Just had my counter installed by Newark Marble and Granite and the experience was amazing. The office staff Patricia and Rose are very friendly and very knowledgeable about the process and walked me through the process. The installation crew lead by Fernando were equally amazing. Fernando was very professional, extremely efficient, and very polite. He and his crew do amazing work. I highly recommend them.

I love how professional Fernando and his team are. He made sure everything is taken care off. The attention to details is beyond measurement. Great work of this white sparkle Quart countertop installation. On top of that the quality is superbe and price isn't even close to the quality of work. I will recommend Newark Marble and Granite and ask for Fernando and his team for installation. He is very friendly and very professional.

Fantastic price, and incredibly quick install. I called on a Monday for a measurement, they came for the measurements on Tuesday and had the countertops installed on Thursday. My kitchen was pretty straightforward and a smaller project but couldn’t believe how quick they were. Beat out 3 other Stone shops on price and installation time (my kitchen still needs new backsplash as seen in the photos) Great company though!

I highly recommend Newark Granite. From the moment we walked into Newark Granite we were greeted by Rosa, she assisted us with the utmost respect, kindness and helping us teaching us and best way to go about purchasing for our needs. She scheduled measurements and templates to be done the very next day. Dennis came measured and did templates was on time very nice and also recommended ideas. Dennis scheduled install within 4 days. Today, Fernando and two other men arrived at 9:00 all were very professional and courteous. They installed my quartz countertop. It looks beautiful, the edges are clean, the seam was done nicely(only 1 seam which is great). Fernando and team did an amazing job expertly done. Again, I highly recommend Newark Granite. We recently worked with Newark Granite on a bathroom vanity and shower niches. We decided to go with two remnants, but one of them broke during fabrication due to the quality of the stone and crystals in the stone. Placido worked with us and cut all Of the pieces from a new slab. It turned out great and the vanity looks amazing. I’m installation crew was professional and friendly. I would definitely work with them again on another project. Only difficulties were some communications and reaching the store by telephone. Limited selection but very reasonable prices.

I had the pleasure of purchasing granite from Newark Granite. My experience was pleasing from beginning to end. The staff is courteous and extremely professional and the installers did an excellent job! Not only do they run a A plus business. I found out this morning they are EXTREMELY honest. I accidentally put Newark Granite on automatic payments and money was coming out of my account monthly. I called this morning to notify them about what happened. They check their accounts and within 30 minutes my money was back in my account. I will never go anywhere else!! My experience was exceptional!! You have a customer for life. THANK YOU NEWARK GRANITE.

It was a pleasure working with Newark Marble & Granite on my kitchen project. They have a great selection and came in with the best estimate of any company I contacted. Two weeks ago they came to measure and create the template. I had ordered a composite white undermount sink, so they took it with them. They kept in contact, updated me on their progress, and even moved up delivery by a day. That worked out great for me. Today they installed my granite. I chose Dallas White, but it was a hard decision since they have so many choices in the shop. Everyone wore masks and everyone was pleasant. This was probably one of the best experiences of this kitchen project. I definitely recommend them.

Newark Marble and Granite gave us a good selection of granite and good deal for our kitchen and bathroom. The service reps in the store were helpful and extremely patient with us. When the craftsman came out to make the template he was careful and deliberate. We got a middle grade marble for the kitchen that is like a work of art. Everything was beautiful. Real happy with the work. We live in Newark and shopped around at a number of places including Home Depot before going with this company. Recommended.

Excellent service, really great selection, and amazing prices. They helped us choose which slab to make the large center island and made it so the rest of the counters flow beautifully together. You can barely see any seam. We were somewhere near 100 sq feet of countertops, and they did fabrication template and install very quickly. The guys who came to install were friendly and helpful. My parents saw our counters and hired them to re-do their counters as well. Newark Marble and Granite did a fantastic job in both of our homes.

Excellent service and selection! The prices cannot be beat, I know this because I quoted several granite suppliers. We ended up purchasing granite kitchen counter tops and quartz for our bathroom addition. The process was very quick even though we started during holiday time. From the first visit to installation was less than 2 weeks. Will be using them again when we renovate our main kitchen!

I was looking for a granite countertop, I looked all over Staten Island for typhoon Bordeaux. I already knew what I wanted so I thought it would be simple. I have a small kitchen so I thought it would be relatively low cost, I was wrong I received prices from 2500 to 2800, some included the sink others didn't. I was going to settle of course for the lowest price. My husband started searching off Staten Island and found newark marble and granite, when we went we were told they do not do less then 34sqft we have 25. I thought why did we bother...well when they gave me the price 1666.00 including the sink and they do everything and then they showed me the slab of typhoon Bordeaux, the nicest one we had seen so far, I was trying to see what was the catch. NONE it's been installed over a month they did my window sill and made me a cutting board with the extra and I couldn't be happier. I've waited to post this cause I wanted to see I'm a very skeptical person, I wanted to make sure all was good this taught me Staten Island is a rip-off. Warning Newark marble is not a fancy store they do all the cutting but who needs all that crap. Impress my pocket with quality don't bullshit me with your fancy stores. Also they gave me an 18 gage sink. One store in Staten Island wanted me to pay 200.00 for a 22 gauge sink and telling me it's better then an 18 gauge. Lower the number the stronger he sink. My advise shop around then go to them.

Installed 80 sq feet of quartz counters in the kitchen. From template to install Took a week. Product is beautiful. Templating took about 2 hours, install about 3 hours. I provided sink because I wanted extra deep sink, great install. I took recommendation of a friend who has used them multiple times, glad I did!

I went to about 10 - 15 different location shopping for a granite counter top. Newark Granite had slabs that were nicer than the other establishments for the price. They said they would be out in a week to measure and came out in less than three days then the completed the fabrication in record time. The install was good and the finish product looks great. I would definitely use them again.

I hired this company to install new granite countertops and sink. The original date for template and quote was 2/23. The template was lost. The company had to schedule a second visit to the home in April!!!! Problem 1. The guy that did the template measured on top of the old countertops which caused the guys that came to have to re cut tile 5/16 2. The company recommended the wrong sink which was not appropriate on the day of the install 5/16 3. Upon completion of the job, the guys that completed the install admitted that the sink was not the right choice. The hole could not fit through the hole. I originally had a double sink, but was given a single hose sink. I also had a garbage disposal which I no longer could use. The sinks hole was not centered which prevented me from using the dink. 3. Upon completion of the install 5/16 I called the office to complain and requested a new sink. Alessandro ( worker), initially agreed. Then he checked with the owner. I was told that it was a plumbing issue! It was not, WRONG SINK ( product)!! Patricia ( store clerk) gets on the phone is irate and unprofessional. She states it's out of her control. She stated that the Owner Placido will call me. Never happened 4 I'm left with an incomplete job, inoperable sink. I called my bank and Stopped payment. There was a balance of $1329.. Placido text me later on stating. Newark granite was not responsible for plumbing. I responded, can you please call me this is not a plumbing issue!!! I need a new dink. Alessandro called back. His recommendations: Get new countertops / sink. PAY ANOTHER $2319!!! Are you kidding me this is ridiculous. 5. No usage of kitchen 2 days. I hire a new contractor, fixed the sink changed hose $$$$ spent 6 I text Placido advising him that I was still waiting for a call. I called the office spoke to both Patricia and Alessandro, they said Placido was handling it 7. 5/18 text me back threatening message I made a mistake should have never stopped the check. I had 48hrs to make cash payment. They will start the process to remove the countertops ( threatening ) to come to my home. . He said he would not speak with only via text and email. 8 I responded, unfair. Not a plumbing issue. The job was incomplete. I was told that I needed a single hole sink by Newark granite. I advised the police they told me know one can remove anything or come to my home, arrest will be made. 9 I notified BBB complaint was filed. I'm asking that $319 be deducted from my loss. They refused 10. I made a payment via Zelle 5/19 which they accepted. BBB complaint is filed WHAT A NIGHTMARE!! Nice prices no professionalism or responsibility for their errors!!

We had a counter top installed and when we ordered it we explained that we had a 30 inch sink base cabinet and wanted the largest sink we could get. We were told that a 27 and 3/4 inch under mount sink would not fit and so we would have to have a 24 inch. They cut and installed a 20 inch sink. WHO in their right mind puts a 20 inch sink as a main kitchen with the countertop being as large as 8 feet! You can't even wash a large pot! They refuse to correct THEIR wrong. Be careful! Make sure you get what you pay for BEFORE you pay for it!

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! First call I was told to measure my countertop and I would pay whatever the square footage was, the technician comes to measure and you have the first surprise: no matter what the measure is going to be $1,250 starting point. We chose a color and another one was delivered after 10 days, didn't look bad, so I accepted it. The little piece 18inch x 26inc facing the counter was a totally different color, and the agony started, the office saying I was seeing wrong , with the wrong light. Their people came back and said that YES it was totally different, on top of everything the gas/range couldn't be put back, as the measures were wrong and now the space was too small. The employee/installer was telling me one thing, the office another, calls on calls ( many not answered) I started writing emails to both the owner and the sales person NO ANSWER. The office set up an appointment, the installer came a totally different date, at night, with no tools..... by the way the installer would talk to me only a very thick Spanish dialect, I had my neighbor Juan translate to him. The result looks weird and improvised, non professional, glue spilled all over the place, no finishing caulking as he didn't have it. No one called me from the office to check if I was satisfied. This kind of stress and aggravation is not worth your hard worked for money. Everyone under COVID is already super stressed, you don't need any extra from these people. I had to fight so hard to have a subpar result at the end. Too bad there aren't less stars!!!

This company has been nothing but a nightmare. We paid a 1200 dollar deposit in cash. Picked a white counter. They came to assemble with a yellow counter. We called the office, was told by Sariya that it was the same. She would not even listen. She said she could take the counter back but we had already ripped out our counter before they came as directed. They forgot a piece of the counter and 2 of the workers went to get it in Newark. One stayed behind and assembled everything on his own. He could not even hold the sink up because he had no help. We later found that the sink was not installed properly 2 days later and 2 bolts fell out. I called Sariya again. She stated that the owner was still away and could not talk. A new worker came today to fix the sink. He said we broke it and he did it right and tried to leave. My mom got very upset so he stayed and re drilled and bolted the sink. I called Sariya to say this was unacceptable and that I wanted to speak to the owner. Sariya still is insisting that it's the same slab and it is our fault for not coming to look at the actual slab. I understand that marble can look different with each slab but this is completely different marble. She said he still isn't back and is in Guatemala for another 3 weeks. Not only did we lose our money and are unsatisfied, the customer service is absolutely awful. I would not want anyone to go through what we went through. Who would be happy when they chose a white counter and got a yellow one in return? When I told Sariya I would contact the BEtter business bureau, she said "go right ahead, i am done talking" and hung up the phone. She stated that she was the manager. What type of manager runs their business this way? I am in shock with how this business is run. Save your money and go elsewhere!!

We visited their offices a few weeks ago. They looked professional enough so we quickly chose a granite sample, chose their standard granite + installation package, and asked if they had the insurance requirements our condo building needed. It was annoying that 1) they took a week to get us their insurance after repeated reminders, 2) were very pushy and crass about us leaving 50% of the payment before their measurements visit. I should have listened to my gut because quality tradesmen let their work speak for itself instead of being so pushy over payment before anything is done. Importantly, when I asked if they handle the entire process start to finish, the woman in the office said they do not reconnect the water and we need a plumber. I made sure to ask if they did *everything else* to finish the job or if *we needed to hire anyone else*. She said we only needed a plumber. THINGS START GOING DOWN HILL: For installation (visit #2), we agreed to give them condo access in the late afternoon so I could meet them after I left work to do a walk through and pay them. For 2 days before the installation I asked several times when they would finish. No response. I only got a call that day when they were done. During the walk through I notice that the edge of the granite on both sinks had major gaps with the wall (more than 0.5"). The dry wall was also damaged, paint torn away on certain parts, and no finishing job or caulking to seal edges. I took pics and let the installer know that the job was not done. I insisted I speak to the owner. *The owner claimed that many people have had the issue I'm complaining about* but they are not contractors... they just provide the granite and install it, nothing more. I explained that was not the service I was promised by the woman in the office, and it was made clear that I would only need a plumber to complete the job. This is when the owner began laughing and mocking me. He said the wall was crooked and that's the best he could do. I told him he should at least come to see it in person before arguing with me. He grew annoyed and said how can I expect them to fix *everything* that breaks in my apartment. I told him that's ridiculous to say because 1) I'm not asking them to fix random things but rather stuff directly related to them ripping out my counter tops, and 2) the woman was 100% clear that they would take care of everything else other than hooking up the faucet plumbing. I said I am not comfortable paying the last half because that implicitly says I'm ok with the work and got what I was promised. Then the owner asked if I specifically asked the woman if they would fix the wall and reseal and caulk and if I told her the wall was crooked. I said no, how am I supposed to know there's a crooked wall before removing the old granite (which somehow was still able to be flush against the wall), and that's why I used the catch all phrase "do they do everything besides plumbing" so they could not pull this type of stunt. I then said it's very funny that HE HIMSELF earlier said many people have the same complaint with his installations and it's clearly poor communication from an employee that's not well informed about the service. WHERE IT HIT THE FAN: He clearly did not like me saying this and it all went downhill very fast... the owner said he now realized that I really couldn't afford the work and I was trying to get the work done without paying. He added that I am just a terrible person and I probably don't even have the money on me. I asked him if he realizes how unprofessional he's acting and how it reflects on his business. He started backtracking when I said the last thing I'm going to accept is someone essentially saying I'm stealing from him. The rest of the conversation was him saying he will just rip out the granite and give me my money back. I would have been fine with that as long as he gave me my money first, but conveniently he needed me to sign a release and then he would refund me later. NO THANKS. Considering how unprofessional he was, why wouldn't he take his granite and speed off without ever refund me? In the end, if I didn't pay him it's really just he said/she said and he could put a mechanic's lien on my condo, which would cost much more to fight than a few hundred dollars to fix his shoddy job. I gave his installer the check and told them this would end our relationship. Others may have had a great experience. But do you really want to deal with an owner who laughs at, mocks, and calls his customers liars and thieves who can't afford his services? I RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY.
