Tried to swing by, and it was closed with a sign to schedule an appointment. Emailed to schedule an appointment, and they said to come by with updated hours. Tried to come by, closed again. Don't recommend.

Just bought a beautiful granite countertop remnant from MG Stone Work and am very happy with it and the customer service from Vicki! They keep their main gate locked on Bayshore blvd. so make sure you call the number to have someone buzz it open for you.

Was here to get an estimate for my kitchen. Very professional. Note for visitors, I've learned they keep their gate closed because had a problem with homeless wanders coming in digging through their trash. So you should ring the doorbell on the left gate for entry instead of assuming they are closed unlike what some people are saying.

We just had MG Stone fabricate & install a quartz countertop in our home. Phil was extremely helpful & made suggestions that worked well for us. Even though our job was a small one, Phil gave it a lot of attention, and his price was very affordable & fair. we are very pleased with the quality of the work. If you're looking to have a countertop installed, you'll be very happy if you go to MG Stone.

I'm so thankful to my architect for recommending MG Stone Work. Before I found them, I was in contact with a well-known high-end stone fabricator, but I'm so glad I went with MG Stone instead. The second I met Vicky, I knew I was in good hands. She's kind, gentle, patient, and has an art degree from a San Francisco college. She knows how to match the perfect stone to my taste. Philip, who handled the technical aspects of the stone work, was also great. He's very patient, and a perfectionist. Their fabrication/installation crew was also very detail oriented and did a great job for us. MG Stone Work charged a very fair price for their high-quality work and is a one stop shop (they also sell the stones if you prefer buying from them), and I can't recommend them enough to anyone who wants beautiful stonework and great customer service.

Vicky is such a sweetheart! I purchased Cambria Montgomery slabs from MG Stone 8 years ago. Then last winter at a party, I learned that my friend had his quartz remnant made into a board for his kids to use for baking on their wooden dining table. I was so sad I didn't think of this genius idea. I reached out to MG Stone Work asking if they have any remnants. Vicky said no, but she'll keep an eye out for me. I thought she'd be like the typical sales rep and never hear back from her again, so I set semi-annual reminders to check in periodically. To my amazement, a few months later, Vicky reached out! My heart leapt as I read her message that a remnant became available. She is so nice, always so patiently answering my questions. Vicky takes really good care of her clients and definitely will go the extra mile to help you!

I needed my granite countertop cut an inch and a half to add room for a new modern refrigerator. MG came back with a timely quote and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend for work of this type.

Vicky is amazing to work with. We were very anal about the swirl on our Cambria quartz and she and the team aligned and matched everything up perfectly. She used her computer to show us her recommended pattern on how it would be cut and lined up (because our countertops were too long for one slab). We couldn't be happier with the results and installation. We have used other fabricators, but none of them did such a great job as MG Stoneworks.

Everyone I dealt with here was super helpful and professional! Ming and Vicky were such a joy. I wish all vendors would be so caring, considerate and helpful to customers. I called several suppliers of Dekton in an attempt to find a remnant for my bathroom countertop. Vicky was able to locate a remnant same day, priced it for me and wasn't a bank breaker. Another company called me back three weeks after my call and wanted 3X as much, that's when I really realized how honest MG Stone was, as they are in SF and the other supplier was not! Ming had to come out a few times and that was because our "custom cabinet" was not made to the specifications we provided. He helped my contractor come with a solution. He didn't even have to do that! It wasn't his job! The cabinet company never he responded to our inquiries after messing up. So when I tell you, MG Stone goes above and beyond, I really mean it. Any further remodels I have, or friends have, I will definitely refer. I've already given their information to my contractors!

My experience with Phillip and the team at MG Stone was that they were patient, polite, and professional. My kitchen remodel hit a snag with the city and they were really understanding. When I was finally able to execute, MG's on-site work was super clean, professional and efficient. The thing that sticks out most about my experience with MG Stone was when I ran into a problem - the vendor that installed the cabinets on this particular kitchen remodel forgot to put in a spacer between the pantry and stove, so the cabinet door was hitting the stove when it opened - which could have been a huge pain in the @$$ to remedy. The on-site install team from MG stone worked with me on-the-fly to come up with a solution that saved me weeks of possible delay and thousands of dollars by getting creative with how the stone was installed. I really felt like the guys doing the install were trying to help me succeed with my project, not just 'doing a job'. I'm a big fan of Phillip and his crew.

Had a really wonderful experience with Philip & his partner. They were exceptionally kind, informative and very accommodating & this includes their installers. I had purchased Cambria quartz in the "Swanbridge" design and although it's inherently beautiful on its own, the workmanship of MG Stone Work's cutters/installers really made it look so elegant. Like the previous reviewer, their attention to detail is pretty exemplary. They carved out the quartz to match the awkward angle of my wall & as a result, it looks seamless. Really nice work & great service! I think their pricing seems on par with other places, maybe even a smidge lower. And because my ding dong of a contractor didn't tell me that I needed an extra hole carved out for my sink counter (per CA plumbing code, an over the counter air gap is required unlike other states such as NY, where there's an option to conceal it below the counter), I had to call them to come out again, which they kindly did! Even though their appointment book was jammed pack, MGS accommodated me. Would happily work with them again! One caveat, if there's any opportunity to go to the distribution site (for Cambria, I think it's in Oakland) to look at the actual stone you're purchasing, you should do so & carefully inspect the stone. I only have one piece of stone with a small dark speck, but I am not too OCD about it.

Philip and Mig were an absolute joy to work with. Finding two individuals that know more about stone and what is available would be tough. I first connected with MG Stone Work as a recommendation by Cambria. Philip was quick to respond with a quote and explain the process. I had the opportunity to tour their shop on Bayshore and Philip walked me through some of the various countertops they were working on. What really stood out was Mig's attention to detail when he came out for templates. He pointed out a few items regarding the sink and panels that needed to be fixed prior to templates. The craftsmanship from the edges to the minimal seems are excellent. I even had them fabricate and install baseboards in our bath. Very professional, courteous, and work very quickly with lots of attention to detail. I look forward to working with MG Stone in the future.

We saw a slab that was held and promised for us by KIT. She told us to put our name on it and gave us 3 days. We called to day to confirm pickup and she said ok. 3 hours later she called and said that slab belonged to another client! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!
