I cannot say enough good things about our recent project with Zothex. We had all new LVP flooring done in our 2,000 sq ft home, a wall taken down, new door casings installed and some small pop outs and wall speakers removed. They completed the entire project in 2.5 weeks! Our project manager Jon was GREAT, he was so responsive and followed through on everything that was quoted/promised. I am so happy with the quality of work and highly recommend this company!

This company scammed my parents and is a nightmare example of a completely mismanaged business. After receiving the money, they completely failed to render any services. The project manager, Kevin, refused to respond. Multiple managers and contacts at Zothex gave them the runaround making promises of resolving the issue or refunding, but to no avail. Bear in mind the contract with Zothex was signed all the way in September! It is now November, and my parents are completely anxious and upset at this absolute betrayal of trust. It is inconceivable that a company and its employees can treat a customer in this way. They have been worse than uncommunicative— they have been completely immoral and dishonest. We have made several attempts even today to contact anyone at Zothex. Writing this review in a public space is yet another way we are pleading for any sort of recourse. To Zothex Flooring and its owner, please respond and resolve this gross transgression immediately.

Unfortunately as others have said the lack of communication is unreal. We had an appointment September 12 for an estimate, when no one showed I called the office. Kevin answered and was able to make his way out that morning (which I very much appreciated). It seemed the blame was placed on an employee no longer with the company, which I found odd as we made the appointment in person with Daniel. Kevin said we should hear back by the following Tuesday. No word after two full weeks so I called the office again and I didn't catch the gals name but she said I would hear back from someone shortly. I let a couple days go by and yet again called the office, I believe this gals name was Alma and when I said I was waiting to hear back she mentioned seeing a note up already and someone will get back to me shortly and abruptly hung up. This process has been unbelievable. Today being October 6 and never hearing back from anyone.

The technicians who installed the floor were fast, clean and the installation looked good. That’s about as far as the good stuff goes, and it earned one star. The flooring has some shortcomings: one tech advised against rolling a dolly across the floor as it might make an impression on the floor and not in a good way. Another advised against using soap and water to clean the floor, using a company-provided cleaning solution instead. That technician also advised against walking on the surface in street shoes. The cleaner is available at various outlets for about $20.00 per gallon. This reviewer specifically asked that the country of origin not be a manufacturing colossus a few thousand miles west of this location; a box left behind by the installation crew is clearly marked, “Made in ________.” Either the sales representative was ignorant of the facts, or he lied. The flooring planks are some sort of laminated or composite or engineered material and a shortcoming of that material became apparent when some water seeped under a door during a recent deluge of rain. The planks soaked up the water, showing a stain creeping along the edges similar to what a wick would look like. A close examination of a cross section of the planks revealed a porous structure of thin sheets pressed together with gaps here and there, a perfect setup for the plank to function as a wick in the presence of liquid. Bottom line, this reviewer is stuck with a floor that looks good but that cannot be used due to the delicacy of the finish coating and the less-than-solid structure under the surface. The most discouraging aspect of the situation is that this might be what passes for adequate quality in the flooring industry. This reviewer regrets not having done better homework. Had this writer known about the above-mentioned problems, the purchase and installation would have been different. Update after response: Please state your definition of "fake review" and how the above review matches that definition. Thank you.

We started working with Zothex Flooring for the first time this last August, and we are blown away by their communication, selection, quality, and workmanship. Jorge our project manager went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of with our flooring needs. On our second project we were able to work with Clayton and Rosalyn on not only on our floors, but cabinets and counter tops. WOW the customer service and quality was above the rest. Being a local family owned business owner myself, I was so blessed to have found another family owned business to work side by side with. We just started our 3rd project with them and we look forward to many more with Zothex Flooring!

Super awesome staff and overall a great experience to see how the process of the engineered floors gets done. Brian was amazing and answered every questions and concerns that we had. Zothex will be highly recommended to our family and friends. Thank you for the quick turn around, finishing the floors in time for us to move in to our brand new home and enjoy it. A big THANK YOU again to the Zothex staff...

Zothex hit the jackpot bringing Alma onto their team! She is a great listener and makes selecting samples for my clients easy. Her service-oriented nature and quick response time is so appreciated. Zothex will be getting all my remodel flooring business going forward as I know Alma keeps her eye on all the details of my orders.
