New owners. Place is cleaned up. Very informative gentleman took his time to truly help me select tile edging for my kitchenette sink countertop and back splash. Found out the "marble" tile I purchased on FB Marketplace is manufactured quartz. No matching bullnose was available so he helped me select metal trim that is functional and pleasing to my eyes. He knew exactly where to go and what my options were. $45 later, I very happily headed home. No military discount though.

We were shopping around to redo our house floors and came across this location. Staff was helpful, offered samples to take home to make sure we knew are options, and explained all different types of tiles there are. House renovations are super stressful but they made the experience smooth and the material was delivered on time. We did the renovations ourselves and they helped a lot with the DIY info, saved us money on that and the material was high quality and a good price! Check them out.

Tile Outlet has done a great job of helping me with my flooring projects. I purchased hard wood from them 11 years ago. Not I'm changing to "Luxury Vinyl" and some concrete tile. They get the products I want on time and always very helpful.

This place is AMAZING! They have a whole warehouse of tile IN STOCK and well priced. They also carry granite counter top slabs in stock as well as a wide range of laminate floor and wood floors to order. Their laminate floor prices are better than anywhere else you can buy laminate. IF you don't find any tile that you like in stock, you can order from their high end designer tile samples. They have a whole showroom of samples. They also tile supplies such as morter, grout, shower shelf inserts mouldings etc. It is definitely worth the drive if you are looking for great prices and a lot of variety or looking for a huge variety of in stock tile. This is the place to go. The staff is also very helpful and very customer service oriented!

Going to lowes or Home Depot give you a minimal selection of tile, but this place has so much more to offer. The showroom has so much more already and on top of that, there is a warehouse in the back with a huge selection. The owner is nice and friendly and was very helpful. He also sells granite. I highly recommend this place. My contractor told me about it and I'm glad I made the drive.

THis place is the best! Outstanding customer service! We remodeled our kitchen last year and were in a quandry as to tile for the backsplash--all the tile we liked was out of our price range....We decided to check the Tile Outlet and we were very happy that we did! Found exactly what we were looking for and my kitchen turned out beautiful. Jump forward one year and we sold out home (Thank you, City of Stockton and City Council), downsized, and wanted to redo the kitchen just like our old house. Lucky for us, the tile was still available. We ordered it and 2 days later it is here! Go to this place, you will not be sorry!

Initially went to Bedrosians and found the tile we wanted but sales guy there wasn't sure the color they were displaying and we were interested in was actually available?? We were going to have to wait several days just to find out if the color we wanted was really available. Anyway we went off to Tile Outlet as a second choice, Should have been our first. They don't have a fancy showroom but they have a warehouse where you can see everything. Don't be fooled by the front office area, you need to go into the warehouse. Personally I like to warehouse approach as opposed to the foo foo showrooms so this was my kind of place. We found the exact same tile we saw at Bedrosians for a very attractive price.The helpful warehouseman checked on availability and told us the tile was available in their Modesto warehouse. He also let us have a 20 by 20 tile to take home and check on colors. We bought tile and grout and it was delivered on time as promised. I would definitely recommend this place based on price and efficiency. Don't be turned off by the slightly rough nature of the people that work there and the out of the way location, they are nice folks.

i couldn't be happier i found this place. After a less than desirable experience at Kelly's Kitchen and Bath Showroom (see my review) I headed over here to see what they had to offer. On the first visit a younger man gave us a quick tour of the warehouse- what they had in stock, what they could order, what was on closeout. spent time with us, very nice. on the second visit (we were closer to a decison) a different man helped, this one with an accent. He was very knowledgable, and non-pushy- he just gave us the facts we ordered our tile which should only take only a few days to get! woohoo!

It is inconceivable how I was treated at this store located in the bowels of Stockton. No, you ass, not all of Stockton is a bowel. And I was treated like royalty... royalty, I'm telling you! Bill, the owner was running around like mad and literally taking care of every single customer. Making every person feel like they are the only customer in the shop. I have never seen this store empty. The slate I wanted wasn't in stock, Bill ordered it, and promised it would arrive the next day. Lo and behold.... it arrived and he even loaded it up into my truck on a pallet. Gorgeous tiles... definitely stuff you will not see at Home Depot or Lowe's. "Home of the 99 cent Tile".... not kidding that's what the sign says... and it's true. ***my tile was not 99 cents a tile.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Purchased 2 bags of grout recently as it was reasonably close to chip of existing grout in home. Not lowest prices, but wanted to support local small business. On way home stopped at Big Box Store looking for ceiling fan. While there checked grout colors there & located grout that was exact match to my chip. Returned grout to Tile Outlet very next day. Met w/ business owner who sold me grout & explained why I was returning grout. Owner was "miffed" & advised he would give "in store" credit only for return even though he remembered my purchase, I had my receipt in hand and there was no notice re all sales being final?! He then walked away into warehouse w/o providing any written documentation re return. I went into office & was totally ignored. I couldn't believe this was a business owner. Seemed very helpful prior & through sale until the point of asking for a refund. My wife & I originally wanted to return at some point after completion of the current project, but we will NEVER return to this business for ANYTHING!

would never come to this place again you're better off going to another more expensive tile store and pay more money for better service.. I went twice looking for a tile that I purchased a few years ago for a project, I understand if they no longer carry this tile but at least have the customer service to point me the right direction offer different options, nothing was done. I was told to "go look out in the warehouse" ... I didn't mind paying more money for a item that would have matched that was inside or on display, but when asked i was ignored by both men. Originally I went to the wrong tile store were very helpful offered to search the company that I could have got the tile from and if not offered to help me find something in their store that matched. When did a little customer service stop existing..

Staff were friendly, but could not keep my order straight - TRIPLE CHECK what you pick up before you head home and don't send someone else to pick up for you! First order: gave me someone else's mosaic tile and had to switch it out. Second order: good Third order: good except I got a call saying I had a box of tile that I didn't pick up from my second order and didn't pay for. I corrected Juan and assured him i picked up and paid for everything i had ordered. Fourth order: 90% was the wrong size or wrong color! AND they charged me for a box of tile that they did not give me! When i called, it was my fault and "the tile doesn't even come in the size I wanted." Even though I had ordered the exact same tile in order 1 and this was just a few more pieces. In the end, I got the right size and color and returned the incorrect tile, but they would not refund the box they claim i picked up without paying for. Rediculous! They don't let people take tile without paying! What a way to treat your customer

I am in the process of uploading my You-Tube video (you can click on the link at the bottom) and have a much, much different take on Bill than these other reviews; perhaps a more honest take from a female homeowner's perspective. Bill is a vulture who recommends non contracted tile setters and sells seconds through them. It was all less than top-notch. I invite you to watch the video and check out his buddy, Jeff Duckett, who he recommended to do my bathroom. The tile was as shoddy as the workmanship of the tile setter recommended straight off of Bill's cell phone. He is less than a hero to me. Seriously, check out the video! Shame on you Bill! As for Jeff Duckett, one can only hope he gets caught up in one of his own little scams. He sure had a lot of credit on his Home Depot Account from returns...Asked if I didn't mind letting him use his credits to purchase my materials, taking my cash.
