Working this way, you get a way bigger choice of slabs, as you go straight to the manufacturers, and then get Slabworks to do the installation. Josh and his team were very thorough with preparation and installation. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a new countertop.

Josh and Slabworks were great to work with for our new kitchen countertop. Starting with quick templating of the existing counter and new cabinets, through choosing a sink and slab, Josh was very quick to communicate and provide direction. The install took 4 hours start to (clean) finish and we are very happy with our new counters!

Highly recommend Slabworks of Denver. Going through the fabricator gave us the opportunity to get the stones from many wholesaler and not be limited to one stores. The craftmanship is beautiful. Out of the entire house include kitchen and bathroom with around 112 square foot, there are only 2 seams on the kitchen's corner, and it is barely visible. Overall, highly recommend this fabricator, and will definitely use them again in the future. On the cons, due to viewing stone from wholesaler, sometimes it can takes as long as a week to get price back. It quite frustrating to know what we can afford, and what we can not, since wholesaler wouldn't tell us the price of the slab, and had to get price from the fabricator. That cause the whole process to be longer for us than we wanted to. Overall, Josh, the one we worked with were pleasant, never pressure us to choose something and the end product is beautiful.

We chose Slabworks because of their professionalism, pricing, and variety of stone suppliers with whom they work. We were replacing old counter tops and the demo presented some challenges that they easily overcame. When we found out we needed to have our cabinets leveled, they recommended a contractor who did a fantastic job. The final install continued the pattern of fast, professional work. We are thrilled with our counter tops and with our decision to go with slab works. We still need to reinstall one cabinet and have the tile backsplash done, but here is a photo of th encounter tops.

Overall we are very happy with our new kitchen countertops! Slabworks came off as disorganized and/or overwhelmed to us, so we were very relieved that everything came out well in the end.
Pros: Juan did an excellent job templating and communicating details with us. On install day, Sal and his crew were professional, experienced, and efficient. Slabworks was able to do a recessed cutout so that we could flush install our cooktop (see photo)-- not all fabricators can do this. We were also pleased that our quote was reasonable, and more or less accurate with no big surprise costs.
Cons: Josh set expectations that install would occur about a week after templating and instead we waited 16 days (1 holiday). When you're without a kitchen sink and dishwasher every extra day is an added inconvenience. We felt this could have been easily avoided with better communication and proactiveness on the front end regarding materials. Josh was very responsive otherwise and we appreciated that.

Josh and his team (measurement guys, fabricators, installers) were great to work with and delivered an awesome product and experience! Josh was/is super responsive - returned ALL of my texts/calls/emails quickly and continued to impress me with his customer focus. Juan and his son were inspiring in their template/measurement work. And the installers bent over backwards to make up for shortcomings in the cabinet install! All that and their pricing was great. Absolutely no question I’d use them again and recommend them to my best friends. I love doing business with guys like this!!!

We had the best experience with Slabworks. I had reached out to Josh with a request for a quote for new quartz countertops, and he was able to make great recommendations on the scope of our project to update our 16 year old kitchen. We used his team's recommendation for extending our kitchen countertops to expand seating options in two locations. We love the huge new sink, and Josh was very patient with our plans to incorporate an induction stovetop into our design. I love the Misterio quartz countertop that he recommended. I also loved that installation was only one day. Pricing was very straightforward, and the measurement guy Juan and installers Sal and Arturo were easy to work with.

Had a great experience with Josh and his team. They provide transparent pricing and do not mark up slabs which did not appear to be true of many fabricators that we talked to. They are also very responsive and quick to provide pricing of slabs during the shopping process. Josh even helped us to find the exact slab we were looking for within Our price range. The installation was quick and looks great. Will definitely hire again for future jobs.

We hired Denver Slabworks for our quartz countertop installation. We had old granite countertops removed, and new quartz countertops fabricated and installed. We worked with Nick. Nick was outstanding - great customer service! Nick is very responsive, getting back to us immediately every time we reached out. Nick came to our home and walked us through the process. We had a number of detailed questions through the process, and Nick was able to answer everything for us. Nick's installation crew was very professional, with attention to detail. The countertops, and our new kitchen and master bathroom, look amazing! We recommend Denver Slabworks for any new countertop project.

Slabworks recently installed a countertop for my outdoor island. Nick is extremely thorough and courteous. Every step of the way he checked in with me to ensure that everyone that I dealt with had been polite. The fabrication of the granite is great! I had the jagged edge finish on the edges, it is really impactful on the light granite and ties in well with the other stone on my patio. As they pulled the slab out and started to fabricate, Nick called and sent pictures to make sure that I was happy with the color of the stone. Everyone was very friendly and professional. And, they took the template on a Wednesday and installed the following Monday. Knock your socks off service! I highly recommend Slabworks.

Josh was very responsive and timely. Overall very happen with my countertops- the price was great for the quality of their work. Very little damage to existing cabinetry when they removed the existing granite.
I'm very particular and Josh was very professional and made sure I was super happy with results!
They even installed our sink (not plumbing) and our gas range (not the gas hook up) and did an excellent job!

We hired Slabworks to do our kitchen countertops. This is the first time that we tackled a project like this and both Josh and Nick were very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. They provided upfront prices and guidance, even encouraged us to shop other fabricators. Once we finally decided on the material (quartz--Oceana), they worked with out budget, and schedule. Nick called every week to check in to make sure we were still on schedule. Also, they wanted to make sure we were 100% happy before collecting any money. Even after install, Nick checked in. I would recommend Nick and Josh for any stone installation.

I can't say enough good things about Slabworks of Denver! From the beginning, Josh was very responsive (he texted me within 20 minutes of reaching out to him through this app!), and kept in touch with me every step of the way. I installed new quartz countertops in my kitchen and granite in both my master and spare bathrooms. On the day of the install, Sal and Carlos were actually 15 minutes early (rarely has a contractor been on time, much less early!). They were absolutely awesome - laying down tarps to protect my floors, did any drilling /trimming outside so my house didn't get all dusty, and they cleaned up when they were done. My only regret is that they don't do tile backsplashes, but Josh gave me a referral and that project is scheduled. I plan on painting my cabinets, which will make their work stand out even more! I'm really pleased with how the entire project played out.

We hired Slabworks to handle our kitchen granite fabrication and install earlier. It was a seamless transaction. One fellow came out and took care of the measurements in under an hour. Then Josh gave us half a dozen granite dealers to go to so that we could make sure we got a slab we liked. And shortly there after a crew came in and did a great job installing - even cutting holes in my cabinets for plumbing lines, my cook top, etc.
I've rarely worked with a contractor that delivered at the quoted cost, ahead of schedule. But this was one of those times. Highly recommend this company.

Definitely recommend. Communication was always timely whether text or return phone call. We pondered replacing our large granite kitchen island in our new home , we lived with the granite nearly 2 years and did not like coloring or pattern. We finally decided that we see and use this everyday so let's replace it. We contacted a couple companies specializing in Granite/ Quartz countertops to discuss our options & ideas. We found Slabworks & worked with Josh and decided to go with Slabworks. We gave Josh approximate dimensions, he walked me through how to correctly measure (island has large curved radius, I was measuring a little off initially). Josh gave us an estimated cost for removal, fabrication & install . Our Island is very large, and not a simple rectangular shape. We were abit worried on the removal & install. We chose our new material from Pental Surfaces on Josh's recommendation. We actually had been to Pental for tile previously and love the variety, quality, and the people there as well. Wow, what a nice selection of Granite & Tile they offer. We decided upon Quartz instead of Granite and are very happy with that decision, super nice, clean, and a non busy look.
Once the Quartz was picked the templating, fabrication, & install moved along nicely & was only about 2 1/2 wks out. With the confirmed square footage Josh gave us the price which was right in line with original estimate.
Installers were on time, courteous, careful, & all is well. Recommend Slabworks without reservations.

Shopping for countertops can be an intimidating experience, but Nick and Slabworks made it super simple, easy and convenient. They were competitively priced, made shopping easy, and had wonderful communication throughout the project. Their templating and installation teams were professional, clean, and courteous. Nick helped me throughout the entire process and answered all of my questions and gave me helpful pointers along the way. Slabworks is a growing company and hungry (and a proud veteran owned business), and it shows in their customer service. I'd recommend Nick without a problem. Kudos to finishing the project earlier than scheduled. Thanks Nick!

We recently hired Slab Works to do a counter top and a bench seat for a bathroom remodel we are doing for my mother in law. After requesting multiple bids from several companies we found Nick to have top notch service, knowledge and his pricing was more than competitive. He was very quick to respond to our request for a quote and he was very concerned that we would get a good value for his service (other companies tried to sell us a full slab of quartz when we only had a small job). He listened very well to what was wanted and was very communicative throughout the whole process. His installers arrived when they said they would, and did a great job! We will definitely be giving him a call when the time comes for new kitchen counters! Very pleased with the experience!!!!!

We recently renovated our kitchen and bathrooms with Nick at Slabworks of Denver. He was very courteous, professional, very helpful and reasonably priced. This company nailed it. Nick Samuelson was very prompt, courteous and professional. He was great to quickly get back to me and make an appointment to come out and see the job, something that was definitely lacking at many granite companies. I had a look at the granite yard, which had many choices of remnants, which is what I was interested in. I felt that if I had gone with Slabworks I would have been treated in a professional manner with excellent communication. For me, it came down to price. I found another company with a lower price and chose to go with them. Slabworks price was mid range out of the 5 quotes I got. So a very decent price. But for me, this was a basement project and not a kitchen, budget was king.

8 months later I discovered while deep cleaning my
cabinets And that the underside of the countertop is covered in either brown glue or grout. I emailed and texted pictures and asked about suggestions on how to get it off. It's not noticeable unless you're sitting on the floor but just knowing it's there and that they did sloppy work bothers me for how much I paid. I never received a response which was disappointing. I'm currently using a razor blade to scrape it off slowly. The pictures attached aren't even the worst of it...

I really wanted to like this company and they did some things right. Josh was very friendly and responsive. He returned calls quickly and answered all of my questions. Josh came out and measured my kitchen and promptly sent me an estimate. I agreed to the cost and the fabricator came out to measure a few days later. The next day josh called with a revised estimate that was $2,300 higher (original estimate $3,472, revised estimate $5,785). The explanation was that he had not measured correctly. I spoke to Nick the owner and he apologized but offered no solution. Meanwhile I have no countertops or sink and have wasted a week. I have totally lost faith in this company and will be getting my countertops done by someone else. A disappointing waste of time.

Does Slabworks of Denver offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Slabworks of Denver performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Slabworks of Denver provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Slabworks of Denver, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Slabworks of Denver in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
