Do not fall for this company’s marketing and 4-5 star reviews. Their sales team (Vladi and Tony) make big commitments and promises to get you to sign the contract, however, the construction crew and Steve (owner) unfortunately cannot deliver on those commitments or stand behind the quality or warranty they promise in the contract. We did a good sized kitchen remodel project with them last year and faced many issues. In fact, we have currently filed a complaint with CLBS after making numerous and unsuccessful attempts with Steve (owner) to reach a fair resolution. The biggest and most unpleasant experience for us has been with our flooring and their inconsistent responses on the issue. Less than 2 weeks after we started the project (kitchen demolition was done), Musk wanted to do a change order to remove the installation services for our staircase flooring and kitchen countertop. The delivery lead (Eugene) said their people didn’t have the skills to do this work and sales should not have committed to these services. We agreed to it given the project was already in progress and thinking they were at least being honest - naively, we missed the warning sign here that they didn’t have the competency to do any flooring work at all. Before the floor was installed, my husband and I asked the contractor and workers multiple times about preparing and leveling the subfloor per manufacturer’s guidelines (based on a friend’s experience) and they kept assuring us that it won’t be necessary for our floor type and they have done all the necessary cleaning. Unsurprisingly, post installation (and to date) the floor was crackling and moving in many places and when we pointed this during walk-through we were assured by Musk that the noise is temporary and will go away once we placed our furniture on top. The flooring was also installed with a bad divider between rooms with a sharp edge that is super unsafe for children. 3 months after the project (after full payment) things got worse with crackling and loose boards, we contacted Musk and asked them honor their warranty and fix our flooring. Steve kept arguing there was nothing wrong with installation, while we maintained that his team did not follow manufacturer’s guidelines and level the subfloor properly for a floating floor installation which was clearly the root cause. When we asked Steve to do the right thing and re-install our flooring properly OR refund us the cost and refused to do either and offered to fix a few planks if needed for additional cost. We are now stuck with a flooring we hate, for which we paid over $12/sqft for installation to Musk and our only respite is to take this CLBS and Small claims court :( Fwiw, they did well on the rest of the job - kitchen cabinet install and backsplash. However this flooring thing has left a bad taste for us. We wish we had checked references, but will happily be one for anyone who wants to avoid falling into a similar situation again.

I was first apprehensive about embarking on a kitchen remodelling project because of my hectic schedule. Nonetheless, the contractor ensured that everything went well and without any worry. Their expertise and efficiency were exceptional, starting with the first consultation and continuing till the finishing touches. Our daily lives have been improved by the recently renovated kitchen, which has also given our house a dash of contemporary elegance.
