I was greeted by Frank who was very pleasant to work with and took all my concerns into consideration. He showed some beautiful stone that would meet my needs. Upon returning to the store I was greeted by Vinny who was aware of my previous visit he was very helpful and had everything set up for the men to come and take the template and installation. I am very happy with them and the job and would recommend them highly. The stones vines were lined up for a beautiful glow.

I love, love my new countertop!!!! It really makes my kitchen stand out!!! First, the staff was very helpful and always kind(Vinny, Joseph, Joe). The installer (Mike)was very nice and did an excellent job installing the countertop. Really paid attention to detail. After it was installed I noticed a small scratch that was noticeable to me and Mike came out and fixed it. Everything looks so perfect and beautiful!!!

We were recommended by a neighbors friend who had done their countertops here and we went to look. We were pleasantly surprised at all the displays. It was raining that day but Employee Joe B helped so much by wiping down slabs outside so we can match with cabinet sample. Then inside we picked backsplash, sink and faucet. It's an all on one shop. Once time for installation, employees Jerard and Moses did an Excellent job! Very beautiful work! Would definitely recommend!

Everything went well. Gerard and his coworkers were some of the hardest working people I've hired. They worked until it was complete which was a very long and late day. They were professional, courteous and worked with the mindset to do the job to the best of their ability with making sure the end result was as perfect as can be. Gerard even came back the next day to drill holes we needed for our range hood after working another job all day.

I felt the service of the gentlemen of Richmond Granite was very good. They were on top of everything and always looking to please. The quality of the granite is great and I love the color they helped me choose to match my new cabinets. I was amazed at how they made the least amount of seams and how the gentelmen blended the seam. If you looked, you really can't notice where the seam is. The value was great as well considered I was quote double the amount from other places.

By far the most knowledgeable, friendly, professional company to work with. I had gone to a couple of other Tile & Granite places and waited to be seen. Then when we were seen by a customer service person they were constantly interrupted. Just horrible service in comparison to Richmond Granite & Tile And a special shout out to Cousin Joe ( not my real cousin ) just goes to show you how they treat you like Family. We have done several major construction projects over the course of time here on Staten Island. Richmond Granite- Frank and his team were absolutely WONDERFUL ! They were accurate, neat , always showed up, easy communication and an EXCELLENT quality of work. The kitchen was over 50+ years old and they did all the right things without asking, changed plumbing , removed soffits, insulated all the walls, fixed exterior walls that were water damaged ...etc. The prices were right in the ballpark and did extras without excessive charges. The design (by Nick) and assistance from staff in choosing granite and tile (by Giuseppe) were priceless. Ottavio and his construction team, Joe for flooring and tiling and Miguel who installed the cabinets were really knowledgeable and couldn't do enough to make it all right. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !! AND THANK YOU FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

If I could give the people here 10 stars I would, 5 minutes after walking in, I felt like part of the family, Rosa and Joe really know their stuff, truly experts in this field, if they make a suggestion, take it because everything came out perfect. A few minutes on the phone with Jane and you will feel like long lost friends, there was no issue too big or too small she would not handle. Installation was top notch, the installers were prompt, very clean and as professional as it gets, countertops came out perfect, they went above and beyond to make sure everything fit perfectly and everything was cleaned up afterwards. Because of the way things turned out I can't help but try and sell countertops to my friends and family, it was that easy and the prices and selection were second to none, they even let us take the backsplash tile out to the yard and match it to the granite, truly professional. I will be back for my next project!!!

I recently changed my kitchen countertop to granite. I went to several granite stores and slab yards. Richmond Granite is by far the best. Beautiful store and very friendly and helpful people. Highly recommend! Did a complete gut/renovation to my house. Every step along the way there was something unexpected to pop up. Every trade had a hassle in one way or another. Except the Quartz. For six months my husband and I searched and searched for a suitable and reliable company that would remodel our kitchen and bath and give us not only the quality we were looking for, but the best deal as well. Just about when we were ready to give up and go with your predictable Home Depot remodeling, we were driving down 14 th avenue and saw a sign for NY cabinet factory. We thought it won't hurt to visit just one more place. Anthony the kitchen designer in ten minutes was able to show us a 3d drawing of our kitchen, it was amazing they have a big screen on the wall and you can see your kitchen cabinets with all the appliances in place. Once we decided came back ordered the cabinets they send us to their sister store in Staten Island Richmond granite in Staten Island and NY tile center same place huge showroom huge selection of floor tile and backsplash they also have their own slabs of granite quartz way too much stuff to choose from. Rosa the granite designer knows her products; Joe the tile designer helped us choose all the floor tile and backsplash tile, easy The customer service was wonderful, frank and his team left us with such pleasure and satisfaction. Their prices were 25% cheaper than any of the other places we had visited they completed the work in a reasonable amount of time and we were very pleased with the end result. It is now a pure joy to have dinner parties in my brand new kitchen and have guests use our Newly remodeled bathroom. If you are looking for a company to remodel your kitchen And bath, I highly recommend this team

We recently went to Richmond Granite to look for countertops for our kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects. We also needed tile for the bathroom floor and the kitchen floor and backsplash. If you've ever shopped for tile or countertops, you know that when you walk in, you're going to be totally confused. The range of options seems endless. They had highly experienced experts to explain the materials, understand what we wanted, and help us to narrow down the choices. It made the process do-able. Make no mistake -- they carry top brands and those are not inexpensive, but they are reasonable for the quality and for the service. Once we had made our selections, including tile, quartz (for the kitchen) and granite (for the bathroom) they made sure we had everything we needed, including tile for edging the rooms and even the right kinds and colors of grouts. They sent two men to our house to measure for the countertops. They were quick and thorough. They returned a week later with the finished material. The installation was flawless. Everything was exactly the right size, and polished to perfection. The installers were absolutely expert craftsmen. I highly recommend this business to you for both tile and countertops. They made a very difficult and confusing part of our project much more straightforward. We value their expertise and experience, and we would be glad to use them again for future projects, and to recommend them to our friends.

As far as working with contractors, I usually can't stand the whole experience. Rarely you can get things done correctly, as promised and on time. I worked directly with the owner and I have to say to my surprise. Things were simple and as promised. He walked me right through everything, even made recommendation on how we should size my new counter/breakfast bar. At the end of the day it was extremely competitive pricing. If you are looking to redo your kitchen counter top. This is by far the best place to start. I can't recommend them enough. Thanks to Richmond Granite they took and interaction I usually hate and turned it in to something I really enjoyed.

Working in construction I see a lot of stone and high end finishes. Sometimes the hardest part isn't sourcing the stone, but finding someone who knows what they are doing when they field measure and install. That's why my buddy in the business referred us to Richmond Granite. Since my family are all in the trades, it's nice to find a local family owned and operated business to use. I can tell you that they costumer service is always better when dealing with family owned. Frank the owner, tells me they can do almost any type of stonework you need, including but not limited to natural stone, marble, granite, limestone, and other hard surfaces. We scheduled someone from Richmond to come field measure and give us an estimate based on the kitchen counter tops we had in mind. Easy and simple. Ordered the stone and before we knew it they followed up to schedule the install. The counters couldn't have come out looking better. Great work and very comfortable referring them to friends in the future. I also like that they accepted credit cards. If you need a personable and reliable stone contractor then Richmond Granite should be your first call if your in the Staten Island area.

Recently my aunt recently moved to NY and bought a home that had broken counters. We searched around for a granite company that was affordable and produced great work. We ran across Richmond Granite on a Google search, we used their instant estimator on their website, which was very easy and a great tool when you are like us and have no idea what you are doing. We requested someone from the company the to come out, they did in a timely fashion. Walked us through the process and scheduled a time to come do the work. They were beyond professional, great customer service, had tons of different options color wise and made this part of the move seamless.

High priced nasty disrespectful incompetent individuals. They couldn't even cut a perfectly square 48 x 25 1/2 countertop. Not only did they cut jagged and chipped edges, they cut the front 49" and the rear 48" . When I called to make them aware of this their response was If I don't like it to bad.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!! They have no clue as to how to measure countertops. Here's a picture of what they did they left me an inch gap between the wall and the countertop and told me to have my contractor put extra tile mastic to cover the gap. I fit my entire hand behind the countertop and they think tile mastic will fill this in. What a joke. Vinny who did the original measure hung up on me (real professional!!) offered me $100 in consideration. Half of a $3K job screwed up and they offer me $100. Word of advice go elsewhere.

Homeowners BEWARE!!!! We had recently renovated our kitchen entirely ourselves to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. The only aspect that we hired "Professional" help from was for our granite countertops. We explained EXACTLY what we wanted to make our kitchen complete, but was advised to trim down our measurements for our breakfast island. I regretfully listened to the owner of Richmond Granite. When installation was complete, we were left with what one would consider to be a narrow ledge/surfboard type bar. A thin tabletop that 2 normal size plates can not rest on next to each other. When I questioned their "Professional" advice and asked why they chose to advise me away from my original width request, and to find a solution to their error in judgement, I was YELLED, SCREAMED, & CRITICIZED by the owner of this company. Rather than finding a solution, he chose not to return any phone calls and avoid us at all costs. Look elsewhere if you are choosing to make this investment for your home!!!

Posting for my Parents who had a bad experience: We dealt with someone who was supposed to be locating the 'perfect' piece of slab as per our coloring preferences. She said she knew exactly what we wanted and would find it. Weeks went by and when we called her she said she was on vacation and said WE had not been in touch. We reminded her she was supposed to be working on making calls to find what we wanted. She told us to come in that Saturday and showed us ONE slab that was nothing like we wanted. My husband went to a few places on his own and found the piece.. which we could have done from the start if she would have said she wasn't going to look. Long story short because they were not helpful we gave the business to someone else. They would not refund our deposit which is a joke as they did not hold up to their end of the deal. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Richmond Granite unless you want to do the leg work yourself!

Description Of Work: I had ordered a 10' counter for a Media Room. I went to Richmond Stone and Granite for the granite. I had bought granite before and was assured that they would make a template and install the piece correctly. 100% payment was demanded up front. When the person came to measure, he warned me that my piece was going to be very heavy and I should make sure they give him enough men to carry it. I called and was assured since I was less then 1/4 mile away they would send 6 men. I was then told that a template was not necessary. I specifically asked if it would be flush to the wall and was assured that they had been doing this for so long that I should trust them and once again I was promised that 6 men would arrive. They made an appointment and broke it 30 minutes after they were due to arrive. They rescheduled for the following week and I was promised one last time that everything would be fine. Actual Work . When they arrived only 3 men were there, they dropped the piece inside the truck causing several chips one of which was over 2" in diameter. I call the office immediately and spoke with Frank, the owner. I asked why the appropriate number of people were not sent as promised. He was rude and cursed at me, to summerize he said that I had no right to tell him haw many men to send and chips were a part of the business then he hung up on me. The installer told me that if he returned the stone they would just put the same patch in it as they would have in my home and they would surely drop it again. He promised me he would cut a new piece, a backsplash, they would cover everything. When they installed it, they would nowhere near flush, but again I was promised that the backsplash would fix everything and I would be called later that day. After two days I called and was told that they would get back to me soon. I called several days later and was told the same thing. After two weeks I called a thrid time and was told that they didn't know what I was talking about. I called the BBB and filed a complaint which they ignored receiving a rating of "F" in the process. I called my credit card company and I was sent an answer back from the credit card company with the response full of lies and saying I had never contacted them. I sent a regestered letter which they refused, I guess they are used to getting them. My wife called and they said they would fix the problem only after I sent them a letter saying they did nothing wrong. (well that was never going to happen). The woman said they are sued all the time and I should "knock myself out". So it's off to court I go! Listen to me, never use this place whatever you do!!!!

Highly dissapointed. I bought a granite countertop for my kitchen. 3 days after it was installed, water stains started to appear and not go away. I contacted the company who told me not to worry that it happens. They would come back and remove the stains and re-apply seal. After 3 to 4 attemps at applying products, stains only got worse and darker. Owner is now refusing to replace or refund. He is rude and has no customer service skills. There is obviously something wrong with the product. This company doesn't stand by it's product. If you plan on doing business with them, I would highly reconsider...

They dont stand by their product. I had a countertop installed. It turned out to be defective. Instead of fixing the problem I had to pay extra to have it fixed. They also have bad attitudes. Trust me - GO ELSEWHERE!
