Stone Alchemist is the best. Family owned and operated they responded immediately and went over and beyond all expectations. Luis and Maria are perfectionists and do not cut corners at any point. I had 33 years of grime and dirt that was removed in a slow and methodical system. Their son Chevelle was involved the entire time. They were a pleasure to have in my home. Excellent work and fair pricing combined with modesty is a winning combination. You can’t do better. First three photos are “before” and last two are “after.”

Let me start by saying I was super impressed with the quality of work by The Stone Alchemist. I had a relatively straightforward job to shave/grind 1/8 inch of granite countertop to fit in a new range. The quote I received was competitive with two other quotes I sought out. I had no idea how granite is shaved and didn't really know what to expect. However, as soon as I saw the completed work, I knew I had received my money's worth. They took their time and did not try to rush the work. They did such an excellent job and left the countertop edges in even better shape than before. The attention to detail with regard to polishing and smoothing out the edges was fantastic. I highly recommend them. I almost wish I had more work so I could bring them back.

The Stone Alchemists are amazing—honest, perfectionists, and extremely hardworking. They fixed a large crack in my granite and replaced my sink, which required resizing the sink cutout and changing it from rounded to squared. The cutting and polishing were done with precise attention to detail. They took great care and time with the project. I would 100% recommend them! I don’t wish to have another granite issue, but if I do, I would be excited to call them.

We found a crack on our granite and wanted to take opportunity to replace the sink. Luis and his son gave us a very reasonable price and walked me through the process. Luis and Maria did the granite repair today and helped us switch out the sink. They not only found a matching granite replacement but also did a great job replace the part that cracked. Our sink was super difficult to switch, but they took the job with patience and worked carefully. I'm very satisfied with the job and will definitely hire them to do the maintenance in the future, also referring them to my friends!

Superior quality workmanship and knowledge. They did an outstanding job and we highly recommend Luis and his team. The Stone Alchemist restored a damaged area on my quartz countertop that I thought couldn’t be fixed. My counter had some light surface etching and discoloration from my coffee pot after I descaled it with a vinegar solution. Some of the solution dripped onto the counter and it left spots. Other stone refinishing companies I contacted only work on natural stone, not engineered quartz. So, I thought my countertop was ruined until I contacted The Stone Alchemist. They do work with quartz and Charvel was confident they could help, so I made an appointment for an estimate. Charvel and Luis inspected the damage, described the repair process and provided an estimate which I thought was very reasonable. A few days later Luis worked on my countertop for almost 4 hours and restored the surface back to factory-new. He is meticulous and made sure the repair blended in with the rest of the countertop. I honestly can’t see where the damage or the repair was. I posted a couple of photos, but the reflection of my countertop lights makes it hard to capture how good the repair was. The spots are completely gone! Just call them… There is a reason they have so many good reviews.

The Stone Alchemist checks all the boxes and more. There are fabricators and installers. They are in one class. Their skills vary as much as their prices. The Stone Alchemist is a class of their own. Of course their prices are great, but the quality is unparalleled. They are the modern day studio of Michelangelo. They do not cut. They chisel and sculpt marble into master pieces of art. I have been in the business of flipping houses. I know all the players and slab houses from Sherman Way to Ontario. This was for my house and I wanted the best. Only The Stone Alchemist was on my list to give me the job I wanted. Also I wanted a rare, beautiful and hard to work with marble. The Alchemist came through beyond my expectations. I wanted these large slabs carved into "L" shapes with no seams - No Problem. I wanted my "pony wall" covered seamlessly and The Alchemist did it to perfection. My photos do not do justice to this exquisite kitchen they have created for me. Now I am cooking and enjoying the heart of the home in pure bliss. I could not recommend The Stone Alchemist with any higher recommendation except you will be happy and lucky if you can get them to do your countertops and anything stone related. This is a family run business that takes pride in their work! The son and father, who has been perfecting his craft for decades, came out for the estimate, on time, very professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They provided a reasonable estimate and we were able to schedule them very quickly. They don’t provide any plumbing services, so we had to hire a plumber to remove and then re-install all of the sink fixtures so that was a bit annoying and added to the price, but we greatly appreciated their attention to detail and desire to polish the entire counter correctly rather than skipping areas they couldn’t reach. On day of service, the father and his wife came to repair and polish our counters. (I wish I could remember their names, but I’m horrible with names) They did a fantastic job, carefully prepping the areas, masking off everything to protect our cabinets and backsplash, and worked quietly, carefully, and meticulously to repair our damaged counters. Additionally they caulked our sink and around the bottom of the backsplash with precision. I can’t say enough good things about them, but we felt we were in good hands with experts that have mastered their craft. Highly recommend them!!

We recently hired The Stone Alchemist and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They managed to repair small chips in the kitchen quartz countertop, as well as polish minor scratches and stains from them and those in all the bathrooms. They also re-sealed shower stalls. They did fantastic work at our home in Irvine, delivering high-quality craftsmanship that restored the countertops beautifully. From the start, they were easy to work with and very professional. While they were a little late on the first day, they more than made up for it by thoroughly cleaning everything when the job was done, leaving our home spotless. I contacted a few granite installers and stone Alchamist was fast at responding and they showed up to give me an estimate an hour later. They came out and helped us understand the differences between granite and quartz and they gave us a very reasonable quote. They mentioned some items we had to redo before installation to make everything go smooth (our outlets were too low and some cabinets needed more clearance) They (family business, two sons, dad and the mom) showed up and got everything installed and set perfectly even with our customized sized countertops. These people did an amazing job restoring our 30 year o,d limestone floor. It looks brand new. It is like a mirror. They spent an entire day sanding and polishing a 350 square foot floor. It took 3 weeks to dry out afterward. They came back and put on a sealer and buffed it. We will definitely use them again. The price of the entire job was reasonable. They are very conscientious and hard working.

They came out, gave me a very reasonable estimate, found a matching peice of granite, and had it repaired and replaced so well you can't even see it even if I point it out. Cleaned up after. These guys are the best at hand crafting a countertop. I had a pantry installed with a small cabinet next to it. The cabinet guy didn't include a countertop. Stone Alchemist had a remnant that was a very close match to our existing quartz countertops. He came and measured and returned with a roughed out piece and finished the final cutting at the house. There was a clearance issue with the pantry door so he came back and trimmed the little counter. Very reasonably priced for a little 14" by 14" counter.

I recently had the pleasure of working with The Stone Alchemist for a fireplace renovation, and I can't say enough good things about their work! They installed a stunning quartzite stone slab for my fireplace, and the results are absolutely breathtaking. The natural veining and colors in the stone make it a show-stopping centerpiece in my living room--every guest who walks in comments on how beautiful it looks. What really impressed me was their creativity and resourcefulness. They took the cutout from the fireplace and fabricated a gorgeous coffee table top from it, perfectly matching the aesthetic of the room. Luis did an incredible job on my shower. My marble floor was looking dull and had some roughness. Luis brought it all back to life looking brand new, I did not think it would look as good as it came out because of the condition it was in. I definitely will be calling them back to re-seal in a year. Great service and very respectful as they left the restroom spotless once the job was finished.

I selected The Stone Alchemist based on its solid 5 star reviews and I am happy to add my own to it. Luis' initial assessment of the state of our marble countertop and bath surround was very honest and he set proper expectations of what could be remediated and not (the marble had not be resealed for 20 years). The work they proceeded to do was professionally and meticulously executed. They were very knowledgeable and experienced dealing with any issues. Luis and Mary were extremely hard working and spent 12 hours the last day to finish the job to our mutual satisfaction. We were okay with an extra day but they had another job. They left everything spotless and wore booties in the house. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Needed to have my Granite counter top cut to fit my new stove. Luis and family immediately discussed the cut with me and checked out my entire kitchen counter. The cut size was perfect and edges beautifully polished. Entire kitchen countertops were cleaned, sealed and polished. Simply put, these guys do a great job. The only issue you may have is trying to get them scheduled as they seem to have a lot of work lined up for them. After some delays in getting the tile we wanted, we ultimately settled on porcelain for our outdoor kitchen countertops. They ultimately did a great job as I was impressed with their craftmenship, attention to detail, and heads up on any potential issues. They seem to be a great family business. Again the only downside is perhaps being able to get them scheduled!

INCREDIBLE! I am extremely happy with the work The Stone Alchemist did in my kitchen. They are super nice and respectful of your home. They left my kitchen spotless after they finished their work. I had an under mount sink and did NOT want to replace the existing tile to replace with new sink. Many companies before them told me it couldn't be done and that I would pretty much need to replace all existing countertops and then install new sink. Not Stone Alchemist though :). When I called they asked I send them a text and a few pictures of the area that needed work. They quickly responded to my text and set up a consultation. They came out and suggested a drop in sink to preserve existing tile. They took measurements and sent me the dimensions so that I could start shopping around. I had found a few online and wanted to get a second set of eyes on dimensions so that I could be super sure before purchasing. They were so nice to respond and confirm what I was looking at. The value and quality of work from them is worth it. Highly recommend the stone alchemist. Super happy I found them on yelp. They saved me tons of money ! Cheers! :)

Luis and Maria are true artisans! The front lip of our honed marble countertop had started to separate from the horizontal slab. Luis and Maria carefully removed the front edge, cleaned off the old adhesive and made an epoxy repair that looks better than the counter did when it was brand new. Their attention to detail, cleanliness and professionalism was truly impressive. I would highly recommend The Stone Alchemist for any repair, sealing or fabrication project.

The Stone Alchemist - Honest and Meticulous. Although our request came late during the winter holidays so it took them a little while to get to us they impressed us when they finally did. I had asked them to do a relatively small job of cutting a 4x4 hole in our kitchen peninsula for a pop-up outlet and maybe do cleaning and resealing of all the counter tops. They quoted a reasonable price for the cutting and offered suggestions of where and how it would best work in the general area we wanted. They told us we really didn't need resealing right now but do it annually. It took them 3-4 hours to do the cutting work and towards the end they made fine tuning cuts to the granite and plywood subsurface to make the fit was good. Then, they installed the outlet metal box, guts and cover of the outlet to make sure it worked mechanically. The power is now to it and it looks and works fine.

An adorable family team of true craftsmen and (woman)! They helped us replace an undermount sink that had been chipped. Many other firms did not even want to touch the job. They took their time and were very careful to protect our home and work area. They used booties to cover their shoes and plastic sheets to cover the surrounding areas. Things were left spotless and the replacement sink was installed with metal rails and silicone according to manufacturer spec, unlike our original fabricators. Don't hesitate to reach out. They are very responsive and can even work with expensive countertops like quartzite.

I was looking for someone to replace my undermount kitchen sink while keeping the existing quartz countertop. This is a small family business and we had a few challenges with scheduling at the beginning, but we hung in there and I'm so glad we did. Charvel and his dad came to my house on a weekend when convenient for me. They spent plenty of time carefully looking at my kitchen to get everything right. The quoted price was fair, and when they completed the work, they honored it even though they spent a lot more time on it than I expected. We had a quartz top fabricated for a small vanity in our half-bath remodel. Since being in our home, we've had three quartz fabrication jobs done - a large job in the kitchen, a hall bathroom and this one. As for workmanship, the other two couldn't touch Luis. Luis is the Stone Alchemist! Seriously - so clean. I wanted a very specific, custom job with half inch overhang and three beveled sides. Done and done. The install with the undermount sink and widespread faucet was carried out with meticulous attention to detail. Friendly family business with fair pricing. What more can you ask for?

Fixed a crack in our granite countertop where pieces were starting to break away. Incredible result. You wouldn't even know there used to be a crack there. The husband-wife team restored and polished the damaged surfaces from the hard calcium water deposits. Looks brand new. They arrived on time and displayed pride in their craft. These guys helped me even though my job was so small. I am so grateful that they helped me out with trimming and installing my vanity backsplash and side splash. I was given a reasonable price and the quality was great. I had bought a vanity from Lowe's that came with a back splash and bought an extra backsplash to be used as a side splash, however it needed to be cut down. I called the stone alchemist and they agreed to come out and cut down the stone and install both backsplash and side splash. Looks awesome and was just what I needed. Thank you so much for your help!

These guys are amazing. Quick turnaround! I had two big pieces of granite tabletops that I wanted cut down to smaller tabletops. They came and picked it up on Saturday and returned the new pieces on Monday. Also I had a small round granite tabletop that had candle wax embedded in it. They polished it and it looks great! In addition, they do fantastic work and their attention to detail is second to none. They did our kitchen and bathroom using just two slabs when other contractors said we needed three slabs. That alone saved me over $1,000. I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work and they were so easy to work with; very flexible and kept me informed of all progress. They did excellent work with cutting our granite countertops and installing drop-in sinks. They started at 8am and left at 11:30am to do the job right. They also never stopped to take a break and were extremely kind and friendly the entire time even though it must have been very hard going. The job required a lot of work and they didn't skimp on paying extra attention to all the details. They made sure everything was level, lined-up, smoothed out, cut perfectly, and cleaned up. This was our second project with them. The first project, a drop in stovetop went extremely smoothly and they were in and out very quickly and the results were similarly fantastic. I own a rental and after 3 years my tenants moved out. To my surprise my quartz countertops were absolutely destroyed. It was extremely hard for me to find a company that worked on quartz (most only work on natural stone). I got so lucky I found The Stone Alchemist on Yelp. I was in a rush to turn around the rental and get the new tenants moved in. They agreed to come to my house and work all weekend. They spent all day Saturday working on the quartz, and stayed until 10pm on Sunday to get the job done. They did an absolutely amazing job! If you have a countertop chip, crack or discoloration, call The Stone Alchemist before you think about replacement. Luis has helped me twice now, with two separate issues regarding our Quartz countertop. The first was a small chip next to the sink, the second was a deep burn mark. Both times he came through for us, spending a lot more time than estimated, but stayed with his estimate. You rarely encounter a professional that takes this much pride in their work. Let me start by saying I was super impressed with the quality of work by The Stone Alchemist. I had a relatively straightforward job to shave/grind 1/8 inch of granite countertop to fit in a new range. The quote I received was competitive with two other quotes I sought out on Yelp. I had no idea how granite is shaved and didn't really know what to expect. However, as soon as I saw the completed work, I knew I had received my money's worth. They took their time and did not try to rush the work. They did such an excellent job and left the countertop edges in even better shape than before. The attention to detail with regard to polishing and smoothing out the edges was fantastic. I highly recommend them. I almost wish I had more work so I could bring them back.

The Stone Alchemist restored a damaged area on my quartz countertop that I thought couldn't be fixed. My counter had some light surface etching and discoloration from my coffee pot after I descaled it with a vinegar solution. Some of the solution dripped onto the counter and it left spots. Other stone refinishing companies I contacted only work on natural stone, not engineered quartz. So, I thought my countertop was ruined until I contacted The Stone Alchemist. They do work with quartz and Charvel was confident they could help, so I made an appointment for an estimate. Charvel and Luis inspected the damage, described the repair process and provided an estimate which I thought was very reasonable. A few days later Luis worked on my countertop for almost 4 hours and restored the surface back to factory-new. He is meticulous and made sure the repair blended in with the rest of the countertop. I honestly can't see where the damage or the repair was. I posted a couple of photos, but the reflection of my countertop lights makes it hard to capture how good the repair was. The spots are completely gone! Just call them... There is a reason they have so many good reviews.
