We have always had laminate countertops but wanted an under mount sink. We found that it wasn’t much more for quartz with an under mount so we took a chance. Not only did Countertop Shop get it right the first time (with all the cutouts) but everyone from sales to installers were sooo friendly and kind —- and they cared about our concerns and our situation. I couldn’t expect more! Thank you, Countertop Shop! We love you guys! We have appreciated your work and the beauty of the quartz so much that we have decided against doing a tile backsplash and instead are going to put in a quartz backsplash! Can’t wait to see the final product.

Sales and installation staff are always helpful and courteous! We have always gone to them as our first stop for all of our renovations for any of our countertop needs! Our last two projects just this past year had taken advantage of their remnant pieces available. Our most current project, we wanted to update our dining room buffet cabinet by removing the glass front hutch above and replacing the top with a quartz countertop. They had a remnant piece on hand to exactly match our kitchen countertop. The turn around time from start to finish was very quick and timely! It turned out beautiful! Thank you and we will recommend to anyone to stop by to talk to their staff and see their showroom!

Tom and Corey installed my new countertops today. They were efficient, professional, pleasant to have in my home, and patient with me and my many questions about the process of their work. The countertops--five pieces--all fit perfectly after Yoshio's precision templating, and Tom's joint between two large pieces is already invisible. The company has outstanding assets in these three employees; and I was impressed with the fabrication speed. I don't plan to buy new counters again any time soon, but I definitely know from where I will purchase them.

The sales staff was very helpful in helping to make a decision on what was the right type of counter material was right for our application. The measuring and layout personnel listened to what I specified I wanted as to finished size and made sure that was meet . The cut and finish crew did an outstanding job . The installation manager worked with me even with delays on my end due to construction delays. The installation crew was very friendly , very professional and knowledgeable , answered any questions I had , and did a fabulous installation job . Overall I would recommend the countertop shop to anyone that likes quality materials and quality service.

Our experience with the Countertop Shop was excellent! Jim Shuster was so helpful in his guidance with not only choosing a counter but also arranging for the removable of the old counter. He also made useful suggestions for an undermount sink. Additionally, it was helpful to be able to take the sample home. We are very pleased with the results!

The installers did a great job. I was so worried about them. The larger top was really heavy and they called for some extra help. They had to carry it to the basement. I hope they have great health insurance. They definitely don't get paid enough.the counter tops were beautiful.

I had a wonderful experience with the Countertop Shop. They had installed an outdoor bar and sink area for us 13 years ago and a piece of the granite cracked over the winter. They fixed it to where if you didn't know there was a crack in that spot, you would not notice it. The guys were extremely friendly and they fixed a few other issues that I had with no extra charge. Customer service was excellent as well. Very happy customer!

I am so absolutely happy that I bought my Island Countertop here! I really wanted to give 5 stars but our salesman we originally had didn’t want to sell us the quartz countertop that we requested. He almost talked us into buying a quartzite until I got home and researched that this countertop would have been a disappointment to us. We ended up going back and buying what we originally wanted. My advice to anyone choosing a new countertop is to do your homework to see if it needs to be treated a couple times a year or not because, in our experience, we were not educated like we should have been. Other than that, the measurements and installation were both 5 stars.

We had the pleasure of purchasing a countertop from The Countertop Shop. Right from the beginning, it was top a of the line experience. Logan our salesperson, was very helpful and explained all our questions. Once we picked out our choice, we paid for it and explained that we were a couple of months away from needing it. they explained it was no problem, and to take our time with our project. I believe her name is Kaylee, who does the scheduling, keep in contact with me about every 2 weeks, which was good because she got me scheduled in a very timely manner. I was going to install this myself, but another gentleman there highly recommended that I have them laser and install. And boy am I ever glad they did. They came and took all lasered measurements, and in a couple of weeks, came and installed it. The two people that installed it did a FANTASTIC job! It exceeds all my expectations. Everyone from sales to install, are very knowledgeable, courteous, and top notch in their field. Nothing but the best!!! Thank you so much.

This is far and away the best place to get countertops in the northwest Ohio area. They go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction and get things done efficiently and the right way.

My kitchen, laundry, and bathroom look amazing. We had a wonderful experience with Countertop Shop. I picked my counter top (Cambria Quartz) and scheduled an appointment to have my areas measured. Once my counter tops came in, I scheduled an appointment for installation and that was it. They showed up on time and were very professional. I would recommend them all day long. I love the final product!

Everything about dealing with the Countertop Shop was a positive experience...from visiting the showroom to learn about materials and seeing the workshop to having measurements done in our home for the template (on time, efficient and informative) to having the countertop installed (again, on time, and professionally done). We are so happy with the results and highly recommend the Countertop Shop!

We recently went through the countertop shop they were our more expensive option but we loved what they offered. They came to our home and measured. We had our aptt to pick our slab so we went in and picked out the one. We then had our next appointment to go back in and they showed us a virtual visualization of our counter tops! We got to pick what way the grains flowed and flipped it around until the seams flowed so good you couldn't even see them. Our next appointment was installation, but they could only instal our island and no other countertop because they cut the others wrong and they could not be used. We waited a week before the second try at installation. I was very please with the guys that installed but disappointed in management. We chose this company because we got to pick the slab and chose layout and see it before installation and they didn't even email us or show us our new slab that we did not get to pick this time. The slab was not Iike our first choice. It's way lighter and the seam is more noticeable because the grain is running in completely opposite directions. After the final installation they didn't even call to check how the new countertop was or how we liked it. You'd think after messing up you'd check back in and make sure we were satisfied. I don't believe we got an apology or any sort of discount. If I would have known we were not going to be able to pick the layout in the end we would have gone with our other company. Seems like a Good company maybe just a bad job?

Installation nightmare. First crew installed my white quartz tops and I had one seam. It came out dirty and very noticeable being white. After contacting them they agreed to come back and fix it. Must have been their "A" crew this time cause they did a fantastic job and you could barely even see the seam. I was very happy with the outcome and glad I let them know that I thought it could be done better. Within a couple days I noticed a small hairline crack on the very edge of the top they had to remove to fix seam. We immediately contacted them. The only thing on my brand new top is a Keurig Coffeemaker at this point. We haven't moved back in the kitchen yet. For the record, this is Silestone calcutta gold qaurtz as well. Nice, expensive quartz with a great warranty both manufacture and installation. Looks great on paper until you need it I guess. They came back out to do a warranty crayon test near this crack, where they rub a Crayola crayon on the top and it shows heat damage. Just so happens my coffee maker is close and they claim I MUST have put my hot coffee pot on the very edge of my brand new quartz top and the little crayon scribbles prove it, so they say. I assure you I did not, nor would I ever put a hot pot on a any countertop when the coffee maker has a spot for the pot. Who does that? After much back and forth with the owner Mike, over email, which were the most non professional, blame placing emails, his solution is to pay half the cost to replace it because I damaged it, so he claims. The fact they had to rip up my top to fix their cruddy seam from their "B" crew couldn't possibly have anything to do with this crack. My new kitchen looks great, even the brand new cracked countertop that will eventually break I assume. I just have to live with that because I will not pay more money for a replacement to probably have another bad seam from their not so good install crew. It's a shame that it's hard to find a local company with a Owner who stands behind their products now a days. His resolve is, my red Crayola says you broke this brand new top, pay more money and ill fix it. I don't know how the top cracked, but it wasn't from a coffee pot on my end or I would of just let it go, like I'm choosing to do now since he just wants to blame his customer and color on my new quartz. Just for grins, I talked with a gentleman who works for cutting edge who has years of experience in this business. Immediately, without a doubt, just looking at the crack, he disagreed. Then he went as far as to say that cutting edge would be replacing that top asap. So, take what you want from this, but I highly recommend going elsewhere to avoid potentially getting a bad experience like I received. I'm reasonable, I know nothing is perfect during remodels. I don't expect perfect. Mistakes happen during renovations, but for the money spent, you want a company that stands behind their products. That's far from what I got from Mike and the countertop shop. Id love to show his emails and how he treats his customers but Ill be a bigger man then him, which isn't hard to do :) Check out Cutting Edge, they have much better reviews and customer satisfaction. When my top breaks, Ill have them take care of it.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I walked into the establishment and was not greeted or acknowledged by a single of their 4 employees sitting around at their desks. At one point I ever said hello and was ignored entirely. I will be happily taking my business elsewhere and I highly suggest other do the same. Do not waste your time.

This review is solely on the experience I had trying to schedule an appt for an estimate. I didn't get as far as getting work done. I felt like the girl who answers the phone at the store was rude. I was calling to get something fixed and had called Countertop Shops because the previous owner of my house had said they were the ones who installed my counters. When I told the girl they had installed my counters and I needed to get something fixed but wasn't sure if they would be able to do it or if I had to call someone else, she told me she had to call me back. Maybe I'm impatient but when she says 'let me check and call you back' I expected a call back within a couple hours at least since I was assuming someone would come out to take a look and give an estimate. But I never got a call back even almost a day after my initial call. It took forever for me to find someone who could even come out to look at the problem (I actually had to find an old business card and call the cell phone of the sales person because the girl at the store was unhelpful.) The first thing the sales person said was that they hadn't installed my counters. It annoyed me that they took the time to find out if they had installed it or not rather than to just make an appt to come see if they could fix it which is what I had asked for in the first place. Then they said they could come at the end of the week- 4 days after my initial call. I would have thought that if someone needs something fixed, the first step would be to make an appt to take a look at the problem first. (Just to clarify, I didn't make an appt for someone to come out because by the time I actually had someone call to make the appt, I was so turned off by their service so I started to look elsewhere -which the one guy actually said to do when I asked if he could come sooner.) I felt as though they were reluctant to help me because I said they installed the counters originally and perhaps thought I was blaming them for it breaking (which was not the case- I just wanted to know if they were able to fix it or if I had to call someone else). I ended up going with someone else who was able to come out and fix my problem the same day. I realize that not all companies are able to come out the same day because they are busy, but most companies I call are able to schedule an appointment right away to come take a look at the problem - not 5 phone calls later. Hopefully other people have a better experience with Countertop Shops but looking at the other reviews, I doubt it.

If I could rate this company a 0, I would. Never answers my email so I had to call them - "oh, I don't know where the general emails go *insert teenage laugh*". Uh. Ok. Well now that I actually have someone on the phone, I need to schedule something for Saturday. The staff was flexible enough to accommodate that (hence 1 star). Fast forward to Saturday- I ran into a delay for my appt so I called them 1.5 hrs early to alert them. Got their voicemail. Then at 9:30, I received a call from the store asking where I was. Uh- I called earlier to let you know I've run into a delay, and that I'll be no more than 30 minutes late. Their response - "oh, I do t know how to check the voicemail". That wasn't reassuring to me. At all. At some point I should have just cut my losses and went elsewhere. But I drove on. Once I arrived at the store, the displays were sub-par, and the sales person was uneducated on the differences in brands, quality and options. More than once I had to remind her I wasn't concerned with cost, but rather quality. She wasn't able to answer my questions on the differences btwn Cambria, and the other suppliers. Here's a hint, it's thickness. Ok, moving on to the remnant selection, some of the pieces were damaged, not a surprise as a remnant. When asked what happened to some of the pieces, her response was - Oh, you know, the weather. Uh, huh. Next (and last fiasco - the sink options. They had none. I was looking for a composite kitchen sink and an apron front sink as well as 3 standard bathroom sinks. They had none of these as a display. Come on, even Home Depot can do better than that. So- to recap - emails and phone calls go to the island of misfit toys, the quality and selection are sub-par and the knowledge is non existent. I spent a total of 15- 20 minutes in the store. I won't be returning.

The countertops were fine, the guy that came to measure was very polite, but one of the two installers was AWFUL. He reeked of cigarettes and possibly last night's booze, and after I repeatedly told him I didn't want to sign off on the job (which we had already paid for in full) until my husband came home from work and looked at it, he informed me he couldn't leave until I signed. I felt incredibly uncomfortable with him, and would never work with that company again.

The sales staff Jim was good to deal with but upon installation their crew was horrible. First, they backed into our home damaging our side door. Keep in mind this was a new construction we had to get in and 90-degrees heat on top of that. The door frame has to be completely replaced so I had a temporary door on there (at my cost) that did a great job of racking up my air conditioning bill. Then, they damaged two walls (badly) and broke my island door. I had other contractors in there and they told me these guys have gotten very bad and out of the many houses they are in - have never quite seen anything like that. The workers were unprofessional. That wasn't the worst part. We paid their bill leaving behind about $3500. We thought this was enough to hopefully have them make right what they did wrong and they still need to come back and caulk a variety of things. I wrote a letter to the President Mike telling him we will pay the final payment once we get all of the bills to correct their damage and never got a response. In the meantime, I had to wait 2 weeks to get a new door in, beg my finished carpenter to come back and install it ... do the same with the painters all while looking a the caulking that was never completed. My painters finally felt so bad over my frustration they did some of the caulk themselves. This was only 4 weeks ago and they threaten me with a lien asking for payment. I was shocked. If they only knew how hard we had to work to fix all the stuff they damaged as nothing in my house was custom. Try getting busy contractors back in your home to fix someone else's mess. Not easy! Please stay away from this company as nothing good will come out of using them.
