I’m so blown away at the attention to detail Thomas of Kraftician Design and their fabricator Jose showed in our kitchen and bar remodel project. Not only do they do amazing work they are easy to work with! Thomas kept us up to date throughout the whole process and worked with us on planing out where our slabs would be used so everything would be perfect. Their fabricator went above and beyond our expectations. The quartz material we chose, Ethereal Noctis by Silestone, is a repeating pattern on all 4 slabs we needed for island, waterfall, counters and full wall backsplash. Thomas and his fabricator planned it so each section used looked unique and they lined up the veins so they seemed almost like they flowed seamlessly. Working with Kraftician Design was the only stress free part of our very stressful remodel and we are so grateful for that reprieve. I would highly recommend them for any of your remodel needs and look forward to working with them again in the future.

We literally cannot say enough good things about Tom and Tara and our choice to use Kraftician Design Surfaces in Livermore, as our one-stop-shop for design services, flooring, countertops and backsplash. They are absolutely amazing to work with! It started when we "popped" into Kraftician one day without an appointment and were graciously greeted by Tom. His product knowledge, product quality and warm demeaner led us to know exactly who we wanted to work with. As we didn't know where to start, both Tom and Tara worked tirelessly to help us build our vision. From offering suggestions and a multitude of design ideas, Tara often ran samples over to our house to see how they looked in our own lighting and surroundings. We settled on 2,700 sq ft of wide plank white oak hardwood flooring, quartzite countertops and a beautiful Spanish subway tile backsplash. Their patience, comfort, reassurance and attention to detail is unmatched. As an example, they scoured the bay to find extra-long quartzite slabs that would fit our back bar so we didn't have any seems, and Tara suggested a beautiful black granite slab for our fireplace hearth and we absolutely love it! Tom worked with us to map out each section of the quartzite counters to ensure the veining matched, and our favorite parts of the slabs were used in all the right places. Jose (fabricator) and his team were equally amazing and perfectionists. It showed! As Tom has been in the business for decades, he was also a wealth of information and was able to recommend other professionals as we needed them (plumber as an example). Everyone they recommended, were just perfect to work with. Because of this, our project went without a hitch - and we love the result and are forever grateful! If anyone is in the market for a home redesign or face lift, we cannot recommend Kraftician Design Surfaces enough. The quality and personal touch you get from using a local small business is priceless. You will go from strangers to friends! We can't wait to work with them again.

I had the opportunity to work with Tom and Terra for selection of counter tops, they walked me through all the options for stone types available and really took a personal effort to make sure the job is done professionally. They visited the work area and gave me their personal and professional opinion which really made a huge difference in the final results. I couldn't be more happier with the outcome these guys delivered, despite the timrline setbacks I had in my schedule for getting everything done with the cabinets prep, they worked with me on a very timely manner and delivered a top notch results. I purchased a granite slab for a kitchen remodel and floor tile for a bathroom remodel on two separate occasions. I had great experiences for both visits. Tom & Tara did a great job in listening to what my wife and I believed we were looking for design-wise. They then helped guide us through many different options to help achieve our design. I also appreciated that they suggested other material options that we had not known were available to even consider. Thank you again!

I recently completed a full kitchen remodel and couldn't be more pleased with everyone that I encountered at Kraftician along the way. Tom was very helpful, communicative, and patient, and Jose did an amazing job on the fabrication! We experienced many delays in our project (due to water damage and termites) and every time that I reached out to Tom to let him know that my timeline had shifted, he was very understanding and assured me that it was completely normal and that he would be ready whenever we were. He was true to his word and when we were finally able to proceed, he and Jose worked very hard to figure out how to fabricate my 2 slabs in such a manner that I could also use it for my backsplash (per my request) in a manner that was pleasing to the eye - which was no small feat. Our overall project was not without it's struggles, but working with Tom, Terra, and Jose on our countertops was one of the easiest and stress free parts. It's clear they care about their craft and customers and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
