We’re in love with our new downstairs and bedroom flooring, and new stone kitchen counter and backsplash. Their attentive and skilled crew were great (thank y’all so much!) and always super considerate. We went with Lone Star Floors not only for their pricing and professionalism, but also because we instantly knew that they’re more knowledgeable than any of the other places we talked to. I don’t usually write reviews, but when a business goes the extra mile to perform flawless work like Lone Star Floors did for us, they earned my praise. It’s refreshing to finally find a dependable company and getting top-line work at the best price. No gimmicks, just real quality installation and people. Did engineered wood floors, carpet, backsplashes, and replacement of a door frame and door. Communication was excellent. Always punctual. Friendly. As is often the case with home renovation, small issues do arise during the process. When any issues arose, they responded immediately, and rectified the issue very quickly without any pushback. When they say they are going to do something, they do it, and I appreciated that greatly. The end result looks excellent, and that’s what counts.

Visited yesterday for the first time to shop for lighting. It was early afternoon, and there were no other customers in the store. When I entered, there were two people sitting behind the counter. Neither of them ever approached me to offer assistance. After about five minutes of looking around, it was apparent that no one intended get out of their chairs to assist me, so I left the store to take my business elsewhere. Will never return.

Lone Star Floors just completed renovation of my kitchen countertop and backsplash, entire master bathroom and replaced all floors except the kitchen. I was nervous going into this project since I've had work done before and it did not go well, however Lone Star Floors was amazing! Terry was my first contact and I immediately felt comfortable. He came by a few times to look at the work, and there was also an operations manager who came by most days just to check in, take a look at the work, and make sure things were running smoothly. Before the project began, Terry called and gave me several dates and times contractors would arrive at my home and what work they would be doing. He continued to keep me updated all along the way. Every contractor who came to work on my home was as punctual as possible, worked crazy hard all day long, and every single bit of work they did was done perfectly. They even cleaned up at the end of each day. Everyone single person was kind and considerate, which was very important to me. There is absolutely no way I could be any happier with how this all went, and how well the work was done. I had decided with this renovation I was going to get the best workmanship and product, and that is exactly what I got. I recommend you go to Lone Star Floors Sugar Land first if you're considering renovating. You will not need to look any further because here you will get the best!

My wife and I were very IMPRESSED with the sales and installation experience at Lone Star Flooring. We replaced all our downstairs and upstairs floor including the stairs. Lone Star Floors and Lighting did a master bath remodel for us in December 2024, and we were thrilled with how it turned out. Zee did a great job helping us figure out the best options for shower and bath, advising on materials, lighting and mirrors. The crew that came in to do the demo were excellent, all very nice, cleaned up everything, not leaving any mess behind. The painting crew and the crew who installed the tile, flooring shower were all super friendly, respectful and professional. The plumber and electrician also could not have been nicer, and they provided quality work and also cleaned up everything upon completion. We are very happy and satisfied with the job Lone Star did on the remodel for us and they completed the project on time! I would highly recommend them for a bathroom remodel, they made it a smooth and easy process.

what makes a great restaurant is one as you go back over and over again that’s the way I feel about long star floor and lighting. I wanted to change the flooring upstairs in my house and I was concerned with the timing and Terry and his staff at Lone Star Floors made the process very smooth and they did a great job. They did such a great time and in three days cleaned up every day as they were going. I decided to do the upstairs bathroom to change a tub to a stand up shower and then that led to doing the master bathroom and I cannot tell you how thankful for the great that the job that they did it was actually fantastic. I highly recommend this company, certain things I like about Lone Star Floors is you know exactly what’s gonna be done that day. They keep you updated on what’s gonna happen who’s coming to your house , every day the house was left in a presentable way. They always got rid of the trash they clean every day. I was very satisfied with the price because i got a second bid for the same work lone Star was thousands of dollars cheaper and did such a great job i can’t happier, It’s nice to be able to go one place and my wife picked everything in one location. My house is an investment and i decided i’ll get better than the bank. Terry thanks for your help and i will be using Lone Star again.

Placed an order for wood for my son's room a month ago. Lone Star Floors said I would need a 5 gallon pail of glue (approximately $120.00) My workers advised against using glue because if a part of the floor needed to be replaced, then it would ALL have to come out! I called today to advise that I would be bringing the UNOPENED pail of glue back and SAM said they CANNOT take those kinds of things back. You're better off going somewhere else like Floor & Decor, where they are more reasonable and customer friendly! DON'T SHOP HERE!!!!!!!

I want to thank Terry Mansour at the Sugar Land office for his quick offer to help us. Our dog had a massive accident on one of our bedroom's carpet and I was panicked. I called Terry who suggested I come by his office so that we could choose a carpet to match the other carpet in the rest of the house. Note that he DID NOT press me to let him give me a quote for the rest of the house - I had told him going in that our carpet was relatively new. I went to his office on Good Friday, happily surprised and relieved that they were open. Terry explained to me that the factory he had to get the carpet from would not be open until Monday (today), but he offered to come to the house for measurements on Saturday. By Monday morning, he gave me an extremely fair quote, and a fair amount of time for him to get the job done. Good for us, but not good for Terry, is that we were able to get the stains out of the carpet and deodorized it. So we cannot say that we had a job done by Lone Star Floors, however, if you want an honest and knowledgeable person to help you, this is a great place to go. When we had our house built 17 years ago, we decided to go with Lone Star Floors instead of the builder's grade floors. We had much better selections and it was less expensive than the builder's cost. So we just had the builder put the cheapest carpet and the day we moved in, Lone Star Floors installed beautiful wood floors in our formal living and dining rooms. Throughout the years, they've been replacing our floors in every room. Recently, they replaced all our carpet on the entire second floor. They always have the best prices, offer many great selections and use expert professional installers.

HIGHLY recommend this amazing team of professionals. They went above and beyond at every turn. Not only was the work impeccable, and absolutely gorgeous, the crew was so respectful and professional, I felt completely at ease and comfortable with having them work both when I was home alone as well as giving them full access to my house when nobody was home. The workmanship is beautiful, the materials and products are top quality, and the pricing was unbelievable. They shared much needed guidance and education on all my options and never pressured, but gently and kindly provided direction and experience, allowing me the time and space to come to my own decisions. I would give them a 15 star rating if I could, they completely earned and deserve it!! The manager who was initially overseeing everything had a stroke, but was still available and texting me and coordinating the work days after being released from the hospital. Highly recommend Lone Star floors I called to see if they could come to my house n give an estimate for 2 bedroom s and Terry was very punctual to the appointment he measured n took pictures of the current floors to kind of match it I was surprised when he called n said he found a very similar color with that being said the process was very smooth order the floors a week later installed floors !!! I highly recommend Lone Star Floors. Great service, price and products. My wife and I were shopping for new floors and Lone Star Floors gave us the guidance we needed to make the right decision. When you are spending that much, you really want someone who will take the time to help you understand what you are buying and why. The owner even showed up on Saturday early to help us with an order. Please know that his shop is not the biggest and isn't super easy to find but once inside the displays are well lit and arranged in an easy to navigate system. Compare them to some of the other stores we tried and Lone Stare Floors really shines.

I have used Lone Star Floors four times now. My installs have all been carpet. They often have great deals on close out or special lots of carpet and tile. I usually pick up on these deals. Sam usually does the measurement and always explains what they would do and why. They don't just try to up sell sell you but instead first try to find out what you need and make appropriate recommendations to stay in the price range you want to keep within. Honest, up-front and reasonable guys....Ziad, Mohammed, etc. I have not used them on every flooring or countertop job, but can give then a strong recommendation on the price and quality of work that they have done for me.

The people and service at Lone Star Floors are really excellent. Over the last 1.5 years, we have had multiple rooms renovated and upgraded including our kitchen, floors, fireplace and bathrooms. Ziad (owner) is really wonderful and courteous. He has many great design suggestions and is very knowledgeable about what it will take to get the job done as he is also overseeing the work or actually performing the work. If we ever had any questions or issues, he immediately was available and came to the house to make sure the issue was quickly resolved. I would encourage anyone with a home improvement need to try Lone Star Floors as we have had a nothing but a positive and pleasant experience with them.

I really enjoyed working with Lone Star Floors. We found them online and they had 130 five star reviews so we definitely had to try them out. When we showed up to Lone Star flooring we were greeted by people who were not trying to sell us anything but who were more interested in educating us about the type of wood we would want. Sam explained the pros and cons in glueing versus floating the wood floor. He showed us wood which was in our price range of 3-5 dollars, and he also showed us wood which was on sale. The LM Red Oak wood we chose was a very high quality wood for a very cheap price. I really appreciated that. It seems like they always have a couple different woods on sale each week. We lived in Telfair in Sugar Land, and Sam came out to take measurement for how much wood we would need to have installed. Sam even brought the different woods we were interested in to our home so we could lay them down on the carpet and see how they looked with the rest of the home. He came back said we had about 800 square foot of wood to be installed. He gave us a price within a few hours of showing up. He quoted us about $5,300 dollars which was the cost of the wood, glue, moulding, quarter rounds, and labor. This did not include the cost of leveling. We needed 21 bags of leveling (liquid cement) because our foundation was so bad. Just to make sure we were not being ripped off I looked at the price of a bag of leveling online, and it cost $30. Sam charged us $40 for each bag of leveling which is so cheap, and 10 dollars for the labor really does not do them justice. We had to spend an additional $840 in leveling. We were ok with this because every other place we priced in sugar land as well as the private contractors we priced all quoted us over $6200 to install the hard wood floor not including leveling for around 690 square feet. Sam beat all these other guys and also gave us a $4.49 hard wood for $2.99. Our total price to install 800 squre feet of hard wood in our home was around $6,150. Lone Star Flooring came out to install wood floors on a friday morning, and they were done by Sunday night. If they did not have to use so much leveling they would have been done in 1 1/2 days. They also worked with Home Depot by laying cardboard down on the wood floor so we could have our appliances (refrigerator, washer, dryer, and microwave) delivered and installed Saturday afternoon. Sam made a recommendation for the direction to lay the wood floor as well, and it turned out perfect! He also said if there was anything we were not happy with after the wood installation that his guys would fix it. We pointed out a few things and the workers fixed everything to our satisfaction. They also did a good job at cleaning up most of the location too. Lone Star Flooring stands behind their workmanship quality with a 1 year guarantee. All the woods they use are first quality woods not second quality. This ensures the manufacturer stands behind the wood with the 25 warranty in case something happens. They also gave us a $30 wood and laminate cleaning kit so we could polish and clean the wood for free. This was unexpected because we were not told about this up front. They gave it to me when I came back to the store to pay them the rest of the money for the wood flooring installation. I viewed it as good customer service! :) The only thing I can ding Lone Star floors is they should clean up the saw dust and liquid cement powder a little better from the garage. This is only minor because I was able to take care of it within a couple of minutes. There was also left over pieces of hardened leveling dumped on the side of my house instead of thrown in the trash which I had to do myself. Aside from these minor things the craftmanship is what is most important in my eyes in which they exceeded my expectations. Thanks, Robert Altmiller

They came out the first day to remove the old carpet, and level the three floors. I had to lend them my shop vac to clean up to reduce dusting since they forgot theirs. Second day they installed the flooring. The quality of the install was very good but they did not clean up the glue tracked all over. Maybe because they finished very late, I expected them to come back the next day to clean-up. They did not come back. I had to call Sam at LSF and complain that they did not clean up the glue. The arrived on the 4th day to clean-up. It was inadequate. I ended up doing it myself over the next two days while putting the furniture back into the room.

Called and asked some questions about some work I needed done. Came in person the next day and the owner? recognized my voice. Very friendly, very informative. Knew where I lived. Asked him to send me an estimate in the mail. He assured me it would be in the mail the next day. Been 2 weeks, no estimate. I would have called and asked what happened, but something makes me wary.

My compliant involves the tile installed in my home on 06Jun20. I have a cracked tile (1), when a laser art picture in a cheap frame with a glass cover, fell off the wall, about 5 feet (see pictures.) The tile is Ambiance 12x24 and appears to be a defective tile. It does not have the durability of porcelain tile. It is fragile and could break if someone dropped a mug or glass while standing up. I emailed Lone Star Flooring on 12Jul20 to replace the broken tile (1). Lone Star Flooring requires $125.00 for the labor alone.

I called to get to get an estimate. The guy states I need to come and pick a color. I responded, I would need to know if they could do the work. He said they could and told me there was no fee to come to my home. I asked if he could come on Tuesday since I had other companies coming to give estimates. He asked if I was having other companies provide an estimate and I responded, "Yes." He then responded, "Then that will be a $50 charge to come to your house." I laughed. He asked if I agreed and I responded amidst laughter, "Of course not." I am grateful I saw the company for who they were. No thank you and moving on. Don't spend your money here. The price changes if you don't agree to guarantee them the work. I'll post pictures and a review of the work of the other company once they are done.

If I could give this 0 Star, I would love to. They have a good selection of flooring.... However, we were supposed to have a person come out to our house for measurements... Gave them directions on how to get there. And, no one showed. There wasn't any communication as what happened or why they didn't show up. Another thing, no one would come and speak for us for about 20 minutes of us being there. It wasn't busy, so there was no excuse it. It was such a bad customer experience.... and, because of that, I'm not coming back and I don't recommend this place.

Sam, the manager, came out to give an estimate on replacing kitchen countertops and backsplash. He came out, we picked the stone we liked, he measured and said he would have a quote to us that day or the next business day at the latest. 3 business days late, still no quote so I sent him a message. It's now been 16 days and no response. What a waste of time!

Terrible customer service. Three Middle Eastern men working at the Sugar Land store on Highway 6 who apparently don't know anything about customer service. I asked for subway tile, and one of them pointed to the back wall. When I couldn't find it, he finally got out of his chair, but he couldn't find the tile either. He looked through about 20 boards, when I finally found what I was looking for. Also, he quoted me $86 per box, and I found it somewhere else for$58.63 per box,
