I hired Joey for my kitchen cabinet and countertop upgrade. He patiently answering all the questions I had for cabinet, countertop and backsplash selection. He was prompt on responding back to my text messages. I think Joey and his brother are very professional and pro in the work they do. I would definitely recommend Subia’s for your home improvement project.

We hired Joey at Subia's Granite & Marble to replace one section of our new home countertop. A leak repair had required a new countertop in a corner section and the contractor who did the work completely bungled the installation. The countertop had slopes in the surface and a seam failure that kept shifting and causing a step. He said the installation met standards and was acceptable, it was not!!
Joey saved us from this disaster. He provided a quote, removed the mis-installed section, found the exact quartz material to replace it, fabricated the replacement at his shop and installed it in a single day.
The craftsmanship was flawless, perfectly polished edges and what was truely amazing was that he and his team were able to eliminate the seam in the corner altogether by fabricating that section from a single piece of quartz slab.
All in all we are just thrilled with the new countertop, no seam or step and perfectly flat. It looks amazing.
Joey was always on time to his appointments, very helpful and patient in figuring how the work would be done and provided a competitive price. His team was very warm and friendly, careful in our home and cleaned up everything spotlessly when complete.
Clearly an expert countertop contractor. We will be calling him again for our backyard barbecue countertops.
Highly recommended!!

Every contractor that I contacted refused to even hear what my job entailed without me agreeing to a minimum of $5000 in labor. I guess thats some industry standard? But when I contacted Joey at Subias Granite and left a message he responded within an hour and he at least gave me the time of day to hear what my problem was. I needed a contractor to come in and rescue me from a previous nightmare contractor who turned my kitchen into a Frankenstein. Joey agreed to do the job over and I had to start from scratch but he directed me to his webpage where I was able to see the quality of work that he does and I felt confident that he could help me undo what the previous contractor did. Long story short Joey was in and out within two days. He did a demolition of my countertops and installed new beautiful quartz and the difference between his job and the previous contractor was night and day. He did not do any of the work in my driveway like the previous contractor did. He took the stone to his shop and worked his magic and then bought it to my house and installed it and it is shiny and sparkly. His seams are not noticeable unlike the previous seams I had. If not for the pattern of the stone you would never know where the joints meet. The corners are nice and rounded and finished and polished. There are no gaps or spacing. That was a pet peeve of mine. Visible seams and gaps and poor spacing which made the previous job look awful. Joey's work was A+ and if I could give more than five stars I would. If you want someone who pays very close attention to the tiny details of every corner and every space then go with Joey and you will not be disappointed I promise you that. I have posted photos of the first job and photos of what Joey did to fix it. He closed the gaps and gave me invisible joints and I am 100% satisfied.
The previous contractor that ruined my kitchen was Lilly's Garden. Stay far away from them!
Somehow all my photos did not post. I am happy to share them though. Message me if interested.

Joey Subias was contracted on October 8 2018 to install our countertop. He did not appear with the stone until mid December 2018. When he did show up, the stone pieces were 4 inches short on one piece and an inch short on the other. I refused to have this installed with extra patches of stone tacked on. I asked for my money back and was refused. I sued and won a small claims case against Joey for the full amount paid. He has not paid yet!

I had a very bad experience with Joey Subias. The first day of the job he showed up about 1 hour late with no phone call or text. The 2nd day he showed up 2 hours late with no call or text to let me know he would be late. The job site was at a vacate condo so I had to travel there and wait for him. When I told him I had an issue with him being late and not letting me know, he quit and went home leaving me without a granite contractor in a time sensitive project. Very unprofessional.

Does Subia's Granite & Marble offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Subia's Granite & Marble performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Subia's Granite & Marble provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Subia's Granite & Marble, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Subia's Granite & Marble in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
