Planet marble did the countertops on kitchen a few years ago. They did a great job. They were polite, fair price and did good work. This year, I went back to them to do my bathroom countertops. Again, great service and polite. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone. I had to add an update because after continued good work, I used their services again for another kitchen job. It is my favorite one to date.

Tiago and his team did an outstanding job with my kitchen. Contractors can be hit or miss but Tiago displayed stellar professionalism and true craftsmanship in his work. Marlene and Tiago were the BEST! Marlene helped me locate a supplier who had the Taj Mahal quartzite I wanted. She checked with me regularly to see the status of my cabinets and they patiently waited (4 months!) for my cabinet guy and when the time finally came to template and install the countertop they showed up on time and did an amazing job. After installation, the cabinet guy stepped on the quartzite seam and broke the slab in three places...Tiago came out and repaired it and you can not even tell it was broken (see close up photo of cooktop). Would definitely recommend Planet Marble and staff to anyone looking for quality countertop installation.

Horrible customer service! I can deal with a snippy front desk attitude, but removing my PVC piping under the sink to fit this countertop crossed a huge line! You knew better and caused me severe issues. You were greedy and it didn't have to be this way. Your employees literally ripped out plumbing to fit a deep sink and countertop. I completely regret ever working with this company.

I needed an alteration to my existing counter top due to a recent purchase of a stove. Planet Marble was referred to me. They completed the job within 24 hours of my request which was a blessing because my stove would not slide in without the 1/2" alteration. They were very friendly and professional and did a fabulous job. I'm extremely happy I went with Planet Marble and will hire them when I update my kitchen counter tops. Tiago and his staff are true craftsmen. Our counter tops within our kitchen and island were installed over a year ago and we are extremely happy with the way they came out. We have received numerous compliments from our guests. Tiago suggested Cambria brand quartz material which is very sturdy and easy to maintain. I ended up at Planet Marble after visiting almost every granite place in the Pompano area as well as online. They not only had the exact slab I needed but they had the lowest price that included the installation! I was blown away at how much more reasonable their pricing was. From the very beginning to the end of the project, everything was handled with professionalism. The tech (who ended up being the actual owner) always arrived on time and did an exceptional job. The level of craftsmanship is superb to the point of no seam on a very large piece of my counter. Just beautiful work. Look no further if shopping around. You won't find better service, price and material than at Planet Marble!

If your bottom line is to get beautiful granite, installed well, and helpful suggestions that usually come from a designer then this is the business for you. Tiago is the owner - and visionary - so this is not just another fabricator shop. He travels to Brazil and orders containers of granite to be shipped to his Pompano Beach shop. We went to a couple of large granite/marble yards but wound up buying our granite from Tiago. He made great suggestions that absolutely made our bathrooms look great. In 2012 we purchased granite from Tiago and he installed the slabs in our kitchen. Tiago suggested that we widen our countertop, which we did. He also ran granite alongside a narrow wall so the cabinets looked custom-built. There is only 1 seam on the countertops - and it's only about 30" long! So I know to listen to Tiago when he makes recommendations! If you lack flexibility with scheduling or different people coming to do piecework (i.e. tile, granite installation, cabinet installation, painting/touch-up, etc.) think twice about the work you request. The more work and people assigned to the job, the more likely scheduling issues,etc. I did have a significant problem and Tiago made good on it. The tile guy started the walls by putting the tile seam off center. He then left the job and sent a proxy without telling Tiago - or me. The new tile guy was very nice but I think he lacked expertise. Ultimately some of the tile had to be removed and new tile had to be ordered and installed. We wound up splitting the cost of the new tile. I believe Tiago tried to be a contractor as a convenience to us. His granite was great, as was his installation. He put granite on the threshold of the shower stall and alongside the shower wall to offset the tile issues. Marlene runs his store and handles the administrative portion of each job. It's hard to keep everything on track and I don't envy her. Just know that she and Tiago have their hearts in the right place and your happiness matters to them. The Planet Marble guys are professional and really nice too. And yes, my bathroom is beautiful and nicer than I imagined. Hubby's bathroom is sharp too!

We had a granite counter installed by Planet Marble last week and we couldn't be happier with our experience and the quality of the product and workmanship. Tiago was able to understand our vision and added great suggestions to make our project something you would only find in a magazine. We ended up going with a 1.5" thick granite called sienna bordeaux with a chiseled edge. From quote to installation, it took just 9 days. I would definitely recommended them.

My experience with planet marble is mixed. We use them three times to install granite in my kitchen and two bathrooms which came out fine. However I ordered two expensive sinks and had them delivered to Marlene. Unfortunately the sinks did not fit well into my bathroom. Marlene put the sinks aside and I came to pick them up to return them to New Jersey to quality-bath. I sent the two sinks back via UPS, not knowing that there were additional boxes that the original sinks came in. Marlene had thrown away the original boxes with the packing that the sinks had come in. They threw the boxes away first and then decided to see if the sinks were going to fit. When I went to pick up the sinks to return them to the company I was not told there were additional outer boxes that the sinks came in. As a result I sent the boxes back the way Marlene had given them to me and one of the sinks broke along the way through UPS and they would not grant me any refund on the 200+ sink that I had ordered. So because of Marlene I am out over $200 with a broken sink because she never told me till later that there were additional boxes and protective packaging that goes with the sinks. When I called them they did admit they had thrown the box away but would not compensate me at all for the cost of the sink or the extra $50 shipping . I would've hoped that they had compromised with me and at least split the difference but they They did nothing. I spent close to $10,000 with this company to do three rooms in my home and you would think with good business that they would make good on a mistake that cost me over 200 and some dollars. They have left a permanent bad taste in our mouth's.

This guy can't measure properly. He created a template and then when it was 3/4inch away from the wall and he blamed the fact that the wall was off. If he had done his template properly then it would have fit properly. He also did not follow the contractors directions thus changing the entire look of the bar top that we wanted then blamed everyone but himself. I will now have to call another company to do the job over. If you are looking for Granite tops do not use this guy.

Awful. Marlene forget half of my scheduled appointments and they ripped out parts of my existing plumbing in order to fit in a deep sink. They never advised that they purposefully removed piping and then cursed me out for calling them pissed.

I ordered a table from Planet Marble. The table quality is OK,(so far), but customer service is not good. Originally they promised completion in 2 weeks. Well that slipped to 4 weeks. They promised me a delivery, on a Thursday, but never showed up,and didn't call until the next Tuesday, when they said they would deliver that night. -Well I had plans so I had to cancel that delivery. -They never apologized for missing 1st appointment, and acted like I should cater to their delivery. Finally delivery was reschedule for the next Thursday, and when they arrived the couldn't center a table on a base. When I measured it, and said its way off center, they said they I had not paid for installation, only delivery! (at 50 bucks) I insisted they re-center the table, and use all 6 screws, instead of the 4 they had installed. its like they were doing me a favor by screwing the top to the base. total time spend was 15 min. (oh, and when I asked the driver if he needed directions he said, no, but the office had to call me to confirm my address... )
