General information about Sarto Countertops
Sarto Countertops provides the fastest service possible. Laser measurements and calculations take up to three days, including the on-home visit of a specialist. If it is necessary, they can order any material for your countertop, which will be delivered within a week. They fabricate and install new countertops or can replace an old ones. Technical workers provide plumbing service, including disconnecting and connecting of dishwashing machines. Sarto Countertops has two showrooms and a warehouse in St. Marys and surrounding area, where samples of stone and design are presented. To whom it may concern; I wanted to at least send an email because clicking 5 “stars” doesn’t begin to describe how we felt about the service we got from the team at Sarto Countertops. Everyone we came in contact with was very professional and courteous. From picking out our samples, to the measuring of the areas, to the arrival of our countertops; everyone was very helpful and patient. Especially patient were the brothers installing our counter tops. They didn’t seem to mind my constant hovering while they did their jobs superbly. They also answered my many questions without becoming exasperated or having to slow down in their work. All aspects of the “fit and finish” for the install exceeded our expectations. Our kitchen looks marvelous! By the time the invoice came, we knew that we had gotten an exceptional deal. I work for a company where exceptional customer service is the standard we shoot for. You and your employees have attained that goal.

First, I'll share the positive. Laura at the Lenexa showroom was extremely helpful and patient as we selected our quartz countertops, changed our mind, and changed our mind again. I really appreciate all of her assistance. The other positive is that the folks at Sarto do really good work. The workmanship is great and the measurement and installation people were all very good to work with. If I was basing this review only on those considerations, it would would be 5 stars. However... My two negatives are: 1) We received a call on Monday that they were coming the next day to install. This was BEFORE we had approved the final layout and the installation was scheduled without checking to see if we were even available that day. Then, a second time the project manager scheduled installation without calling us to see if we were available. It seems like basic common sense that you check with the customer to find a mutually convenient date before scheduling the installation. 2) What will probably keep me from working with them in the future, however, is they require full payment up front. Half is required before they will come out and measure and the other half is due before the installation. We were not told that upfront and it came as a surprise when they required the second payment. We've worked with a lot of businesses on our home renovation and Sarto is the ONLY one that required full payment before the project was complete. They say they've been "burned" in the past by people who didn't pay, but all other businesses have found a way to deal with that. I can point to many customers who likewise have been burned by contractors after paying large deposits. Requiring half upfront and half after the project is complete equally spreads the risk. Because of that policy, I won't recommend Sarto even though I'm happy with the work they did.

I had one of the most remarkable experiences working with Sarto for my new kitchen countertops. There are few companies who do everything well and don't leave a customer hanging - from pre-sales and product & design selection, the measurement/templating experience, to delivery & install. Through and through the communication channels were always open, everyone I talked to was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. I know who I needed to contact and for what when the time was appropriate and I felt that whoever I talked to immediately knew my job among the very many Sarto must be working on. I appreciate that whoever I talked to not only knew their piece of the process but had a high level view of things in case I asked a question and it had to be routed to someone else. I encountered issues with my install date because our building elevator was down twice but re-scheduling with Sarto was a quick simple call and removed any anxiety of having to wait because re-scheduled dates were usually the next day. Thanks for a truly memorable, positive experience!

I purchased granite countertops 6 years ago with the original owner... He was amazing.... With the new owner A couple months ago I tried to purchase countertops during their remnant sale ... I tried to make a deal that was good for the both of us but they did not want anything to do with it.... This was a remnant sale.... It was their way or the highway.... I recommend Kansas City... Lot more competition .... I paid $2200 for 40 sqft ... For good quality granite... DO NOT GO TO Sartos

I do not recommend buying your countertops from this outfit. Their installation was awful! The onsite "Laser-templated" layout produced such a poor fit that you didn't even need a tape measure to verify that the overhangs were uneven. You could just look down the line of drawer pulls to see it. The seams were visible from across the room and could be felt by just sliding your hand across the surface. Their "correction" thus far was to gouge out the seam and fill it with epoxy that now looks like a 1/8" wide white strip. They also drilled the faucet hole directly in front of my window crank that would have made the operation of the window impossible once the faucet was installed. Spent your hard-earned dollars elsewhere.
