I am so happy that I wandered into Rock Tops and found Connie. She is such a gem and I felt comfortable that I found the right place for our new countertops. Connie was so helpful and such a pleasure to work with on this project. She truly took the stress out of the process. The store has product from numerous vendors that can be ordered by the slab, and a selection of material that can be ordered by the SF. We were able to use two slabs of quartz but also used "in-stock" material for the two bathrooms. I loved the convenience of a one-stop-shop. Just pick out your material and Rock Tops does the rest...measure, fabricate and install. Our new countertops look great. I am very happy that I met Connie at Rock Tops. I would highly recommend going in to see Connie if you are looking for new countertops.

Connie at Rock Tops is absolutely amazing. I called her out of the blue when i decided i wanted new countertops. I called her to get rough pricing and based on the numbers she gave me i literally left my house and drove down to her office. Her and I went through counter tops for well over an hour and she even stayed late to help me pick the right counter top for me.
I had limited time to get everything installed and she helped get everything set up as quickly as possible. With in 2 weeks i had my kitchen laser measured and my countertops installed.
I have hated my old counter tops for 6 years and within 2 weeks Connie helped me LOVE my kitchen again.
Thank you for everything. I truly appreciate my entire experience from beginning to end!

What an awesome experience! Connie was friendly and extremely helpful when we walked into the Sandy store. They came and measured within 2 weeks, and 10 days later I had beautiful new countertops. They have a great selection with several in stock. I highly recommend Rock Tops!

Connie at Rock Tops is THE person to work with for countertops. She is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and so much more. I spoke with many companies before finding them and she sealed the deal with just one phone call. Rock Tops, I hope you appreciate what an asset she is to the company! We are looking forward to our new countertops!
Update: I love everything about this company. They did a great job from start to finish. Absolutely the best choice for our little kitchen renovation.

The install team installed every piece of countertops crooked. They say that if they come back to fix them, and accidentally break the piece they’re fixing, they will just glue it together and won’t replace the piece.
We ordered Calcutta Ultra. The pieces we received for our island and our perimeter cabinets look completely different. The perimeter cabinet countertop pieces and backsplash pieces look nothing like the sample in the store or the manufacturer website. And they also look completely different from the island.
We were told “You ordered Calcutta Ultra, you got Calcutta Ultra. If you don’t like it that’s your fault.” As if what was installed looked ANYTHING like what any of the samples looked like.
When we asked for them to come look at it, the employee who came to look at it was condescending and rude for 30 minutes. And even after measuring the countertops install jobs, admitting that they were installed poorly, and saying how they would fix it, he then told us that if the pieces broke while being fixed they wouldn’t be replaced. When we said that wouldn’t be acceptable, he said “Maybe they weren’t installed incorrectly in the first place. Maybe it’s just that your cabinets aren’t square” We said “Anyone who walks in here can see they’re crooked. And you just used a measuring tape and admitted that they weren’t installed correctly.”
After being called out for his unprofessional behavior, he stormed out of our house and slammed the door so hard on his way out that our floor shook.
And this company still won’t give us a written guarantee that they will replace pieces if they break them while fixing their bad install.
Negligent work, unprofessional attitudes, inconsistency in the quality of the pieces, and bad communication/scheduling.
It is not an exaggeration to say that this is by far the worst company I’ve ever done business with.
Leave countertops to the professionals, Rock Tops are not professionals. Hire literally anyone else to do them.

Installers showed up 2 hours early. Broken slabs, chipped and crumbling granite. Absolute train wreck of an experience. Do not trust the Google reviews and look elsewhere

I would never recommend this company! I honestly don’t know how they are still in business. You’ll notice if they have a good review, it’s several years old. I think it’s safe to say that things aren’t what they used to be at Rock Tops. We just finished building a custom home and Rock Tops was by far the worst company we have ever worked with. We have 8 bathrooms and they literally messed up every single one of them. They templated the sinks in 7 bathrooms wrong even though we had every sink & faucet sitting in the bathrooms when they came to template. They said they programmed the wrong sink into their system. Then, in the master bath, when they drilled holes for the faucet, it created bruising or fissures in the quartzite that were too big to be covered by the faucet. They proposed cutting that rectangle piece out and putting a new piece in knowing it would look like a Frankenstein fix. We politely declined that. Instead of us demanding that they replace every countertop in every bathroom, we were willing to accommodate them and find new sinks to fit the wrong holes they cut. Instead of them finding the correct sinks, they had our builder and designer go find them at an additional cost to us. THEN THEY TRIED TO MAKE US PAY FOR THE NEW SINKS!!! We saved them tens of thousands of dollars by not making them fix their mistake and they tried to charge us for sinks. The mitered edge of the quartzite in the master bath was cracked and they just tried to glue the pieces together. One side has the backsplash matching up to the countertop, the other side is offset by a few inches. The owner, Blair Schmoekel said, “That’s how it is supposed to be done.” Their install crew let the sealant drip down the fronts of our brand new cabinets and onto our new hardwood floors. We spent hours cleaning it up. We purchased two slabs of quartzite for our island. Rock Tops cracked one during install and said it was normal for that to happen because it’s natural stone. Then, a month later they said it was always there and we knew about it. The crack is 30” long and they attempted to fix it by applying an epoxy onto a white quartzite which did nothing but highlight the crack. The island is the centerpiece of our home and is such a disappointment. They installed a piece of quartzite completely unlevel in our kitchen. They acknowledged it was wrong initially, but when they realized we had already installed tile backsplash and they would have to fix that too, they blamed it on the cabinet company. This company does nothing but blame others.
We tried for months to get them just to come look at all of the issues. We texted and called and sent emails. They would never respond. They had their billing person send an email to let us know we were required to pay them in full before they would finish the job. I have worked for a custom home builder and a law office, and we have built homes before. We don’t play that game. Next thing we knew, they filed a lien. After they realized they were getting nowhere with the lien, the owner Blair sent an email threatening to foreclose on our house. HaHa, our attorney fell over laughing when he heard that. Their hope is that they can threaten and scare customers into paying so the customers can close on their construction loans. Matt Earle, our sales person, who had ignored calls & texts for months, eventually called our builder to ask when we were planning on closing on our construction loan. When our builder informed him we didn’t need to close on a loan, magically the owner wanted to talk. He offered to come to our house the next day so we could resolve the issues. This is all we had asked for from the beginning but Blair doesn’t run his company like that. He only uses avoidance, finger pointing and fear tactics because that’s what you do when you’re in the wrong. When Blair came to our house and we started showing him the numerous issues, instead of apologizing or taking any responsibility, he said, “I’m not here for a lecture.”
Imagine the owner of a company behaving like that!
He looked at everything and blamed it on everyone else. Said he would fix some things but not others, but only if we signed a settlement that we wouldn’t share our experience. In the end we decided we didn’t want this dishonest, unethical company to touch one more thing in our home. With their track record we feared they would leave it worse off and create more problems. We felt it was much more important to share what we went through so others wouldn't have to. We did not pay for the new sinks we had to purchase to fix their screw up, but on the final invoice they listed the credit as “material not used in the kitchen.” They didn’t want us to have any proof that they, a countertop fabricator and installer, templated every sink wrong. More games. We made them fix that. We paid them, didn’t sign anything, and told them to come pick up the check. Of course Blair wanted the money but didn’t dare show his face, so he sent Darin who was so kind to apologize for all that had happened. He said he had been pushing for them to do the right thing for months. Darin is a kind, honest man with morals. A month later, the lien was still on our house. We emailed Blair to let him know he had 48 hours to remove the false lien or we would pursue legal action and he responded like his typical egotistical self, saying he will no longer speak to us. That’s the Blair we all know! We had to go and pay to get the false lien removed from our home. It’s the only lien we’ve ever had. Their game is to have you sign a release before they will do any work. This release basically gives them an out if ANYTHING goes wrong. So please take our word for it, and the words of many others who have written similar reviews, and save yourself a lot of stress, disappointment & costly delays. DO NOT USE ROCK TOPS!
