My experience was rather poor. I had ~1000 sq ft floor replaced with engineered hardwood. Initial stages went well. It was easy to place an order, work started on time. Material (inexpensive store brand) has much more imperfections than the store sample, but I don’t blame the store. It turned out that I was sold an excess of more expensive floor boards, and not enough of baseboards, etc. The store manager asked my to pay for work, and promised to correct in no time. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case, and … it is not fun to live with obvious defects, and to have repeated emails ignored.

Diana who was the sales representative was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She was very helpful in the carpet selection process and let me take home several samples to try in my home before making the purchase. After the sale, she was very responsive to texts and phone calls as I had several follow up questions. The installers arrived on time as scheduled. They were hard working and very respectful of my home. They finished the job in one day when it was thought to be a possible 1-2 day job. The carpeting looks great. The cost was more than what I originally planned to spend but the carpeting is high quality and I think will last for years. Overall, a very positive experience. I have recommended them to a neighbor who is in need of new flooring.

The purchase, measurement, and installation of bamboo flooring for our downstairs and stair steps to the main floor were absolutely perfect in all respects. Working with Mark Leslie to make the purchase and the two-person team that did the installation was a pure pleasure. The install guys were absolutely terrific!! So competent, so professional, so thorough, and so much attention to detail. There were A++++, 12 out of 10! We could not be more pleased with the whole process and the final product!

I went to the Sunnyvale showroom and I was amazed with the customer service. Mark, Avery, and Diana all helped him. I will be back to buy carpet. They may not be the least expensive in town but they’re totally worth it! Ask for any of them and you won’t be disappointed.

Diana Cabrera, store manager, has very poor customer service skills. I walked in today looking for a recommendation on carpet that would work best for a senior dog. I was the only customer in the store. Diana showed me a couple of sections without adding much detail and then with great joy went to help another couple. With this couple she went through serval areas, smiling and being very pleasant; complete opposite of my encounter. I browsed a little and came across an entire section with signs showing best for dogs. I interrupted Diana’s love affair with the couple who came in after me, to ask about the dog friendly carpet, her reply was, “I was going to show you that.” When were you going to show me, Diana, after helping the folks who came in after me?

Unfortunately their promise of excellent customer service falls short of reality. From the beginning of my experience, I was weary because my invoice came with no pricing details, and when I called another location to verify, I was treated very rudely. I wrote a review of my experience and was contacted right away in an effort to make things right. So I removed my review and decided to give it another shot, giving them the benefit of doubt. I worked with Diana the store manager, to purchase flooring for my kitchen. We completed the floor installation on our own and upon completion we discovered we needed a transition strip. So I called and spoke with Diana, relying on their flooring expertise and asked for her support in ordering a transition strip. She informed me that they no longer carry that flooring and I would have to pay for the shipping costs. Knowing this was the final piece needed to complete my floor, I willing agreed. After providing them with my payment information, I was informed that I would receive a call back to provide me with the shipping details. I never received a call back; I only received a receipt with no description of what was ordered, just the dollar amount of $207…For ONLY two pieces! When we went to install, I found out that she sent the WRONG ITEM!! We received end-caps instead of transition strips. I called her to let her know and requested an exchange. I was then told there is no exchange and that there was nothing they could do; only offer a $50 credit towards my next purchase to correct her error!! I’m disappointed in my experience working with this company and wish I would have selected a company with more knowledge and better customer service. Working with them has felt like working with a used car salesman, only caring about the sale and not the customer.

I had an urgent need to put flooring into a single bedroom. We just moved in to a new place and the floors had to be redone and so we had a time crunch. We also needed to match a particular set of original floors in the rest of the house. We actually went to a few places and had zero luck but the Floor Store on El Camino was awesome. They had the brand of floors we loved in our last home, they had them in stock, and they even let folks take the sample panels home to check against the floors. I'm not sure if that's normal but I was pleasantly surprised. Needless to say, we were able to get the floors we needed within a couple days and had our contractor put them in. Diana was amazing and so helpful. She helped us every step of the way and broke down the process. We'll be back!

The floor store Sunnyvale helped to get my carpet installed on time and it was very neatly done as per schedule and great quality. My special thanks Diana store manager for being very proactive from Day1 of our visit to the showroom, she is very responsive on text and call for any questions. She provided complete support by helping us overcome all hurdles in the mid way and installed the carpet exactly on time she promised even though ours was a very short timeline and within our budget. Diana who is the sales representative did a remarkable job in keeping up with me during the sales process and during the floor replacement. She made certain I wasn’t feeling overwhelmed with the project. I would highly recommend her to future clients who are considering replacing their floors. She was thorough with her client relationship reassuring the customer is well cared for during and after the floors were completed. The installer, Kevin, went far and beyond in reassuring the installation process was done properly. He assessed each room to make sure floors are leveled before installing the floors. He was very detailed about the work and made sure I was content with the final outcome.
