Very helpful with great customer service. Took care of us well after our install however after we noticed a crack in the composite sink they had installed, they cracked out granite in two places to get the sink out. So now we have crack lines on our granite

Fantastic experience working with our designer Shannon. She took our kitchen to a whole new level. She was able to walk us through the process of picking out our cabinets and countertops with ease. She was great to work with, great communicator, and the price was extremely reasonable. Could not be happier with how our kitchen turned out. I guess I was super disappointed today when I went into the store. I loved the appearance but was not greeted as I thought I should. The sales lady was less than welcoming. I explained we were just getting started in a small bathroom project. I really wanted education on the best product for our shower. We approached her desk and was never asked to sit down to explain our project. We awkwardly sat and explained our plan. I was quickly informed that she wouldn’t bother showing us around due the possibility of a reminant being available at the warehouse. She quickly typed up a quote. We took it, my husband nicely asked well do you have any ideas here that we may see that could also be at the warehouse? She replied she had no idea what was available at the warehouse. I feel I never even mentioned a reminant but wanted to see styles or get ideas. Feeling her vibe, we decided to look around the showroom ourselves because obviously she wasn’t leaving her desk. We walked over to the quartz section and were thinking of our design admiring some of the colors. Within 30 seconds we were abruptly interrupted. She chimed in to inform us that we needed to pull aside anything we touched to be sanitized. Side note, I myself am a nurse and my husband an ER PA (well aware of COVID) I just felt as if I was a complete burden and unwelcome. We plan to pursue our other recommendations. I guess this is just my opinion. You make yours. Thanks.

Shannon did a great job of incorporating our ideas with hers, and made the remodel fit our older home. Motor City Granite is great. They did my Kitchen in 2018, Bathroom this year and fireplace surround. I have used 2 other vendors for previous Kitchen and Bar and had issues with both. Motor City's attention to detail, measuring, quality and entire process is fantastic. Their installers are amazing, Frank the Plant Manager is awesome. Pricing is very competitive and selection of product they can get almost all products. I purchased my kitchen granite three years ago. They did a fantastic job and I am very happy with their work and professionalism. About a month ago I needed an additional small piece of granite for my new cooking range trim. This was because I changed my cook top. Charlie was very good and understood my needs. He cut the granite and provided it to me at no charge. This is what customer service is all about. All companies are good before and during the sale. What counts is how they are after the sale -- especially three years later! I would strongly recommend Motor City Granite over other granite places. You will be really impressed.

I researched many places before picking Motor City Granite because I wanted the best price and a particular cut out of the Quarz for a range top. Not only did I get the best price, but they didn't charge for the cutout which other companies wanted $500-$800 to do. It was they're first timing doing this type of cut and it was an amazing fit, actually what I had hoped for. The sales folks are great and don't try and push you to buy extras to pad the bill. I've sent many friends to Motor City Granite and they have all had satisfying experiences.

My experience with Motor City Granite could not have been any better! True professionalism in all stages of buying and installing my granite counter tops. First of all was how helpful the person was in the store when I went to pick out a color and get a quote. she spent time with me getting all the measurements down and quoting several different colors. Next came the person to take exact measurements for my install. I was surprised how fast he could be scheduled for my measurements as well as how fast once the measurements were complete I could be scheduled for an install. next were the two guys who came to install my granite tops. They were right on time and they completed installing my tops in a very short amount of time, including removing my old tops and hauling them away. I had a little problem with my bathroom top which was rectified by the owner himself as he came out to my house to discuss my problem and he corrected it to my upmost satisfaction!! Very nice to see a company truly care about customer satisfaction!! Last, Motor City Granite pricing was very competitive. In fact, they were several hundred dollars cheaper for the same granite color than Home Depot which I was really surprised. Plus they could complete the install in several weeks shorter than Home Depot. In summary, one of the best level of service I have experienced in years!! As a result, I have recommended Motor City Granite to many of my friends and relatives and will continue to do for years to come!!

Our experience was great. There were, as always, a few things that needed to be added to the job. The carpentry in our recently bought home needed to be shored up and leveled to support granite. The Motor City Granite company set me up with a fine carpenter who did the job almost immediately taking about 4 hours. There was one setback due to the uneven carpentry along with a small hairline fracture that was probably in the piece. This problem resulted in a piece of granite breaking. Motor city worked with the problem to accommodate our change of design for the bathroom. Folks should know that complex projects like ours generally have a few kinks. The important thing is that Motor City Granite gave total support to iron out the kinks. I definitely will have them do more work for me at some time in the future. This is a fine company that deserves recognition.

I was looking for a unique piece of granite for my new kitchen that would make my vision complete. They directed me to several warehouses they work with and found the perfect piece. Joan was a joy to work with and everyone was very polite and helpful. The job was measured and installed as promised and the price was reasonable. We ended up buying faucets and a silgranite sink that I absolutely LOVE from Motor City as well and they have a plumber that completed the job. There was an issue with my slab that came from the warehouse but Charlie the owner rectified the situation to our satisfaction to make our kitchen a stunner!

I wanted a granite countertop for my main floor bathroom vanity. We looked around from this place all the way down to the multitude of granite shops south east of Lake Orion in Shelby/Sterling Heights. We didn't want anything fancy so we found a classic looking Gaillo Ornamental. All the shops must order from the same place because they all have this style. Long story short, MCG had the best price for what I wanted. The ordering process was pretty simple and I was able to come to an agreement on the details and price over the phone which was nice instead of having to come in again to the store. Frank came out within 3 business days to do the measurements (I did call on Friday early afternoon). The installation was scheduled for a week later but luckily there was an opening a few days before. We scheduled for Thursday from 1-3pm. I asked for a 30min lead time so I could leave work and meet them at the house. 1pm went by, 2pm, I called Frank at 3pm and he said that they got held up on another job and would definitely finish that day. I went home early from work to meet them. They didn't show up to my house until 4:30pm. Frank did text me 15 min before they arrived, but I really could have used more advanced notice and a more reliable time (I'm sure most people don't have as flexible of work schedules). The installers were very nice and made sure to let me know everything that they were doing. Really nice guys. They finished in about an hour. After they left I noticed that they didn't clear caulk an area where the counter met the backsplash and there was caulk residue on the countertop that I had to razor blade off. Both I fixed without effort, but I felt there could have been more attention to detail. The holes for the cold side valve were also off center from the other two holes. There was enough play in the valves that I could make it work and the beauty ring would cover it, but again I wanted more attention to detail especially since it was such a small piece. The finished product had great fit/finish once everything was done. Overall, it was a good experience and I would buy from them again. If the installers just took a little more attention to the small details it would be a perfect experience. It really does look great. I would order from them again and just check out the work before they leave. Update: The owner called me when I mentioned the issues and he had someone out the next day to fix the small issues. Great service. I still would give them 4 stars because it could have been done the first time, but I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to another person.

All the good reviews I read and heard about this company helped us to make the decision to go with them for our new kitchen counter. I know wish I hadn't. We must be the exception to all the reviews because the experience wasn't that good. It started with a hole being put in our ceiling from moving the granite in place. It finish with wondering if I'll be able to cover the hole left between the wall and the granite. it was measured and templated with tile going in down to the granite. The template job must not have been good or the milling was way off. I can stick my finger behind the counter. I'll find out how good this company stands behind their product.

This company was hired by our general contractor for our home in Rochester Hills. They installed granite in our basement kitchen and bathroom and quartz in upstairs kitchen and bathrooms. The upstairs kitchen countertop was partially installed but paid in full and when I called to ask them to install the remaining countertop, they had sold it to someone else with no explanation. We were told to purchase a new slab which is around 2200. Workmanship wise, we have a crack in the backsplash in our basement bathroom. It looks like it was glued together. The edges/corners for the upstairs counter are uneven (some rounded and some squared). We have a new contractor installing the remaining countertop and they are trying to fix what they can.

The office failed to communicate a change in sink (single to double) with the installers prior to measurement and caused a big problem at time of install. Appointment dates such as for measuring were changed without consulting with consumer or giving notice. The sales staff did not explain all that needs done by the homeowner post install like dishwasher anchoring, etc. Not a single apology from the office. I will never recommend this company or use them for my 3 bathrooms, bar, etc.
