Very seldom do things go perfectly. During my kitchen and bath remodeling everything seemed to be going smoothly when we hit a bump in the road. It was a very short-lived bump because the people at the Granite Store heard my concerns and quickly and efficiently solved the problem. Thank you everyone for the excellent customer service. My kitchen and bath look GREAT!

Sydney is great to work with, she showed us all of our options & quickly sent Jason over to measure everything & install went in the next week. Everything is absolutely gorgeous & was so quick and easy. I definitely recommend the granite store!

Sydney and the team at The Granite Store did a phenomenal job on helping us pick out what granite counter tops we wanted, as well as which sink / faucet would match perfectly with it. Upon doing so, they scheduled the installing appointment and it was a breeze. Our kitchen has a whole new look thanks to them! Can’t wait to have more work done by The Granite Store

Awful service, low quality installation, poor workmanship and terrible customer service, do not shop here. Management has placed a priority on dollars and not the customer. Beware!

I have no idea how many projects these guys have done for me over the last 15 years... 65, 70 maybe. Working with stone is not an exact science and occasionally problems occur. The Granite Store installers and management have never once failed me. They even drove 5 hours to do a vacation home in N. Ga. for me once. I'm a customer for life. Mike Britt Construction 4 years after I submitted this review, I'm still a lifetime client.... and they've cut well over 100 pieces for me. Sydney, Cathy and Gary never let me down.

The Granite Store Design Center came recommended by a friend when we decided to build a pool house with full kitchen amenities. From the moment we walked into the beautiful showroom and were greeted by Sydney Weatherford, our experience was positive. Sydney helped us choose appropriate colors and style stone for our 14 foot island and kitchen counters (Fantasy Brown quartzite) as well as helping us choose the perfect granite for our bathrooms vanities and shower bench. She was patient, knowledgeable, and totally professional, answering every question, offering suggestions, and helping us problem solve…. no matter how many times we visited or called (which was often!). Oh, and she returned EVERY phone call we made PROMPTLY! During one visit, when Sydney was tied up, we had an opportunity to meet with Gary, who helped us choose bathroom sinks. He listened to our needs and offered perfect suggestions that were within our budget. When neither Sydney nor Gary were available, Cathy filled in with the same friendliness, promptness, and helpfulness. As customers, we appreciated their team work! I feel badly I can’t remember everyone’s names who worked on this project because they each deserve recognition for their efforts to make us happy, satisfied customers. The man who came to measure the space was prompt, extremely competent, and gave us solid advice. When the installers came to work, they showed up on time, stayed late, and did a beautiful job matching up the veins in the different pieces that were joined together. Unfortunately, we found a defect in the island (ripples in one area that cause an uneven area near one seam). When we discussed this with Sydney, she immediately sent a crew out to look at it. To make a long story short, the countertop needed to go back to the shop to see if it could be remedied, and, through the entire sequence of events, EVERY person that was involved did everything in their power to make the issue right, offering several options, including choosing new slabs if we wanted to. I am happy to report, the crews worked tirelessly to give us the counters we originally wanted with major improvements. In addition, they offered us a discount after all was said and done. If you are looking for an extensive selection of granite, quartzite, marble, and quartz products (and more!), GREAT service, and reasonable prices, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!

Buyer Beware Scheme going on with the (Store Management) at the Granite Store 1620 South Irby Street, Florence, SC My sister, brother-n-law and I visited the Granite Store and picked out a very nice Granite in May 2021. Our selected Granite was picked out and we went ahead then to picked out the backsplash from another store for a complete color scheme for our home. The bathrooms were installed okay; not the best installations grading the install as a B – C at best; two months later and when it was time to install the granite in our kitchen; no one informed us they no longer had the same selected granite for our kitchen. Without a telephone call to me at all; even though she had my cell phone number; the Store Management took it upon themselves to pick a different granite for our kitchen installed which didn’t match what we had already picked out for the backsplash in our kitchen. They sell you what’s in the store showroom. When it comes down to your actual installation and you think everything is fine; they installed what they have as a substitute of an unknown selection for our kitchen installation and made the decision to select our granite without hesitation. Not being on site at the time of the installation; we learned later that day what had happened. We’re the customer who’s paying and was not given the opportunity of making a new selection of the granite for our home. Store Management made this selection based on their opinion as to what they had in stock and not that of the homeowner of what will be the closet selection, bearing our color scheme in our home. At the end and without letting me speak directly to the store owner; the Manager mentioned we had no other choice other than to pick a new granite for installation and pay again for what was their error when we never agreed on their granite selection. Every consumer should be aware of this horrible installation which has been a bad experience for us knowing they make decisions for their bottom line to get consumers to pay again when they make the decision for covering up their mistake. Their full interest is about making money and have very little interest of any efforts of providing customer services at all!

I do LOT of remodels. I will say categorically that this is a great place to shop and have your counters done! I used them for my own home's kitchen counters, replacing our old granite tile with new solid granite for a HUGE improvement. Great quality and workmanship. pleasant and helpful installers and staff, good prices!

i am Sheila Harrelson of South Carolina and purchased a home here in South Carolina and purchased new kitchen cabinets. Of course after the cabinets I needed a counter top! I will be quite honest with you. My husband and I went EVERYWHERE shopping and looking for the perfect slab. We even went to the beach to find that slab and a half that was needed! During the entire time of shopping everywhere I would keep checking at the Granite Store. Ms. Kathy and Sydney were by far the friendliest of ALL the places we went to. These two ladies are very knowledgeable about their products, about the industry, their professionalism says so much about this company and themselves as well. There was NOT anyone else in the same field that myself nor my husband felt better about or with. I would STRONGLY suggest to anyone looking for counter tops to go and shop with Ms. Kathy or Sydney at the Granite Store, you can not be in better hands than these two women! Go see them for any of your counter top needs, you will not be disappointed! Hands down…. They are the best~!!!!

I just had some amazingly beautiful blue ice granite installed. My counters were installed in about 2 weeks after I picked out my stone. Kathy was very patient with me after multiple stone changes on my part before I made my final decision. I didnt feel like my island piece matched my sink piece and they sent someone to replace it in a matter of days to make sure I was 100% happy. They stand by their word to make sure their customers are 100% satisfied.
