They just got done building my dream kitchen, all I can say is wow!!! Everyone of the Staff I got the pleasure of meeting was professional, courteous and patient. Why patient? We had a million questions and they answered them all! Were there cons? Of course with any large project. 1. Project started later than expected ( worth the wait) 2. Remember you can never over communicate. We have another project and they will be our first pick!

We had three rooms and closets done w/ new flooring. Erin was very knowledgeable when she came and immediately helped us pick out the flooring. It took 3 days and 2 hrs but Sean did it! He was sent by himself to rip out rugs and do all the work and he was always courteous and friendly. Sean removed the three rooms of furniture by himself too! There were days he worked right through and didn’t eat lunch! When there were glitches such as closet door needed to be adjusted he let us know immediately so we could see what was happening. Sean is an amazing worker and as of right now we are pleased with everything.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been working with them to get new countertops and new tile in my house. I did the financing and found out that they get all their money before the job is even started. They have been very hard to communicate with often it’s over text messages. I have been waiting for a month for someone to come and fix 2 tiles that have popped just a few weeks after installation. I have had a total of 5 tiles pop loose after installation. They have fixed 3 of them even though now those tiles are higher than the other ones so you can see that they have been replaced. I keep getting told someone is coming but so far that hasn’t happened. They were supposed to come Friday 1/19 and no one showed. I was told someone would be here today and so far I have seen no one. Also they scratched my refrigerator during the move to pull up the old tile. I keep getting the run around on fixing or replacing the refrigerator. The door has a large scratch along with both handles. They got 8200 dollars from me which is apparently still not enough to receive good customer service. Please save yourself the time and headache and find another company to use. I have even texted and called the owner with absolutely no response.

A big thanks to the team at Rivera's Flooring, Kitchens and More. Chandler and Johnny from the Construction Division headed up the rescue mission. They arrived with everything needed and quickly resolved my issues. I appreciated their timeliness as going without water is no fun. Professional and true tradesmen. Thank you gentlemen!

We could not have been more pleased with our choice in contractors. We were pleased with everyone that we worked with from store staff to the workers who came to our home. They were very professional, kind, knowledgeable and went above and beyond. They do absolutely beautiful work! We would recommend Rivera's to anyone and are looking forward to working with them again in the future. I've added a few before and after photos so that you can see what beautiful work they perform.

I requested an estimate in early July 2023. Signed a contract at the the end of July and was told someone would call to schedule the job and I was required to give a deposit of half of what the job was supposedly to cost which according to my bank was cashed by the business the same day they received it. No one called to schedule the work needing to be completed. I had to hound them and call almost every week. Only for them then to finally answer the phone and say that they didn’t see that I had called previously and that they had fired the contractor that did my original quote due to shady business practices. What that has to do with the customer I’m not sure. They then said they would send out Brian the cabinet design guy because the notes on the original quote did not make sense. At this point it’s the end of August. After sending someone else out to my home they dragged their feet for another week. When they finally scheduled someone to come, he did not complete the original work quoted and stated that it was unnecessary. Okay fine but they still took my deposit which was not equivalent to the work that was completed. I called the same day the contractor came out to do those minimal repairs for clarification which was Monday Sept 11th and the lady that answered the phone said someone would call me back. Did they? No. Wednesday September 13th I called again because I still had not heard from them and the lady that answered said that I had no reason to be mad and rude. She said they took off an extra $500 and said someone would call me back. The work completed was not even $1000 of work and keep in mind they already cashed my $2500 deposit before they even scheduled the work for my kitchen island rebuild. I simply want a detailed invoice of what I was charged for. Today is Thursday September 14th over 2 and half months from original quote and I have called them again and no one answered so I left a message. How do you take someone’s money, use it towards operating expenses and push them to the side when running a business? Run far away from this company! I am a veteran on a fixed income and they seem to only want your money and to deliver unsubstantiated work. Quite seriously the work could have been done by someone else sooner but they sat on it and pocketed my deposit and now refuse to make good on returning phone calls.

Do NOT use. Only care about taking money, does not care at all about the workmanship. Hires people with little experience and provides them with zero oversight. A 5-8 week project left us with no kitchen for 12 weeks, nothing was done correctly. Drywall work is terrible, windows, door, cabinets and countertop were all installed unlevel. Not to mention the windows installed are not the ones we purchased. Broke the wheels on our fridge, broke our thermostat - never fixed them. Grout for the flooring is terrible, missing, and got it all over the bottom of the new cabinets. The list could go on and on. We have waited 10 months for Barrett to call back and make it right, but he got all of his money so no call backs. Pictures speak a thousand words so I’ll share SOME of those and let the rest of you decide. I wasn’t going to post this but he left me with no option since he does not want to do right by customers and others need to be aware before spending their money!

I subcontracted Rivera's for a commercial job. We were kind of in a bind because the job needed to be done fast before a VP showed up to a corporate site for his yearly visit. They got us on the schedule while communicating and providing all necessary insurance and safety documents. Rivera's prices were reasonable, they showed up on time. Their crew was professional and clean. The quality of work met our standards at Vortex. We will use Rivera in the future! Thank you RIVERA"S!

Unfortunately, the initial lack of communication and follow up response to our quotation inquiry should've been our red flag to steer clear. We went against our better judgement and agreed to do business with Rivera's because they had good reviews and economic pricing. We ended up receiving subpar work. We communicated this to them on multiple occasions via phone calls to the office about our concerns. While initial talk was made that they could possibly send someone to only clean up the grout around the edges, there was no formal accountability nor agreement and/or compensation given. The communication died out from Rivera's with no subsequent follow-ups nor talk regarding the unacceptable work quality. The remaining balance was not charged to the original payment card as what was communicated to us previously as what would happen upon completion. No other contact was made by either parties until Rivera's audited their books and subsequently sent a compulsory bill for the remainder of the subpar work without further communication for a remedy. We are just so disappointed and regret working with them as we are now stuck with inadequate, uneven, poorly grouted, and just messily laid tile flooring in a bedroom which needs to be utilized in our home.

No job to small, if you need anything, call them first and you will get kind and friendly contractors that will make you happy. We finally got rid of our 30 year old lights and place them with updated fixtures. They also installed ventilation. I highly recommend them so why wait, call them today and be happy!

My mother contracted this company to build a handicap bathroom for my VA disabled stepfather. They never came out never got work started before he passed away December 2 of 2023. She has been in touch with his company repeated times and this was supposed to be returned back to the VA. Sadly thought it was taken care of until she notice the other day that the VA will be suing her, and she has 30 days to return the money. Obviously as a spouse deceased veteran, her benefits haven’t even started at this time and barely surviving. Now she’s dealing with this company before she sued by our veterans department. I’ve stepped in and been speaking with Carly since last week with still no resolution in site. Buyers beware!!! I guess we’re gonna have to contact News as well as an attorney. Tried to attach letters from the VA unfortunately cannot get the images to upload, but if anybody like to see the documentation, I’d be happy to share !

We had previously used Rivera Electric and were extremely happy with the results so when we decided to do a little upgrade to our bathroom, some lighting, granite vanity and new medicine cabinets we called Rivera construction and got a bid for the job. We worked with Erin and she coordinated all the different specialists from the stone people to plumber to drywall and electrical. Along the way we only had one issue we were unhappy with and she sent the contractor back to to take care of the problem until we were completely satisfied. The job was finished and once again exceeded all expectations and really reasonable prices. Used to get multiple estimates to hire a contractor but at this point Rivera will be our go to company!!!

We called Rivera's plumbing team to hook up our new sink after another plumbing company couldn't figure it out. Not only did they come out the next day, the work looks nice and professional, better than it did originally. They have also been the only contractor who has done work in our home and left the area they worked in cleaner than they started. Rivera's will be our only go to plumber.

I highly recommend Rivera's Flooring located in Brooksville, Florida. Here's why: 1. They have a store in town. 2. They have been around a long time. 3. They have veteran installers working for them. 4. They are extremely attentive to their customers' concerns. 5. If the customer has any problem or concern, they are right on it and take care of business immediately. Do you think you are going to find that on craigslist? Certainly not. The floor they installed in my home looks beautiful and is top notch. I am extremely satisfied that I patronized this place and they exceeded my expectations, I must admit. Spencer Colgan

Riveras recently did a bath remodel for me. I'm very pleased with the work they did for me. The Riveras crew was easy to work with as well as kept communication as to what would be happening. The project was completed in a timely manner. This is the third time I have used this company. I will continue to use them with future projects. Highly recommended

We recently had new quartzite counter tops and a new farm sink installed. The selection was more than ample, we worked with Alex and he was great. Unfortunately they had a piece if trim and to reattach the dishwasher and we had a medical issue arise so we had to put them on hold, the sink and counter tops look perfect we are so pleased at the results so we paid for everything in full, Alex said just call and they would be back to finish up. Well we called back in about 3 weeks they came back out in 2 days finished up , I never thought they would be back for such small thing but they were happy to. This business is a quality, freindly, fair priced and honest. I most certainly will call them first on my next project. In short we love the way everything turned out and doing business with Rivera's

Rivera's does more than just flooring and kitchens! We wanted a quick, professional makeover to our home and we chose Rivera's. Barrett is great to work with and his team of contractors are top notch. They provide quality work and are respectful and fun to have around. They even clean up after themselves! Barrett stays right on top of the project and stops by often to get our feedback. His pricing is reasonable and fair, and when something unexpected pops up, he works with us and doesn't try to take advantage. I highly recommend "Rivera's Flooring, Kitchens & More" for quality workmanship, professionalism, and speed.

Rivera's installed new countertops in our kitchen and two bath rooms to perfection, they are gorgeous! The backsplash we picked out was put up to our specs and it turned out beautiful. Than they installed LVP throughout the house, with carpeting in the four bedrooms. I can tell you Barret Rivera is a very focused person that is very involved with his customers. He was here numerous times as was his project manager. I have no complaints everything that was down is just great. I do highly recommend Rivera's Flooring, Kitchens and More

Had a new vinyl floor installed whole house. My office floor do to the chair started to lift. Called Rivera's for a repair at our expense, it wasn't their fault, Sent out a serviceman to see exactly what they could do for us. Serviceman said he would notify office and get back to us. It's been months with many, many calls to see if they could schedule a repair. Very disappointing, so now trying to find someone who actually will come out to repair floor. Will not recommend them.

The worker's did an outstanding job, however I was told it should take 3 to 5 days to complete a partial bathroom renovation which took over 6 weeks with zero scheduling, coordinating or communication from the project manager. They would send workers without notice. They installed the new cabinet first, the workers stained and scratched the inside of the top drawer as if it were the cabinet to be removed. There were no suggestions or guidance for any of the project and now that their work is finally complete, the messy walls from drywall replacements needs to be painted to make the job complete, they do not offer full renovation sevices for a complete project, but if they did it would probably take another two months to paint. They're poor project management, poor organization and planning, poor scheduling, coordinating and communication skills has me quite surprised they are still in business.

We had flooring replaced in our Brookville home and less than two years later, the planks began to buckle and separate. It took a lot of calls to the shop and leaving messages with the singularly unhelpful staff to finally get Barrett to text me. He dragged his feet for another month until finally going out to take a look and measure the damaged areas. Then, crickets. I've called and texted, but he must have blocked me because nothing. The materials were still under the manufacturer's warranty when I initially spoke with him, and he gave me a spiel about how the manufacturer likely would not honor it. (Why in the world would a business partner with a supplier that doesn't honor its warranties?). If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is trash.

We used Rivera's for a project replacing carpet with glued down engineered wood flooring in 2016. We were happy with the results and posted a review as such. It made logical sense to go back to them for another flooring project. We should have checked current reviews, big mistake. Our December 2022 project was to remove glued down engineered wood floor and replace with another glued down engineered wood floor. Here are some of the issues we encountered: * It took 2 1/2 months after taking our 50% deposit to begin the project. Getting a definite schedule was difficult at best. * A 7 to 10 day project turned into 6 weeks. * Rivera's did not follow the manufacturers procedures for removing old glue and wood chips from the old floor. They poured self-leveling concrete over old glue, put new glue, and then the new boards. Their process left us with a huge number of boards that have gapping on the ends and overwood (boards are not level with the board next to it). Two inspection reports, one paid for by us and the other paid for by the flooring manufacturer, identified the issues we have are not within industry standards and provided photos and quantified the extent out of specifications. Note that it took several attempts and months to get a copy of the manufacturer's inspection report from the manufacturer. * Rivera's practices did not include protection of furnishings, walls, HVAC system, carpet, door jams, baseboards, etc. * During the final punchout walkthrough, Barrett Rivera told us the problem was a manufacturer/product issue and nothing could be done to correct it. "If boards were removed, it would interrupt the floors locking system." The question remains, if the installer knew there was a product issue, why wasn't the installation halted immediately? Rivera's "project manager" even helped the installer during part of the project and said nothing about any issues with the product, or with the installation. * Thinking we had a product issue, based on Rivera's comment to us in our home during the final punchout walkthrough, we asked Rivera to start the claim against the manufacturer as was required by the manufacturer. No response. It took many emails and a lot of time to get the manufacturer/distributor to agree to file the claim. The manufacturer/distributor could not get cooperation from Rivera's in trying to get the claim processed. We have emails showing this. Rivera's later contradicted themselves saying they "followed all manufacturer installation guidelines and any concerns we have were within industry standards". This statement was made without Rivera or any of his crew taking any measurements. If Rivera stated that gapping and overwood were within industry standards, measurements should have been taken but they were not taken by Rivera nor his staff. * We have filed complaints with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services -Consumer Services Division, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (licensing agency), and Better Business Bureau. Official copies of our complaint packages can be obtained from the State agencies or copies of same from us that include Rivera's responses or lack thereof. Individual complaints do not carry the weight as collective complaints do, but do provide information regarding this vendor to the State and local agencies. Multiple complaints are beneficial to the agencies in the event of repeated offenses or should a class action lawsuit be pursued. We have seen from several reviews and other complaints against Rivera's, that Rivera's will accuse the consumer of being belligerent to their employees and other such comments. We anticipate that when we post this, you will hear all kinds of reasons why we are horrible people in Rivera's response. We are going to stay out of the gutter and not engage in personal attacks. We will provide facts. Our advice to anyone entering a contract for any project is to check the reviews, even if you have used the company in the past. File complaints with every agency you can if you do not get satisfaction from the vendor. In our experience, it is difficult and time consuming to file complaints. But without them, it perpetuates improper and illegal business practices. Complaints and reviews can be posted with the Better Business Bureau, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Service Consumer Services Division, Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (licensing agency), and social media. Should anyone desire to get additional information about our experience with Rivera's Flooring Kitchens and More, please send a private message to us on Facebook Messenger at https://www.facebook.com/gene.altman.12/. We'll be happy to share documentation, photos, etcetera, and/or discuss a class action lawsuit.

Rude, aggressive, foul mouthed and unorganized. When my bathroom remodel was starting to wind down at my home, and it came to their "punch list", they just stopped showing up and did not contact us for over two months. The way they speak to their customers is appalling. You talk to 3 different people and get 3 different stories over there. How would you like to not get some sort of schedule from the contractor, but instead just randomly show up at your home at 8:30 in the morning. Plus, a one month bathroom remodel took over 6 months until they finally walked away from the job all together. Technically they never finished the job, they just stopped showing up. The owners last words to me was F - you, then hung up on me. One star is a generous review. Negative stories tend to have a familiar ring of truth.

we had Barrett out for an estimate on a Friday. We said we'd come into the warehouse on Tuesday. we didn't get there until Wednesday. when we arrived they had nothing in their computer system about us or the quote we were given. We spoke to someone who took our phone number and the selections we made. they said they would get ahold of Barrett and call us with a complete quote. it is now Friday and we have heard from no one. If this is any indication of their reliability their business will not survive.

Well, we thought we were going with a good company. They were about half way through the job, collected almost all of the money for the job, just one draw left and then THEY QUIT! Terrible outcome! We did not even get the materials back that we had PAID FOR! including 1100 square feet of flooring, granite countertops, baseboards for a 3/2 condo, kitchen sink, finish electrical work and they left cabinets with NO Hardware! We asked for our items back and hired an attorney to try and get them to give us a refund...nothing from them!! My advice...stay away!! I have turned them in to the licensing board for contractors, BBB, and others. If they want to quit for whatever reason then at least refund my money...NOPE! NOTHING!! Licensed contractors have a moral obligation to customers and they failed on this one!!! Buyer beware!!!
