They did a wonderful job. Getting everything scheduled, paid for and to the day of install was mildly disorganized but I imagine that is because they are busy and I don't really care so long as the final product is done well. The day of the installation the guys came at the stated time, were courteous and friendly and got right to work. They finished in record time and the final product was spectacular. I had three big bathroom vanity counters with five total sinks removed/installed. Everything was flush, caulked well, measured accurately and perfect. On top of that they were very reasonably priced and had many options to choose from. If I'm ever in the market for countertops again I will be going to them.

So thrilled with Ironclad Construction and our new countertops. Would highly recommend Ironclad. They recommended a few extra little things I would have never thought of that made it turn out even better than I imagined. Even though our project was small, they always gave us the feeling that our job was the most important one.

It hasn’t even been 10 mins since Ironclad left and I can’t get over how beautiful the countertops are. Thank you so much Charles and Carlos, you were both so informative, professional, and super tidy. Can’t wait to see the final product with the new backsplash! 10/10 recommend!!

Signed a contract with them and paid the deposit to have 3 window sills done, an additional counter in a laundry room. Then I need 3 new sinks holes cut and sinks mounted. This they said they could do no problem. They cut all pieces, installed the window sills and set the counter in the laundry room, but did not actually secure it. They told me they would be back the next day to secure the countertops and match the radius's to the existing stone and cut / mount sinks.
They did not show up the following day and they did not call. I called them and emailed the following business day. I did not hear back and they would not take my call nor email me back. Finally after several attempts, they email back and said they would let me know by the following business day when they could come back and do the work.
They never emailed me again, no communication after that. I sent a few more emails, and finally gave up.
So now I am looking for a new company that can come and finish the work they signed a contract on.
The stone looks great, but that is not because of them. They purchase the stone from a vendor, so the stone looks great and matches because of the manufacturer.
If you are doing a new countertop setup, all new, I am sure they are great! If they show up.
They did the work I paid for, which was the deposit, after that, nothing. Apparently contracts don't mean anything to this company.

We recently remodeled our master bathroom, and used Ironclad Countertops. They did an excellent job! I was able to use remnants (rather than purchasing an entire slab, which I didn't need). Linda Garcia was incredibly helpful in choosing a piece that would work for our project. After choosing the countertops, we chose sinks, and I was on my way. Anthony came out to our home within a couple of days to measure the template, and I was told to expect about 10 days before they'd be out to install. Within a week, they called to say they were ready! How great! Anthony and Gilbert installed the countertops and sinks, and they look beautiful! Everyone I worked with at IronClad was professional, reliable, and super friendly. I would definitely recommend them!

Everyone was very professional and did an amazing job. They made it very easy and I only had to go pick out my countertops. I went to Stone Collection and picked a granite slab. They came out and did the measurements for me. It took 10 days after measuring to install. The two gentlemen that came over were very precise and even took the time to seal an electrical receptacle on the outside brick for me. They also take credit cards which made it super valuable to me! I would recommend to anyone who is seeking a professional installation of granite counters. The cost was very fair.

I really wanted to be able to give this family-run business five stars, but I have been frustrated from early on. Communication is so important through home renovations and their communication (mostly with-in the office) was horrible! They were quick to respond initially, then they sent the invoice for the down payment and once it was paid, communication was very rough.
In addition, while the installers were very nice, they were messy. They didn't do anything to protect my floors from their shoes or equipment. They used my brand new glass top stove as a workstation; a place to set their tools and the counter glue, until I noticed (thankfully) and asked them to NOT to put their stuff on it.
Also, they didn't send enough guys to get the slab safely up my stairs (although they were aware of my entryway situation from pictures I sent, as well as picture from the guy who came to make the template). The lack of muscle also became an issue when they placed the slab, crushing a corner of my wall that then needed to be repaired. Several more guys came after the counter was inside and in place. They were too late to be helpful, but all took turns in my bathroom (totally don't mind people using my bathroom usually, that's why it is there), but the toilet was covered in grown-man pee and so I also got to clean that up once they were gone. So gross.
Another issue that arose during install, they installed large thick supports on one end rather than a temporary support as discussed, where I was having a shelf built in. The owner was here and we discussed the damage and the supports. He did apologize about this miscommunication regarding the supports and offered to come cut them if they made shelf install too difficult. He also said they would deduct the cost of repairs for the corner, however, they didn't reach out to my contractor about this or deduct anything. My contractor built around the supports and repaired my wall.
While the owner was here, I asked him when I would be able to stand on my countertops to decorate above my cabinets and Anthony told me that at no point should I stand on my countertops or they might crack. This should have been information provided to me (without me having to ask), just as information on how to care for quartz countertops. Thankfully Anthony was there when I asked that question about standing on them, because once he left I tried to ask some questions about cleaning them, but the two guys that remained had a little trouble communicating and only tried to show me a cleaner they use. They could not tell me if the cleaners that I have are OK and did not explain anything about how heat would affect them. It would've been nice to have some information on how to care for them. I had to get information from friends and family that had recently had quartz installed. Their installers had gone over care details with them, which just makes sense and should be standard practice.
In the days following installation, I emailed the office to ask if they would be charging my original payment or sending me a new invoice to pay with a different card. I asked them to not charge the original payment and to give me an opportunity to change the way I paid for the remaining balance. I also mentioned the damage again. I never heard back from them (to this day, a month later). I did a follow up email a few days afterwards and never heard back regarding that one either. I thought perhaps the delay in sending out an invoice had to do with my wall repair cost, but there was no communication about this. I did not receive an email with an invoice until weeks after install, when I was three days past due. It mentioned that I would be charged late fees and legal cost if not paid immediately. It also claimed that they had contacted me in a previous email and that this was not their first attempt to get paid. I went back and searched my emails and I had not received any invoice or correspondence since before the work was done (down payment) and that one had been paid. Not only had they not responded to my two emails, or contacted me in regards to the damages, but they were also threatening me with additional costs for not paying a bill that was never sent. I immediately paid the full amount (though it did not have any adjustments for damages), because I am not one who likes having late fees; I don't have extra money laying around for that. However, I am very disappointed with their poor communication and did not feel as if I was a valued customer at any point during the process.
I did inform my contractor of all the above issues, as he had referred me to them after using them once before. My contractor will definitely reconsider referring them in the future.
I am happy with my countertops and the installation, but I think I could have found that, plus some better communication if I had gone elsewhere.

Sorry, I wanted to like them. Communication was terrible, paid a ton of money for something we have to hire someone else to come out and fix. We sent images of what we wanted out of the slab and where, and when it was delivered it was not what we specified. The installers showed up 3 hours early, took over the entire house, it was like the place was on fire, running in and out of the door, slamming tools all over the floors, pounding on the newly refinished cabinets, cutting holes in walls...
We called and asked if we could get it fixed and the reply was 'No'. His staff wouldn't call us back anymore. Oh well, it was an expensive lesson, we were trying to help a small business but it didn't work.

IronClad Construction began working with me on her specified home projects in the summer of 2017, at which time I paid $13,028 to engage IronClad's services. At that time, we agree that IronClad would complete work by April of 2018. On January 16, 2018, Ironclad provided Joann with a "Job Agreement and Pre-Template Checklist" ("Initial Quote"), a four-page document which I signed on page two (accepting the specifications and conditions), and initialed next to various statements on page four. Notably, I did not sign on page three (the authorization to automatically bill the card on file). That Initial Agreement acknowledges a payment by me of $13,028.00 on September 5, 2017 , and states a remaining balance of $4,334.86, which amount is stated to cover "100% material cost and 50% of labor cost. . .due upon installation."
On April 2, 2018, IronClad Construction charged my credit card a second $13,000, without any authorization from me. This amount was presumably charged in error because it was in excess of amounts allegedly owed (previously or currently), and has not been credited to my account on subsequent Job Detail Confirmation(s). When the erroneous charge was thereafter discovered by, Ironclad failed to provide clarification and Joann had to dispute the charge through her credit card company.
On July 4th, IronClad sent Joann a second Job Detail Confirmation Form ("Quote #2"), detailing the work to be completed, with an updated balance due of $11,666.82. A third "Job Agreement" from IronClad Construction/ Tafgar Companies was sent to me on August 16, 2018, reflecting
the 9/5/2017 payment by Joann for $13,028.00 and reflecting a balance due of $12,062. Despite these multiple agreements, and a significant amount of time spent throughout this process, the work on my home was never completed.
In addition to the erroneous billing, I has incurred several expenses as a result of IronClad's failure to perform pursuant to the terms of the parties' agreement(s). A few of these problems arising from IronClad's delays and errors include:
(1) an additional appliance cost of $2,000 due
to multiple re-scheduling of delivery dates;
(2) My cost of maintaining a second residence while the property is under construction, $5000.00 extra each month, which Ironcald need be responsible for the economic damage.
(3) the cost to repair a broken window broken by
IronClad employees and/or contractors;
(4) failure to customize the stairs as requested; and
(5)several incorrect measurements by IronClad (including measurements of the guest bathroom tile and granite, downstairs wall tile, kitchen backsplash tile, and master bathroom tile), resulting in delays and corresponding materials shipping fees for multiple reorders. Additionally, IronClad Construction has retained the materials purchased for my project, for which materials Joann has already paid pursuant to the terms of the Initial Agreement
I was under contract with Ironclad for 13 months but they barely complete any work at my house. I had to let them go on Aug. 31th, 2018. This company is just not capable of doing a right job.
I hired an attorney in September and requested they return my material and take their tools away so I can continue my project but Ironclad just ignore my request.
Today, after 17 months since the we were under contract, I received a bill from Ironclad which shows the balance is $51,008.00. Well, let's go to court and let the judge decide.

Can I give them a Negative star review? -20. They were late 4 weeks on the install (based on the "4 weeks from deposit" estimate I was given by Anthony, and the written invoice) after a phone reaming. Otherwise it would have been 5 or more weeks late. Causing me to delay an extra month costing me thousands. The center bore holes for the faucets were off-center. Now they are threatening late fees and interest because they haven't received final payment. It's Oct 24th they finished the job on Oct.4th. That takes some brass b**ls to be way late on your end and then demand immediate payment for sloppy work. STAY AWAY! people, or you will wish you had.
P.S.-They also tried to run a credit card I gave them for the deposit, for the final payment without permission. Or even leaving a message or e-mail telling me they were going to try. Thank You Capital One fraud monitoring!
P.P.S.-Yes these criminals have been paid.

Acting as a mystery shopper, our analyst attempted to contact company representatives to clarify the timeframe for a standard 83.4 sq. ft. countertop project — however, either the calls and messages went unanswered, or the staff were unable or unwilling to provide an estimated completion time. Does Ironclad Construction offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Ironclad Construction performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Ironclad Construction provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Ironclad Construction, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Ironclad Construction in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
