We initially worked with another vendor for our counters based on a recommendation from our contractor. This other vendor was a nightmare and we eventually had our counters removed. As a result, we were in a rush to find replacement counters. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Slabworks highly enough.
Adriana was helpful, informative, and prompt in facilitating our order and managing the project. The crew they sent to both measure and install the counters were just excellent: on time, professional, and they did an absolutely fantastic job installing our counters. They fit SO much better (against our admittedly somewhat wonky walls) than the mess we had before, and our undermount sink cutout is perfect.
Because we selected a material that was in stock, we had our counters installed in 2-1/2 weeks from the day I walked into the showroom. We are so appreciative for the workmanship, excellent customer service, and affordable pricing from Slabworks. 10/10 would purchase from them again!

Fantastic!.. From tear out to installation of our new quartzite countertops. The tear out crew was amazing they had our old tops out so quickly not a crack or broken piece and no issues with the tile backsplash. They cleaned everything up like they were never there. The template and installation crew was equally as good. So professional they wanted very much to make sure everything was just like we wanted. We have another project already in the works, highly recommend Slabworks!

Adriana and team were great helping us decide on a new quartz countertop for our remodel. I sent examples of what we were looking forward and she gave us options and we could go see them in person, which helped us make our final decision. They also helped with a fireplace hearth. I recommend them for your next project.

Acting as secret shoppers, our analysts contacted the company with a request for the fabrication and installation of a stone countertop measuring 83.4 square feet. A company representative informed us that the entire project could be completed in just 7 business days, which allowed us to categorize this contractor as having a fast turnaround time.
Please note that the timeframe quoted to our secret shopper may differ from what you are offered, as the production timeline depends on many factors — including project complexity, chosen material, and the company’s current workload. We recommend confirming the current timeline directly by submitting a request, calling, or messaging the contractor through our website.

It’s important to note that the time required to prepare an estimate may vary depending on the company’s current workload, the complexity of the project, and the chosen material. We recommend submitting a request, calling, or messaging the company through our website to get a personalized quote and clarify the current turnaround time.
Does Slabworks offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Slabworks performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Slabworks provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Slabworks, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Slabworks in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
