I was disappointed initially, especially given all the positive reviews. While the price was reasonable, the finished product had some issues. The edges of the counters were dull and not polished properly. Despite clear instructions, they installed the sink in the wrong orientation. The holes for one of our faucets were drilled incorrectly, even though we provided the faucets during installation. They broke a piece of the counter and failed to inform us. They scuffed the surface of our brand-new cabinets but they did offer to send out a professional to repair them. They ended up going above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied in the end.

Just had our Granite from The Granite Guy installed. Gary, searched high and low for the perfect piece and knocked my wife's sucks off. From measuring to install it was a two week turn around. My wife talked often with, Chrissy helping us through the process and she was great to work with. The install crew were very professional, kind, clean, and thorough. If you're looking for an honest granite company who genuinely care for their clients, then look no further... Ask for Gary and tell him Nate and Christen sent you!

The Granite Guy did amazing work for us. Their price was 45% less than a competitor’s quote. Chad, the salesman, and Toney, the fabricator, were instrumental in getting the work completed. Kudos to you both!!

We recently had our kitchen renovation for the first time in 30 years. My designer, Sherri H. suggested we drive to Columbus and visit the Granite Guy. She and her husband had just purchased their quartzite from them and was very pleased with their stone. Brad, greeted us warmly and showed us their stunning stones. He allowed us to take our time - with no rushing and answering all our questions. The professional manner in which we were treated was outstanding. We went back several times to look at the stone to match other elements of the design. Brad was the best - going out of his way to do what he can for us. Their team made the installation (Cain's truck) Anthony, Gavin and David flawless. The guys took their time in the fabrication. Needless to say, the stone makes our kitchen look like a gemstone! Will we use The Granite Guy again? Hands down YES!! We highly recommend them to all our friends.

Fantastic experience. The Granite Guy is awesome. We would never work with anyone else again, and have referred our friends and relatives to them, too (the best compliment you can give). We worked with Chad Schirtzinger (sales), Chrissy Boasetti (sales manager), and Toney Curry (fabrication + installation manager). All were consistently knowledgeable, very professional, fair, reasonable, and genuinely pleasant to work with. The Granite Guy has a large selection, and they were willing to work with us on finding other slabs if needed. They also have a huge room full of remnants they can fabricate for smaller jobs, too. Our install was large and challenging - 3 big slabs of matching Quartzite, including an enormous island and a full backsplash up the wall behind the stove. Carrying the big island slab inside took 8 strong men, and we held our breath the whole time. There were a few minor hiccups (inevitable with a job this large), which they fixed promptly and without hesitation. We made a number of changes during the design and slab selection - they handled our ideas and frequent changes with grace. The best part - their price was fair, and the result is gorgeous. They were probably 1/3 less expensive than another well-known granite fabricator in Columbus. Quartzite ain't cheap (2.5-3x the cost of granite), but their price was entirely fair and reasonable for what we got. We highly, highly, highly, highly, highly recommend The Granite Guy. I cannot say this strongly enough. The customer experience was excellent, the price was entirely fair, the people are expert and very nice, and the installed product is exactly what we wanted. This transformed our home. Check out our pix - after the renovation, no one ever comes into our kitchen and doesn't "ooh" and "aah" at the gorgeous hard surfaces... The Granite Guy is a first class company with first class people who were a pleasure to work with. 10,000% satisfied.

I highly recommend The Granite Guy for our countertops on the kitchen remodel we did with The Cabinet Guys. After many visits to the warehouse, we finally settled on a couple of gorgeous granite slabs. I really appreciated how The Granite Guy simplified the pricing. It made understanding our costs much easier as we evaluated options. We picked out the slabs we wanted and were able to specify what area of a slab we wanted to be for the large island that is the centerpiece of our kitchen. Chad was very helpful with some guidance for additional bracing that I needed to incorporate into the island to support the slab, and the installers did a fantastic job. We were also able to utilize a piece of the same granite behind our range hood and are very happy with the look! I highly recommend The Granite Guy for quality materials, workmanship and straight forward, competitive pricing.

Was referred to The Granite Guy by Alter Kraft Interior Renovations for counter tops. Great experience from beginning to end. No pushy sales. I selected the slab, paid the deposit, measurements and installation was scheduled at that time. Both appointments were on time. I would suggest for anyone to be there at time of measurements. Any questions you have or details you want will be covered at the measurement appointment. When the install crew showed up they were on time, clean, professional and went right to work. They were considerate of their surroundings and even put down floor coverings. You can tell a lot of time and attention has been out into their process and all communicate well through the stages. By the time the installers got there they had so much detailed info they almost didn’t even need me there. I will be back when we are finishing our other 2 bathrooms, I will also be referring my clients to the Granite Guy who are building outdoor kitchens and have counter top needs. Thanks!

I worked for the granite guy for 3 years before deciding to start my own business. I just wanted to take a second to tell everyone about my experience with them for those 3 years. The employees all took great pride in the business and saw to it that every job left the building with great quality and accuracy. I had been in the granite industry for 14 years before starting with Gary (the owner of the granite guy) and his company by far exceeded the quality of work that the previous company that I worked for put out. If you are looking for a quality stone and a great team to work with, look no further. The granite guy will always be the best company I have worked for. It's hard to find a company that take such pride in their work these days. These are a few of the fun projects that I worked on.

Went to The Granite Guy for countertops for our new build and were VERY impressed with their work and their people. We had a very big island piece and they handled it with ease. Great communication and the attention to detail was first rate. We had them do multiple sizes and types in six different rooms and we were satisfied with everything they did. Highly recommend Gary and his staff. If I could give 10 stars I would! Reach out if you have any questions.

I had an incredible and very personalized experience with The Granite Guy! Sales manager, Chrissy Bossetti, was extremely patient, knowledgeable and accommodating as I worked with her and my truly talented interior designer, Brenda Barrett, on updating my kitchen. Even though I had a limited budget and some strict requirements, they were able to provide me with some beautiful quartzite choices. I then had a terrific experience with the install team of Kane, David, Gavin, and Jesse as the lead install manager . They were timely, courteous, responsive and helpful during the install and follow up appointments. While there were two small issues, Chrissy, Jesse and the team worked diligently to ensure it was properly fixed in an efficient manner. Truly love my updated kitchen and happy to share this with all considering new countertops! THANK YOU for the amazing customer experience and support!!!!

Went to location and met Brad. Great to work with. We picked out a quartz slab and went to his office to work out details. He always returned my calls promptly and answered all my questions. Jason came out and measured and everything and it came out perfect when installed. Anthony gave call ahead and the guys arrived in the timeframe. Anthony, Jeremy and Nick was great to work with. They did a fantastic job. Anthony took time to give me information on care and answered all my questions. I am very happy with my new counter tops! Thanks guys! I will recommend you!

I would give The Granite Guy 10 stars if Yelp would let me... We had a fantastic experience, and would never - ever - work with anyone else again. We've even referred friends + relatives to them (high praise). Our salesman Chad Schirtzinger, his sales manager Chrissy Boasetti, and their fabrication + installation manager Toney Curry were all wonderful to work with - knowledgeable, professional, fair, reasonable, and genuinely nice. They have a big selection of slabs, and a huge room of remnants they can fabricate for smaller jobs, too. We weren't planning to, but found a rem to upgrade the countertop in a half-bath, too. This install was big and challenging - it took 3 huge slabs of matching Quartzite for a giant island and a full-height wall backsplash behind the stove. It took 8 strong men to carry and set the big island slab - I promise we were holding our breath the whole time they were carrying it in. There were a few small hiccups - that's going to happen with a big and complicated job like this. They fixed everything to our satisfaction - no hesitation, no complaints, no problem - they consistently "did the right thing" (which is refreshing and somewhat unusual these days). We kept changing our minds in the design process, and they handled our ideas and frequent changes with expert guidance, kindness and grace. AND... because hard surfaces aren't cheap, and Quartzite is quite expensive (2.5x-3x the cost of granite) - their prices were fair, fair, fair. They were fully 1/3 cheaper than another well-known granite fabricator I've spent a LOT of money with in the past (and never will again). The Granite Guy's prices were fair and reasonable for what we got. I cannot say this strongly enough - we recommend The Granite Guy 100%. 1,000%. 10,000%. Our customer experience with them was awesome and what you'd hope for, their prices were fair, the people are awesome, and we got exactly what we wanted at a price that didn't feel like we were being ripped off (if I show you the quote we got from "those other guys", you'll understand what I mean). This project transformed our kitchen, and our entire home. I've attached pix - check them out. Everyone loves our kitchen now. Thank you, The Granite Guy - you're a classy company full of classy people who understand customer service for a big, scary, expensive project. We loved working with your team, and love the results every time we walk into our kitchen...!!!

We were looking for a new bathroom counter and truly wanted a step up from the cultured marble. However, we were on a budget that needed to be honored. We met with Chrissy B. She helped us with the remnant pieces which worked perfectly!! I love that she listened to us on color, style and price. We never felt like a lesser buyer because we chose remnant. The installers were professional and respectful. Thank you for a great experience.

When we started explore an upgrade/remodel our kitchen, we started out looking for someone who could do the countertops. We came across The Granite Guy in Worthington and were impressed by the consistent number of very favorable reviews. We had visited 3 or 4 places we visited beforehand and we were very impressed when we walked into their facility. Gary (the owner) and Corey were a great help in helping us understand the various options and walked us through their warehouse were we could see all the different potential options they had in inventory and told us that we could look at any distributor's inventory to see what we would like. We left with the awareness that they were the ones we wanted to work with. Two or three visits to other stores solidified our decision to work with Gary and The Granite Guy. When we returned, our second impression was as favorable as the first. At our request, Gary agreed to come to our house to see firsthand what we had in mind. It was then we learned that he also could do kitchen designs. When we asked for his thoughts, he provided a number of options, from minor to major. One of the suggestions he made including removing a wall between our existing kitchen and dining room, something we had not considered (and are we so glad he made that suggestion). We ended up using his design and had them layout the rest of the kitchen. We then found out Gary also owns a business called The Cabinet Guy (in the same location), see our separate review on that business, but - spoiler alert - it was equally as good. Gary worked with us, and the contractor (Premier Remodeling, who Gary suggested we consider) to create an incredible kitchen with high end counters and cabinets, all within our budget. We could not have asked for a better team. We chose a countertop that had a pattern which was a challenge to match pieces. Gary's team did an incredible job! They used one solid piece whenever they could, even though that created more "leftover" pieces of Quartzite for them. Where they had to use more than one piece, they did an amazing job of matching the patterns to each other. Each and every one of Gary's team were great to work with and we have nothing but compliments on them and their work. We TOTALLY recommend Gary and his team, The Granite Guy (and the Cabinet Guy) earned our thanks and admiration.

Okay so Home renovation is not exactly at the top of my most fun experiences list. Contractors, inspections, delays, etc and every step requiring a leap of faith that I am not being bilked for money or taken advantage of. Right in the middle of this perplexing maze is a beacon of light. I LOVE the Granite Guy. Could not have had a better experience with them from start to finish. They educated us about the rocks, even special ordered what we professed to want, never batted an eye when we picked something else after they got our first choice in for us. Came out and measured, helped us problem solve when our contractor made a potentially expensive error that could have ruined the look of our kitchen. When I say problem solve, I mean the owner himself called, came out to the house, showed us EXACTLY what had happened, met with the contractor with us and came up with a solution that held the contractor responsible and get ready, cost us....NOTHING, not a single penny. The problem was fixed, quickly, and to say my kitchen is gorgeous really doesn't begin to cover it. They checked and double checked to make sure the installation was solid, the counters were right and we know how to care for them. Everyone we have interacted with was lovely, kind, helpful, professional! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Having met the owner directly, I can tell you these characteristics start at the top and wind throughout the company!

Granite Guy! Wife and I recently purchased the house and were looking to replace old laminates to trendy granite. We shopped around a lot and spoke to almost every other fabricator and got quotes from many. I did quite a bit of research on granite, went to sources where they are sold in wholesale, researched where they were imported from, finish, quality, rating, density and so on. We walked in with that information at every other place and we are lucky that we did so at Granite Guy and even more so because we got the owner, Gary as sales person. He had accurate answers to every single question we had no matter how stupid. Dude just worked with us on every step of the way, Wife and I changed our minds on the slabs we had picked out twice and even though we ended up with a little bit expensive slab, he did not increase the price on the original quote he had given. He even suggested and let me pick out a different smaller cutout(remnant) for our half bath for a considerable price, (very good deal as I picked this Leathered Granite which looks and feels amazing). Two reasons we picked Granite Guy over other competitors, they were quick and got dates for install within 2 weeks as well as their ability/willingness to work with us even when we changed our minds on slabs or the need for bigger island or when we decided we wanted undermount vs. drop in for the sink. Installation process was straightforward and was completed well within time, they even helped understand Dos and Don't s and how to care for granite. This is a competitive business and those who are in process will certainly notice it based on the quotes received, but we are glad to say we chose the right team.

We were very impressed with The Granite Guy from selecting the quartz countertop to template to install. We had to reschedule the template twice because of back ordered cabinets and they were very flexible and accommodating. The template was done perfectly and he even had to adjust the design due to our cabinet installer not shiming correctly. But we got cabinets installed correctly after and the countertop fit just right! Everyone was professional and they always showed up on time. We are very happy with how the countertop looks and will recommend The Granite Guy.

I found the granite guy posting from Craigs list. I was very skeptical on purchasing granite from Criags list. I sent him email just to get an estimate since it says email your drawing and you will get an estimate through email. Sent me a lot of information and was very impressed. The guy seems to be very hard working and I was getting his emails around 11:30 PM which says the guy must be busy during day time. I stopped by in about three weeks to his show room. He was not pushy at all and answered all my questions. He gave me a quote and piece of granite I chosen to see how it looks in my kitchen. The price is much lower than his competitors by over $1,500. I do business and know some people in the cabinet industry, but I could not find anybody who can says anything bad about him. To make long story short, I ended up buying my granite from him and we are very happy with the work they did. Here is what is good about them: His price is extremely low. It is much lower than anywhere else. My wife has been everywhere and none of them were close to his price. Scheduling an appointment was within two weeks and showed up on time. Our island order was not in and they told us to finish that once the island came in. When we called back around 4 pm, all the installers were busy on another job. The owner and the manager came themselves around 8:30 PM to finish the job. That is what I call an excellent customer service. It has been a while since I have seen this kind of service and now I am finally realizing that I don't have to deal with lowes and home depot headache any more. Walter, who measured our kitchen, was extremely professional and considerate. We have three young kids and he recommended the round age in the island corner. We knew about that but some how did not think of it. It was very nice of it and we would have regreat it later on. Installation was very professional. They covered our woodfloor with some cloth and even adjusted our dishwasher that was installed by Lowes people correctly. They did not have to do that and we were very impressed and those little things like that that takes customer satisfaction to the next level. THE SEEMS are amazing. I could not find one of them until my wife showed me where it is. My cabinet guy was very impressed by it too. He even said that he is going to contact them and see if he can work with them. I am sure you know by now how satisfied we are. I don't usually write reviews, but these guys deserve more than that. We are so happy and we are working hard to find them some clients. That is the best you can do for someone who does a good job. Also, we want others to beniefit from it as well. BTW, I am a licensed real estate agent in the state of Ohio and I am sure I can find them at least a couple deals for sure. I have seen a lot of jobs in granite and this one rates one of the top. You can never go wrong with these guys and please don't waste your time going around places. Check this guy out and may be a couple more and you will see what I mean. Job well done, Bob!! Thank you for making it so easy and giving our kitchen some life to it. Jared

Don't know what's going on with the company. Dan who worked there and ran the website that lists the company phone number no longer works there. I called and left a message that I needed to reschedule the measuring of the template. Never heard back until the night before when the installer called to verify the date. It was then that I found out about Dan giving his 2 week notice. So anybody calling 614-556-5666 and leaving voice-mails you are wasting your time if you are waiting for a call back. He said he would let Heather know to call me to reschedule. After 2 days I found another number for the office through e-hard hat 866-854-9047. I called and got through and was able to reschedule. I asked about the website and was told they were trying to outsource that. Well that was last week and today I tried calling to reschedule again but this time that number is now no longer in service. Do I need to hop in my car and drive there to see if the company is still open? Is my slab of granite till there? Is this anyway to run a business? Do I need to start looking elsewhere? UPDATE: I used the on-line form on the web-site to request a reschedule and got a call back this morning from Angel. The company phone number is still good and she thinks that the problem is with my phone carrier T-Mobile. Anyway - all is good and I have a direct e-mail for her so I can communicate if needed. Bless! I will update again after the completion of my install. I am so excited!

Sales and Installation was pretty smooth but I think our counters were not sealed properly. We left a dish soap bottle sit on our counter and discovered it had caused a stain that was very noticeable and the install guys did try but were not able to remove any of the stain. A month or so later we spilled a drink and clean it up with in an hour but it was too late. It had already left stains on the stone, we were then told that the stone has large pores and stains easily. The install guys came back out and added more sealant to the counters. Since then it seems like things are easier to remove without it staining, small drips etc that I may have missed when initially cleaning up after a meal. We explained that we were not advised how easy this particular stone could stain during the selection process, only that the stone was one of the hardest. So, we have $6000 counters with a soap and drink stain with in the first six months. This was our fist time installing natural stone, we now know to do more research before deciding and going with a little more durable stone.

Do not recommend. Sales rep Brad treated us as if we were a waste of time wanting a quote for 45sf. We left our information for him to provide a quote, and he never got back to us. We went down the street to Distinctive and got great service.

We tried to purchase a countertop from The Granite Guy. My designer had been working with Jarred and when I called to question pricing over a week ago, I never got a call back. I still have yet to receive a call back. I know GG does good work, but I will never use them or recommend them because they cannot even return a phone call to a buyer.

From the moment we walked into their store, it was clear that customer service was not their priority but we kept working with them thinking it was a fluke, how could they have so many good reviews and really treat us his horribly? Sadly, it only got worse. In the warehouse and office, good luck ever finding someone to actually help you. Everytime I went people seemed too busy to work with us. There was always even more customers waiting around to be helped. W When I scheduled a time for them to come measure, no one showed up. I had to call three times and speak to three different people until I got the appointment rescheduled. No one ever called me back! Not only did I take off work for that appointment, but no one even apologized for the inconvenience or hassle. When they came to install the granite, the installers hardly knew what they were talking about. They didn't bring the remenant I asked for and only after two calls to the office (and some major complaining on my part) was I told I could drive up there and pick it up. Even though it was their mistake. Now I just looked at my bill and I've been charged $100 more than I was quoted and more than the installers bill said. Not looking forward to trying to call the office another three times to get thus taken care of. I don't know if something has recently happened, but I had little to no good experiences with this company. Employees did not go out of their way to do anything that made us want to recommend this company to anyone else.

I am disappointed in the service that I have received. In Feb'20 I had them seal the granite in our kitchen and prepaid for the service. A crew of 2 came out and completed the work very quickly, I asked them numerous questions regarding the time to dry, after care, etc. They were not confident in the their vague answers, that concerned me. After they left I realized that the seam had not been filled and sealed as they had to told me it would be. I called and the lady had them return and to fix it. The seam looked passable. The material started to come out of the seam and was turning colors during the pandemic. I called last week to explain the situation, Renee told me to send her photos and she would check with the supervisor for scheduling a crew to come back out. I was pleased to hear that the problem would be rectified. Next, I received an email asking if we had purchased the granite from them or if they had installed it. I told her we had purchased the home with the granite already there. I was then told that they only service granite purchased and installed by them. I again explained that they had been here and done the sealing. Renee told me that they may have been slow at that time and they sent someone out but that they do not provide that service. Clearly, they do not warranty their work. I would suggest you find another company to handle your granite needs. This was an expensive lesson!

My wife and I were searching for a reputable company to install granite countertops for our kitchen. We visited The Granite Guy on Saturday June 8th and dealt with sales rep Chrissy Bossetti. At first she seemed eager to help and gave us a selection sheet to mark down the names of the granite that we liked (from their showroom). We returned the sheet to her and gave her a drawing and estimate as to the dimensions that we would need for the granite we were looking to have installed. We did this because she said she would be able to give some sort of estimate for the job. A few minutes later her tune changed as she asked for me to go home and email her the dimensions and she would then reply with estimates for the samples we selected. I emailed her on Tuesday June 11th. As of today Sunday June 16th we have not received a return email or phone call from anyone at The Granite Guy. If you want quality customer service and a reply then I would not recommend these people. The one star is because Yelp makes you select a rating in order to post a review.

Horrible experience overall - A bunch of lies and bad customer service. initially I went in and spoke to the sales rep Jerred about getting some countertops installed. He seemed very helpful at first. Found me what I wanted and quoted me on 60 sq ft being $4,652 includes installation, them taking away my current counters, a new sink included, them installing/ hooking up my new faucet I had to buy, and hooking my water and garbage disposal back up when they were finished. They came out and measured my counters and it ended up being 52 sq ft which is big difference when you are talking about price. 8 sq feet comes out to about $600. When I called to get a re quote since the sq ft was lower, they told me that's not how they work and the cost is the same which makes zero sense to me. The sales rep got an attitude with me and had the owner call me to try to explain everything. After awhile, they finally gave me a little bit of a discount since it was so much less square footage. Lie #1 - They took my deposit of $3,000 and never once told me it was non refundable until after the square footage came in less and I was going to shop elsewhere. Lie #2 - They lied about them hooking up the new faucet they said they would install. They said the only thing I had to buy was a new faucet and they would hook it up. That's not true. Lie #3 - They unhooked my dishwasher, garbage disposal, water, etc under my sink. When they finished installing the counters, I asked if they were going to hook this stuff back up and they said nope, we don't do that. Customer service fail #1 - The installation guys seemed to want to just do a quick get in and get out job. They initially came in and put the granite on and said they couldn't install it because I had to re set and re level all my cabinets which needed to be done by a contractor. I was told they would be able to take care of that initially (another lie). So I had to hire someone to come out and take apart the cabinets and re set them all before they came back out to install my counters. Customer service fail #2 - I have left Voicemails, sent emails, and talked to the front receptionist about having Jerred call me back in the past 24 hours. He went MIA on me. Won't even respond to my calls or emails. It's like they don't even care - the job is finished and they are done with you. I will not recommend these guys to anyone !! Not a happy customer
