General information about Marble Works

Marble Works has been manufacturing countertops for 33 years! The business is in the top of Chicagoland's manufactures. You can choose any material: from quartz to granite and cultured marble. We advise you to visit its showroom in South Elgin, Illinois.
The business is good at fast delivery and great quality of materials. In the company’s catalog there are as classic countertops as exotic surfaces. The company’s managers know how to deal with clients, who need one or two countertops, and also how to meet needs of customers with large orders.
Marble Works is a real "Single Source" countertops supplier. And it started its specific label line, “Double Eagle” cabinets.

Jim Patano was very professional and helpful! Beautiful showroom with many options!! I am trying to decide on different options for a kitchen and bath remodel and what products will work best. Marbleworks has a lot more than "marble" to offer. I highly recommend this company!

I would like to give some advice to anyone who considers doing any business at Marble Works Elgin Il. DON’T DO IT. My husband & I went to Lowes to purchase a new counter top & sink, Lowes contracts out to Marble Works. Marble Works sent an employee to the home to do an accurate measurement. The faucet that was on our old sink is the same one that we were planning to use with the new sink, I was told by the employee that they had to have accurate measurements on everything so everything would be fine for the new counter top & sink, after all they were doing all of the measuring. When the counter top & sink were installed we were told to wait 24 hrs. before the plumbing could be reinstalled , we did that. When my husband installed the old faucet it touched against the window ledge above the sink, causing it to dig into the wooden window frame, not good. I called Marble Works to talk with someone about this problem, the persons name that I talked with was Beth Zemba. Beth proceeded to tell me that this is not their problem. So I called Lowes, told them the problem , they told me they would call Marble Works & remedy this situation. Lowes called me back & told me the same thing that Marble Works had told me. Lowes gave us a credit to purchase a new faucet that would work for us. Well then there is more trouble, before the installers left , I noticed the one installer cleaning the counter top with vinegar & water, I asked him if this is what I use to clean, he said no, that I could just use hot soapy water, I also noticed very dark almost oily looking spots on the counter, I asked him will these spots go away & he told me yes, as I keep washing the counter top. I took him at his word, as I assumed he knew what he was doing, being the installer & working in this line of work for quite sometime. Well the spots are still there, so we have contacted Marble Works & once again by Beth, she tells me not their problem, then I call Lowes, & they told me they would talk to Marble Works. Lowes called me back & told me the same answer that Beth had told me, NOT THEIR PROBLEM. As of now Lowes has informed me that Lowes no longer deals with Marble Works. This tells me that Marble Works does not stand behind their customers & products. No one can convince me that Lowes dropped Marble Works as a supplier for Lowes just because of our situation, this tells me that there have been other issues with other customers dealing with Marble Works. I also need to say that Beth Zemba needs to find a different job, she is not professional, not good with public relations. I would suggest she find a job in a warehouse.

The representative at the first cube in the show room was less than helpful troubleshooting my issue. They clearly have no interest in working with individuals or small jobs. I would not recommend this place unless you’re a contractor.

Highly recommend Marble Works. They did a great job on the countertops at my office. All of the employees were very professional from the showroom to the installers.

I went here to pick up some samples for a cultured marble shower base our customer wants. Our salesman is very nice This is definitely the place to go if you want cabinets, shower base, shower walls or countertops.

We just worked with Marble Works on our countertop order and installation process and overall, it was a below average experience. Communication was very poor on their end. When they came to measure for installation it felt very rushed and then when it came to installation day, the longer piece of our countertop was not cut incorrectly and they had to redo it. They then came back and installed that piece, but we didn't love how the countertop cuts aligned with the two pieces of quartz. I emailed Ken (installation coordinator) afterwards regarding my concerns and never got a response. It felt like they just wanted their money and didn't care how the end product turned out for the customer. Overall, my husband and I were not impressed and would not return here for countertops in the future.

Dealt with them twice 2002 and 2004 and they were fantastic. Love the product. We have a plumbing leak right now so looks like we need to reorder a panel so hopefully they're still awesome to work with
