This review is based on two excellent experiences with Metro Floors. In 2020, my wife and I helped with the renovation of her parents' home and we decided to go with light LVP flooring that Thom installed. His work was immaculate and he paid so much attention to detail. The house has many curves and odd cuts and each was done perfectly. He even practically rebuilt the stairs to make the flooring look better (see images). In July, we had Metro floors out again for our new-to-us home. My wife worked with Shaun in the showroom to find cost-effective solutions to replace the pink 1984 carpet and linoleum that we had. He was very professional and had Francisco and his team out to work on the project within a week. From start to finish, Francisco's team completed the job in 3 days (see images) and the end result was wonderful. We have been very satisfied with Metro Floors and would use them again in the future!

I had ordered several carpet pads online from various sources. Frustrated with those, I tried local. The people here took the time and asked me what I was looking for. I suggested one option, but they went out of their way to show me that they could order it for me and it was a more expensive approach. They then proceeded to show me there were more affordable options in another direction. So friendly, helpful and affordable, I’d be surprised if I went anywhere else.

Sean Rydell was very helpful in picking out just the right tile and carpet and was easily accessible whenever we had a question or needed any assistance. Larry the tile guy worked with us to create just the right designs for each of our rooms. The work was actually completed ahead of the time quoted! (Seriously, when does that happen?) Metro Floors did right by us once again! We used them 12 years ago and we're very happy with their quality of service then. When it came time to look for carpeting again we thought we would go with Lowe's. We found an inexpensive carpet that we liked. When we received the quote to install the labor was more than the carpet. We went back to Metro floors spine with Sean and he gave us a great price on carpeting! He came out did the measurements and he beat out Lowe's price. The installers Richard and Aaron came out today and did a spectacular job installing. 2 very hard working and professional men. This is my second review for metro! Always a pleasure doing work with them. They removed all the carpet from my stairs,landing, and upstairs hallway - added the hardwood flooring, risers, bullnose for the steps, baseboards, and worked with our uneven steps! came out amazing. Sean was able to get my carpet delivered and installed within just a couple days. Integrity and honesty in a business are so important. Problems do arise and how they treat you matters. If I could give these guys any more stars they'd get all of them! The remodeling of my kitchen had taken WAY TOO LONG, and the flooring was the last puzzle piece. Every time Sean gave me a call to see where I was at, I would apologize for having to push the date back further and further, but Sean was so supportive and patient! He was the only one that would call every month to check in. They are reliable, consistent, and actually care about their customers. When it was time for the floors to get in, the guys were so fast and so efficient! My floors look BEAUTIFUL! They were the cherry on top of my home renovations. I would like to brag about SEAN from Metro Floors. This company is one of the best flooring company AV has to offer. Let me tell you how great they are. So I got three estimates for flooring throughout AV and I decided to go with Metro Floors because I felt so comfortable with Sean and his great customer service skills. They have a big showroom and Sean invited me to come on by to check out flooring and I was there looking at numerous floorings. I was never rushed, he took the time to listen to my every needs and he delivered. There were a lot of complications with me buying my home, but Sean assured me that he will be available for me at anytime to install my flooring. I finally got my house 12/16/2020 and Sean had my flooring installed a few days before Christmas and my home was ready to move it. My home is 2200 sqft and all flooring was done. It was the best feeling and non stressful situation for me. He communicated with me everyday and they were never late to the job site. Everyone was professional and very courteous. We recently completed an entire home remodel with Metro Floors laying the groundwork with our gorgeous porcelain flooring throughout. As if it isn't enough to have these floors in our home, we were able to experience the outstanding customer service each step of the way in working with Mike and Manny from Metro. As early as three months prior to install, these guys made multiple visits to the home just to be sure we had the most suitable design plan for these truly special floors. The level of communication and care that went into this entire experience with Metro was off the charts above and beyond our expectations. While on the hunt for the wood floors right for our family, we visited Metro Floors. Sean showed us where the wood floor was and didn't hover. He was really patient as I took home sample after sample trying to find the right one. When we finally picked one, Sean worked with the distributor to get us the best deal he could. My boyfriend and I recently moved into our first house and We expectedly needed carpeting asap before we could even move in. Our realtor suggested using Metro floors and so we gave him a call. I told him of our dire situation and with out hesitation he immediately came out and showed us what he had available. We chose the perfect fit and the very next day his guys were there to install the carpet. They hustled and got it done quick. The guys were extremely nice and professional, cleaned their mess after all was done and would have never been able to tell that they were there. First, let me start by saying I DID NOT begin here! We had someone come out and measure, and I wasn't comfortable that all he was saying to my grandparents was quite right. From the measurements, to saying "These two samples are the closest you're gonna get to what you had." I thought, there's no way! The price would have seemed close to OK, that is until I actually got close and touched the carpet, let alone compared the color and quality to we asked them to match. So I began looking... EVERYWHERE! And when I did, I learned a LOT. When I did, sadly, I just confirmed more and more that over the past couple of years, too many people seem nice but take advantage of what they CAN get from you, or think you're home looks nice so they can charge more, start adding in extras that you didn't need (but hey we wouldn't know). Prices seem to be more about what they could get away with adding, or what block we lived on, that all I hoped for, which was the best price for a job well done based on what it cost, and nothing more. At this point, I'd have done business with a jerk who was straight forward before someone with a kind voice and a smile who was willing to say anything to get the sale. I called and drove all over! We live in Woodland Hills, and I drove from local stores to Thousand Oaks all the way to Commerce, then from Simi Valley to Pasadena not to mention others and spoke to several more over the 2 months it took me to feel we found the right place and someone honest. Ours was a little more complicated, and I found too many people trying to convince us we wouldn't find what we wanted and showed us what we my grandparents needed to settle for. They're in their 90's and I didn't feel OK letting them get taken advantage of, and when I began looking elsewhere, and driving further, I began to find I was correct in thinking they just weren't being told the truth. So let me just say that in case it helps someone else, I've gone ALL OVER. From large stores to outlets, and looked for not only the best price, but someone who took the time to understand what we thought were common sense questions. We didn't want a good price to equal crappy carpet, we wanted someone willing to take the extra time to find us the best they could in our price range, and who'd take the time to hunt for they type and color we wanted. So when I tell you that we ended up deciding to stop looking elsewhere once I found and had my first couple conversations with and a first estimate with Roxanne, I knew I'd keep looking but it would all be with her! So, if you've already started looking elsewhere, and are about to go with someone else, I'm telling you to at least CALL her first! And if you haven't started yet, save yourself some time and just start here! If you want someone who will make the process enjoyable because they know their stuff, a pleasure to deal with and just a sweetheart, all boxes checked here. Also, if not finding the type/color you want elsewhere, THIS IS THE COLOR CENTER for Mowhawk, so they will have more IN STOCK samples of anything and everything by Shaw, Mowhawk, Karastan, whatever!! Now add to that that Roxanne is just precious and it matters to her that she can end making you happy when all has been said and done, and not just long enough to book the job and get a check. PS you'd think I have all the time in the world writing all this, but I've been meaning to write this for 4 weeks now, and just felt she deserved it and wished I could help others not get jerked around by finally putting it in writing! By the way, she sent Raphael as the head installer who was someone she felt especially confident in. He was great, and beyond honest and so helpful! Thanks to the both of you! OMG our carpet is just SOOOO soft!

We had a great experience with Mr. Parker and he did not try to upsell us. We told him what we wanted to spend and he respected that. He showed us what was avail and that actually, it was not only reasonable and durable but one of the most popular choices. We really liked its looks, feel and quality. Parker even offered to come on Mother's Day, but we said no, go spend time with your family. So they came on Wednesday and began Thursday. The men Rafael and Ivan did a fabulous job and respectfully moved our furniture around so they could do the job. They knew it would be a 2-day job so they did the bedrooms first so we could set them back up for obvious reasons. It looks beautiful and elegant. Initially, we were going to Carpeteria, but we found the owner to be disinterested in our needs to bother and their sales lady was just rude beyond words. I'll take "Tommy Mohawk" over Carpeterias Jeannie Man any day. I plan on sitting on Metro carpet not flying on fly by night carpet that is sold by people who really don't care if they sell to you or not. Thank You, Metro for actually selling us a great Carpet and for less than your competitor and with friendly welcoming not put upon service.

Best carpet purchasing experience and install ever!!! We needed to replace carpeting in 3 bedrooms and 2 bonus rooms and match it to the master bedroom, staircase and hallways which had been replaced a year ago after some remodeling. Sean was terrific assisting in matching the old new carpet that was no longer available. The install was perfect! Then heart break... red spots started showing up on the carpet. I called Sean in a panic. He and Mike came out almost immediately to see what the issue was. We concluded that it was tiny ink "balls" from and old ink pen that when touched burst. I called a carpet cleaner that Sean had recommended. He was able to get out all the spots except for 2 areas. Sean had the carpet installers come out and patch the 3 foot square area. It's perfect! I highly recommend Metro-floors!!

I had problems with a floor installation. Metro helped me go over what was wrong and get my money back. Sean was very helpful. He answered any questions I had and sent Tom over to do the new installation. The work looks beautiful! My house was straightened up and cleaned every day at the end of working. We are new to the area just renovated our home. Metro floors, specifically DL Parker, were highly recommend by our realtor. We were so lucky and there is no way anyone would have done a better job. Quick, fair quote, and lots of flexibility in job completion (we had several different jobs being complete and the floor was installed in parts). Manuel and his crew removed 2300sqft of tile and reinstalled new tile and baseboard. It was ALOT of work. They moved furniture and worked around my wild children. Always on time and clean. Zero issues. My other contractors were even impressed with the floor work. I would recommend to anyone.

After looking at all the big stores, and carpet everywhere I went, and being kind of indecisive and getting several quotes from other flooring places- we decided to go with Metro Floors and we are so glad we did! Every step of the process was wonderful- Sean came out and measured super quickly, never pressured me to choose my carpet, offered me everything in my budget! The day of installation came and 3 installers showed up - Douglas, Rafael and Ivan and they were amazing! Worked hard, moved all the furniture, hauled the old carpet down the stairs and new carpet up the stairs. Donny made me a matching area rug 8x10 for the downstairs wood floor - So Mike you have a great business over there on Yucca and quality product and service! Thank you I'll let everyone I know to do business with Metro- they're the best!

I am giving 5 because I cant go higher!!!! Metro Floors did an incredible job on my floors. From the very beginning on taking measurements to answering all of my questions. This company knows how to take care of customers and potential customers. A guy named Parker came out and was very friendly. When I went to the store to look at samples (which they have ALOT of) he took his time explaining the different types and their pros and cons with what I needed and wanted. I am coming back to get some carpet put down and Metro Floors is the only place that I trust and respect with the knowledge, skills and variety of carpets and floors. Do yourself a favor and let Metro Floors take care of you. You wont regret it and it will save you time and money and no hassle.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Great customer service, excellent work on my laminate and tile floors. Courteous, professional, on time, reasonable pricing. The crew took pride in their work. Nothing was overlooked and I was well-informed about my purchase. Ask for Sean over there. The only place for floors!!!

Everyone at Metro floors were great to work with. Sean Rydell was very helpful in picking out just the right tile and carpet and was easily accessible whenever We had a question or needed any assistance. Larry the tile guy worked with us to create just the right designs for each of our rooms. The work was actually completed ahead of the time quoted! (Seriously, when does that happen?) Sean showed up during both the tile and carpet installations to make sure we were happy with the job and called to keep us updated the whole time. We definitely felt that the customer service and workmanship was excellent.

First they were prompt in their appointment for an estimate. Their estimate was reasonable. They bid the job, scheduled, showed up timely and consistently until completion. The install is going on as I write this review. They are installing luxury plank vinyl flooring and doing an awesome job. The preparation and installation work is substantial. The installation is meticulous with great attention to detail. Their employee's work VERY hard and are VERY courteous and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about their work ethic. The employee's even offered to help me move a few thing around. I cannot say enough good things about these folks.

I am so pleased with my experience from Metro Flooring. Sean came to my house twice, & was so helpful. The tile on my kitchen & laundry room floor had cracks in it, & needed replacing. I told Sean that I would like to have the same tile, as it matched the flooring in another room. He was able to match it, & told me that the reason it was cracking was due to not having a cement subfloor. The installers were beyond fantastic. They were very hard workers, & did a terrific job. I would definitely recommend Metro Flooring!!
