I can not say enough good things about Marmol Hawaii. When we were remodeling our house, Talia patiently answered all of my questions, and made recommendations based on my needs and color palate. When I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, the owner of the company went to the mainland and picked out the perfect slabs for us. He even came to the job site to make sure the installation went smoothly. Everyone we came across at Marmol was knowledgeable, friendly and so accommodating. The quality of product at Marmol and the customer service is unparalleled. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I love my kitchen transformation from Marmol, Hawaii! The team at Marmol was so helpful with our selection and we learned so much about the various types of products. Our kitchen had grey Corian countertops which were not eye-catching, and definitely not practical. The team at Marmol helped us select a gorgeous yet practical alternative that we have been living with and loving for over a year. The installation was so well orchestrated and professional, I would highly recommend Marmol to anyone who wants a kitchen upgrade that is well worth the investment!

I had the pleasure of having my new kitchen counters installed by Marmol Hawaii. I looked at all the other granite companies and found theirs to be the best in quality, availability and price. The whole process from purchase to completion was 8 days. Gilbert and his crew worked quickly and efficiently to complete the install in one day. All of the pieces were precut and finished for the table and 3 counters. I have no complaints at all. Our property value has increased and we now have a kitchen that is practical and beautiful. Their quality and professionalism is second to none.

Marmol has the most beautiful stone I have ever seen. They gave me an incredible price by basically giving the stone for free and only charging labor. David the owner is not only a joy to deal with but very patient and knowledgeable. I only wish I had known about them sooner!

If I had read reviews previously about this business I would have not purchased my flooring from this establishment. Please do your due diligence people. I had purchased travertine stone for my home renovation from Marmol Hawaii. The purchasing/delivery process went relatively smooth, it was the inventory aspect that I had a problem with. I had been shorted about 100 sq.ft of material that they we certain was all there upon purchase. Upon my discovery they had sold their remaining material to another contractor, from whom they tried to reclaim to replace mine. I had made multiple calls and request to resolve this in a timely manner, in which many phone calls were not returned. I had to physically go in and speak to them multiple times until a resolution came about. I'm not sure what kind of business principles this place operates under but it is extremely deficient in customer service, ethics and has no sense of urgency! In the end they went to Lowe's to replace the missing inventory that was much lower in cost that what I had paid and took at least 3 weeks or more to resolve.

Aloha We purchased our current home two years ago and just completed the installation of our beautiful custom granite countertops in our entire kitchen and two bathrooms. Before our new granite could be install installed Marmol removed our old granite countertops, backsplash and sub top. This was a big job and Marmol performed it without a single scratch to our cabinets or home. Once the demo was completed Gilbert and his team installed all new 3/4” sub base and made templates to ensure granite was fabricated to exact dimensions. Excellent job! This is the third time Marmol has installed granite for us over the years. This time was no different . We received excellent sales and customer service from Talia, Dan and the owner Dave. We also received excellent fabrication and installation from Gilbert and his crew. Very professional, organized and clean work habits. It is with great difficulty that we write this review, especially in view of the exceptional service of the once-employed sales rep, Matthew Ragusa. Matthew went to great lengths to accommodate our order and store materials for us until we could arrange shipment to Molokai. At the end of the day, this company is holding ~ $15,000 in trust, money IN FULL that we paid for tile never received. Two different orders. We are happy to provide PDFs of our purchase orders upon request. They sold everything out from under us and are expecting us to disappear. They seem to believe that this money was a gift or a donation of some kind to this company. We wrote the CEO, David Cadis to account, and no response. In fact, we have called this company multiple times and they hang up on us and tell us that they didn’t receive our emails in the same breath. To emphasize, they have also sold both of our orders out from under us to third parties without accountability. This review is holding them to account. Please be careful when you deal with this firm, based on our direct and truthful experience as we are expressing in this review. Very disappointing that they would treat Ohana and this way. We will take all legal measures to recover, but as we have to resort to this remedy, we feel compelled to share our truthful and direct experience with the public. Proceed with caution.

Marmol did an amazing job on completely remodeling our shower. We were unsure of what we wanted, working with a small shower I wanted it to feel larger. The owner, David looked at my original design and helped me reconfigure the shower and add a bench that I thought we wouldn't be able to fit. He also picked out the most beautiful marble tiles all while working with our budget. David and everyone at Marmol were so thoughtful and helpful, even on such a small project, I can't say enough good things about my experience. The shower feels so large and looks better than we could have imagined. We will definitely be back when we are ready to do our kitchen!

The sales person was very nice but the service was not. I had to keep calling to have the granite shipped to our island. Also, the shipping charge that she estimated for us was far less than the actual charge. Then, I have had to call numerous times to get a refund on the A-frame deposit after it was returned to them. After a month , still no refund. I will never do business with this company again.

Dave was absolutely INCREDIBLE in his assistance to us. Brian too was beyond helpful, especially when Dave was travelling. We could not ask for better materials or more professional people to work with. Our pool redesign looks breathtaking! We've received so many compliments. We sit in front of it every morning with our coffee before starting our day. It brings us such peace. We could not have chosen better partners to work with. Highly recommend them! We will continue using them moving forward with our home renovation. Thank you so much Dave and Brian!

I worked with Daniel the owner today and we had to change the counter top piece we had previously purchased. The fabricator that came to our house from Marmol the day before had noticed a problem with the piece we had hoped to use. David bent over backwards to make sure we were satisfied and couldn't have been more patient. He helped us through our situation and we couldn't be more pleased. Great company to work with!

My wife and I were looking for a local marble and porcelain source that had a large selection of material and that would also be able to provide for their own in-house installers for our complete kitchen remodeling project . After repeatedly striking out because of other suppliers that had limited selections or that they did not install what they sold we finally found Marmol. We were definitely not experienced marble customers and we needed someone who could also help us select material for our kitchen island and counter tops that matched our specific design needs. Fortunately we met Talia on our first visit and quickly felt that she was focused on helping us find the correct material, color and availability to suite our needs and we were delighted with the material choice that she was quickly able to source for us. As a contractor I know that great products are quickly diminished in value unless they are matched with experienced installation and we were very impressed with Gilbert's patience in helping us make the right decisions regarding the layout and his workmanship was flawless . As an unexpected bonus ,Talia was also able to find a separate source for the Italian porcelain flooring which turned our kitchen into a virtual showplace. We highly recommend Marmol for quality material and exceptional installation

I'm sad to see such poor reviews for Marmol because I had a very positive experience. When I entered, I announced to the 2-3 staffers in the room that I was looking for just one piece of travertine tile to match my existing bathroom floor. Lei jumped up and cheerfully walked me outside to where they keep the remnants. She treated me as if I was going to tile an entire apartment building instead just one tiny section of my bathroom, helping me go through several piles of travertine until I found something to match. Then she carried it to my car! Instead of demanding payment, she told me to call her after I confirmed it's a match and we'd talk about payment then. Everyone has a small request from time to time and it's very rare to find someone like Lei who is willing to help. If you ever need stone, I highly recommend Lei at Marmol.

My wife and I absolutely love Marmol's granite selection. They have tons of full-sized slabs plus remnants outside - smaller pieces of various sizes. If it's raining you'll need your umbrella or jacket, or better yet come back on a sunny day to see the selection better. So far we've bought: - a full-size slab for our kitchen. We paid for the whole thing up front as we were sure that's what we wanted. Marmol held it for about 4-5 months until our renovation was proceeding and our fabricator could pick it up. No problems at all, perhaps because we didn't do that down payment game someone else did without committing to their own decision. I advise that you should just be sure about your choice. Take the time to examine the slab, measure the slab, talk to your contractor, etc. before committing to buying it. Marmol will pull the slab out with their forklift so you can get a better look at it - do that! We did. We also came back the next day to look at it when we realized the dim evening light was playing tricks on our eyes - we wanted to be sure. And wipe it down with a cloth to make sure it looks the way you think. All that will help you avoid the issues some of the other reviewers mentioned. - a remnant for a bathroom. Marmol's fabricator did a great/professional job - installed the piece with a 6" backsplash. My only complaint might be that their fabrication services are a bit pricey, but they'd argue you get what you pay for. For our current renovation projects we're using our contractor's fabricator instead of Marmol's, so this part is certainly up to you. Marmol's folks definitely do a good job. They even asked me to come down and check how they were going to cut the remnant - i.e. what part of it would end up as our vanity countertop. I very much appreciated that commitment to customer satisfaction by their fabricator. - porcelain tiles for our tub to shower stall conversion, for the walls. They had to order a bunch in special from California - no issues. They came in at around 5-6 weeks (plan ahead!). - now we're shopping for a remnant for another bathroom, and I stopped by today and saw they have bunches of possibilities. We'll be going back. So we love their selection, and haven't had the issues some of the other reviewers have had, but we also know you should be really careful making your choice BEFORE you pay. Take your time, plan way ahead, have them pull the slab or remnant out, clean it with a cloth or ask them to, take its picture and think about it, come back the next day, etc. etc. and then commit to your choice. Now our kitchen is beautiful, two bathrooms are beautiful, and one more to go...

I had the best experience working with Marmol on our diy kitchen renovation. We made/installed almost everything on our project but had Marmol manufacture and install our island and counter surfaces. Our renovation was very cheap but we wanted something very special to make our kitchen look great so we splugged on the counters. Talia helped us pic colors and styles and Mike did a great job manufacturing and installing the counters. This is the second time we used Marmol for counters and both times my family was left very pleased. Place see the attached picture of their work. Take note of the cut and polish of the undermount sink. It makes a huge difference.

I recently bought my first house and wanted to remodel the kitchen. I was referred by a friend that been to Marmol before and had a great experience. When I first got there I was surprised on the variety I had to choose from, so much material, granite, marble, etc... If your like me the more choices you have the more indecisive you get. David helped me so much, definitely a well deserved 5 star from start to finish. He helped narrow my selection, worked with me on design. He was so knowledge about all the material, fabricators, and made the whole process of having the I install in my home well worth coming back for any other project I have in the future. I will be recommending Marmol to all my friends and family. A+

Marmol has excellent products and excellent customer service. I spent weeks working with Marmol and they were extremely helpful. Marmol Hawaii is a company with a huge variety of large rock slabs for kitchen counters, islands, back-splashes, and any pattern application of rock slabbing. Excellent service in our purchasing process. The only difficulty was which of the many rock patterns to choose. Some are highly figured, some very colorful, some more understated. We search all the suppliers locally and many had nice materials and seemed easy to work with. The variety of patterns and colors seems the greatest at Marmol. Ours was a large project which I believe is what they may be best suited for. The next stage was installation. Installation has two aspects. 1. Cutting the patterned rock (highly figured granite in our case) so that when installed the rock parts (counter tops, island, back splashes) integrate the patterns well. This function is non trivial -- in our case the pattern was very heterogeneous (which we wanted). The granite had different veins, different coloring features and assorted patterns making for beautiful, but more difficult tasks in installation. The individual at Marmol who laid out the pieces and patterns integrated the stone in different regions with great success. Impressive. 2. installation. Within the installation challenges are inserting truely heavy sections into their correct location without chipping, scratching or breaking. When the sections are installed, the seams must meet tight and clean to have the best visual impact. Again, excellence. The stone was in very large slabs all of which (4 in our case) were cut sequentially which is important when integration of multiple sections in a single kitchen is required. I view the layout and slicing tasks as challenging. All were very well done indeed. The individuals at Marmol were very easy to work with, accommodations and eager to make the installation result of highest quality. And, it was/is. My wife and I recommend Marmol Hawaii without reservations. 11 out of 10 points for our experience with Marmol Hawaii.

I'm looking for new granite counter tops and the contractor sent me to Marmol as one of the places to make a selection from. Well, how hard can this be? I don't have a lot of time, I'm busy, I'm leaving on another trip yada yada yada! I didn't know there are so many choices. What type of trim? Do you want a backsplash up to the cabinets? Do you want 6" or 4" trim on the wall behind matching? What are you doing behind the range? WHATS YOUR COLOR PALLETE? The sales people were very helpful explaining what each style will look like. How much granite I will need and the benefits of dark vs light. Then they asked about access because of the weight of the slabs, the length of the slabs. Geez I already have a kitchen and they did get counters in so it must be possible. TMI gotta run. Funny thing, they asked the same questions at the other two places. Of the three choices this is my place. Beautiful selections, knowledgable staff.

we stopped by to browse for a counter for our kitchen project. we spoke with the owner and with a sales rep. we fell in love with a certain stone. the owner encouraged us to place a "downpayment" to hold it as he stated he had witnessed many people come back months later when they were ready for the project only to have their stone sold out. I discussed it could be over 4-6 months before we start. he said it was no big deal, they do this all the time and its best to "hold it". we decided to do the "downpayment" for the product and install which basically was the price of the stone. (We would still have to pay the rest cutting/install later) fast forward the 4 months we told them it would take. we had the dreaded unexpected complications and had to readjust our budget accordingly: we can't use the stone. I called Marmol today expecting they would understand (they seemed so understanding of our situation before and said it would be no problem). I figured they may charge us a cancellation fee. Nope. 15 days after purchase, no refunds, was the response- The stone is ours now, "you bought it, you can do what you want with it." I told them when we placed the "downpayment"we were very clear that we were still in the planning phase and months away from the actual renovations- and they said "no big deal, you just wanna make sure we don't run out of this stone". The owner of the company said it was better to "hold" it that day. Now they say, oh its been more than 15 days, nothing we can do.... what a dirty sales tactic. I will let all my friends renovating know to steer clear. This is not how an honest business is run. now I have to figure out what to do with stone I "bought" with a "downpayment". I have no use for it or ability to move it.... think carefully before the same happens to you Update: 7/24/2018 After initially telling us the stone was ours and they would not accept return or cancellation fees, Marmol said that we could exchange it for something else in the store. (After many calls by me and my husband ). We needed flooring. They have nice flooring. The same msi porcelain tile was much less at Home Depot but We decided it was best to try to recoup some of the 7k we lost on the counter.... well the tiles look good. Since they allowed us to exchange it I changed the rating from 1star. I think 2.5 Star is fair. I'm thankful some kind of middle ground was reached. I'm still disappointed and I hope they stop telling people who are starting to look months away from a Reno that they can "hold" product with a "down payment" before it runs out. It is straight up buying the product- with a strict no return policy after a few days. they should be clear and use that wording. I still have a sour taste in my mouth... I'm glad they at least tried to make it right...

We ordered a remnant piece and paid in full at the time of purchase. The purchase also included installation. To help them out we made the template for them to cut the stone for the cabinet. It took a long time for delivery and when we called, they mentioned that it did not include the installation. Of course that was a major concern especially since full payment was made up front. After some back and forth, they did install but they did not use the template we provided. It was not a precise cut and they had to make several adjustments. Overall the installation was sloppy and we were not happy. I would have second thought about Marmol Hawaii. Service, support and technical skill are all to be considered.

Nice showroom, Lackluster customer service. The first time I went there I told the gentlemen at the front desk what I was looking for in a natural stone backsplash tile. I showed him a few samples that were close to what I was hoping to find. He said he would look at a few suppliers and see what was available. Never got a call. I visited a couple weeks later and found out that the guy I was talking to got let go. No problem, it happens. I gave his replacement the same information. She promptly emailed me back with what she had found, but only gave a product name. No description, picture, or attachment of any kind. I emailed her back asking for more info, but got no reply. I went back to the showroom, to see if I could view what she had proposed. She asked a salesman about what they had "Googled." The salesman pulled up the product and showed me something that was miles from what I had asked for. Not even the same type of tile. I described what I was looking for again and the salesman told me that this was all he could find. He explained to me that the manufacturers only produce a certain number of styles and that they probably don't have it. He seemed bothered by my presence and didn't appear to have any interest in putting forth more effort that a single Google search to assist me. If it was as easy as a Google search to find what I was looking for, I would have found it myself. I sought help here because I expected that their expertise, resources, and teams of suppliers might be able to assist me in my search. Instead I feel like I bothered the salesman by being there and got no further in my search than when I stepped in. I understand that the world only harbors a finite amount of stone styles, but being told that because one manufacturer doesn't have it...it doesn't exist, is just irritating. I will be looking for another stone supplier.

Worst renovation experience in my lifetime (and there have been several bad ones, especially here in Hawaii). Probably spent around $250,000 to renovate the pool area at my house and they never finished the job. Best I can piece together, after stringing me along for six months waiting for tiles to complete the project that never came, is that the pavers they sold me are no longer available. I must have been sold a "clearance item" without even a clearance price tag (not that I would have chosen to buy closeout products for exactly this reason). My only recourse now, since I cannot get the pavers to complete the project, is to rip the whole damn thing out and start over -- and hope the next contractor is more reputable.

I went in to view some materials for a bathroom renovation project. The general manager, Talia Melara greeted me and informed me that she would get back to me with pricing in the materials I was considering. I exchanged my email and context info with her. After not hearing back for a few days I emailed Talia requesting the pricing quotes it's been over 2 weeks and I have still not received any information on pricing. Poor customer service. Too bad since Marmol does have excellent products.

We started our adventure in Sep and Lei assisted us. She was very nice, then David the owner got involved. He drew all the pieces to figure out amount of granite slabs needed. We had stated that we wanted mitered edges on all edges of waterfall and countertops. We got the quote and needed to think about it, they wanted us to buy then. A couple days later we got another quote which was higher because they said the mitered edging was not included, they had forgot. We agreed to the original price to accomplish what was originally agreed upon, I thought. We paid in full to get the ball rolling. I sent over all dimensions and noted they were all the size of sub counters. Around November we received call from David that they fabricated a side and top for waterfall island, his question was were the measurements including overhangs, they ere for sub counter tops, they were to add on for overhang. The two pieces cut were not going to work as they were cut and I'd now need to purchase another slab. On top of that they had done laminated edging and not mitered. At this point I had no choice but to purchase another slab. I also told him I wanted all cut pieces from first slab. To try and eliminate any further problems I hired my installer come and make a complete set of templates including grain flow. After delays due to machine failure and a few missed delivery dates, my product was finally sent. We received it in mid February. My installer was called and installation began. As pieces were taken off a frame many problems were found. Kitchen sink slab had a crack, overhangs were inconsistent by up to 3/8", the epoxy mitered edges have a distinct yellow color in some places, and most of all a corner piece had the grain going the wrong direction. There was a template that explicitly showed grain direction. Not included in shipment was the first slab miscuts for top of island. We got one side panel and that was all. David had said that all drop off would be delivered to me, this was not the case and we got shorted from what we had purchased, very bad business. We tried to back out one point but in fine print in contract it states no refunds. When I next talked to David he made more excuses blaming the installer for work that he or Gilbert Performed and we did not get more response from anyone at Marmol Hawaii. Poor work and dishonest practice, stay away. This was for our home in Hawaii, not SFO.

I'm not sure what kind of business principles this place operates under but it is extremely deficient in customer service and ethics and has no sense of urgency. In the end they went to Lowe's to replace the missing inventory that was much lower in cost that what I had paid and took at least 3 weeks or more to resolve.

This so called company is horrible!! Please stay away. I had marble counter tops placed by Marmol only to find out that Marmol had not sealed the marble as they had claimed. I am angry beyond words as my marble counter top had stains that cannot be removed. Yes, I understand that marble scratches easy and the staining was not a result of a scratch with stain getting into the marble. The company will not refund or reseal the countertop as Marmol stated that it was sealed. DO NOT GIVE MARMOL ANY BUSINESS!!!

Very dishonest people to working with. Very disappointed. If yelp ever allow zero star i would rate them zero. I am a General Contractor who recommend my client to go to the Marmol store for counter top selection. Later on i got a call from the sales manager Bert saying that the material is running out i have to pay it over the phone in order for them to keep the material for me. I agreed to pay it over the phone in order for them to keep the coutertop for my project for $2,010.00. When i went to the store to pick up the countertop and i got shocked that they showed me 8 sheets of scratched, half sheet, half cracked and cracked glued sheet saying that these are what i purchased. I went straight to the store General Manager demand to have my money refunded he said that these are sold as is. No refund. Showed me the receipt that they just printed when i approach to them without my signature on it which stating sold as is and wanted me to sign on that receipt. I insist to have my refunded then they called police want to remove me from the store and threaten if i come back for refund they would sue me for trespassing property and have me arrested. This is the biggest mistake i made in my business to recommend my client to their store for countertop selection. Biggest mistake ever! Save yourself some hard earned money!

Stay away from marmol! The salesman pressured us to put down a 90 percent payment on the Quartz we selected to secure the order and would store it for us until we were ready for installation. Months later, when we called to start the fabrication, no Quartz. It was a nightmare to try to find out why the Quartz was never ordered...phone calls not returned, got the run around all the time and had to beg to get it installed once the Quartz came in. The customer service and incompetence of marmol delayed our otherwise on schedule kitchen remodeling for another month, not to mention the added stress. No apologies were offerd by the owner of Marmol, he only called to push for the remaining balance once the project was completed! .. The only professional at marmol is the installer/fabricator.

Stay far away from this place!! They just want your money. Once they had my money everything went down hill. Didn't order the product when they said they would. Didn't have an estimated date on next arrival of shipment. Didn't return phone calls. And didn't return my money. Total scam of a place. Bad business. DO NOT EVEN GO TO LOOK AT THEIR PRODUCT. They don't deserve to be in business.

I remodeled my bathroom and went to Marmol to purchase a white Quartz countertop. The salesperson took me outside and showed me a slab Quartz and assured me it was arctic white - couldn't tell because it was very dirty. Trusting his expertise, I bought the piece and paid for the slab and installation. As it turned out my contractor said he'd pick up the piece and do the installation himself. I asked Marmol for a refund on the installation, but they never followed through. I came home to find that the countertop color was wrong. Marmol even acknowledged that it wasn't the color that was written on my receipt but refused to take responsibility because my contractor signed off on the piece when he picked it up. I ended up ripping out the wrong color counter and paying for a whole new slab of Quartz and installation .... for a second time. At the very least they should refund me for the installation which they never did. After months and months of calling and them telling me that it's with accounting, etc. and giving me the run around I filed a complaint with the Hawaii BBB. They haven't responded. There's another complaint filed with the BBB that is similar to mine. Marmol seems to be nice on the onset but I think when something goes wrong, they wash their hands clean and won't resolve the issue, however, they will take your money.

I had my son go and pick up thresholds while I was out of town. When I returned from out of town I found that what he got was 4' long pieces of marble that were not finished and not suitable to be used as a threshold. I went back to Marmol and the sales man that took cash for the marble said I would need to pay and additional $15 ($840) per foot to make them suitable to be a threshold. The sales man was extremely rude and did not treat me as though I was a customer. I believe he took the $700 cash that my son gave him and pocketed it as there was no record in the data base for the sale and he did not have a place to credit the thresholds back to me. I left the store and will NEVER RETURN. I would suggest to everyone out there to stay away from the worst customer experience I have had in my life. I am a president of a very large construction company that understands good customer service. Again, This was the worst experience I have ever had in a retail environment

Excellent choice of materials and world class craftwork. Staff is very knowledgable. Be careful though, while requesting a quote don't mention working with contractor. Employee name Talia will workout the deal with your contractor and you will never find out how much your order did cost you.

I am very disappointed with this company. I thought the salesman understood our needs, but he did not meet our expectations. We were not satisfied and when he tried to make things right we believed him. We should have asked for a refund and went to another business but we wanted to finish the project. It's still not finished and we still are playing phone-tag. This business is very unreliable. They say they are going to things, and then they don't deliver. I will not do business with them ever again.

Working with this business has been absolutely horrible. Their service could not be worse and it's hard for me to understand how they could possibly still be in business. Their showroom is impressive and their inventory is very nice but beware. I purchased material for a large kitchen, the fabricators showed up to pick up the material and were shunned off. When the fabricators called me I went to Marmol to see what was going on and discovered they had accidentally broken all my slabs weeks earlier. They never bothered to call me but rather elected to order new material and hoped it would be in before I noticed. My project was delayed over two months waiting for the replacement slabs which showed up much smaller than those that I bought. I asked for reimbursement for the reduced sq footage since that's how the price was derived but they would not pay me back. After many tense conversations we ultimately agreed on a solution where they would provide inventory for my back splash. Well it's been over four months now and my kitchen still isn't complete because they haven't provided the material. I have called once a week for months trying to put this to an end. The sales rep and owner don't call back. When I do catch the sales rep (he answers the main line) he tells me how busy he's been and will have it for me soon but it never happens and I start all over. It's interesting how nice everyone was before the sale and how absolutely horrible their customer service has been after. I highly caution you in doing business with Marmol. I would have happily spent an additional $1000.00 somewhere else to avoid these delays and lack of service.

Do Not Trust this Buisness. I put a deposit on a granite slab. They told me 4 days later my kitchen couldn't be done with 1 slab granite, and I needed to buy another slab. I went back the next day to cancel my deposit....Marmol refuse to credit me back on my charge card. They told me a check would be sent to me at a later date. I call american express to cancel my original charge. I think Marmol was going to bounce a check on me and keep the charge card money. """Warning to others...Don't buy from them"""""

They installed a bar top that was selected from a 10'x 8' slab, which we bought. We brought in a template and placed it over the desired area and also took photos of it. When we saw the finished product, we realized it was NOT the area we chose because of a large fissure running through it!! They would not respond to phone calls or emails with photos, but till today have literally given us the "brush-off"! The owner is always either unavailable or off-island and has never bothered contacting us! Wow! It's unbelievable that a company with their reputation would treat customers like that! Also, they never gave us our leftover granite, which we were told we would get. I think they took it for some other side job! Prior to this, the fabricator offered to make a coffee table for us for cash , "under-the-table"... This has been nearly 4 months already. I don't think we even want to try to get the bar replaced after all that time..., just give us a refund and move on. SO DISAPPOINTING! The bottom line is that their fabricator MOVED our template area to accommodate the coffee table top and NEVER BOTHERED TO CONSULT WITH US ON THAT! He just took it upon himself to do it and now we are stuck with the bar top "fissure" and the company won't admit to the mistake or try to do anything about it!! SO WHAT if the dude has been let go!! Well, essentially SO HAVE WE!! But we are not about to let this thing go. It's not fair... that everyday we have to look at our bar top and know that we did not order it that way. They also took a completion form with a signature from an unauthorized signer as legit! As far as we are concerned, that completion form is invalid because the person who signed was not authorized to sign ANYTHING.

Bottom line: I will never do business with them again. Lousiest service, and they won't call you back unless you have a decent sized project. What's the first rule, the basic one you tell every salesperson: "Kiss EVERY frog" as you may never know what each opportunity could become. We had a small project for our part-time condo, a backsplash piece to have made. I thought this might be a great way to test drive their service before doing the kitchen and bath flooring. Our third project would have been 3,000 square feet of stone in our main house. After my initial visit and a promise to call me back, they didn't. They blew me off! I called them. I e-mailed them. I received no response. Maybe the guy thought my $40 back splash piece wasn't worth his time. BIG, HUGE mistake. I'm giving all three projects to T Oki instead. They didn't blow me off. My opinion and recommendation is to go to Hawaii Home Expo (FKA T. Oki). Forget Marmol--FOREVER!
