My experience was the same as some others here. I can only assume that unless you are planning on spending huge dollars with them, they don't seem to want your business. I needed counter tops for my kitchen and was only a $3200 quote so I guess it was not worth their time. The sales lady was helpful the two times I came in to pick out what I wanted and they have a great selection but would never follow up so I gave up and went to Natural Stone on Camp Bowie and had my new counter tops installed in less than a week. I'll be redoing my bathrooms soon and you know where I'll go.
I would give a one star if it was not the fact that they have a large selection and if you can get any service from them, they probably do good work. I just think they need to go wholesale only and not try to cater to the general public as it was a waste of my valuable time.

I stopped in here to have a small odd shaped piece of rough granite turned into a nice rectangle to use for appetizers. They straightened out the sides into a perfect rectangle and put a nice curved edge on it. The price was affordable, turn-around timely, and service friendly by each person I met. They have a nice showroom for counters, tiles, sinks, plus more with a wide variety and selection of everything. I just happened into here cause it's near where I live but I would recommend it to anyone building, remodeling, or just updating a home or if you're like me, just needing a piece of granite finished out beautifully.

Well, where to start?
The driver of one of your vehicles tail gated me within a foot of my number as we passed through the entire school zone by Marine Creek Middle School, and didn't seem to want to obey the law at all.
When we got out of the school zone, they whipped around two lanes of traffic to get up to near 60mph in order to be "first" to get on the service road and onto 820. Is this how your employees act all the time? Putting lives in danger and not wanting to go the proper speed through school zones?

This is not the place to go if your a simple homeowner on a budget looking to upgrade your kitchen. The staff is not interested in taking the time to help you. The business seems to be geared to contractors with high-dollar projects only. I went for bids on a marble counter project on 2 occasions. Once it was almost impossible to get someone to answer my questions and when they did they were dismissive and annoyed. On the 2nd occasion (for another project, I don't know why I went back), I was able to get a little help and a couple questions answered, and gave them the details of my project. They said they'd email me a bid but they never did.

TMGW was the supplier and installer of my kitchen counter tops. They provided excellent customer service, helped in the decision making of the type of granite and soapstone material, along with color. They made recommendations which were within my budget. They were also able to accommodate changes requested at the last minute. The installation was smooth and on schedule. The installers did quality work. My kitchen looks fabulous. I am very appreciative of the support provided. I would highly recommend this company.

I've used them twice thus far for custom countertops and tile work in my homes. The materials are very high quality but it is a very disorganized organization who you always seem to have to follow up with. I think they cater to the big contractors which makes sense but isn't a great experience for the normal homeowner wanting to do upgrades. Cost is reasonable and a good selection of slabs to choose from. Very poor sales support and updates

We had an excellent experience with Tile Marble and Granite works. Had granite installed in our kitchen and from the sales rep to the installers, it was a smooth and easy process. We spent a long time and multiple occasions out in the granite yard making a decision. The sales rep was helpful and we never felt rushed. Installers were very professional and did a beautiful job. Will definitely be using Tile marble and granite works for the rest of our projects.

We did a major renovation in our home and I have to say of all of the things that went into the process Tile Marble & Granite Works was Amazing! Woo Hoo! As good as it gets! David Schmidt and the staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and always went above and beyond what they promised. The install went without a hitch and we LOVE our new marble 10x5 island, kitchen and bathroom marble. I was very sad when they told me we would have to use two sheets because of the size of the island (marble does not come in that size or if it did it was way over our budget). Leigh Ann assured me they would match the two sheets together and it would look great! SHE WAS SPOT ON, it looks amazing! Leigh Ann worked with us and a staff member to map out the rest of the kitchen and bath, it was like a puzzle, in the end we told them do what they think is best, it is very obvious they knew what they were doing. We brought in one piece of tile that a friend of ours used that we loved. They look the time to hunt it down and ordered it in for us. Thank you Tile Marble & Granite Works for the awesome experience.

Had granite installed in our kitchen last year. We had an awesome experience with this place. The sales rep was extremely helpful and patient with us when picking out our granite. Installers were professional and left everything clean. Install itself turned out beautifully. We are coming back for all our bathroom work and backsplash. Love it!

Called to get information about floor tile for a project. The person answering the phone was rude and seemed uninterested in helping. I thought it might be a fluke so I drove to the showroom a week later. I encountered the exact same treatment. I wanted to see tile samples for an upcoming project and after several minutes of totally irrelevant questions I was told "Well, you know we don't have tile here that you can take home today. It has to be ordered". I have GC'd a dozen or more complete builds and countless remodels and have never experienced this level of poor service on any material purchase.

Giving one star strictly for customer service. This is some of the rudest staff. The girl at the front desk is extremely unhelpful, doesn't smile and simply answers your questions with a one-worded "yes" or "no". Her obvious disinterest in conversing with you at that time could not be more obvious. The interpersonal skills are not apparent and being the first face you see when you walk in the door, it's an important first impression. The lady that helped me was very knowledgable but also exuded disinterest in much of our conversation which can make a customer feel like they're more of a bother than a customer. It's unfortunate too because they have so much product and the store is very nice. Between the product and what appears to be the knowledge of the staff, this experience could be 5-stars if everyone wasn't so rude and unpleasant.

Acting as a mystery shopper, our analyst attempted to contact company representatives to clarify the timeframe for a standard 83.4 sq. ft. countertop project — however, either the calls and messages went unanswered, or the staff were unable or unwilling to provide an estimated completion time. It’s important to note that situations like this are not uncommon: contractors may be overwhelmed with work, prefer to discuss project details in person, or choose not to disclose information during the initial contact.

To get up-to-date information, we recommend contacting the company directly through our website — submit a request, call, or message them to receive a personalized quote and clarify current pricing.
Does Tile Marble & Granite Works offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Tile Marble & Granite Works performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Tile Marble & Granite Works provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Tile Marble & Granite Works, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Tile Marble & Granite Works in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
