Here's my facts. I started using them when Corion was the rage in the early 2000's. Since, we have puchased 5 more times ranging from large full kitchens with islands bars to single vanity jobs. My wife and I have been treated with complete respect at our house and when we pick out the slab at their location. Their crews do the installs when scheduled and you cant see seams, clean up is good etc. Without hesitation, this coming week we will be buying 2 more vanity tops. I'm a picky satisfied customer!

I have used Top South twice, granite installed in our outdoor kitchen and marble in our master bathroom. My experience on both occasions was excellent, from the customer service, (excellent selection of stone product) to the installation. The master bathroom was a complicated remodel and the marble was sized perfectly to our existing cabinets and tub. I worked with three different staff members and found all three to be extremely knowledgeable, punctual with an on time delivery. I have recommended Top South to many friends who are equally as satisfied with Top South.

I wanted to start with the positive, but when I found this company on yelp, they only had 6 bad reviews, so the very first thing I want to say is that not every customer has a bad experience with these guys. My experience was FABULOUS!!! I purchased granite countertops from Home Depot, who contracted the installation out to Top South. I can't remember the timing, but it seemed like minutes after I arrived home from purchasing at HD, Heather, from Top South, was already calling me to discuss the materials and let me know what to expect. This was incredibly helpful as I had never had any work like this done in the past. Over the next few weeks, I went to pick the exact slab of granite from their distribution center (my choice; not their requirement). I was tickled that they allowed me to go into the warehouse and comb through the slabs and pick the exact one I would have in my kitchen. I have an extreme case of OCD, and this part of my experience was probably the single most important part of my happiness with the materials. I also hit some bumps with the sink I chose. I wanted a large one, and purchased from Lowes, but unfortunately Heather called and told me that that the sink was too big to properly install in a granite countertop. Not their fault at all, and they caught it before cutting the materials or moving forward. Heather pointed me to a website where I could select a sink that would work for undermounting in a granite countertop. Heather told me they would send me a template layout of my countertop, which they did. I did catch one mistake when they sent me the template. I had asked for a beveled finish and they had it down as eased finish. However, I called Heather and pointed that out, and she corrected it with no problems. I also asked if I could see the materials to choose the section of granite that would be cut out for my sink, and Heather sent me 2 digital images to choose from, allowing me to decide which way they would cut the granite. She even followed up with a phone call to confirm when I didn't respond to the email. Today the men came to install the countertops. All I can say is WOW! They were professional, courteous and seemed to be just as thrilled as I was about the new countertops. I couldn't stay out of their way because I was just too excited, so I watched them from up close...... And the lead man just smiled at me and said "do you like them?" every time he made eye contact with me. I was worried about seams, and how the pieces would go together. Well, that was a worry for nothing! The seam is almost invisible, and the pieces fit together so nicely. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with my entire experience with Top South, from the beginning to the end.

Mark assisted us and all the staff at Top South was more than accommodating with measuring and installation of our remodeling. We are in the market for more granite and without a doubt will return to Top South for this project.

Went in early on a week day morning. Worked with Dan who is very knowledgable, talked through pros and cons of all tops. We went with the delicatus granite and couldn't more happier! They came out on time and were actually a few dollars less than original quote. I would recommend this place again, they are the experts and do it best, I have used others in past, by far, best countertop experience.

A co-worker recommended TopSouth. My husband and I brought measurements, photos of the current kitchen and photos of what we wanted. We were very specific. We even pointed out a sample kitchen in the showroom to show what we wanted. Our sales person forgot to add the measurements in to meet our existing backsplash. We had to pay more but did not make a fuss. When the countertops were delivered, the corners of the island were round instead of square. The "L" shaped countertop had one round edge and one square edge. I emailed and sent photo's and was advised that rounded was "industry standard". We specifically ordered square edges. We were then advised that quartz can not be cut in a square edge and the sales person said she never would have told us it could be cut square. So I sent photos that we have one square edge out of 6. She had an attitude and said they could pick up the island piece, cut it again which would lose us 1/2" all around and we would be responsible for installing the downdraft cook top AGAIN. I responded that we did not think we should get a smaller counter top and have to be inconvenienced plus have to pay someone to install the cook top. I never heard back. The next email was them charging our credit card for the balance due. Not impressed with the lack of customer service, blaming us for their mistake and the only solution offered was costing us time and money. Go somewhere else. Home Depot had the same price but we wanted to support a smaller business. Big mistake.

Be very careful if you decide to use this company. Counter tops were good, clean up after installation was not done and price changed twice after original price. Customer service is non existent and somewhat smart mouthed.

Horrible workmanship and even worse customer service. Our countertops cracked due to not being properly leveled when originally installed (as confirmed by Top South themselves). When they finally agreed to replace them, the work on the new countertops is even worse. The seams don't align properly, once piece is bowed out, they chipped a piece and just tried to grind it out so the bevel on the edge is inconsistent. DO NOT USE THEM!

I would say this company needs to work on attention to detail. I managed to clarify a few things but still when a client is spending thousands of dollars attention to detail is important.

Never again. Company has good reviews somehow. We bought counter tops from Home Depot whose Contractor is Top South in this case. Half the job was done and they promised that they'd come back Friday to finish. We have been on this job list since Sept. 1. They come in and do half the job, then go radio silent. We don't hear from them the next couple days - the day the team is about to show up, they no-call no show. Taking multiple days off of work for this is extremely frustrating. When we called to see what the status was, people gave us the run-around, no one was sure what happened, and they said the Techs had already left without the parts we needed. When asked when they could make it, the man on the phone said "I can't do anything about it, and me being on the phone with you while you're upset isnt going to help anything. They'll come by Monday. *click*" UNREAL - avoid this heartburn, it's not worth it and theres a million other companies that can do this same thing without all the bullshit wrapped up in it.

Horrible customer service. There are a lot of granite companies on the market now that will actually treat you the way a customer should be treated. I had full countertops and a sink installed with Topsouth years ago. I simply called to inquire on solutions for a few small issues that have been occurring. The receptionist was so rude and said she would be happy to refer to a handyman outside of their organization but they could not help me. I have an idea.....How about refer me to another granite install company that prefers to get my service. So, keep in mind, if you get an install from them, once it's done, they are done with you and you won't have good customer service on getting an issues resolved.

Do not buy your granite here! We purchased a new construction home and Top South was our vendor for all of our installed granite. After purchasing the home, we realized the master bath granite countertops did not match (separate sinks with mismatched granite). Our building coordinator reached out to the company to fix their mistake. The company took weeks to come out to obtain a sample to match the granite. After cutting up my master bath countertops, the missing granite was not replaced for over 5+ months. I tried to contact the owner to find out what was taking so long and never received a returned phone call. The granite was finally replaced but they cut it incorrectly. Now we are left with another side of our master bath counters with missing granite. Let's hope this does not take another half a year to replace. This company has poor communication, is incompetent and an absolute JOKE of a business. Buyers beware.

I'm a general contractor in the metro Atlanta area with 25 years in business. This company has been a staple for me for the better part of my time in business. However, I have noticed that their level of customer service has been slipping in the past year or two. No longer is there a priority on customer care and the level of professionalism is at an all time low. This is in regards to the office staff as well as the installers. My salesperson is a great guy and I'll miss working with him. It's time to move on and from the sound of things I'm not the only one. Take some advice from someone that has been doing this a long time..... find another company to work with.

i was first introduced to Top South thru Home Depot in June 2014. I was left with a torn up kitchen, no cook-top, no sink throughout the July 4 weekend with out of town guests visiting. I didn't post a review at that time as I wasn't sure where the mix- up originated. I chalked it up to a miscommunication between Home Depot & Top South. Now I know better. It was Top South's missed measurements Not knowing of the number of other goo qualified granite companies in the area I foolishly contacted Top South with a project to fabricate vanity tops for 3 bathrooms I am remodeling. That review I will continued separately as this time it was on a one to one not thru Home Depot.

It's the worst customer experience I ever had. It took a month for a installation and then when my tile person tried to install the backsplash it was not level. I called them to tell them they said it would be a week before they could come correct their mistake. Never use them because they only want your money.

Worst customer service experience of my life. Joann setup a countertop measurement appointment with me. I waited for four hours that morning, no one ever showed up. I called the office and they said they had no record of my appointment. No resolution except to reschedule - three weeks later. I let them know I would need the appointment to begin at 8 so I would not be late for work. The guy measurement guys (2) showed up at 9:07 am and were incredibly rude. They accused me of lying about my appointment time. The older measurement guy called Joann and they discussed me in front of my face saying that I was difficult. They then informed me that I would not be able to have my measurements done for my countertops because there was a gap between the stove and the wall where a cabinet did not exist (it will be installed in the coming weeks). I told the company on the phone ahead of time that this cabinet was not yet installed - no one indicated that it was an issue. I was told that they could simply measure as if the cabinet was there as long as they had the measurements. Please take your business elsewhere - this company has the worst customer experience I've ever seen.

Purchased a kitchen and the countertop installers were Top South. When the man came to measure and template I told him I wanted a specific integrated sink. I spoke to Mike Wells and specifically asked him to call me back if there was a problem. The installation was expected 2 weeks from template. 2 1/2 weeks later I finally managed to get hold of Mike. He passed the buck and told me someone should have called me. He took no responsibility and then told the rep from the company I purchased the kitchen from that he had other customers to deal with even though I had already paid in full for the kitchen and countertop. He told me I had to get a refund from the company I bought the kitchen from so that I could buy the countertop and integral sink directly from his company. Now I have a refund from the company I bought the kitchen from and Mike Wells, nor anyone from his company called me back. Obviously they are either going out of business or too busy to take on new customers. Either way I may have dodged a bullet...

I would give them a 0 if I could! I purchased countertops from Home Depot. They came out and measured then someone called and gave me an installation date of today. On installation day - no installers in site! I call them only to find out that the material was not a "color match". Was anyone going to share this information with me???? I've missed an entire days work and my kitchen is a mess from clearing everything for them. Not to mention we invited guests over for the holiday weekend because we knew the countertops would be done. They've ruined my day and my holiday weekend. HomeDepot should strongly consider a new vendor for this.

We went to Home Depot and was referred to Top South. We wanted a L shaped countertop that people could sit at and face each other to have a discussion. When they arrived they only had a long, straight piece. To me this defeats the whole purpose (if you have 3 people sitting in a straight line- how do you not have your back to someone?), so was quite upset with them. They said they would talk to the person (Brit) who did the original measurements that TOLD US that we could install an L shaped countertop. Three business days (and a weekend) later, they didn't bother to return the call. When I called them back, I was told thatthe installer told us that they would not install on the existing countertop. This is not a problem for us because we are in the process of remodeling out whole kitchen so we could have easily done this before the install. Instead of discussing this with us, they just change the shape of the countertop. So we spend a small fortune with them and they- all on their own- decide to modify the shape of something that can not be fixed. I asked if they had shown us drawings of what the plan would look like (we got not only a long bar- but also the entire countertop around the kitchen) and they said "we had the plans in the papers". In my opinion, when you are working with something very expensive and not changeable after cutting you should make the customer very aware of what you are doing- to the point of making them sign a piece of paper that has the drawing on it. We were under the assumption that they were going to build what had been decided on with the installer- and they never told us or showed us otherwise. I was told by Heather that a manager would be calling me back. I'm hoping for the best. Otherwise, there we will simply return the piece of granite and dispute the charge with American Express and write a detailed letter to Hope Depot. If they want to work with the general public- not professional carpenters- then they need to step up their game. I will update this with their response.

Went online looking for a granite company today and realized that Top South was very near my office. Their website says Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. -- No Appointment Necessary. The one lady at the front desk was very rude and I was then told I needed a specific sales person and that "their salespeople work by appointment only." Whatever. We will use someone else.

I've updated my review with a picture of my amateur DIY cabinetry which "Mark- the COO of Top South" has brought into my review. Mark has implied that I did not understand what was required of me. "Mark- the COO of Top South" apparently does not understand how yelp works and that is why he used Melissa's account. I'm pretty sure using someone else's yelp account to rebutt an honest review that came from a former dissatisfied customer is a violation of yelp. However, all of the other yelpers out there will quickly realize that when someone uses another person's yelp account they do not understand how the process works. I'm truly amazed the COO of one the South East's top granite companies doesn't own a yelp account of his own. If Mark is interested in acquiring my consulting services he may feel free to contact my work number and I will be more than happy to set up a quote to bring them into how the Web 2.0 works. As I'm currently studying for my ITIL foundation certification as a project manager and currently possess a bachelor's degree in Management Information Services along with multiple years of experience I'm fully capable of explaining how yelp works.

Our contractor asked us to use Top South. My wife went to pick out a granite or quartz counter top for our master bath however they said they could not quote for a week do to the sales guy being on vacation. A day later they sent a quote via e-mail however I had some questions and they never sent a response. We went with a competitive (Silestone / Stone Systems Atlanta) product from The Home Depot that happen to be on sale and cheaper. If I were you I would not use Top South.

There is a larger than normal gap between the counter and wall. They filled it in with caulk. They also banged up the walls a little bit. This is my 6th time of replacing counter tops because I have investment properties. This is a poor job. In fairness I don't know yet if they will do it over, but it is not a good job.
