Our cat cracked out the countertop - that's a longer story.... But we were looking for a company that could help us replace what we already had (or get close to it) without damaging our kitchen tiles and cabinets (the remodel is only 5 years old). Their reviews helped, but we selected North Coast as Megan was the first person to find us a stone that looked a lot like what we had (she also called back quickly)..... The templating expert was very reassuring, it was clear he knew what he was doing and had a LOT of ideas on how to not just replace, but improve our countertop. The demo team (subs) were excellent - no damage, clean and efficient. The install team - also excellent, worked diligently and left me with a countertop. Sadly .... the countertop cracked (SIGH) soon after installation, in a delicate spot (corner). John was kind enough to call - he removed my frustration in that conversation and reassured me they would replace it. That happened today, and John (the fixer) restored my faith in humanity. He was kind, and considerate and did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to recommend the NCT&S team.

We visited many stone and tile stores over the past couple months but found North Coast the very best to meet our needs. Caity is thoroughly knowledgeable and genuinely eager to help us with our stone and tile needs for our upcoming kitchen. We have practically zero experience with the products, so we need serious advice and a little hand holding. Because we are just beginning the process, Caity’s guidance and professionalism have made the experience a delightful one. She has given us the confidence that we are making the right choices. We had a couple of concerns and went to see her today unannounced. She wasn’t in the store, but the owner, her mother Martha, was there and easily and casually assuaged our worries. My friend and I went here as our second stop today in our adventures in remodeling her house. After stopping at a larger tile store we were totally lost and didn’t know where to even start. Thankfully we were offered help by Merci, who helped us from start to finish and was simply amazing. We left there with solutions for both bathrooms, kitchen counters and the hearth, it was so easy with help from a professional who knew how to guide us. I cannot say enough about the difference between the experience at our first stop and here, thankfully there was no need for a 3rd stop because all of our needs were met here.

North Coast tile recently completed our house in Healdsburg. Our bathrooms and kitchen turned out beautiful. Martha was incredible to work with, and their installers were very professional and detailed. This is the second home they have done for us and we would not use anyone else. North Coast was easy to work with and helped us pick out our beautiful granite countertop. There’s a little bit of a wait between when you pick it out and it’s cut and installed, but it is totally worth it. Knowing what you want beforehand or having at least a rough vision before you start and communicating your ideas clearly will help the process go smoothly and efficiently. They did an incredible job installing the countertop and the matching backsplash. This along with the unique tile job helped transformed our kitchen, as you can see in the photos.

We used North Coast for an outdoor quartzite countertop. In less than a year the countertop developed a large crack across the top. The company sent out a rep to look at it who said the crack is a fissure that was in the original slab and was filled will epoxy during manufacturing. Fingerprints can be seen along the crack that only became visible when the crack developed. The sales team told us about the benefits of natural stone being its durability and resistance to extreme heat and cold. No information was provided about epoxied fissures, which would have been useful info during our decision-making process. The crack is not something that was expected when purchasing the countertop, especially at this price point and appearing in such a short amount of time. We asked for resolution of any sort repeatedly and North Coast stopped responding to emails. Overall, a disappointing experience and I would not recommend doing business with this company.

We used North Coast Tile & Stone for our recent kitchen remodel. We went with a gray quartz for our counters and have absolutely loved the way they turned out. The install was professional and precise and the stone is flawless. After the install was complete, John came back to polish the stone and made sure everything was perfect! We couldn't be happier. Vice president Greg Cassel went above and beyond to create some smaller pieces for us made of granite that we are using as cutting boards and hot plates for serving large dishes . We highly recommend North Coast Tile & Stone for all of your countertops and backsplash needs. They are also craftsmen and can create speciality items for you as well. There warehouse is amazing and I recommend you go visit them to see how everything comes together. They exceeded our expectations!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

It's not that common anymore to have my expectations exceeded -- but they did just that! We hired them to do the whole house in quartz including the kitchen (one new Cambria slab plus a tile backsplash), two bathrooms (a remnant we found outside in their covered back area), and a laundry area (a second remnant we found there). We went in multiple times to ask questions and they were always pleasant and helpful. At slab install time, Matt was the lead and he was super professional and nice (introduced himself and team by name, shook hands) and was easy to communicate with. Team was fast and worked cleanly. Beautifully done and they managed to get all the rooms done in a single day! Joe was the tile installer and he, too, was such a nice person, great attitude. Really cared to do a very precise and expert install of difficult tile to work with (long, heavy, and textured/3D tile ). I was floored how exact he was able to install it all around the window sill and the outlet cutouts. Super impressed. So grateful for such gorgeous installations! Wonderful people and really lovely finished products. Thank you!

We went to 3 granite suppliers and found that North Coast had the greatest selection by far. We reserved 2 slabs of Azurite with specific slab numbers. I LOVE the slabs we got, but for all this money, it would have been nice to see what the other slabs looked like (it's a lot of work, but some companies will lift the slabs to show you the choices underneath). At any rate, I agree with another reviewer that the choice of countertop edge was not clearly communicated by the woman we worked with in the showroom. An example would be super helpful! We later discovered that the term used for the edge was not what we thought and Dave was really helpful doing a change order so that the edge was exactly what we wanted. Two teams headed up by Brian and Armando came to do the install. It was a really hard job due to having to carry some very large slabs up winding stairs, but they were amazing!!! The tile backsplash went in yesterday and will be grouted today. Again, the guys doing the work were professional and detail oriented. We have a master bath needing a complete remodel and we will use North Coast for our tile and stone purchase and installation.

From the moment we arrived until we had made our decision and set aside slabs for our new home they were fantastic. Very good selection, courteous, informative and responsive. Strongly recommends.

After going to several tile stores and several samples later and not finding what I had envisioned for my bathroom remodel. North Coast was my last tile store. Caity Ault greeted my granddaughters and me when we came in and started helping me pick out different tiles. Caity was amazingly helpful. Everything I had envisioned, she help me put together. She really listened to me and what I was trying to do for my bathroom. Then she put her expertise to work. It took days for me to make a final decision. But when I did I was 100% pleased. Caity being the owners daughter, did not have to help me. She could of passed me off to one of the many sales people. But she didn't. She is the best at customer service. I will recommend the store and Caity to everyone I know.

We remodeled our kitchen in early 2018 and hired North Coast Tile & Stone to install quartz counter tops. They did an amazing job and we are thoroughly pleased with their work and professionalism. We experienced a crack in one of the slabs due to a manufacturing defect with the quartz within the first 6 months of install and NC Tile & Stone came back and removed all counter tops and reinstalled for free!! Then, in the last couple of months, we dropped a spoon on the edge of one of the counter tops and it chipped. I called NC Tile & Stone and they sent out technician, John Beard, and he did an amazing job fixing the damage that you cannot tell that there ever was a chip in the edge! Thank you John and NC Tile & Stone!

After trying to get our countertops through a big box store we decided to give North Coast a try, and we are happy we did. From start to finish we were treated honestly and fairly, with a high degree of professionalism starting in sales and ending with the install of our countertops. They were able to install sooner than their projected lead time, which was fantastic! However, more importantly I cant say enough good things about their install crew headed by Shawn P. It was more than we hoped for as we had to have the top wrap around a support post, which came out almost seamless. His work ethic and attention to detail are second to none. You really have to look hard to find the two seams. Our house was left clean and all floor protection, masking tape etc. removed when they were done. In all it is a beautiful job and we would highly recommend NCTS to anyone needing tile or stone work without reservation. Thanks so much for making this a pleasant process.

North Coast Tile & Stone were fabulous! We had to get a refund from Home Depot, from whom we had purchased cabinets and granite counter tops. The cabinets (from American Woodmark) were awesome, but the granite fabricator that Home Depot is using is TERRIBLE! Long story short, after months of waiting and delays, we cut ties and I called Tom in a panic. We were hosting Christmas for 15 at our new home, everything else was done, and we still had no counter tops. Even though we are up in Sea Ranch, Tom had his measurer come out the next week and then three weeks later we had amazing new counters. My husband and I went and picked out the slabs. There's a great selection of 2 cm but we wanted 3 cm, which isn't as popular. But they still had the color we wanted and it's gorgeous. AND the price was excellent - I had thought we were getting a "deal" from Home Depot but it turns out, not really. North Coast Tile's prices are competitive and their installation crew was excellent. Thank you so much for saving the day and helping us complete our home!

My husband and I visited this place last weekend and we were very impressed! The woman who helped us was very nice and very knowledgeable. We had been leaning towards quartz because my husband thought granite would be more work with needing to be sealed and needing special cleaning products, but she totally alleviated our concerns and showed us some beautiful granite to fall in love with. Our friends at No. Coast Tile & Stone (Kelsey, Robert, tile master's Roman/Juan and Anthony, and so many more amazing folks) have just finished the final touches on our bathroom remodels. Superior workmanship, had to work within a crazy timeline with our contractor who travels all the time and they came through on time, on budget with a minimum of disruption (especially since they were in our master bedroom for 2 weeks)! Outstanding, high quality workmanship, and very respectful of our home. They installed granite countertops and backsplash tile last fall and again, amazing high quality design work, very patient with inexperienced homeowners and a home run, twice! Very lucky to have stumbled into their showroom last summer as we started this disruptive, crazy full-house (while living in it) remodel. 5 stars are not enough! I had a fabulous, wonderful experience yesterday at this place. Looking for kitchen tile and counters, this place was recommended to me. After I looked on my own for a bit, I asked for assistance and lucked out big time to get Mary Day to help me. I don't like making these kind of decisions and don't think I have a great sense of color or design - but Mary does! She has worked here since she was a kid and has worked for interior design firms as well. So, since they weren't super busy, we took quite some time with me drawing out my kitchen plan, discussing colors etc and she was a HUGE help in me narrowing down a few choices of samples to take home. My experience with North Coast tile and Stone was very positive. I love my new master bathroom and powder room granite as well as my gorgeously fabricated Taj Mahal Quartzite for my entire kitchen surfaces. The fabrication and installation was perfect. It took 6 of their guys to carry our new kitchen island inside the house and they took the time to make sure it was precisely installed. I was my own designer which worked out just fine because I had the awesome template maker Jeff mastermind my vision. He perfected the design so that every angle was exactly right. I mostly worked with Jason who was always helpful, professional and courteous. Jason always returned my calls in a timely manner. I feel the craftsmanship and professionalism of their team was outstanding. The granite and quartzite are beautiful additions to our home.

We recently hired North Coast Tile & Stone to install our kitchen counter top. We chose the beautiful Cambria quartz product, Canterbury. Our initial contact was with Ross who provided us with great assistance while shopping in the store. We live an hour and a half away from NCTS so once our decision was made our final transactions were done via emails and the telephone. Kevin Soper and Jason Simmon provided us with excellent Customer Service, meeting all of our needs for our project. The quartz was fabricated and installed with excellence. I had a great experience with North Coast Stone! I worked with Martha who spent plenty of time working with me to choose the stone. She had great ideas and was very patient while I thought over my selection. I thought I had found just the right stone, but the next day Martha called me to tell me some really beautiful stone had just arrived that I should come in to see. She was right! It was gorgeous and that was the stone I chose for my countertop. A designer friend of mine had already told me NC's fabricators were excellent and they were very helpful in helping me during layout. The staff had warned me that they had many orders for fabrication and it would take a little while to get on the schedule, which was fine with me. The install was flawless and my new countertops are amazing!! I definitely recommend their services.

Tom & Martha are amazing ,I recently sent my Aunt who was looking for a pc of slab remnant to be cut down to a particular size and she wasn't having any luck being that it was a small project. She went above and beyond to locate the tiles that were no longer in the store. Her daughter was also so helpful and even assisted with my vanity selection. I recommend NCoast Tile. From their design consultants to estimators to installation crew NCoast is a well-run organization. They now have installed my granite kitchen island, cambria counters and outdoor kitchen. So far everything has help up great. When there were some issues early on with chips on the island, they came back without delay and fixed them up--same for stains on the outdoor kitchen. They cam back, cleaned them up, resealed the counter and even left me with product for sealing and removing stains accompanied by a letter with instructions and an explanation of what they did (since I was not there). The pricing also seems competitive.

These folks were like a breath of fresh air as far as their customer service goes! We got several bids on resurfacing our kitchen counters with Silestone and they were very competitive, but the best part was their helpful attitudes and follow-up. After we settled on the countertop and backsplash treatments, we only had to wait 2 weeks for the installation. Michele called and said she would be our point of contact for any questions or concerns (big thank you!). The installers kept us informed of arrival times and any concerns. We were anxious because the installation was just days before Thanksgiving so we were down to the wire and there was a problem hooking up the stove. Jim assured me they would send someone out there to recut the surface if we couldn't get a work-around with the stove plumbing. He said they would definitely get it resolved, plus their installer also called and told me what time he would be there. Well before they showed up we had the hook-up issue resolved so they didn't have to come back, but it was great knowing I wouldn't be left in a jam the day before Thanksgiving! At our last house I had Home Depot do our kitchen counters and they ripped out the counters and it took 8 weeks for them to return to resurface! What a difference! I would highly recommend North Coast!

North Coast Tile and Stone is the absolutely best around! Superior service and what a great experience working with the showroom personnel. We initially had our kitchen counters installed and were so pleased that we ended up adding a bathroom. The attention to detail was superb as well as the price. We later ending up remodeling our master bathroom and it looks like a showpiece! I highly recommend this local business. They are experts in the field. The slab yard has an extremely large selection and the selection and variety of tile is wonderful as well. Don't hesitate to visit this local business!

What a great experience. Lisa and Judith were excellent in all facets of the job. They not only helped choose the right granite for our kitchen but helped with the tile floor and assisted with the backsplash. Lisa was always in communication with us and explained in detail what the next step would be. We received a great deal on a special order oversize stainless steel sink from One of their suppliers. Lisa and Tom both called and invited us to their shop in Windsor to watch the layout and cutting of our slabs. A great experience and a very friendly staff of manufactures. When it came time to install our slabs, I watched the pro installers do their magic. There were 4 installers and they all knew what they were doing. The lead installer, Colin, walked his team through the process of the installation using the templets. It went smooth. They leveled everything to make it easier for the tile setter to do the backsplash. They had to take care of a small problem with the stove fitting properly which they did in a very short time. Before we went to North Coast we went to the competition and we were not impressed with any of them. Most of them didn't give us the time of day. If you want a professional team of knowledgeable people to help you through a tough process, see the folks at North Coast tile and Stone. BEST service, BEST selection! We had our countertops and backsplash replaced. We are design-impaired and needed all the help we could get. When they walked us out to the granite slab "showroom" behind the store, we were amazed at what a huge selection there was. The installation went off without a hitch. They showed up when they said they would and finished when they said they would. We live an hour away and there was no extra charge for the distance - not how it is at most other businesses. We are considering tile work in our master bath and won't consider anyone else to help us pick out the tile and do the install.

We live in Kelseyville, at Clearlake. Our kitchen counter-top project we completed in April 2013 was a complete success. We purchased a brushed granite slab directly from MSI in Hayward. Tom at North Coast coordinated the details with MSI expertly. North Coast's proposal was the one that avoided a seam in the corner. In spite of the distance (70 miles) both the templating trip and the installation went smoothly and efficiently. We did the prep work ourselves when a cousin-contractor unexpectedly visited us. . again the folks at North Coast answered questions promptly and clearly. Eight months later we remain completely satisfied. I would always recommend getting at least two quotes, however.

Search no farther for GREAT people to make and install your granite counters. Why? Because we already did the searching for you. My husband, John, and I did our due diligence before we made our investment; we looked in the the East Bay, South Bay, and North Bay. It's crazy out there in the world of granite and marble. We were actually kind of fed up by the time we found North Coast Tile & Stone in Santa Rosa--but from that moment on, their expertise and craftsmanship made the whole experience comfortable and satisfying for us. They helped choose a beautiful (and affordable) granite for countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms of a rental we own, and then did superb work in cutting and installing it. Where other companies would have put seams in some corners, North Coast came up with a seamless L-shaped. The only thing that bothered us about the results was that our renter had much finer counters than we did! After months of figuring out how to justify doing similar work in our own home, we went back to North Coast Tile and found a way. Once again, we are thrilled with the materials and the work. Every time we cook or wash our dishes or brush our teeth, it's like looking at jewelry. We can fully recommend North Coast Tile for their excellent materials, workmanship, and expert, thoughtful customer service. I have worked with North Coast Tile for about 8 years now and they are wonderful. The selection is great offering both tile, slab, and solid surface. They even offer sinks-makes putting a project together easier. The staff is very helpful to me as a designer and my clients get great service. My projects with them always come out the way they are planned- beautiful! And if there is a issue (rarely happens with me) they attend to it in a timely manner making sure my clients are satisfied. We are so happy that we found North Coast Tile and Stone. When we discovered mold in our home we set out on an accidental remodel journey. Obviously it was a stressful situation, but some good things came out of it. One of the best things was our experience with this company! They were so professional and did the most beautiful granite countertops in our home! We knew we wanted a certain granite and when they didn't have the two slabs we needed on site, they encouraged us to go to Hayward to see the slabs in person before we committed to them. I am so happy we did that as we actually decided on two different slabs,(same kind, but just different pieces). North Coast Tile and Stone had competitive pricing and was actually a little less than the other place we got a quote from. We love our kitchen and will definitely use them in the future for any other stone work! As I told Martha, North Coast tile and stone was the best part of our otherwise stressful remodel!
