We could not be happier with the process of working through picking the perfect countertops with Claire. She was informative to the different products available and very responsive to our texts and calls. We landed on a beautiful quartz and the installation team couldn’t have been more professional. Thank you The Stone Source for making this a stress free process and providing amazing customer service!

My wife and I purchased granite and tile for our kitchen and guest bathroom. For the most part, I’ve worked with Blaine. He was extremely patient and helpful in deciding on what granite to choose. He even went as far to help in the color matching of the tile and made excellent suggestions. When it came time to cut the granite, there was an issue. They were going to have to use two pieces of granite because what we had initially picked had a directional grain running through it that had to be matched because of the shape of one of our countertops in the kitchen. The price of the granite increase by $1300 because of having to use two slabs and was now out of our budget. We initially thought we would only have to use one slab. Blaine then introduced me to Dusty who was designing the cutout for our slab. Dusty took time to explain to me the issues we were facing with a seam in the granite being very noticeable and that we would not be satisfied. He was very honest with me and even went as far to say that he wouldn’t put it in his own house with such a visible seam. I appreciated that. All customers want is honesty. Needless to say, I needed to pick out a new piece of granite. I had three employees from The Stone Source helping me determine the right granite to work with. I believe we looked at two to three more and actually taking photos to upload into the program to see how each would look once cut and put together. On the date of installation, the installers did an excellent job. They were extremely courteous and conscientious. My wife and I could not be any happier.

My husband and I remodeled our kitchen in January. We picked out the perfect granite for the countertops at Stone Source. They were very nice and easy to work with. Our rep was Sheree Cook. We can't say enough good things about Sheree! She made the stressful experience of remodeling a breeze. She went above and beyond to make sure our every request was met. She was attentive and provided excellent customer service. We love our new kitchen and would recommend Stone Source to anyone. Ask for Sheree!

We recently completed a major renovation that involved replacing kitchen and bath countertops and tiled surfaces including backsplashes, floors, and shower walls provided by The Stone Source. Everything about our experience was excellent - they have a wide selection of choices and our representative, Claire Dorsey, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She gave us a tutorial on the pros and cons of each material, helped us select what we needed, and made sure our materials arrived on schedule in the quantities we needed. Maybe most importantly, she took the time to learn what we liked and called us whenever she thought we, our designer, and our contractor might not be on the same page. The countertops were cut exactly to the dimensions we needed, delivered to our house on schedule, and installed professionally. The new countertops are the focal points of our bath and kitchen and we couldn't be more pleased.

What a phenomenal experience I've had from The Stone Source. My 30-year-old master and guest bathroom countertops and sinks were way past their prime but The Stone Source took care of me every step of the way. Claire in Sales patiently went through a myriad of options and questions with me, Bill promptly came over to my home to take precise laser measurements, and Will and his coworker installed the new countertops in less than an hour in three bathrooms. I am unbelievably impressed and know who to call next time when I'm ready to update my kitchen countertops.

This place is fantastic. We had a great experience with Craig - our salesman. He was polite, accommodating, and not high pressure - but he made sure that we were happy. We have not been this excited over countertops before. Thank you for a great experience, we look forward to the new countertops. A great selection, great options, and a great team. Where to start.....
Before using Stone Source in building my new home, I went to Yelp to browse reviews. There was only one review, and it was from Joey. You can read it below. Go ahead. I'll wait...
Joey left a pretty poor review. So I thought to myself "well, self, people usually only leave bad reviews when they have a bad experience. They never leave reviews when they have a good experience, so maybe Yelp isn't that helpful after all."
So I decided to use the Stone Source.
Well, about a year later, I realized that Joey was spot-on, absolutely, without a doubt, perfectly correct. However, they have excellent products and do an awesome job with granite countertops, so apparently my experience was somewhat better than poor Joey's.
So do yourself a favor. If you use the Stone Source, follow these rules:
1) When they say they have a particular tile "in stock", don't believe them. They have nothing in stock other than 2 sticks of Juicy Fruit and some used socks.
2) When ordering tile, make SURE you order well ahead of time. When they tell you they can get tiles on short notice, allow a month. And don't order too small an amount, because they might discontinue the tile after you order. And don't order too much, because you can't return any unused tiles, even if they're still in the unopened box.
3) Keep copies of EVERYTHING. E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. They will not accurately keep track of what they've sold you.
I have no experience working with tile stores other than the Stone Source. Maybe they're even worse. Doubtful. Two stars.

Do yourself a favor, if you are looking for tile or countertops. Keep driving don't stop at Stone Source. we are building a home and got all of the flooring and counters here. We used salesperson Mindy, if you do stop don't use her. Everything we picked out was in stock, according to Mindy, we found out that wasn't true. We had to go back and pick the master tile a second time because what we picked the first time and was in stock actually wasn't available. This changed everything we had picked for the Master Bath, the new tile we picked that was in stock actually wasn't, took six weeks to get it delivered. Hardwood flooring, not enough delivered. The Jack and Jill, not enough floor tile delivered. The guest bath not enough tile delivered. Kitchen back splash wasn't delivered at all. Kitchen back board not enough tile delivered. Stone Source measured and laid out the plan and still didn't send enough. I will not use them again for anything.

The Stone Source came highly recommended to me. So I had an appointment with Britt Gibson on August 24, 2018 to pick granite that I wanted to put in my kitchen and laundry room. I picked out the granite that I wanted. I even went back out to pick out granite for my 2 bathrooms that was going to be renovated and updated. On November 1, I received a text from Angie with Stone Source to confirm an appointment for Dave Morgan to come out and measure my kitchen and laundry room at 9:00 on November 2. Everything went as scheduled and was set to have countertops installed by Thanksgiving. About a week after Dave left, I got a call from Craig Boyette, tell me that Britt had left the company and he was my new contact person. He said he was told to call me to ask if I had ran my hand over the granite I had picked out. I said no because I did not know that I needed to do that. I finally went back out and told Craig that I did not want that and did not see anything else that I was interested in. On November 27, Craig texted and said that he could not find any of the Desert Brown Granite that I had pick out but that he had found Quartz that was similar in color. I went the same day and picked out the one I wanted. Called and texted Craig on November 30 for price on the Quartz, no answer or response. December 4 finally got a text saying "Sorry I missed your call". By this time I am really upset and disgusted with the whole process. Then on December 6, I get a text from the third party that I am dealing with to apologize for what has gone on and to let me know that there is a $400 plus tax increase in cost for the Quartz. This was not the issue. The issue was that my counter tops was not going to be installed until January 14, 2019. I was told that we are at the mercy of the fabricators and the next available date was the 14th. So the appointment was set for January 14 around noon. I was home and the installers finally showed up around 2 p.m. I had to call Dusty to see if they were still coming. He called back to say they were running late and will be there in 30 minutes. After the counter tops were finally on, I had to tell one of the guys that the tops need to be cleaned. There was glue on them. And on top of that, the sink that was to be put in the laundry room was to be stainless still. Instead it was a white sink. I told them to take the whole thing out, counter top and sink. Why would I want a white sink in my laundry room when I have stainless steel washer and dryer??? Well he had to call his boss. I said it does not matter, take everything out. So I still do not have counter top in laundry room. The customer service that I have received from The Stone Source was terrible and I will definitely not recommend them to anyone. In fact, I will not be getting my bathroom counter tops from them. I will take my business elsewhere.

Heed my warning, there are far better places to use than the Stone Source. The customer service is minimal to nonexistent. The associates do not accept fault in any of the (many) mistakes made. The delivery and installations are almost always a pain in the ass, due to poor management. I would not advise anyone to shop here.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This company does not honor their quoted time frame and has terrible customer service. They do the typical "guaranteed" work at the beginning, and then when your house is a wreck they keep pushing back their install date. Save yourself a headache and use someone else!

Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, The Stone Source performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.

This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact The Stone Source in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
