I just had my kitchen remodel from Alex Apelian at Kitchen By Design. I cannot speak highly enough about Alex and his family who put together a smooth and beautiful remodel in 25 days. I found Alex and his business when driving past his place of business going to work this past 3 years. Alex was very prompt for all appointments, returns calls or texts immediately, is very professional, never pushy and explains everything in detail as the project progresses. His number one importance and priority is to do anything to make sure that his clients are happy. Everything went so smooth and the end result of my kitchen is absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t be happier. If you are thinking about doing a kitchen remodel do not go to Home Depot (they are no help). Call Alex at Kitchen By Design. You will not be disappointed. Kitchen By Design also does bathrooms and closets. Call them right alway as they get many referrals once a job is completed. You won’t be disappointed!

Their service and selection was excellent. Apel is timely to respond and they were able to start work the following week. The kitchen came out beautifully and the craftsmanship was unparalleled. We were able to get everything we asked for, for much less then we had originally anticipated. Apel also was able to help us figure out all of the design and layout issues we were struggling with prior to the consult. I will use Kitchen by Design again on our next project and have recommended them to several of my friends.

Apel and his team did a great job on our new kitchen. Showed us the mockup design he had for us. Came and installed everything and even finished the job earlier than promised. We asked for a few touch up things at the end of the job and they were super responsive. Definitely planning to use them when we need to do our master bath.

As first time homeowners of a fixer upper, saying that my husband and I were apprehensive would be an understatement. However, we were lucky enough to find Kitchen by Design. The team helped us bring our kitchen into modern times (check out the before and after pictures). They installed brand new cabinets, extended our island, installed new backsplash, beautiful finishings and much more. They went above and beyond to bring my black kitchen island dreams to life!! They even installed cabinets in our laundry room and top floor to ensure we had a consistent look throughout our house. The Kitchen by Design team was extremely responsive throughout the whole project which I truly appreciated. The team was dependable and transparent. As an added bonus, they were extremely willing to work with our budget and transparent about what we could and could not afford. We get so many compliments on our kitchen now and a year later the quality is still as good as new. I can't wait to remodel our bathrooms next with the Kitchen by Design team!

I am very happy with my new kitchen, and I have Alex and his team at Kitchen By Design to thank for it. It was by chance I happened upon their store while visiting Sherman Williams next door for exterior paint. I stopped by unannounced and was warmly welcomed. Alex said he would come to my home the following day to take measurements. True to his word, he showed up on time, and within a day or two showed me a layout with a cost estimate that was within my budget, along with outlining the scope of work and writing up a contract. The estimated project time was three and a half weeks. I signed on the bottom line and the work began the following week. Alex was great to work with and was professional, and responsive to any of my questions or concerns. By having a storefront with an assortment of good quality, cabinets, tile, fixtures and fittings to choose from, I felt more comfortable working with Kitchen By Design vs other contractors that showed up at my home in a truck with a tape measure, notepad and a pencil behind one ear. Given I was not able to be on-site the entire time, technology played a huge part in keeping the project on track. Alex kept me up to date with progress. He got input from me when necessary, and the project completed on time. When I walk into my new kitchen, I still can't believe it's finished. Once I refill the coffers, we will tackle the bathroom next! I am including BEFORE and AFTER photos as that shows the transformation clearly. Thank you, KBD!

We had water damage in our kitchen so we took the opportunity to redo the cabinets in our kitchen. Apel and his team came and repaired the drywall, painted, demo'd the old cabinets, and got the new cabinets installed - promised in 3 weeks and was finished ahead of schedule. The new cabinets look great, high quality. We asked for a few things to be done at the end - touch up caulking, extra shelves, adjust drawer heights - and they were super responsive. All done with a smile. Will definitely give them a call when we need to do our master bath.

we couldn't be happier with our kitchen remodeling project! We looked and shopped all around for different kitchen cabinet vendors, from San Gabriel Valley to O.C. to compare prices, quality and services. But, when we are so happy that we found Kitchen by Design, the pricing and service provided were very impressive. The installation of the cabinets was very detailed. Best we have seen. Our house was built in 1937, due to the settling of the house, the floor is not completely leveled, wall is not straight, the installer was patient and paid attention to the details. He always cleaned up everything at the end of the day. We received lots of compliment by friends and family such as our kitchen is elegant, or it looks like something people see in the magazine and more. We are very happy with the result and highly recommend Kitchen by Design to anyone interested in remodeling their kitchen or bathroom.
