The whole experience was great! We purchased a manufactured slab for our clients at Tile Outlet/Two Stone Cabinets (long time friends) and had it sent to Lyons to cut and install. The installer came out to the job site, measured, and made the template. Soon thereafter, they brought the finished and cut slab to the site, installed it, and left the place clean and with instructions on how long to wait for the glue to properly set. (We had them install undercounter sinks.) Everything was done on time and with excellent communication. We will certainly use them again when the need arises.

My encounters with Lyons Marble and Granite in Santa Cruz have been nothing short of infuriating. This company operates with all the finesse of a three-ring circus, where deception reigns supreme and customer satisfaction is nothing but an afterthought. Let's peel back the curtain and expose the charlatans behind this facade: Trish, the sales rep with a chip on her shoulder, exudes an air of entitlement that's as repulsive as it is palpable. Neri, Gina's blood sister conveniently placed in the office, acts as a silent enabler to the company's deceitful practices. And then there's Gina herself, the elusive owner who conveniently disappears whenever accountability comes knocking. Attempting to conduct business with Lyons Marble is akin to navigating a maze of lies and obfuscation. Despite my repeated attempts to communicate my needs, I was met with nothing but indifference and redirection. Trish, Neri, and Gina played their parts with expert precision, passing the blame like a hot potato whenever it suited them. And let's not forget Gina's disappearing act, a performance worthy of Houdini himself. Every time a payment was due or a pressing issue arose, she conveniently vanished into thin air, leaving her underlings to fend for themselves. It's a cowardly act, one that reeks of manipulation and deceit. But what truly sets Lyons Marble apart is their mastery of deception. They excel at playing the victim card, using it to manipulate suppliers and customers alike into submission. It's a despicable tactic, one that speaks volumes about the company's lack of integrity and moral bankruptcy. All I can say is every time I work with these fine people it is perfect and I am extremely picky. I work in the high end field of interiors and installations so I know when I find a gem. After checking four local company’s availability and pricing, Lyons came in at 20% less than the other bids. For both materials costs and installation. The whole experience with the team there was stellar. Starting with the sales team and their communications throughout the process , the demo and installation team (which were polite and conscientious of our home), to the level of trust I had in the fabricator to make sure the cuts in the countertop had a seamless look. Definite 5 star experience.

We have used Lyons for a major kitchen remodel, then a hallway bathroom and finally a master bathroom remodel. All three projects were done in Granite and turned out FABULOUSLY!!! For each project, we found the communication, estimates and installations to be prompt, succinct, courteous and professional. This kitchen material was purchased in San Jose by Lyons did the fabrication. In the two bathroom remodels, we selected the Granite from Lyons and they stored the excess between jobs. Jerry and Gina were great to work with. I was hesitant because of the reviews but the other local fabricators were terrible. Lyons' was so on top of it and had a crew out to template super fast. The fabrication only took a couple days and install followed immediately. Everything was done perfectly and the crew were super friendly and professional. BTW, I'm a contractor and this was NOT my first rodeo, but it was one of, if not the best experience I've had with any sub contractor.

BEST experience! Thought I had a small, easy countertop project, turned out it was rather complicated and tricky. Seeing this, Jerry (owner/operator) immediately took me under his wing and made sure I was able see my vision through and use the gorgeous IceStone I had dreamt about. Trish was always friendly and easy to reach and communicate with. She and Gina are hardworking Angels! Once our plan was in place, the process from measurement to install was quick, efficient and seamless. Fernando is a consummate professional; very knowledgeable, forward-thinking. He and Junior are also very kind and thoughtful. The entire team works very well together. Often it's the little things that expose a company's true character and high morale value. I appreciate that they were diligent by laying drop-cloths from the door, through the house and all around the project, also vacuuming after their work completed. Lyons did a wonderful job with our kitchen counters. They have a great selection and we found a great quartz for our kitchen counters. The Lyon's craftsmanship in fabricating was awesome. They did a fabulous job matching the veins for a beautiful finished look for two separate waterfalls on our island. The backsplash is also a perfect match! The installers were prompt and courteous and fastidious. They did an amazing job fitting everything and making it look perfect! Highly recommend Lyons!!

We only needed a hole drilled in an existing countertop to install an RO faucet. Plumbers weren't very receptive to drilling it. One company wanted to charge us several hundred dollars. We called Lyons and they sent a couple of guys who did it very neat, clean, and fast. They only charged $175. For reference, the drill bit alone costs $100, so we were thrilled to hire them for that price!

We had some really tricky counters that we added and wanted the countertops to match the existing Cambrian tops. Lyons went above and beyond to make what we needed fit and match. I had never used Lyon's before when I stopped by on impulse to look at possibilities for a new vanity I was building. Bottom line, the finished product was amazing. Lyons Marble $ Granite is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. From the time I walked in to their Santa Cruz location, the team at Lyons was exceptional. Trish showed me around the granite they had in stock and when we couldn't find the color I was looking for, she started her search. By the time I arrived home, she had found the perfect granite at a shop in San Jose. She also provided me contact and locations to go look at other dealers, but the one she found was perfect. Ronnie and his team were also awesome. They were extremely professional every time they came out for measurement and installation. The completed process is absolutely stunning. We walked in there looking for a stone for the kitchen walls. We had no idea what we wanted. We started walking around with Ronnie and pretty quickly found a STUNNING quartzite. It was unlike anything we've ever seen and nothing that we had considered before. Ronnie was super helpful, his team was great. We chose that stone and it is incredibly beautiful! The crew out of Lyons is fantastic to work with. From design services to demo and installation, top notch work. I brought in rough dimensions for kitchen counters and within a month, I had a new kitchen! They did a great job demoing my existing granite without causing too much damage to my walls and subtops. Templating was done the same day. One quick measure a week or so later for our newly installed sink, and then an install a week or two later. The crew was courteous, clean, and communicative. Working with Ronnie as the project manager was splendid, what a nice guy and answered all my newbie DIY kitchen renovation questions. Trisha at the front desk was great, so welcoming and kind. I also met the owner, nice guy! The new quartz looks fantastic and now i can't wait to finish my kitchen.

Our contractor (not Lyons) left us with a small unfinished section of our kitchen. We went to Lyons looking for a small 8 x 11" piece of granite to finish the job ourselves. Lyons knew we weren't going to hire them and that we weren't spending much but they were kind and helpful trying to find a small piece to match our sample. Trish found the perfect piece and we were out of there for $30. They were so great just helping a customer in need!! Thank you Trish and Ronnie. We were really happy with the countertop we had installed by Lyons Marble. We had been trying to get a broken countertop replaced since fall. The first company we worked with could not find the right slab, and then one of the big name home improvement stores required us to drive to San Jose to choose the slab, and left a lot of the liability for the work on us as well as raising the price by $500 after we already paid (definitely canceled with them and got our $ back). Gina and Jerry are super friendly and their work team was professional. They got the job from demo to install done in just a little over a week (other places said to expect 3 weeks). We're happy we chose to go local and go with Lyons Marble and Granite.

I chose Lyon's marble and granite mainly because they had the specific granite (Del Mare) that I wanted for my project. I read a mix of reviews on-line, but decided to go with them in hopes they would deliver a quality job on time. They exceeded my expectations on both counts. * Scope of work: Outdoor bar countertops. Approx. 85 sq. feet. * Material availability: Excellent. Stacey expedited my material when deemed necessary within 24 hours. * Communication: Patience was needed on several occasions, but I knew my job was not the only one they had in their work queue. Sometimes, Stacey would communicate with me via text messaging during off hours. This proved to be very helpful for me to be kept up to date with my project status. * Template process: Juan and Rudy showed up right on time and created the necessary templates quickly. They were very professional and took great pride in their work. * Template / slab review: Stacey shared photos with me showing the templates in place on their respective slab. I was able to make adjustments to ensure I was satisfied with the grain and coloration pattern prior to my approval. This demonstrated excellent customer satisfaction prior to cutting the slabs. * Workmanship: I could not be happier with the quality of workmanship that went into cutting, polishing and fitting the seam. I chose a chiseled edge finish to my countertops. I wanted a rugged and manly looking edge treatment. Lyon's delivered big time on this request. I have received numerous favorable comments from family and friends regarding the look of this edge treatment. It looks awesome! * Installation day: Juan and his crew arrived right on time as promised. They installed three heavy slabs on my bar. The seam was perfectly matched. I added a sink in the plan ahead of time with a faucet. Juan cut the holes on-site and paid close attention to detail when it came down to fitting the top-mounted sink just right. * Overall satisfaction: I am extremely pleased with the job performed by Lyon's marble and granite. We had a great experience with Lyon! We kept our original cabinets and farmhouse sink. Lyon was sure to take good care of these during the demolished. We picked our quartz from the many samples they have. The tear down/fabrication/install was quick and easy! Juan headed our project construction along with Stacy at the desk for quotes and any questions along the way. We will most definitely recommend them and also use them again for our bathrooms one day.

We bought a French antique dresser to use as a bathroom cabinet. The top was marble and needed a hole drilled in it. They were excellent, super careful with our 150 year old piece. They even cleaned it, buffed out the scratches and polished it. Plus they were very nice. We couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Lyons

I LOVED working with Lyons. They did an amazing job on the quartz countertops in my kitchen. The office staff were very friendly and the estimate came back very quickly. My phone calls were handled very professionally and my questions were answered promptly. Juan the installer had several great ideas to improve my design. The tear down was accomplished in a few hours and the installation was done in a very short time. I highly recommend them plus they are a local family owned business.

I could not recommend these folks more highly. It is a nice change to work with people who are committed to doing a good job AND having happy customers. They did a great job on our kitchen. I chose Lyons to do the work for these reasons: 1. Local, family run operation - good people. 2. Very strong recommendations (including on Yelp) 3. They were committed to doing whatever possible to meet my compressed schedule 4. They saved me several THOUSAND dollars, compared to competing quotes. They did this by fully understanding the job so that they knew exactly how much material was needed. The other company threw in an extra sheet of granite to cover their backs and assumed that I would simply pay. Gina , Jerry and Audrey were accessible through the process to answer my questions. There was a final touch up that I requested after they had left, and Jerry did not hesitate to get his folks back out asap to make things perfect. The work crew that I met were very nice and professional. They were very respectful of our home. I strongly recommend them.

Our experience was great! I searched for months all over the greater Bay Area for the perfect granite. Found it at Lyons, but they didn't have enough. They continued the search for enough in the same lot to complete our kitchen remodel, and didn't stop until they found the few remaining pieces in Southern California. Jerry, Gina and Stacey are so knowledgeable, I felt very comfortable with my selection before it was even installed. Save yourself a lot of trouble and use another company. Gina, the owner, is your best friend until she gets her claws on your money. After that, if there's a problem, she's "sick" or unavailable or, when you finally reach her, "not my problem!" The granite I purchased from them is beautiful; just use another installer. Lots of issues!

while having beautiful stone work, the three man crew sent to measure and install the stone were like watching the three stooges. one countertop and one backsplash were miss measured and miss cut. the patch job was unsatisfactory. when they brought back the counter, they tore the gate latch halfway off which chipped the countertop. they left gaping holes in my wall, never came back to make the repairs they promised and then demanded the final payment (never paid). the job was definitely promised to take about three weeks and instead was never finished after three months. VERY Disappointed.

I would caution anyone considering Lyons Marble for their countertop purchase and installation. I did not have a positive experience with them. They overcharge and do not address concerns. I could not get them to itemize my bill which was higher than excpected. Even my contractor told me what they charged was high. I felt taken advantage of and do not recommend this company.

We hired Lyons to replace the counter in our kitchen this summer. Despite having measurements from the plumber, the installer put the kitchen sink faucet hole in the wrong location, which required us to accept as is or have an unsightly plug visible on the counter. Also we requested a 1 1/2 inch drop on the counter and received 1 1/8 inch, leaving exposed nail holes from the cabinetry visible. When we tried to complain, the owner Jerry said he would take care of it, but their current staff informed us they would have to charge us over $800 to fix their mistakes. Beware, Lyons required final payment before completion of the job. Taking advantage of senior citizens in the community!

My family purchased over $6000 of granite and left it with this shop per the contractor to cut down and process. The granite went missing, "disappeared," according to the owner and they are claiming to have no record of it even though we have extensive receipts. My family has reached out to this place many times and they keep saying things like they will look for it next week or the owner is not in. Unbelievably shady place
