Jorge and his team installed beautiful granite countertops in our newly remodeled kitchen and laundry room that have received many compliments even from people in the industry. Alex and his team did a great job installing countertops for my home. He was easy to talk to. He listened to everything I wanted and gave a very good quote. One of his workers came over on the first day scheduled to take laser measurements and walked me through the whole process to makes sure I was on board with everything. It was a lot of questions to make sure he didn’t skip anything. Very thorough work. After it was done, we scheduled the install date and his team came over along with himself. They put towels down to not track dirt in the house, cleaned up all the edges from caulking the countertops, cleaned off the countertops of any dirt or fingerprint marks, and walked me through what they were doing along the way. I can’t vouch for Alex and his team enough. Thank you!

Jorge, Liz and crew made our countertop replacement stress free. But more importantly, the end product reflected their attention to detail and expertise they displayed throughout the project. The veins in the granite continue through to the next piece of granite, waterfall and backsplash. Each piece fit perfectly in the designated area with the corners and seams precisely fitted. Lion Stoneworks was excellent from the first email to the last touches on the install. I exchanged over 40 emails with Liz and she provided a ton of great information that helped up decide on our new quartz countertops (and she was incredibly responsive!). Jorge and the install team arrived early and did a great job with the countertop and sink installation. Pricing was competitive and I would not hesitate to work with them on another project!

We had a small project--taking out a wet bar and putting in a counter top without the sink hole. Every company we talked to had square foot minimums much larger than our little counter. Mike and Jorge do big projects but also have a great selection of remnants that they let us select from for our former wet bar. They cut the piece when they said they would, installed it when they said they would, and the finished project looks great. Definitely recommend them.

I had my heart set on "Patagonia" granite for my counters, which is high-contrast, highly featured (read: naturally fissured & fragile) and difficult to work with. Given the wildly varied nature of the stone, I had concerns about getting the visual balance right in my kitchen and wanted to make sure the layout didn't look disjointed. Jorge worked with me to select which pieces of the slab went where, got me a huge discount from the distributor when we unexpectedly needed more material and was super patient with making adjustments even after installation. When I insisted on swapping out a section of my peninsula that had already been bonded to another piece, Jorge heard me out. He warned me about the potential for fracturing (which could compromise the clean appearance of the new seam), got out his blow torch (!!) and made the change with minimal damage. He also performed a nuanced, color-matching patch job where the delicate stone had splintered. It looks spectacular, y'all. I'm thrilled. We hit frustrations and setbacks like most renovation projects, but Jorge remained communicative and respectful of my needs as a client in a stressful, high maintenance scenario and followed through until I was completely happy. Love my Patagucci countertops.

We worked with Jorge, the owner of Lion Stone Works, to install countertops in our kitchen in the Fall of 2018, and it was a pleasure. Jorge is a true professional: he knows his stuff, he responds to phone calls and emails quickly, he has good sources for quartz, and he does a great job. I had a few details I was focused on getting right, especially the flush reveal for an undermount sink. He listened and understood how important that was to me, and he worked with his guys to make sure it was done well. I'm also persnickety about caulking, and he did a fantastic, precise caulking job! On this kitchen, did something different from a typical install - we put Schluter where the countertop meets the drywall - and after looking at the pros and cons, Jorge was game to make it work. Unfortunately, we had a great first experience and very poor second experience that has prompted my sharing. Jorge did our kitchen and it turned out great, but when it came to our wet bar in the basement, we ended up with the wrong material and no resolution. Our basement bar is small, so I spent time looking at remnants and other companies, but my goal was to match the same material as upstairs to keep a consistent design in the house. Not having luck finding a remnant, I got a quote from LSW for a full slab since I figured if anyone could get me an exact match, it would be the company that installed the kitchen. Their quote was hundreds more than other local companies but Mike assured me it was due to quality. Our project was pushed a couple times without communication, I had to continually reach out to get updates. Once it finally went in, I immediately realized it wasn't the same pattern. Mike called me after the fact and let me know that they are a 3 person operation that doesn't keep track of materials used in previous installs and despite what I had made clear during the templating about matching, they took the name I referenced (which was in their original invoice for the kitchen!!) and didn't check that it was correct. That i should have paid for a design consultation if i wanted it to match and wasn't sure about the name (Again, referenced their original invoice). Absolutely no accountability, all excuses for why this was my fault and not theirs and then a threat that if I didn't pay, they'd put a lien on my house. I'm so disappointed in the customer service and issue resolution, especially because Jorge does do good work and the fabrication is truly good. I feel like i got every excuse in the book and really poor options to resolve my dissatisfaction including having to pay for tear out, hope the slab got sold for a fraction, and then pay them again for a new install. I hope this causes them to evaluate their record keeping, confirm materials with clients before install (pictures!), work on project communication, and issue resolution. Letting these issues trickle down to client experience isn't fair to customers.

We had Lion Stoneworks remodel our bathroom. He talked us into hanging solid slabs (no grout) in our master shower but never told us he had no idea how to do this. Jorge is good with counters but a shower was a different story. Within a few days the shower started leaking all over our new wood floors. We reached out to Jorge so that he could help remove the shower and identify the problem. He got very defensive and was unprofessional like Maria previously stated and so did Christine K. Jorge was a no call no show when it came to standing behind his work. We had holes cuts to validate that is wasn't plumbing and we had a professional company come out to remove the shower and explain what happened. It was clear once it was removed that it was installed incorrectly. It was so disappointing because all we asked Jorge to do was the "right thing" and stand behind his work. They have me one quote, then after the job was started, they say that they miscalculated and were 2 slabs short. They hit me with a $2700 'materials' bill after the job was already half finished, and I had no choice. When I asked for receipts to prove that was the true additional cost, I got an unprofessional and angry phone call from the owner, who is said I should just trust him. Do yourself a favor, avoid this company.
