We looked around alot for countertops for our cottage remodel. Pricing meant to alot to us, as well as customer service, since our cottage is over an hour away from Green Bay. Everyone went out of their way to explain the process to us. The Granite Co. team worked with our contractors to make sure everything was perfect. I can not recommend Matt, Shane, and Jamie and their team enough. They were fabulous!

Great experience! We did not want to replace our counters, we had to due to an issue with our current counters, and we are so glad we went with the Granite Company. They met us on a Saturday while they were closed to look at samples. They were up front and honest about pricing and were very helpful. On the day of install, unfortunately one of the pieces had a flaw in it. The installers notified us right away and said they were going to take it back. We were so happy to know they had integrity to do the right thing and we could trust them. At first they weren't going to be able to make it back for 3 business days, but they made us a priority and came back the same day to get things done right. This was a huge deal for us because the piece with the error held the sink. I should add that we also live 25 miles away, so they weren't just running up and down the street. Overall, such a great experience. I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for counters!

Rude employees. Maybe work on customer service and train the employees so they don’t keep trying to passing the buck on to another employee. Also it took a while for them to even acknowledge me even though there was at least 2 ladies in the back.

Our experience with The Granite Company was great from start to finish. The selections were plentiful, almost too many for us, and David was wonderful in helping us narrow it down to the final one. We also really appreciate that all fabrication is done in-house (actually got a mini tour of their operation!). The installers are employees, not subcontracted, and they were very professional, friendly, and conscientious of our home. We looked at other countertop stores in the area and found this store to have the largest selection, all work done on-site, and most affordable prices. We would highly recommend them to everyone!!

The Black quartz we purchased had 4 paddle marks that showed on the new countertop due to transferring the heavy quartz. We called the manager and he gave us options. We had the choice to take money off or get a new Countertop. After thinking seriously about the best option we decided to wait for a new one. It was a long process but it was worth the wait....
Shane was the Manager who helped us along this process. He was always kind considerate and wanting to make sure we the customer would be happy with the end product!
Thanks to Shane and his Crew they Made it Right.!!! We greatly appreciate his professional attitude and all he did.

the sales rep was nice, however the final product was not. we took time off work to go plan the layout on the granite before it was cut to avoid certain areas on it. we loved how we had it layed out with our sales rep on the stone. when the guys were trying to instal it, the stones werent cut the correct size, the guys had a hard time lifting the one and scuffed my newly painted wall up. and then when they finaly got the stone on to some what fit. they were cut wrong and the one part i hated on the stone that we made sure, when we we took work off to go do the layout. is the one part the cut in the biggest spot you see the most. they didnt cut any of the layout we did. i called the store the next day, and they ran into an issue when cutting so they changed our layout, without calling or telling us first. and it wasnt smoothed and sealed properly so there is a lot of cracks and sharp edges, it snaged my shirt. they were only willing to take $400.00 off for there mistake and send someone out in the next week to fix the cracks and sharp spots that was suppost to be done before they sent it for installation. im not happy at all and now im stuck paying a lot of money still for counter i dont like because of there mistake. i should of went to Bayland granite like everyone told me to. im so upset and now i have to look at this for the rest of my life and hate it, when i should love it! i would not recomend them until they can learn to communicate to the customers before they go and make a huge mistake like this, because the customer is the one qho suffers. they still get there money so they dont care. im out all my money and stuck now with counters i hate. yes they did apologise twice for there mistake and said they are learning from it. well yippi for me, glade you can learn on my time and on my dime. but again our salse rep she was super nice so at least they have that going for them, and the two poor guys that had to install the counters i feel horrible for them, they got handed a crap shoot.

We are currently redoing our master bathroom at my family's home. So far in this one week & 3+ visits, they've not only sold our first slab that we chose and had held, but the 2nd one that was on hold for us as well. We went this morning to pay for the 2nd slab (well within the 1 week hold time, we had told them we just needed the measurements from HJ Martin) to find out again they had sold our slab! The disorganization at this company is appalling and now we're forced again for the 3rd time, to hope a slab comes in similar to the first 2 they've sold under us, or delay our project or have to pay a plumber twice. I've never had something sold underneath us that we had held and were going to make a downpayment on. They never apologize or made good on their constant mistake and honestly we're tempted to move on because we don't trust that they'll sell a slab we do pay for. I would not recommend this company and instead, go with a different company.

I purchased a quartz countertop from The Granite Company approximately four years ago.
Soon after the installation I noticed the difficulty in maintaining a stain-free countertop. Coffee and some fruit juiceswere difficult to clean off the quartz countertop. I was told no routine protective applications were needed. I have struggled to keep my counters stain-free. In my frustration I turned to the company for additional advice on care, only to get a referral back to the initial care sheet for the countertop. If I were to do a new countertop again I would not purchase a quartz countertop.
With regard to customer service, I would have to say The Granite Company was good in that they responded quickly to my email.

Great selection of Quartz. However, Jamie did our templating twice and both times it was wrong - which caused delays. Be sure to ask for Rob - he's excellent. The first installation crew took out all the top drawers in the kitchen. I asked if I needed to put something over the items in the next drawers and shelves. I was told NO - which led me to believe they were going to cover things. That never happened and I had construction mess all over everything. Be sure to ask for Kevin and his crew for installation. He installed the backsplashes. He is a perfectionist and will not consider a job finished until everything is the way it should be and the way it should look. After several delays due to The Granite Company errors, we have beautiful kitchen. We saw the good and the bad of the company.

Tons of selection and helpful staff. If I would recommend a change it would be to somehow mark the sold and on hold slabs on display as we fell in love with many that turned out to be Not available. However we did find a granite slab we had to have and it was available.
Installation went smoothly and the result is spectacular. I wish there is a way to post pictures of the result.

According to the results of our independent research, The Granite Co from Green Bay, WI quoted a turnaround time of 63 business days for the fabrication and installation of a stone countertop. Acting as a mystery shopper, our analyst contacted the company with a request to produce and install a 83.4 sq. ft. stone countertop. A company representative stated that the project could be fully completed in 63 business days, which allowed us to classify the company as one with a long turnaround time.
It’s important to note that the timeframe provided to our mystery shopper may differ from what you’ll be quoted, as turnaround time depends on many factors — including the complexity of the project, the material selected, and the company’s current workload. After a phone conversation, our mystery shopper sent a quote request to the company representative, based on a completed 83.4-square-foot countertop project, and received a detailed estimate for the fabrication and installation. This turnaround time allowed us to classify the company in the category with a very slow quote preparation speed.
Please note that estimate preparation times may vary depending on the company’s current workload, the complexity of your project, and the selected material. We recommend submitting a request, calling, or messaging the company through our website to receive a personalized quote and clarify the current turnaround time.
Does The Granite Co offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, The Granite Co performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does The Granite Co provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, The Granite Co, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact The Granite Co in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
