The entire process from initial sales meeting thru the design and drafting process and installation was pleasant and professional. Timing of events was as predicted. Initial design occurred within a week of order placement. The doors and drawers were manufactured within the one month window originally quoted with installation following as soon as schedules allowed. Installation, quoted as five days or site on site, proceeded smoothly with competent craftsmen performing to the standards expected. The kitchen was closed off from the rest of the house to minimize dust and dirt migration. The work area was cleaned at the end of each day so the kitchen was serviceable as much as possible. Quality and workmanship was high end and the end product exceeded expectations with a minimal punch list that was handled expeditiously. Overall, a very high class, professional company that delivers what it promises. After enjoying our new kitchen for almost a year, the materials are beautiful and easy to maintain. A minor shortcoming is the soft close on the doors. Supposedly, standard design at Kitchen Magic is to install one soft close hinge per door. Others install two soft close per door as once was Kitchen Magic's standard as well. The doors lack the pure soft close action expected. They are dampened as desired but not to the extent we see with other new kitchen installations. I would recommend requesting design include two soft close hinges per each door.

Before /Left + After /right I was pleasantly surprised with Kitchen Magic ,a well coordinated company that walks you through step-by-step. Listen kitchens are expensive so we won’t go there, reasonably $$$$ , it was well worth it if you’re willing to make that commitment. They are skilled craftsmen and Completed the project in a very timely manner. . You get to design your own kitchen.

I personally would not recommend kitchen magic to anyone. The process has been horribly frustrating, the communication is awful, and the final outcome of our cabinets is crap. We had our cabinets completed in September with mistakes. It's now January, and nothing has been fixed. We've had four different service appointments with people coming over to take pictures. They are here for about 5 minutes and then leave with promises that it will be taken care of. As I've said the communication is awful, I've left voicemails, emails, and nobody returns my calls or emails. Honestly, it's extremely disappointing and a shame to spend this much on a kitchen for garbage work. I will never be recommending them to anyone. I'll even attach photos to show the poor cutting job they did in between the cabinets.

Kitchen Magic, you've done it again! Thirteen years ago, I had my cabinets refaced, and you did a fantastic job, so I called this year when I decided to update my counter tops and back splash. From start to finish, I was kept informed of start times and all costs for work upfront. No hidden fees or add-ons. Their craftsmen are professional and work efficiently, leaving minimal cleaning for me! Living in a small city apartment space is very limited, and this new update has given me more working space. My kitchen is beautiful! I will absolutely call Kitchen Magic again should I need additional upgrades. I highly recommend this worthwhile investment in your home!

We did not do any comparison shopping, we simply relied on the fact that Kitchen Magic is a well established kitchen remodeler. Indeed, everything was done professionally: cabinet refinishing, carpentry work, plumbing, drawer installation, quartz countertops, tile back splash. They were very responsive to requests, timing and even a minor follow-up. As this is newly installed, I can't address concerns about longevity but I do feel confident that the company stands by its product based on our experience with the installation.

Kitchen Magic did an excellent job! The cabinet work was professional in every detail, and George was a great craftsman. He came on time, worked all day, and cleaned up each day when he left. He answered all my questions as the work proceeded and finished the job earlier than expected. It was great to have a person at the company to call also-who actually answered the phone or called back within the same day. That was Amy. Her customer service was outstanding. The countertop people were great too! They measured and installed the countertop and cleaned up afterwards. Paul was professional and courteous when taking measurements and reviewed each cabinet, giving me options that I hadn't thought of. And back to the first person I met - Linda. She was pleasant and extremely thorough. She gave me a good price for the project, and surprisingly (since I wasn't familiar with Kitchen Magic) -everything she said/promised was done. I would recommend them 100%.

This review is geared towards city dwellers. If you live in NYC and want to see my renovated kitchen and bathroom, just call Kitchen Magic and ask for Joe and he will give you my contact information. I can give you a virtual tour for now. This will be a long review, because I wish that someone had provided this information to me years ago, so I could have enjoyed my dwelling much sooner and my now deceased husband who loved to cook, would have had a fine kitchen to work in. I live in a high rise coop building in the middle of Manhattan and having endured major renovations 15 years ago, I was putting off doing anything about my deteriorating kitchen and baths. I heard of horror stories in our building where reputable contractors began work after receiving a hefty deposit, and then suddenly disappeared .Others had to wait many weeks to get coop approval to do a renovation and had to pay the coop huge fees for damages caused by their contractors. Then of course the issue of living in a dusty apartment when a renovation is taking much longer than anticipated, is enough of a concern to keep putting off getting my dream kitchen. On top of that, I have family members who have asthma and allergies, and the dust was bound to cause problems. Lastly, who has time to navigate such an endeavor when life seems endlessly busy. So I lived with my kitchen despite cabinet doors peeling, counters looking dull and the floor starting to bulge because I was simply not ready to go through the ordeal of a renovation. However, I started doing research and almost signed on with a contractor, but he was so impatient with my questions that I kept looking. Somehow I came upon Kitchen Magic advertisements and I started researching resurfacing of kitchen cabinets. When I called, I was given the name of Joe Deluca, the NY sales representative. Thats when things started to look up for me. Joe (now my go to person) was the person who I consider pivotal in helping me make the decision to sign on with Kitchen Magic. We quickly made arrangements to get together and I loved that he was a true New Yorker...no frills, no high pitched sales...simply matter of fact, to the point and very clear about what could be done and what could not be done. He is also very personable and an animal lover with a huge heart. I had a strong gut feeling and trusted him immediately. He patiently answered all my questions, came up with great design ideas and in no time at all, I was signed up and ready to go for a complete kitchen overhaul. I read the history of Kitchen Magic on their website, and having been in business since 1979 gave them credibility that others lacked. Also the fact that the daughters of the founder are running the family owned business had its own appeal and I could relate having been in my own woman owned business. Because the cabinets are not removed, our coop building considered this cosmetic changes and not a renovation and there was no need for coop board approval or extra fees. Nothing was slowing us down. Within a few weeks, the crew came and began their work. They tented off a section of the apartment to reduce the dust and although it was crowded and uncomfortable, I was assured that all the work would be done in a week. I can endure anything for one week. Believe it or not, the day of completion(5th day)was the day Covid shut down the city and all the buildings. The crew left, the city went on shut down and I had a beautiful new, sparkling kitchen...with my only regret being that I wish I had done this years ago. Every-time I walk into my kitchen, its a joy and I marvel at how bright and beautiful it is. I can't wait to show my neighbors, when its safe to visit. For city dwellers, Kitchen Magic offers a solution not available with general contractors. Their products are high quality, their work is excellent, and the price is substantially less than doing a total renovation. A lifetime warranty comes along with their product which is not offered by any cabinet places I have dealt with. I had to leave during the pandemic and when I returned, I found moisture damage in two bathrooms. I did not hesitate to call Joe and he came to my place, helped me come up with ideas for resurfacing and building new cabinets and Kitchen Magic is almost complete with my two bathroom renovations. I have more projects planned. Kitchen Magic has a very organized system. My project manager, Maranda stayed very close and communicated well and made sure that issues were resolved quickly. Kitchen Magic is a perfect solution for city dwellers. This was a less expensive, less cumbersome, less time consuming solution to getting my dream kitchen and bathrooms. Thank you Joe, Miranda, and all those working behind the scenes at Kitchen Magic. You have brought much beauty into the lives of my family, especially during this difficult covid period.

I have had an amazing experience from Kitchen magic from start to finish. A knowledgeable employee First came to my house and helped us plan our new kitchen. She recommended helpful changes to increase storage space, add function and esthetics. We even added a much larger quartz island and the cost was about a third of a total kitchen remodel. Arben Gjokazaj was meticulous about the fine details of the project. I could not find anything to complain about! You can tell he really cares about the craftsmanship he completes. Best yet there is a life time warranty on the work. Our kitchen is now modern looking with no hassle. They completed the entire job when we were on vacation. It does not get better than that. This is a 5-star installation We recently had our kitchen cabinets refaced and I could not have been more pleased. The first meeting to the final finishing of the cabinets went very smoothly. The first individual we spoke with, outlined the process, provided pricing to showing color samples. All questions were answered and we did not feel the least bit pressured to moved forward. Actually, it was the opposite. After that first visit, we were ready to move forward. The second individual came out and spent about 4 hours obtaining all measurements, again answering all of our questions. The final team were the installers. They were incredibly talented professionals arriving on time, sealing off the area they were working in so as not to move dust throughout my home, and responding to any questions I may have had. The finished job was incredibly beautiful as it was not just the refacing we did but also added inside cabinet amenities such as rollouts, flat pan separators and their very special version of half-moon shaped lazy susans, made for deep corner cabinets. I had only one follow-up service call and they responded immediately. I look at it today and have to wonder why we did not do this sooner. This was a great experience working with Kitchen Magic.

Kitchen Magic remodeled our kitchen 3 years ago. The sales person was great, the carpenters arrived on time, and the work was done in 48 hours. They didn't damage anything, and left everything clean. While they worked on the kitchen they sealed off the rest of the house so we won't get the dirt in. Very nice crew. The cabinets are holding up very well. We have no issues at all. Kitchen Magic refaced our kitchen cabinets and we got new quartz countertops and subway tile backsplash. We were very pleased with the work they did. Everyone we dealt with from Jill and Chris and the cabinet installers we were very pleased. We liked the fact that we didn't have to wait a long time between the installation of cabinets, counter top and backsplash as soon as one was finished the next one was there to complete his job. I recently ordered new quartz counter tops for my kitchen through Costco. Costco uses Kitchen Magic as their contractor -- they were wonderful! The men who came to my home, from the man who first arrived to place the order, the man who measured and took pictures to the installer were all professional, always arrived on time and were most competent. Kitchen Magic did our kitchen in two stages over three years and we are very pleased to say that we are delighted with the results. From the beginning to the end the process was open and fair. Starting with the knowledgeable sales person and proceeding through the technical measuring appointment, installation, follow up, and subsequent service we were made to feel comfortable with the project - on both occasions. We felt our business was valued and our home was respected by every representative that came through our door. We refaced our kitchen and did our countertop at a later time. We had another urgent household expense and had to put the countertop off for what we thought would be six months that stretched into three years. Kitchen Magic assured us the job could be sectioned out with no consequences and even exceeded our expectations by offering us just over the initial price they quoted three years prior to complete the quartz countertop and back splash. We required service on two occasions and received prompt attention and the repairs were made with no charge on one occasion and little charge on the the other since it was our decision to change something after the job was completed. Five stars well earned and a pleasure to do business with. We have referred Kitchen Magic to friends and family without hesitation and will continue to do so. They all have been as satisfied as we are.

They know that the kitchen is the heart of the home, and they wanted to make sure we feel happy cooking and enjoying our meals there while connecting with loved ones. I called their long island, ny location to remodel our kitchen. i must say i'm impressed! joe was the rep we met with and he was professional, knew his stuff, etc. sent me a sample of our cabinets within 48 hrs, kitchen is currently scheduled for 2 weeks, 2 weeks ahead of time, if their installation is this good i will write an update!

We were pleased with the quality product offerings. They didn't overwhelm you with choices. We chose solid wood cabinet facings. The installation crew was outstanding. Top quality workmanship. The only slight negative was a bit of home office disorganization. The pricing was more reasonable than other vendors.

I would have given five stars except for a couple of things. The guy who came to our home for the estimate was a salesman through and through, which I wasn't expecting. There was a whole sales pitch with a quote that was way more than I expected and after working his "magic" brought the price down a few thousand. Although I still felt we probably paid too much for the refacing, and I just didn't have the time nor energy to get other quotes, we did go with Kitchen Magic and the cabinets do look great. Other complaint I have is I was told by the salesman that a project coordinator would be assigned to us and walk us through everything from start to finish. The only time I heard from the project coordinator was when I placed a call to find out status. The draftsman arrived right on time and was pleasant to deal with. The installer was also very attentive and kept us informed from start to finish (he was also a pleasure to work with). Overall there were no issues that arose and project has been completed and looks great!

Kitchen magic refaced our cabinets, replaced the floor and counter. We did have some bumps along the way. Our floor was not installed correctly. But to the credit of Kitchen Magic, they replaced the work and stood behind everything. They worked with us until we were happy. Our kitchen looks great and we are very happy knowing that when there were problems, and there are always problems with renovation, Kitchen Magic was professional, courteous, helpful and was willing to work with us to accommodate our needs. We are very happy with the results!

I wrote a negative review about this business on Saturday, Feb. 9 because I spent a second Saturday waiting for their estimator to arrive only to be told he was running late and could not make it. I was called first thing Monday morning by one of the owners of Kitchen Magic apologizing and promising to get an estimator here first thing this next Saturday and saying I would get a courtesy discount for all the trouble they put me through. So I'll say a tentative 3 stars and check back in next week when I see if they come as promised.

The company is very committed to doing a good job and they will fix anything that you don't like or that bothers you. We had a refacing of our old cabinets done. We changed them from an oak finish to a antique white laminate. The doors look great. The new drawers and soft close hinges are excellent. Two doors were replaced for small defects I noticed about a week or two after the job was completed. They came back and replaced them without question. They definitely want you to be satisfied with the job. We began this project after we made an appointment while walking out of our local Costco store. They came and gave us a separate quote for the quartz countertops and another quote for the re-facing. We agreed to the refacing quote but felt that the quartz quote was very high (Approx $160/ft2.) We were correct, I obtained 2 more quotes , one was $125/ft2 and the best I could find that came to $81/ft2 for the exact same product, Cambria Buckingham. In the end I went with granite at $70/ft2 from a local granite supplier. Savings of $4500, which paid for my new 3/4 hardwood floor. So, I feel like I should say something to Costco about that. Overall, I really liked the draftsman who came to the house and did the measurements, they were extremely accurate. The salesman was very polite and they made all their appointments on time. The job was done within 2 days as they had promised.

I hired KITCHEN MAGIC to replace 18 door fronts, 6 drawer fronts and molding. I am on my fourth appointment. The first time doors/drawers were delivered but without the molding. The second time was to install molding and replace five doors and one drawer front that were defective, but installer hung them anyway. During the second appointment, the second, more professional, installer noticed the molding was the wrong color and one of the replacement doors was for the right, not left side of cabinet. Hoping the third time would be the charm, but wasn't, the latest replacement door had the holes for the hinges in the wrong location which obviously didn't match up. Find a company that can do the job in one take, especially for a job as simple as this was. It's not worth the inconvenience and upset in your home. The customer service rep refers to these incidents as my challenges that they are correcting. I suppose this is the politically correct term for inferior product and overall incompetence. I'm supposed to be grateful that they are stepping up to fix all their mistakes. Believe it or not, this company has been in business for 41 years. Let me start off by saying that our sales rep was excellent and tried her best to make this work. Unfortunately, the rest of our Kitchen Magic experience was a nightmare. 1- They don't prepare you for the mess that they are going to make. My house was full of dust so much so that I ended up having to take my son to the doctor because he had an asthma attack. The thin piece of plastic they placed on the doorways did nothing to protect the rest of the house. 2- The original vinyl they put on one of the cabinets was scratched and not placed properly. It took them 3 different tries to get it right. 3- When they were done with floors they left gaps in between the flooring and the moldings that we had. They wanted to cover the gap with pieces of vinyl. Hello, do they not know that once you clean the floors (which I do very often) that the vinyl will begin to strip?!?!? 4- We had so many people coming in and out of our house. One to move the appliances; 3 different people to fix the vinyl; one guy to do the flooring and tiles; another to finish the boarders and put back the appliances; not to mention the 2 different inspectors that came in to address our complaints. 5- The project manager who was assigned to us rarely communicated with us. And based on what the contractors told us, there was very little communication between them and the project manager. 6- They took too long to finish my kitchen. They started on our kitchen on October 16th. It is now November 20th and they just finished. One of the owners has reach out to me but I honestly don't care at this point. Too much time has passed and I am extremely frustrated. Yes it is true that the cabinets are covered by their warranty but hopefully, the vinyl on the cabinets last so i don't have to deal with them ever again. I hope this review helps not only those looking to redo their kitchens but also Kitchen Magic. If you are looking to stay in business you need to rethink how you handle your customers and get new contractors for goodness sake!

We hired Kitchen Magic for a fairly large project that entailed ripping up the entire first floor of our home's flooring and replacing it with tile throughout. We also needed 2 new upper cabinets and 1 lower, matched to the existing cabinets. The cabinets were to be brought up to the ceiling, and topped off with crown molding. The backsplash was to be ripped out and replaced. All baseboards were to be replaced where the tile was put down. We also ordered 2 double pull out drawers for trash barrels. Granite countertops were purchased to replace the old ones. Initially, we had planned to use their plumber to re-hook up the kitchen and bathroom sinks. This project, unfortunately, had issues from the start. The job began on 6/18, and from that time until 7/9 we had to call an emergency electrician (stove began sparking when tile guys plugged it back in after screwing the electrical box back to the floor), an emergency plumber was called, due to the kitchen sink leaking during countertop installation, and a light fixture in the basement was broken during construction. These are things that can happen during projects like this, and Kitchen Magic has offered to reimburse for damages with proper proof (proof was provided immediately). I want make very clear, that the subcontractors have done good work. The issue stems from Kitchen Magic's deficient customer service, and poor communication, both internally to one another, externally to the customer, as well as when placing orders. No clear timeline was defined. We were often left questioning when a particular part of the job would take place, and who would be doing the work. When dates were given, they were often changed. Verbal promises were made by the salesman, that were not honored because "they are not in the contract". (This part, we as homeowners must take responsibility for. We thought we had asked the proper questions, and did not expect to get taken advantage of, but ultimately this is our "fault") Between my husband and myself, we have made and received ~50 calls in 24 business days. We both work full time, and the majority of these calls resulted in our being put on hold for 10-25 minutes on each call. We have had to wait extended periods of time for materials because they were not ordered at all, or the wrong materials were ordered. On three occasions we were missing items, which led to the delay of the project (cabinet items were missing upon first delivery, cabinet drawer pullout missing after second delivery, and the wrong baseboard was ordered. The baseboards were ultimately picked up at Home Depot by the carpenter, after waiting 1 month for delivery.) Items that ARE listed in the contract, had to be fought for via email and phone calls. I was told twice by our project leader that the items were not in the contract, and I had to point out that they were. All paperwork has been signed and we are supposed to receive reimbursement for damage done during installation in the amount of $1148. After several of my calls revolved around how unhappy we have been, due to the multiple issues and poor customer service we received, Kitchen Magic offered a refund of $250. This is approximately .07% of the full cost of our job. I do not feel this justifies the many hours we had to take out of our work days to field calls to the company, work our schedule around their poorly organized, often changing delivery dates, and waiting an additional month for completion, due to their lack of internal communication. I only agreed to this amount because I wanted to be done dealing with the customer service team, and I did not expect they would offer any further reimbursement. We have tried to remain patient and understanding, however, their customer service department lacks training, organization, and empathy. I would not recommend Kitchen Magic.

Read the fine print. In 2021, I had my entire kitchen cabinets refaced along with new doors & some of the draws. I chose Kitchen Magic because the warranty is a big deal for me. Since said time, I've had 1 cabinet door exchanged & the other was to put heat shields under the doors by my stove. It was done for free because the Rep intervened. Now that same door that was replaced is hanging from the hinges. Per their service dept. "It's an easy fix, 1 hour at $250." It is alleged that the so called warranty is only for the parts, not labor. Horrible company

This is now April 20 25. Kitchen Magic started my kitchen in August 2024. They are still not done re-caulking and refacing what the original installers didn't do correctly. Then they came up about a couple months later and said the caulking would fix the splits in the re facing mayerial. Even I knew that was wrong, but this is what they kinda get over on customers with. Then you get fluffy emails from the owner. No Cindy, your contractors, your refacers , and your customer service people all need replacement. There's no communication. It takes weeks for them just to send you caulk for them to use. Then it takes weeks for them to send the person to fix their mistakes. There is no communication and when you speak with these folks, they try to make it seem like it's all the customer's fault. No responsibility at all. Stay away from this business. 20 grand for eight months worth of headaches, lies, delays delays delays, and no communication. No stars no stars no stars -10 stars.
