We got granite countertops for our kitchen with KGM. To summarize each part of the experience: Selection: This was a much better process than I anticipated. They had a nice selection, some really good prices, and paid attention to what we said we had in mind in order to adapt their suggestions. I never felt like I was being "sold" something we didn't want. Measurement and Install: Everyone was pretty much on time and good at communicating ETAs. Install wasn't perfect, but remedied quickly and the end result is exactly what we wanted. Employees: We genuinely think KGM has high expectations of their employees in terms of quality of work and professionalism. Correspondence: Couldn't ask for better--we were always able to get a hold of somebody and never got put off.

Kansas Granite did a wonderful job from start to finish. Don and his crew went the extra mile to keep our slate backsplash intact by trimming where needed and slid the granite right under it. They are reasonably priced (less than big box stores) and gave great customer service. Quick turnaround for install too

I have used the company on more than one occasion. This is the last time I will do business with them. Cabinets were not installed to the ceiling as I requested so I was charged for the filler pieces to hide the gap between the ceiling and the top of the cabinets. The installers put trim pieces on some of the exterior and not all. I was charged additional to have trim pieces installed so that it would match with the installers had initially done. The hole for the faucet was drilled in the wrong spot. The sink was mounted off center. Repeatedly asked that the owner reach out to me. That never happened.

From the first day we were not given all the info requested and that just continued through the process. Once you pay the 75% they do not do honest work. The schedules were not communicated and so we were without a kitchen for 2 months when we were told it would be 3 weeks (they had everything in stock). They didn't give us an option for the edging for the granite because they "decided" for us. We had trouble getting a hold of the project manager and had to surprise them at the business to have a conversation. We have requested to speak with the owner numerous times but have been told that he is either out of town or doesn't "deal with these kinds of issues." The cabinets ended up hitting our new fan, so I had to replace it -- I asked for the difference in cost and they refused. We showed them the photos of cabinets hitting the fan, curtain rods, and uneven cabinetry to which they have blamed us. The response we have received is that they will take a cabinet back and not charge a restocking fee-thereby not addressing or acknowledging any other documented issues for which they came and did 2 measurements for. They proceeded to say everything is our fault even though they were responsible for measurements. I'm confident when we take them to small claims court, all of the documentation speaks for itself. The manager Sydnee sent us a new contract to sign with all of the issues we stated, printed in red, to say they have no liability for the errors. We said we are not signing a new contract since we have already signed one and paid 75% -- that's just a terrible business practice and lacks common sense. Do yourself a favor and go with a more reputable company who stands by their work, communicates effectively, knows how to measure twice and cut once, doesn't try to implement a new contract during a job, and has no qualms about getting the owner involved when the company is clearly at fault. Lastly, Miriana was our project manager and I would highly recommend steering clear of her for all of the above reasons.

I’m very happy with my countertops. They were very easy to work with and the price affordable. The lady that was our sales representatives and liaison between purchase and install was great. She answered all our questions with prompt respond time. The installers were very efficient, friendly and did a beautiful job! Absolutely no complaints.

strange name for a Missouri business? I don't think a Missouri granite Mart would go too well over in Kansas. I like supporting my home state businesses. too confusing for me and too many other choices
