Beware! No contracts given. Improper and unprofessional installation of an Exotic level of quartzite, purchased at Francini’s. They did damage to other appliances in my kitchen as well. My sink is held up by a 2x4. The overhang standard is 1 1/2 inches, my overhang was different on every piece of stone.

Made two appointments for estimates, they didn't show for either one of them, then made another appointment, they showed up, took measurements, and never heard a word. No estimated given. I used them a couple of years ago and the did a good job on a renovation project. But today, not so much.

I really can't say enough good things about this company! The office girls were very helpful and knew exactly what I was looking for. The install was completed in a very quick and timely manner. The team did an amazing job in our tight space. They left us the sink cut out which we brought back later to have cut down to top a small cabinet we added afterwards and they did that for us at no charge. Who does that now a days?? I highly recommend this business!!

Pros: Best price, by 600 dollars. They also had the granite slab we liked the best. They appear to be the only place in Wilmington that has granite on-site, and also installs it. There was a guy out by the airport that had granite on-site as well, but he just told me he wouldn't be close to their price, and we didn't really like anything he had on-hand.
Cons: From my experience, the entire company is Mexican. There were many calls to the owner, who I never spoke with. The person who came out to do the template (what they use to cut the granite), ignored the cut out I had made for the sink. He only paid attention to the outside boarders of the countertops, so whoever cut the granite, just put the sink where they wanted to. "This is how we always do it", is the only explanation we received. This was a very big deal, because when they came to install, the sink cutout did not match up. Long story short, it cost me hundreds of dollars, and three extra days to get my sink in, and it would have taken the installers about 3 minutes to avoid the problem in the first place. (The faucet cutout was partially ontop of a 2x4, that I could not access between the sink and the back wall).
My other option would have been to have them redo the whole thing, but then I would have to sacrifice the slab that we loved, the very reason we picked them in the first place. So I just had to solve the issue myself, and deal with the sink not being where I want it, for as long as I live here.
I would recommend Mid-Atlantic if you speak fluent Spanish, AND if you have a very straight forward job. If you have require any alterations, or need to speak with someone as you go, I would not recommend Mid-Atlantic. Being able to have a conversation with the people working on your home is something I under-valued. Lesson learned.
And yes, I agree with all of you shaking your heads at me...you get what you pay for!
One more thing, and this goes for every granite countertop company...ask for the 'out the door' price. They all nickel and dime you....sink cut-out, dish washer bracket, removal of the old countertops, hooking up the sink, faucet, rounding the edges and corners....the base price is only 70% of the actual bill. Every time they say, 'oh, yes, we can do that', what they mean is, 'oh great, we can bill you for that'.
This company was a pleasure to deal with. So responsive and easy to communicate with. So painless. So well priced. No bogus add-on fees or charges. Good selection. After 6 weeks of spinning our wheels with Lowe's we bailed on Lowe's and came to Mid Atlantic. Mid Atlantic did the job within 10 days and for about half the cost. We noticed a scratch a few days later. They came right back and buffed it out free of charge - no questions asked. We are very happy with the result and we feel good about what we spent.
