Stopped in today looking for some options with regard to kitchen countertops. Jess greeted me warmly and professionally. She listened to everything I was looking for, asked great questions, then showed me to the gallery. We looked at the slabs and I saw the one I could not live without. Jess did the measurements and wrote up the contract. I was so pleased with the transaction and interaction. Highly recommend both Rockfab and Jess!! Update 02/07/24: RockFab installed the new kitchen countertops today. They are beautiful: I could not have hoped for a better outcome. The entire crew, from sales to templating to installation, was professional (but not snooty!) and respectful of our home and pets. RockFab will be my first and only choice when she renovate the Master Bath next year. Thanks, RockFab!!

This company is awesome, from the moment I walked through the door I was treated with first class service. Dave and Jess explained everything exactly concerning their procedure and pricing. They showed up exactly when they said they would, made perfect templates, and then again for the install. They provided me with what they stated, and no hidden cost. I originally went to Rockfab because they have been in the same location for over 30 years, and decided to use them due too their total professionalism, as I said that was evident as soon as I walked through the door. I would recommend Rockfab to anyone and would be happy to use them again on future projects. FYI I am a construction Superintendent and have seen both ends of the spectrum, and Rockfab is top of the line.

We are SO pleased with our new Rockfab countertops. We had a tricky redo, as we wanted to keep existing cabinetry in a c.1900 home. Rockfab did not disappoint with their creative plan and advice as to how to maintain the period look of the kitchen. Before and after photos attached! Thanks team!!

I am very pleased with the work done by Rockfab. I had a new countertop, new backsplash, and new lighting throughout my kitchen. It turned out wonderfully and best of all they did exactly what I expected, and the technicians who came to my house for various tasks were professional, courteous, and competent.

The selection and quality of the granite, the design and finishing, and the installation was beyond exceptional. The staff and employees were so helpful in answering questions I had along the way! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We had a great experience. We were not the typical kitchen remodelers as we wanted to save by installing and assembling the cabinets ourselves and having them do the countertops. I was pretty sure that, because we weren’t “big spenders”, we would get sub-par service but I was wrong. Morgan helped turn our vision into a reality, they lived up to the timetable they set and we couldn’t be happier with the results. This was the second time we used Rockfab and we would do it again.

Best prices in town and large inventory to select from. Everything happened as originally scheduled, except the measurements where done ahead of schedule. Installation went quickly and the team cleaned up everything. The stone transformed the kitchen.

It's nice when a vendor does what they say they will do, on time, on budget, and with the highest of quality. Their customer service and account manager for our account was wonderful to work with. I definitely recommend them to anyone considering granite counter installation in their home or business.

Rockfab was great from start to finish. The selection is second to none and the staff was extremely helpful and patient while we made our selection. The measurement and installation team were very professional and friendly. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase. Thank you!

They have the best prices in town. Other businesses charge more and give less. I like that I can see the actual slab in person that will be going into my project. Other places give you a 2ft by 2ft sample on a wall and expect you to extrapolate, and don’t let you see your slab. Rockfab uses state of the art tools and they show you a diagram of the layout prior to cutting, so you know exactly where the grain pattern will fall. Employees are friendly. I’m glad I chose Rockfab!

What a gem this place is! I was dreading picking out the tile/flooring for a bathroom remodel, and after having been to RockFab to peruse once, we also looked at two other stores. There is no comparison in choices, availability, and help at RockFab. Elissa and Cassandra were fantastic in helping me center in on the best picks, swapping out multiple selections and giving great advice from obvious experience. I'm thrilled and can't wait to see it all come together. Thank you folks at RockFab!!

Rockfab has done a great remodel of our kitchen, laundry room, foyer, and two bathrooms. I love every detail of the final project and would not change anything! We went into the showroom and knew almost immediately that this was the company we would use. The entire staff was involved in helping us plan and select all of our cabinets, hardware, countertops, and flooring. Elissa came to our house and gave us the original estimates. She and Kelly pulled samples and made suggestions. When a few of our original choices were unavailable, they found other options. When our choices weren't so great, they tactfully offered other samples to consider. Contracts were written and approved, Jimmy Benton came to make final measurements, material was ordered, and work began. Jimmy told us that no major remodel was without delays, mess and unexpected issues. This did happen. Some things took longer to be shipped than we expected, a couple of things came in wrong and had to be shipped again, some workers were unexpectedly sick. But Rockfab and Patrick always let us know, responded quickly to our concerns, and made certain jobs were done right. The workers who came were wonderful. I can't say enough about them. They were, without exception, excellent craftsmen, friendly, reliable, and considerate of our house. We were comfortable having them come to the 9house when we were out of town. We would, without hesitation, use Rockfab and entire team again Two years later: We still love our renovation! No problems, still beautiful, still perfect!

Best customer service around!! Large selection & very helpful. I traveled from WV just to get a slab for my Master bath remodel, that was specially milled to fit my shower bench. If you’re looking to do a kitchen or bath remodel or install they are your people!!

We have had a wonderful experience at Rockfab Kitchen and Baths in Roanoke, VA. Morgan was a wonderful help in picking out countertops (material) and helping us coordinate the backsplash and feature insert behind the stove. She gave us plenty of time and space to browse through their extensive show room and answered any and all questions we had. The laser measurement technician was great and very friendly. He explained everything he did and again answered all of our questions He spoke so highly of his work environment and his employers that it made us extra happy that we'd gone with Rockfab for this very important part of the new kitchen. The installers and scheduler were fantastic to work with as well. Everything was done the way we were told it would be and in a timely fashion. We're heading back soon to order the tile for the backsplash and are happy we'll get to visit with the staff at Rockfab once more. We heartily recommend these great folks for your next remodel or build.

Love love love our new kitchen!!! And Jimmy and Elissa might be the nicest people we've ever worked with. First, we had been trying to find a contractor for the last two years. Some were way too expensive. Some would have taken too long. Others we just didn't have a great feeling about it never responded. When we first walked into Rockfab, we loved the showroom and the people. Second, they were so flexible. We were in the middle of working on a quote when our daughter got engaged. That delayed us almost a year but when we went back in January, Rockfab was ready and willing to help! And work with our budget. Third, this is quality work. Class A contractor, attention to detail, cares about their work. We had some structural work we didn't anticipate, but it had to be done. (You never know what you'll find when the walls get opened up and you look under the subfloor!). We could not be happier. And we are so glad we met Elissa and Jimmy!

First, let me say that the only reason i gave 4 stars is because of some communication issues that we had during the installation process that prevented me from giving Rockfab a 5 star. However, I highly recommend Rockfab to anyone looking at new countertops and backsplash. My wife and I decided to replace our laminate countertop and wanted to have a backsplash put in as well. Since we were going to be doing that remodel, we wanted to get all new sink, faucet, dishwasher and garbage disposal. I wanted a turnkey process where i could go to one place and get everything done in one place. Rockfab was the place. They coordinated the countertop install as well as the plumbing and electrical work needed. We started out looking at Home Depot and Lowes and were mostly looking at Quartz countertops. After doing some research i was looking at Rockfab and decided to go there. After looking anther extensive granite showroom where you could look at the full size slabs, we fell in love with a granite countertop. Their selection of backsplash is excellent and we found a backsplash we liked. All along the process, Susan did a great job of helping us coordinate the granite we picked and the backsplash color. After getting a quote I was pleasantly surprised that I was paying less than i would have at a big box store like Home Depot and i had a great selection of products and service to back it up. Again, I would recommend Rockfab to anyone!!

Kitchen countertops were just put on and left. They left a big gap against the wall!! When we called they said they no longer caulk!! This is not a completed job if we have to finish it!! We purchased the sink from them but Morgan neglected to ask us about the plumbing. We were left with no connections and no water!! We either had to pay another $750 or find our own plumber!!

The Rockfab owner/project manager's response is focused on attacking thencustomer instead of addressing the deficiencies within the organization. We are either very naive or have been very lucky in working with contractors on numerous previous projects. We were shocked by the treatment by Rockfab and see more of the same in the overall response by the owner who continues to demonstrate unprofessional conduct. The response is just an attack and does not address the issues. There issues are: - The apparent lack of manage control over the sales person allowing significantly over ordering materials. Question is also whether the materials order impacted the labor cost? (The overage for the tiles for instance was 27% and 48% respectively for the large tiles and the border tiles.) - The apparent lack of quality control of checking materials before sending to the client site. - The lack of proactive client management to resolve issues before the problems occur. The apparent lack of project management is demonstrated by: - Project manager/owner not onsite before the project start to address expectations. - The project manager was not onsite at any time during the critical dismantling stage. - The Dismantling team was not briefed on details of the dismantling. - The Dismantling team seemly not experienced with moving appliances and damaged the powder room wall. - The Installation team did not have knowledge of the requirements. The requirements were somewhat complex and explained in detail during the many meetings and thru client developed drawings with the sales person. The two main Impacts on the complexity were the consistent border and the mitre cuts for intersections of the border. - The Project Manager was only on site briefly once during the entire process. He has not seen the final result. - There was no customer acceptance process with the Project Manager reviewing the completed project with the client against the expectations. The client management process was significantly flawed. Expectations were not managed and ultimately the company ownership used the contract as the client management tool. When mistakes were made by the various teams, there was no one who said to the client, "How can we fix this?". Having to argue over the excess materials and not being offered a refund, especially for materials not even sent to the site was truly ridiculous. As noted previously, the owner/project manager was on site once and has not seen the finished product. The results certainly are not "beautiful". We are so disappointed in the results. Exiting the relationship with Rockfab seemed to be the only solution since the owner is unable or unwilling to address the problems. Several specific items have been mentioned and the attached pictures give real facts to fit the situation. - Installation was delayed 5 days given that there was no check of the materials before sending to the site. As noted, new materials were ordered and not delivered for 5 days after dismantling. The result was the unnecessary living environment, including lots of dust throughout the house. - The wall of the powder room was damaged by the dismantling team. 2 lag bolts were pulled thru the wall instead of being unscrewed and removed causing the damage. This is likely the "$1000 plumping" previously mentioned. This work was in fact repairs to damage created by the Rockfab dismantling team. - The quality of the final installation was disappointing and there has been no inspection by the Rockfab project manager. Several pictures show the border that was to be consistent at appropriately 3.5 inches. In reality the border fluctuates between 3 and 11 inches. No one would praise as "beautiful" after viewing the sloppy results. - The materials list shows the original order and also what remained. We previously saved 1 box of each type of tile (to repair future damage) so excess was 12 boxes of the 16x16 and 5 boxes of the border tiles. Therefore, the overage was 27% of the large tiles and 48% of the border tiles, respectively. There was no installation of the "Schulter" and this material never arrived onsite.

For those of you who would like more information regarding my review of Rockfab go to their Facebook page and click on reviews. Our review was entered on April 28, 2021. I'm not sure where the owner is getting her information but we had made it very clear from the beginning that it should not have taken 7+ week to attain an estimate. There was never an attempt made to call us or email us to let us know the status of our estimate. I did mention the price in the very first paragraph only for one reason. In 2020 when we first received an estimate we didn't go forward at the time due to Covid. In March 2021 we went back to Rockfab and we told Kelly the representative what our budget was and asked if they had any products that would meet our needs. She proceeded to show us new products. If these products could not meet our budget why even show us. Then it took them 7+ weeks to give us an estimate that was again over our budget. Why waste our time and their time if it couldn't have been met. We would have been fine knowing that they couldn't meet our budget. If you go to their FB page and read our comments and theirs you will see that Elissa, the VP, has a way of twisting the issue to be something it wasn't.

I contacted Rock Fab to inquire about kitchen and bathroom remodels. An appointment was made with rock Fab. We were told Lisa, a VP at Rock Fab, was going to meet us and go over our needs/wants. On the day of the appointment, Lisa cancelled the appointment because they stated Rock Fab does not perform remodeling for less than $25,000. This is their choice and I do not have an issue with their business model. How did Lisa and Rock Fab know the remodel cost without meeting with the customer to go over the remodel plans? From my research, remodeling a bathroom, moving the kitchen to another location in the home, removing walls, raising ceilings costs more than $25,000. Did all these people which provided reviews have $25,000 worth of counter tops installed. That is a lot of counter top. Rock Fab should state upfront they do not perform remodels for less than $25,000.
