Alvaro does great work. He is very responsive compared to other fabricators I found. The seams on the countertops look great and is hard to see. He is booked a few weeks out but he is great with his communicating expectations. Pricing is also quite reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a quality fabricator.

Apologies as this review is long overdue. If you are just here wondering if you should use and trust Luxurious Stone, then 10000% yes. Based on my experience, you will not be disappointed. If you want to hear about the overall experience and level of service, then read on... I started off my search by messaging multiple people/companies about countertop fabrication and installation. Some messaged me back, some gave very minimal responses, some places had high prices, some didn't have time for all of my questions. This is the first time I've done any countertop work and I did a lot of research on many different places and scoured the Hayward/San Leandro area and beyond to look at different countertops, designs, etc. Alvaro always responded to all my messages and emails. Every single time. Sometimes my messages would be weeks apart. When I finally made my decision to go with him, it was well over a month from when I first contacted him. He stuck with me all along the way and that left an impression on me, especially in this type of business. I had a few strange questions about different options and configurations of the counters and he was always responsive with open and honest opinions and information. Once I finally picked out my material, he met me at the shop where I purchased the counter to check out the material and he helped me make sure we were getting a good piece that wasn't too warped. All of this helped reassure me that he approved of my selection and that his trained eye could notice things that I wouldn't be able to notice on my own. He picked up the slab with his truck and took it off to fabricate and cut. He showed up a few days later for the install and it was done in no time. Oh, I forgot to mention that he stopped by and did a consultation and looked everything over and provided a ton of really helpful advice and analysis of the job, how he would suggest doing it, what he wouldn't suggest etc. He also brought some samples with him for me to check out and offered a great price on countertops that he already had on hand. The entire experience is everything that you would hope for in a countertop install. I will recommend him to anyone that need any countertop work. The pricing was some of the best I could find, the work was high quality (still looking great and holding up 7 months in) and Alvaro was a pleasure to work with. Thank you very much for everything!

Alvaro is a true master craftsperson, I'm so impressed and happy that I decided to go with him. I originally discovered Luxurious Stone on Yelp, and received quotes from around 7 other stone installers. Not only did Alvaro offer a competitive price, but I could tell his craftsmanship was unmatched. After a quick phone consultation, he recommended me a few other stone options that were less expensive which I appreciated. Despite the other options, I ended up going with CaesarStone. While it was much more expensive, Alvarado did an absolutey perfect template of my kitchen countertops, and the install went flawlessly. He used special grout to fill in the corners, and was able to cut the slabs so there were absolutely no seams. He even created a custom window sill for me that blends the countertops seamlessly with the window. He even gave me tips on how to clean it, and educated me on how to maintain the stone. My contractors were very impressed with his work also, and said they'd use him for future jobs. I'm so happy that this project went flawlessy since a custom countertop is a huge investment. Thank you Luxurious Stone, I love my new San Francisco kitchen!

Alvaro was professional and responsive right from my initial inquiry. I had an odd project where I needed a slab installed directly on the carpet so I could put very heavy items on top (cabinets would have broken so those were out of the question). He was great and very clear answering my questions about the feasibility of the project, what material to use, and the timeline he could do the project in. He gave a great recommendation of where we could find a slab the size we needed (we needed an unusually large slab and he knew exactly where we could go - MSI in Hayward!). He came earlier this week to measure and make a template for the slabs, then came this morning to install with his team. It was quick, easy, and excellent! Him doing preparation with a template to take into account imperfections where we were going to install was excellent and the slabs look beautiful in our space. I highly recommend him!

We used Luxurious Stone to install a quartz countertop on top of new kitchen cabinets. It was a pleasure working with Alvaro on this project. He gave us a. recommendation on where to buy the countertop, picked up the countertop a few weeks before the installation date (while also pointing out some imperfections in the piece over FaceTime), was incredibly responsive throughout, and came on-time and got the job done with high quality on installation day. All of this was done at a fair price for his time and labor. I can't think of anything more to ask for, very happy!

When I needed to find a stone fabricator for my newly purchased quartzite slabs, I turned to reviews to help make a choice. Alvaro was very responsive and professional. He was very clear about the process and his work was outstanding! I went to his shop to review the template layouts and he made suggestions to make the best use of the slabs. His price was a great value compared to a few other fabricators I spoke with. The fabrication was surprisingly fast and the installation in my kitchen was perfect! Alvaro stored my leftover slab remnant until I was ready to find a use for it. About one month later Alvaro fabricated a fireplace surround out of the remnant. He went out of his way to install the stone before my floors were installed. I am pleased to recommend Alvaro and would not hesitate to use him again!

Alvaro was able to cut our granite countertop and portion of cabinet so that it could accommodate our new stove purchase. Not only was he responsive in providing estimates quickly, but his pricing was more than reasonable. This was done through pics and very efficient! Some contractors did not bid because the job was too small. When we were discussing the estimate, he indicated the cabinet may not be as smooth as we'd like, but his work is more than what I expected and I am very impressed! Very honest and reliable. He was very professional and mindful to put on foot coverings to not track dirt and they also placed proper plastic coverings and cleaned up the area very nicely! I will definitely keep him in mind for future work and suggestions to friends and neighbors!

I contacted Alvaro to provide an estimate and he was able to do so with just some pictures/measurements. I like efficiency and this was an efficient estimate. So much better than all the others who need a call to talk through the project + schedule time to come over, etc. I gave him the job + he and his team were able to complete the fabrication of our new countertop ahead of schedule. Alvaro was super helpful. We had an emergency situation where we were trying to get a countertop gas stove installed to replace an old one, and the new stove we bought was too big. Alvaro came the day after we talked to him on the phone to help cut the granite countertop so that the hole would fit the new stove. He did a great job, the stove fits in the hole and looks great, and Alvaro was a pleasure to work with, in what began as a very stressful situation for us realizing that our installer could not install our new stove. I have been wanting to write this review for luxurious stone, I never had the chance to until now. But it was about 1.5 years ago when they have done my counter tops for my kitchen. From picking up the stone we picked out at jerong products to fabricating it and installing it for us. The process was just amazing, the owner Alvaro listened to how I wanted the cut to be above the farmhouse sink, although he was opposed to it as he thought it wasn't a good idea he thought it could crack, but in the end, he did what I wanted. And it is actually still in excellent shape and I'm confident it won't crack. The quality of work was just superb as you can see in the pictures, I'm very very happy with it! So I actually hired them again to fabricate and install the matching countertop for my moveable kitchen island, they did just as amazing! Then I hired him the 3rd time when one of my housemates (my husband) chipped the edge of our countertop. It really bothered me even though it was a tiny chip, but to me it was noticeable so I called Alvaro to see if he can fix it, and indeed, he made it look like it never happened! He is the best!! I will definitely call him again for countertops fabrication/installation in the future.

Alvaro and his crew did an exceptional job. Quartzite is extremely brittle and difficult to work with. Having a very small bathroom and cabinet created additional challenges, especially for the shower. No problem for this man. All work and cleanup done in a very professional manner. First of all, he was so responsive, professional, and communicative from start to finish. Secondly, he was so gracious when we had to reschedule the original template measurement AND when we changed our minds about countertop choice. He was beyond patient! Thirdly, the actual fabrication and installation were impeccable! Better than I could have imagined. He navigated a kitchen island with a farm sink, and an uneven wall in our bathroom. Absolutely outstanding. Alvaro was extremely quick to respond to our initial request for a quote, which was the most reasonable of over four other quotes. He too several hours to do the initial measurements and it is clear that he is extremely meticulous and precise. He got our Cambria quartz slabs very quickly and was ready to install them even before we were! His crew was extremely efficient and they finished our countertop and backsplash as well as fireplace mantle and powder area in a single day! They left the place cleaner then they found it. Absolutely LOVED my experience with Luxurious Stone! Alvaro is amazing to communicate with, responded to all my emails right away, and had great patience with us in the prep process. He picked up a slab for me locally, and I had four slabs shipped to his shop with no problems (two bathrooms, a pantry, fireplace and a giant kitchen). He came out to template the minute we were ready, and installed most of it in just a week! He carried the veining on our quartz through the thick mitered edge so well, we could not be more impressed with the quality of his work. His crew were incredibly professional and friendly, and left our construction site immaculate before they left. He was also the most competitive price in the 4 bids that I got. I had an excellent experience with Luxurious Stone. Alvaro and his team did terrific high-quality work in addition to be really friendly and professional and easy to work with. I purchased a quartzite slab elsewhere and they fabricated kitchen counters, a window sill, and a bistro table for me. They did such a great job that people working on other parts of our remodel commented on the counters and pointed out details that illustrated the quality of their work (like perfect mitered edges that also line up patterns in the stone). I got quotes from several fabricators and their prices were among the lowest. I will definitely call for all future jobs and I would highly recommend them.

From Day 1, before Alvaro was even hired for the job and throughout, he was always responsive, professional, and fair. It's clear he takes a lot of pride in his work and he is very skilled and efficient at what he does. He is also just an overall kind person who genuinely tries to be as helpful as he can. We had an exceptional experience with this company from day one. The day we met Alvaro, he arrived 30 minutes early, took measurements, made some suggestions, and literally picked up our marble THAT DAY. From then on, he was in frequent contact with us, which he always initiated. He figured out an issue with our cabinets that would prevent the marble from going in smoothly, and we were able to fix it before installation. As a result, we have absolutely no seams in the marble! He also offerred to pick our sink up for us so that we could get it faster, and checked with us and the store daily for its arrival. Even offerred to go pick it up at FedEx! He measured the sink position again and again to make sure the sink we chose would work and also found a way to make the marble stronger around the sink by cutting it slightly differently. Made sure there was enough room for the faucet handle, etc. well in advance. When the plumber installed the faucet, he said that the holes they made were absolutely perfect. Alvaro is punctual, professional, responsive, and does a beautiful job. Can't recommend him enough.

I had purchased the countertop separately on my own to match the existing countertops in the kitchen, but he had no problem going with me to pick it up from the other seller. Amazing detail to finishing touches by Alvaro. His work was flawless he though we have had a few curve balls. We even had one custom sink with countersunk fixture that came out better than expected. Alvaro is the best honest/reliable person to work with when it comes to countertop fabrication and installation. I had four of my bathrooms (five sinks) done and he took time out of his schedule to show me and my wife a nice selection of pre-fabricated slabs that are already edged @ a store. The quality of these slabs are excellent and they have the look of Calcutta marble. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the end result/quality and it took him 2.5 days to get it all completed. If you are looking to remodel, call up Alvaro first before you hire a GC person. You have to do some tiny amount of work on the plumbing part but he will guide you to the right people and save you $$$ on your project.

My review is not about the job done by Luxurious, because they never did. The fact that he cancelled the jobs last min when we were ready for the installation. We communicated for months and got a quote, but almost the time to come on-site for measurements, he decided not to take the job. He recommended his friend that wanted to charge twice as much. I struggled to find another fabricator but was lucky to do so at cheaper price and perfect job done. So, make sure you sign a contract with this company if you decide to hire them.
