Teresa and her crew were absolute lifesavers! I came to them with an almost impossible request and they completed the job within 3 days of my phone call. BUYER BEWARE - BAD WORK & POOR ATTITUDE. After making down payment, Tom came to measure. When asked if he was going to use a template, he responded " templates are for people who do not know how to read a tape measure." When contractors arrived to install, one didn't speak English and the other refused to talk. The counter tops ended up not being wide enough. Tom's response, "Don't talk to the workers, you will get a better job if you leave them be." Work resulted in bad seams, and they made little effort in cleaning up when complete; resin left around joints. As mentioned, the granite did not fit walls and subsequently required removal of drywall to shim walls in preparation for tile backsplash. Installers also damaged newly laid floor and brand-new kitchen cabinet kickplates. Concerns mentioned above were expressed repeatedly to owner/management, however, no attempt to address concerns or even inspect the poor workmanship was made. DO NOT recommend using Southern Granite & Marble.

Awesome experience! SG&M installed beautiful granite at our church, St John's M.B. in Winter Haven. Mrs Teresa and her team, from start to finish, are true definitions of professional customer service. She educated us and guided us on this big decision.

We found the perfect piece of granite we were looking for to go with our new kitchen and our re-modeler Rob Davis of HCR coordinated the installation. The crew from Southern Granite did a great job and the new kitchen looks great. Highly recommend both HCR and Southern Granite.

Yesterday we stopped into Southern Granite simply because of a few reviews that spoke very highly of Teresa that handled them and their orders. Customer Service is everything to us, where there's good customer service there is bound to be good quality work with a company that stands behind their product. Teresa did not disappoint, she is definitely a cornerstone of Southern Granite and it shows. We are very happy with the quantity, price and finished look of our stone from Southern granite in our kitchen!

We engaged Southern Granite for new countertops for our kitchen, impressed by their selection. However, our experience turned for the worse when, despite agreeing on an installation price, they attempted to increase the price after measuring three times. During the third attempt after we already removed our countertops, we again expressed concern about uneven cabinets, this led Manager "Tom" to leave the premises without answering our questions and addressing the issue. The communication throughout was inadequate, and matters escalated when the owner resorted to cursing and name-calling, "You might have something wrong upstairs." Despite their competitive wholesaler pricing, the lack of professionalism and transparency in communication makes it challenging to recommend Southern Granite, as they stated “they are not cabinet people.” As "Countertop installers", there should be a basic level of knowledge on installation. We advise others to exercise major caution, demand a contractual agreement, and be prepared for potential headaches and additional costs post-agreement. Unfortunately, we cannot endorse them for countertop needs.

Everyone we worked with at Southern Granite and Marble were awesome. Teresa that manages each order, the wonderful couple that measures, and the skilled, speedy, and professional installers. Six business days from the day we stopped until granite was being installed in my home. Inexpensive and top notch quality. Plenty of beautiful slabs to choose from. Bring your measurements and Teresa will help you with everything. They removed our old countertops and disposed of them. Everything was clean when they were done.

Just ordered two pieces of granite from southern granite-a new large kitchen island and a small piece for my coffee station. Ordered on Tuesday and Picked up on Thursday of the same week. (Beautifully cut and polished) Got a few quotes from other places and absolutely felt confident with the expertise and professionalism from southern granite. I wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them again and I only wish I knew about this company the first time I remodeled my kitchen!
