LSC had a great selection for our kitchen remodel. The sales person, Irma, was such a delight to work with. Very knowledgeable and friendly with great customer service. I have recommended Louisiana Stone Center to all of my family and friends.

So I come to this review writing it as a contractor. I was contacted by a lady named chentel who calls herself the granite girl.. she approached me and asked if I could put together systems to light up granite with you know LEDs and controllers and whatnot and I said sure sure I can do that so we went through one job but together and she wants to run the whole thing and you know all the materials and and be around and all that when I'm doing it okay whatever. But sometimes you get the feeling people are asking too many questions and there's an ulterior motive. So anyway next job comes along it's a pretty big job a chance to make a good chunk of change and I'm told to go out there and measure out the cabinets and come up with a good estimate so you know spent 6 hours driving back and forth to Morgan City to throw up these dimensions I get home start doing my engineering work you know cuz I have to figure out wattages and with my power supplies can handle and how many different controllers on each run and when to add in amplifiers for signal quality and what not wiring as well. Acrylic spacers to be cut ect.. . And she tells me to send her a list of all this so we can have a you know real quote a good quote and then promptly after getting all the materials she needs to get and kind of figuring out maybe how it's done or she thinks so anyway she tells me oh well I'll find someone else to do to do that Don't worry I don't need you anymor so basically she you know just a shady terrible human being an business owner . I suppose that when I say business owner I'm stretching that word very very very thin because all it was was, was that she pretended to own Louisiana stone and granite when it's some people from Houston did and when they found out the shady dealing she was doing they kicked her out and called the cops.. so needless to say not here just to hate I'm here for the people that might be saved in the future from dealing with such a person and getting screwed as I did so just look out because you never know who's wearing that sheep clothing..

I love the way this store is set up. its so much easier to view slabs than some of the others. All matching slabs are bundled together with no overlaps of different materials or slabs facing the wrong way that need to be moved in order to view them. Also many the slabs in stock are "Book-matches" quality meaning that they mirror each other and that's impressive did not see slabs displayed like that anywhere else. I know as a fact that book-matching slabs are more expensive but when I compared theirs were the same as the coemptions regular slabs in my case. This is something worth looking in to. I truly think you will have a great experience at Louisiana Stone Center, take it from me someone in the industry!

We decided that our Christmas present to ourselves was a new kitchen countertop. We were told to check out Louisiana Stone Center and we are very happy we did. Chantel and her team had the perfect granite slab, the pricing was reasonable and fair. The best part was we had a completed project within 2 weeks of our first visit. Oscar (the installer) and his team were top notch, professionial and clean. The seams are seamless. We are very happy with the entire project and happy that we found Louisiana Stone Center.
