After going to all the fancy places & not finding anything along with them not sharing the price unless I had a fabricator call for a price, I went to Granite Depot. I was pleasantly surprised at the huge selection of stone they had. I actually fell in love with the first slabs I saw, but was encouraged to look at all the slabs to make sure I saw all my choices. I went with my original choice & right away I was given a price & if I wanted to use their fabricator, they told me the price for that as well. It was so refreshing to be able to hear everything up front with total transparency. Everyone I dealt with was extremely nice & helpful. I ran into some contractor problems right before cutting & I had to put my job on hold. Once again they were so sweet, supportive & helpful working with me through a very challenging time. I had four slabs & when it came time for installing we ran into a couple of situations trying to fit the granite into a tight space. Stone Crafters (the fabricators for Granite Depot) was there for me & really went above expectations to work through anything I needed for me to be happy with my install. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable & extremely helpful. I just can’t say enough about these two companies & I promise, I am a real customer! Thank you Granite Depot & Stone Crafters I truly love my new granite countertops!!!

Went to StoneCrafters for a remnant piece of granite for a small kitchen remodel for our rental condo unit (26 sq ft of granite). From estimate to install was exactly 5-weeks but ONLY because I personally acted as the project manager for this job and was extremely proactive in calling and following up. I can imagine this process taking much longer if someone was not actively managing the project timeline. Picking out the remnant piece on-site and getting a price estimate was the easy part. The rest of the process was quite painful due to their complete lack of communication. Ordering the granite in-person on-site at the 8th ave location took some time. Laying out the my kitchen measurements to fit the remnant piece I selected with pencil and paper rather than a computer program. 50% deposit due at signing and then.....crickets from StoneCrafters. Waited over a week with no phone call or follow up. I had to call to get the laser template appointment set up for the following week. Template guy was on time and said he'd submit the measurements that day. And then.....crickets from StoneCrafters. I had to follow up after another week to see what the next steps were. Take my money, I want to get this counter installed. They said they would call me to set it up. They did call me later that week and scheduled me for a Monday install. They called me back the following week to confirm Wednesday install (what?) and collect the remaining deposit. I explained I would not have scheduled Wednesday because I wasn't going to be in town and that was a mistake. Nice try though. They were able to fit us in for a Monday install but the installers were supposed to show up between 3-5p and they showed up at 6:30p. They were obviously overscheduled. Again, calling StoneCrafters to find out where the installers were and why they were late after hours was very frustrating. StoneCrafters- 2 stars (frustrating, little/no communication) Laser Template Guy- 5 stars (independant, professional, kind, knowledgable) Granite Installers- 5 stars (professional, precise, thorough)

The reviews are accurate, this company tries to steal. Even the 5 star reviews have issues with this company. Honestly save yourself a headache and stay away. After reading the contract and reading the reviews we decided to not sign the contract and get refund for our deposit. They don’t communicate and they try to keep your money. It’s been 2 weeks and we’re still waiting for a refund. I am working with my credit card company to get this refund as this company is no help. ** read the contract, and the reviews it will steer you away from this company and it will make you realize what a nightmare this can turn into.**

I worked with them to do a kitchen remodel and even after 4 months, they couldn't come through with my countertop. They canceled the order, citing that I didn't respond to phone calls, but eventually realized that they were calling the wrong number. They ask everyone to pay in full (no refunds) but then do not install. They have scheduled to come and install three times, but keep moving the date. I'm not sure if they even have the product. I wish I had gone with another company. They do not respond to calls or texts.

Stone-Crafters called us yesterday saying the’d be out to place a small counter piece that was missing when they delivered the a bigger piece - that we have been waiting weeks to get this in order to get our barroom completed. The hours were between 9:00 and 11:00. We called this morning to double-check since we had plans for the day. It is 1:55 and they have not shown up, made a call to say they were running late, and my call was forwarded to a voicemail. Since we have used them, they have NOT returned phone calls, the person who we placed our order with has made false promises, etc. We have tried to get this installed for weeks now. This is the WORST customer service we’ve ever had from a business. I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere. We should have listened to the reviews!!!!!

DONT DO BUISNESS WITH STONE CRAFTERS! Horrible customer service. These women do not care about there customers. They say they'll call back and never do. The supervisor or manager is always in a "meeting" and never return calls. I cannot believe this is even an existing company. Fast food companies have better service then they do. On top of the bad service the installation was just as bad.

Tried to have them cut the remaining slab left over from our kitchen. They sure do make sure they get paid up front. I assume because they suck so bad and want to make sure they get paid regardless of their work. Had issues getting the seam put in the correct place. Person I was dealing with was never available. They supposedly sent to cutting before we had the seam the way we wanted it. Asked for photo of what they actually cut before they arrived. Manager didn't send. Didn't arrive for initial scheduled install date due to issues with layout. Manager said she would let me know when they were coming and never called. I left work and ran home to unhook plumbing. Installer left and said he would be back in 1.5 hours. Never came back. Called manager and she said he would be here at 3 to 4pm. So i left work again. They never showed. Called manager again she said he would be here on Saturday at 8:30. It wasn't ideal since its wife birthday and we had plans. At this point we had no running water in any of our bathrooms waiting on them so we agreed to Saturday. 8:30 am came and went. No installer here. Called manager again. She texted back and wouldn't call. Said they wouldn't be here for at least another hour. At this point we are looking at around noon, if they show up. Plus install time. Another day wasted. Good thing for them I paid them upfront. Worst customer services I have ever had from a contractor. I deal with contractors on a daily basis. The guy who measures is great, everyone is pretty much horrible. DO NOT USE

This is way overdue, but I wanted to follow through with my review for these guys. The natural dolomite marble stone they provided and chose for me is STUNNING, but my review is specifically for Linda. She's the mover and shaker around there and was awesome to work with. She's sharp, she knows her field, she means business, and she was impressive on the digital/layout side of things when choosing seams and orientation of veins, etc. What I appreciated most throughout is you can tell Linda truly cares and wants to get things done right. She also recommended our sink, which we love. Yes, I had to follow up a lot like another review alludes to, but I'm the type to follow up a lot anyway. People are busy. It's fine. The team of installers were great too, especially since my island piece was a massive "jumbo" sized slab. I was so nervous for them getting it in and they made it happen. The only thing that bothered us was the carelessness in tearing out the old granite. They simply ripped the granite off (instead of cutting the adhesive along the cabinet first) so a bunch of the cabinet material tore off with it (the panel where the double ovens are). They never fixed it. Thankfully the long term plan is to repaint the cabinets, but in the meantime it's a nuisance to look at. So that area can use improvement. But in the end, I would shop from Linda everytime even if she moved on elsewhere. Thank you!

Sales people are great at selling the product and taking your money and then it is downhill from there. All customer services and appointments so far have been initiated by me. Installation date has been pushed back 4 times so far and still waiting. UPDATE: while the communication for scheduling was initially spotty we managed to reach a day/time for installation before Thanksgiving. Our granite slab is installed and looks fabulous. So good in fact we signed up for round two to finish the rest of the kitchen. The sales person worked with us to find a matching slab of Saturnia granite with grain/pattern that matched our initial piece of granite versus just selling us the next slab (which did not match).

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! THEY BAIT AND SWITCH!! REFUSE TO RETURN MONEY WHEN THEY BREACH THE CONTRACT. We placed a order with stoncrafters for a specific granite. We inspected the granite and they showed us a layout with the granite. Then two days before install they called and said that they no longer had the granite. We had already paid for the specific type and color. They tried to force us to choose a different pattern - (which all were cheap home depot colors) and charge us More!! We then asked for our money back and they refused saying the contract says no refunds. This company is so shady. They breach the contract by not giving us the granite we pick out try to force us to buy a cheaper type of granite and refuse to refund us. We disputed with our credit card company and they fought it. Obviously no on at that company has any legal knowledge or they would know that breaching the contract by non-performance trumps any no refund clause. WE WON THE CREDIT CARD DISPUTE but the fact that they fought it and thought they could screw a customer like that is pretty pathetic. FYI - Go to granite liquidators in wheat ridge and have Robles Marble and Granite Install. They charge half the price and the service is tremendous

This was our second installation by Stone Crafters, and our second purchase from Granite Depot. We are very happy with the service, again. We did have a complication, where our original slab was somehow damaged. They let us choose another slab as a substitute (at no additional charge, even though the first slab as a remainder, while the second was a full slab). The folks at Stone Crafters were very good to work with throughout, managing the re-selection and rescheduling process very professionally. Our installation team , Ivan and Roberto, were excellent to work with. Very professional, and efficient. They installed 2 double vanities in our bathrooms, and did a flawless job. Everything looks great, and they hauled everything our and cleaned up very well. Very friendly as well, and wore their masks at all times, without any prompting from us. Turns out, this was our second time with Roberto, who had installed our kitchen counters a couple of years ago. Thanks again, Roberto, and thanks Ivan!

We purchased our granite for kitchen countertops from Granite Depot. Stone Crafters measured, cut and installed it. I can't say enough about how amazing the installers were. First of all, they arrived early!! Then were super professional, laid down tarps, wore makes, worked quickly and quietly. There were mistakes (from a laser measure) on 2 of the pieces. You'd think I would complain about that, but the installers were able to solve the problems right there. They literally cut off the excess, and even ground the bullnose edge in our front yard!! And it looks perfect. Highly recommend! Very personable, thorough and professional!!

I was looking for a place that could help me remodel and replace my countertops and I went into Stone Crafters and was Amazed by all of the selection and Granite they have to choose from. They also have Quartz Marble and Stone and can even Put Lights inside of your countertops which I have never seen before. Long story short. They gave me a free quote and helped me choose the right style and color and my kitchen looks great now. If you want more options and a cheaper price rather then Home Depot etc these guys can do it all and also do the fabrication and install.

I purchased my new countertops from Granite Depot and the installation was completed by Stone Crafters. Everything went smoothly with the install, arrived on day scheduled and arrived on time. The plumber was very personable also. I had a heart wrenching situation with a crack in the stone after install and Linda's customer service at Stone Crafters went above and beyond. Her team picked up the countertop, repaired the crack, and reinstalled at no extra charge. I still don't know how a substantial crack with a leathered finish can be repaired - totally unperceivable to the naked eye! There are some really talented people at this company. I would have given five stars except for the fact that I think the second team of installers (Pedro) did a better and more thorough job installing. He also finished off a nice clean line behind the faucet and backsplash that I was concerned about, which was not done as nicely with the first installers. All in all, this company gets my thumbs up!! Vienna G.

Three years ago I used Stonecrafters for a kitchen remodel. Everything went great from start to finish. I'm nearing the end of a second kitchen remodel. Because of my positive experience last time, I went with Stonecrafters again. I have nothing but good things to say about the sales staff. But today was install day and it was a total train wreck. I was scheduled for install between 12 noon and 2 PM. The installer called at 10:30 AM and wanted to come over. The details are unimportant, but that just wasn't going to work. I asked that they stay with the time that was scheduled. They didn't show up between 12 noon and 2 PM. I ended up having five exasperating conversations over the course of the afternoon, with five different stone crafter employees. They made and broke promises about callbacks and when the installers would show up. I wasted my entire afternoon waiting for the installation. They finally came at 4:30 PM. I won't be using Stonecrafters again. Based on the other reviews that I've read, my experience is not uncommon.

We had the countertops installed in our kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms by Stone Crafters. It was a big project that we paid a lot of money for. The final product was good. However, scheduling with them was horrendous! To prepare for the job, we had to clear our entire kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms. Our home was in disarrayed. Cooking wasn't possible and cleaning was limited. The problem was that they scheduled and rescheduled us four times within several weeks. And, each time, we had to rearrange our schedule to accommodate theirs. When we raised this issue, they did nothing to accommodate for our inconvenience. If we had a choice, we would have gone with other installers!

I cannot recommend Stone Crafters. Firstly they are not inexpensive but I am normally happy to pay a premium for quality work. However they disappointed in the project they did for us. (Kitchen counters, back splash) They were not able to coordinate with other companies for pre work needed prior to the installation. The installation took several days longer that estimated. The quality of the quartz in particular was subpar and the workmanship of the installers was not of a quality associated with higher end applications. Follow up and communication is not an acceptable level. Still struggling to have mistakes and sloppy work corrected. I would look else ware particularly for a higher end project.

Dont use these guys. They installed mismatched counters on my bathroom counters about 1-1/2 yr ago and after talking, pleading for almost a year with the Boss Jerron (SP), Melissa and Jacob and assorted employees still NO results. They keep on asking for more ormation then make no return calls. I will also file a complaint with the licensing bureau. I am 80 years old way t old for this rudeness. DO NOT USE THEM. They do lousy work then dont fix it.//Maggie

I was told there was a big remnant sale, and that I could get my job done between 800 and $1100. I drove from Colorado Springs up to Denver, to find out that it's actually twice as much. I wasted my day, mileage, gas. I was very specific on the phone that I had a budget as it was only my laundry room. I was surprised when I was quoted the price for materials and labor, including a trip charge, but decided to make the trip up to pick out a piece. Once I got here, it was bait and switch. I don't usually write reviews like this, but I want to not let anybody else be disappointed.

I worked with Carin for the sale and considering I was signing a contract and making a payment, everything was fine and the team seemed very attentive. However, working with the customer service team, specifically Linda W., was a nightmare. She never called back or returned emails when she said she would and ultimately when we scheduled an onsite visit to my home nearby the showroom, she canceled last minute (after I called to follow up). She rescheduled for the next day (picked the time again) and she never showed up and did not call again. This was almost two weeks ago and I have yet to hear from anyone. My guess is they have no intention of following up on my issues with the installation. Some of the issues were VERY visible seams, large gaps filled with caulking, and corners that were rounded due to having to grind slabs onsite because they didn't fit. I was not told the adjustment would mean that my requested right angles to now be angled. Measuring must be a joke. I included a sample below of some of the adjustments needed to make onsite. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

FYI - Go to granite liquidators in wheat ridge and have Robles Marble and Granite Install. They charge half the price and the service is tremendous!

I contacted Stone Crafters and received a call from a designer named Breanna. She was very kind and very confident they would be able to do the job I needed done. After sending her pictures on a Wednesday, Breanna didn't respond until the following Monday. She said she could not stress enough about the cabinets possibly not being perfectly matched in color to the alterations they would be doing. I let her know Tuesday that we would still like to move forward. She didn't respond until Wednesday only apologizing for lack of response. I texted her a few more times and didn't get a response until Thursday, Her response was suggesting we buy new countertops. I asked her to clarify as she said the problem would be the cabinets. She responded that she was with a customer and would call me in a moment. Never happened. Thanks for wasting my time Breanna!

The customer service representative, Linda W is the worst person to deal with. Due to Stone Crafter communication issues. I have had to pay over $800 to fix the errors made. I took pictures during the whole installation and had validated bills supporting the errors. i was referred to Linda to handle the matter. Linda handles customer complaints by keeping her voice mail full, after calling twice a day for a week she finally answered the phone promising to call me back and settle the issue. She never called back. The voice mail was open for a day and I left messages. Her answer to customer complaints is hoping I will give up. That is ridiculous. I hope the company will have somebody who cares about customers call me and resolve this issue. So disappointed the product is great the service is awful

DO NOT USE THEM!!!! If I could give Stone Crafters a 0 I would! 1st I worked with a lady named Ashley. She was extremely rude. When the guys came to install they just rushed into my house like they lived there!!!! They rushed the job & even shorted me some countertop! Then they gave me the run around on how it was going to be fixed! When the guys left they didn't even replace the cabinet correctly & when I called Ashley to see how to fix it she acted like it wasn't her problem. The worst service EVER I will never recommend & I will never use them again! You should be ashamed of yourself!!!

Ugh, I echo the negative reviews below. The hassle with installation is a nightmare. They rescheduled us 3 times, the final time being the night before when we had our entire house prepped and ready for all new countertops. I wrote a formal complaint and received a call from the GM Linda, who said she'd call me back by 3pm that day with a resolution. No return call that day or after the following 2 attempts I made. When the installers finally showed up on the 4th attempt, they were nearly an hour past the window they gave, and they were there until 7pm on a Friday night. The owner of Granite Depot also owns Stone Crafters (is what Linda told me), so I would never recommend getting countertops at Granite Depot because you're then stuck with Stone Crafters.

Totally disappointed and appalled with the experience I just had with Stonecrafters Co. at first they were great, but they have a lot to learn about handling escalated customer situations. I took an entire day off of work, and drove 1.5?hours to our 2nd home for this install. How is it possible to be off that much in your measurements??? This was a beautiful slab, and now it cant be used. Linda didn't even apologize, just said they made a mistake and they have another piece from a different slab that "looks just like it". NO! Anyone that has worked with stone knows every slab is different.. My entire job has been pushed back as final work is being doneMonday that has to be rescheduled. Needless to say, I am not happy and they need to make this right.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't ever go here! I purchased my countertops from Granite Depot and Stone Crafters is the installer. They have messed up so much that I could write a book. Linda the "GM" will stop calling you back. I honestly don't understand how she still has a job. And PLEASE do your research on Granite Depot before using them. I have lost so much money in this process. If I can help one person this review will be worth it.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Stone Crafters cut the stone for our counters wrong. Somehow they got the slabs confused during the cutting process and we were given counters with uneven and visible seams and a color pattern that does not match what we paid for. Linda (an employee) claimed she could "fix" the seams by "blending" them. We agreed her "blending" offer but it ultimately made our counters look even worse. Now we have counters that not only do not match the design plan we paid for but that also have large holes in them from the seam blending - which is actually stone drilling and carving followed by filling with epoxy that does not match the color of the counters. They refuse to remedy their error. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE and TERRIBLE COMPANY.

Stone Crafters cut our granite a little off (short), they did not seal around all the counter tops, they drilled extra holes in our walls, they ripped out all of our electrical outlets and did not fix and they SCRATCHED MY BRAND NEW $3000 STOVE! And the workers took a 90 minute leisurely lunch. Spoke to Linda at Stone Crafters NUMEROUS times via email and phone, and she was of no help in resolving any issues. I now have to sue them in small claims court. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I selected a beautiful white granite remnant that had 1 flaw on it that was very obvious to anyone looking at it. My instructions for the counter top cut was to NOT include that flaw (a large black spot that was out of place if looking at the rest of the white remnant). I spoke to representatives several times about my instructions for the piece's fabrication. Each time I spoke with someone there, they said they couldn't find the instructions for the job. Also, when I picked out the piece, the employee said they would use a Sharpy to circle or X out spots on the remnant for us to indicate to the in-house fabricators what to include/exclude. I gave clear instructions at least 3 times for this piece to not include the black spot. What did I get when it was installed? The large black spot smack dab in the middle of the counter on the main portion of the counter. It is completely obvious and I am so incredibly angry. The fabricators could have easily located the cut elsewhere as there was ample room on the remnant. To my knowledge there is no room for another cut on this beautiful piece of stone for replacement. But, of course, I don't know this for sure because I can not get anyone to call me back about the issue. I call everyday to try and speak to "Linda" but she is never available and I never get a call back.

This is Day 39 of me being without a kitchen. Let that sink in before you touch this place. They "got the measurements wrong," so the design was wrong. Two miserable CYA cobbled together plans that I rejected, saying they had to redesign the kitchen. Delay, bungle, downright effing up piling on until I can't even breathe. Finally the cabinets installed yesterday. The countertop people were going to come today (I stayed home with the phone all afternoon waiting for their 30 min. advance warning). They never showed. I have very low expectations of what I will end up with. The best service out of this outfit is the plumber, and if they would have done their job right, I would have never met that pleasant man.

The installation process with Stone Crafters is outstanding, but discovered this level of support completely disappears when an issue with the installation arises. The overhang on our granite varies more than 1/2 inch over the length of the tub, which makes it look very bad. The "sister company" relationship between Granite Depot and Stone Crafters seems to blur responsibility between the companies, which makes it very difficult for customers to understand who they should be working with. Stone Crafters and Granite Depot have an aggressive and bully approach when you speak with them over the phone, which I assume is an attempt to intimidate customers. However, when they come to your house to meet with your contractor to have the hard discussions between them of where the fault lies, they are very courteous and almost say nothing. Our issue is still not resolved and had to resort to disputing the charge with the credit card company. I would highly discourage customers who are not prepared for this bullying approach to not use Stone Crafters or Granite Depot.
