James Yost started the company in 1987. Over 35 years in business have resulted in their being one of the most successful countertop companies in California. When Henry Rodriguez became a partner in October 2000, it helped to grow the firm significantly. Do NOT work with this company! They tell you they cannot do a final measurement until you’ve completely removed the countertops and unhooked your sink. A minimum of 5/7 business days without the use of your kitchen, then it turns out to be two weeks without a sense of urgency that their customers have no way to cook or wash dishes for two weeks. This coupled with an unexpected $2500 fee after you’ve already paid and picked out your slab. Then I get a call from the plumbing company they work with who hits you with another expense of buying a new Garbage disposal because they won’t put the one you have back on. Very poor communication, no urgency to get their customers their kitchen back. Very very bad business.

Worst company ever. I had countertops ordered, inland countertops cane out and measured. The measurements were wrong and the counters did not sit as intended (overhang). I stopped installation. The company refused to take responsibility saying "well if your cabinets were standard this would have been avoided." The company is refusing to take rectify the problem.

We live in a 1954 year old home that desperately needed a kitchen update. The countertops were original to the house and had seen better days. We had called several countertop companies and none seem to fit our needs. Then Bryce from Inland Countertops walked through the door and made our kitchen dreams became a reality. From day one Bryce was professional knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He knew his stuff and would answer any questions we had with honesty and clarity. We also can’t leave out the helpful assistance from Barbara, our friendly and trustworthy point of contact for Inland Countertops. She was lovely. Lastly, the installation team did an amazing job. First 2 projects went well but slow. This time is costing us money! It's been over a month and still no contract, just excuses! I've been a licensed contractor for over 15 years and have never dealt with this level of unprofessional nonsense! I know how to use a tap measure and 32sqft is now 38 sqft. They can't email me my contract because I already used it? Huh? This is Home Depots go to counter top installer? I can't even talk to anyone with Home depot! I tried but it just rings a rings... Mean while this kitchen just sits and sits.. notice there is no way to CALL BS on this rating. Most of their excuses are nonsense!! It's the 8th of January and still no contract. I've contracted with a better company. Measure, template, and install, all in one week. Better price, better product, and no games..

I rarely leave reviews for business other than restaurants, but this one I felt the need to do as a way of saying Thank You! I paid around $19k for countertops + full backsplash (I think it was $15k for countertops only). On par with the other places I checked. I got the quartzite slabs thru MSI and the whole contract was done thru Home Depot. I paid with credit card. The guys at Inland did an amazing job! I'm extremely detail oriented; any small glitches usually ruin my overall satisfaction. An OCD about quality. I was very satisfied with the quality of work that Inland delivered. They didn't try to cut any corners when it comes to quality. The miter edges were phenomenal. You can barely see the edge lines (check pics), less than a hairline. Laser straight lines. I was EXTREMELY impressed. That was my biggest concern after seeing my neighbors kitchen. The way they matched veins was very well done. The way they veins flow from the backsplash to the countertop and finally at the edge turned out really amazing. That was also a concern of mine since individual contractors mess that out. The polishing was very well done. All edge surfaces are shiny like a mirror. The waterfall they did turned out very well. All guests were impressed by it. They sent out a photo layout that showed the veins and all cuts before they started cutting, and that matched exactly how the project turned out. The guys they sent were very detail oriented. The backsplash took extra effort, and the guys spent from 8am to 8pm and never tried to cut corners. I really appreciate quality work! Really kudos to the team. The sales person (Bryce) they sent was very patient on me as I had to go thru so many slabs and kept changing the design aspects (with/without backsplash, miter edge, etc.)

We wanted new countertops in our kitchen. Someone recommended Inland Counter Tops. We called them and within a few days they came to our house to talk to us about the job and show us samples. Matt, the office, and the crew were great to work with. When the job was finished Matt told us that they only needed 2 slabs of granite instead of the 3 that he had estimated which reduced our bill by thousands of dollars. How honest was that?! We never would have known. It's a good feeling to work with a company that has integrity. Oh, and we COULDN'T BE HAPPIER with our new countertops!!!

Inland Counter Tops is the ONLY company that I would use to create and install any solid surface. If your kitchen or bath is of standard size and layout you will have to sub contract with them via Lowes or Home Depot. If in the Fontana area I suggest Lowe's and here is why. Different solid surfaces have different installers. Alberto at Lowe's Fontana knows the surfaces that contract with Inland counter tops. You may decide you prefer the look of one of the other counter tops, get over it or make a big mistake. Block Tops, Sage Solutions and anyone other than Inland Counter Tops will suck. Do a search of reviews for Block Top and Sage Solutions and you can thank me with cash or gift cards. I started with Block Top via Home Depot. They are pure crap but I got my money back before they started by contacting the issuer of the credit card used. Two important things to know. 1. You can dispute/stop payment as long as the work has not been started. 2. Home Depot will do nothing to help. The work performed by Inland Counter Top was Amazing! They are clean, efficient and the end product is perfect. The installers Beto and Paco are great. To recap, Lowes, Alberto, Inland Counter Top or learn to enjoy disappointment. Inland was also the best price after the drunk guy who could not find my house, on a major street, a few blocks away. Thank you Inland Counter Tops after my fourth quote I had resigned to the fact I would probably be going with tile.

Gorgeous work! Every member of the team, from measurer to office to installers, was professional, clean, fast, polite and made everything very easy and pleasant. Prompt initial measuring and template creating. Then a short delay getting all the Dekton slabs we needed, but they kept in contact with us to keep us apprised. Jesus was the head installer, and he was meticulous and perfectionistic about every little detail of edges, seams, clean-up, everything! The entire installation took only 2 short days, including demolition, counters, backsplashes, sink, faucets and plumbing. Dekton is usually very expensive, but we got 3 slabs on sale through Lowes and they arranged the install with Inland Counter Tops for the same price as quartz which is always less expensive. So every detail of this was amazingly easy and we couldn't be more thrilled!

(Disclaimer: I did not end up hiring this company). Had numerous conversations with Matt and got quotes for the job which was basically fabrication and installation of all new quartz counters up in Big Bear Lake. Pricing was competitive and they seemed to be experts in quartz installation for sure. Matt was super accessible and answered all my questions. I am sure the job would have been installed just beautifully if we had hired them to do the work. It's hard to find good contractors willing to come up to Big Bear so I was happy I found them. The only reason we did not hire them was because we were in a big hurry and another company was able to complete the job faster (same price). That said, Matt's timeline was still pretty good.

Dealing with contractors can be a nightmare: late, no shows, filthy work area, shoddy work, zero follow through... When I call I call Inland Countertops I know I will have NONE of that! I've been using ICT since its inception. I met James Yost when he was installing my kitchen when he worked at another company in 1988! I have used them on 20+ jobs over the years, always professional and always perfect. Great price for the exceptional quality. They have done the normal kitchen & bath projects for me but also interesting things such as: wall height splashes that wrap into the windows, desks, bars, pony walls and posts, etc. They love challenges. The photos are of my last project in Seal Beach. 4556 Fir Ave 90740. You can also look at how everything came out on Zillow.com or Realtor.com This company does 30 kitchens a day on a regular basis. Will a few people complain, especially when a third party is involved like Home Depot or Lowe's, of course. They contractually are not allowed to respond. There is a reason these huge corporations have ICT doing their work: best service and quality with the fewest call backs. When you have to return to a job, you basically lost money on it. The Gold Standard for granite, quartz, and solid surfaces such as Corian.

Was frustrated I couldn't find a Corian supplier or installer (Corian is out of fashion but I love it). These people are amazing Awesome quality and service. So far have done (6) projects ALL PERFECT. ON TIME ON BUDGET. Still have the kitchen to go but will only use Inland. Our experience with Inland Counter Tops has been absolutely amazing thus far. To start, Bryce was very responsive, friendly and knowledgeable as we were in the planning phase of this project. Ray, who came out to do a template for us, is an actual saint, in addition to being great at his job. Inland Counter Tops is the best counter top company we have ever done business with, and we have done our share of remodels over the years. One of the owners, Henry, personally came out to our house a week before our counter top install to correct a problem with our farmhouse sink install. He was very skilled, and didn't charge us anything for the considerable amount of work he did to install the sink correctly. We are very appreciative of ICT's commitment to customer satisfaction. They really care about the quality of the work they do! I also want to commend Mr. Juan Cardenez, and Mr. Vladimir Lemus for the wonderful installation of our counter tops. Our cabinets were slightly out of level; they compensated beautifully for the problem, and the seams are invisible! Thanks to all at Inland Counter Tops for exceeding our expectations! These guys were part of an installation from another contractor. James came and did all the measurements. We had kitchen and bathroom granite installed and the short story is they were the BEST! The installers spent a lot of time checking and rechecking the counter to be sure everything was level and solid. Our job was unique cuz the old counter had been installed in 1955 and there was 1" thick concrete as a sub-base. They custom cut plywood (different thicknesses) to level the base and had to deal with unusual cuts in the stone. Installers were clean and polite. They knew what they were doing as my wife and I have done rehabs for many years, we just didn't want to do the heavy work anymore. Even our dogs loved these guys!

They were really nice, did a good job, and cleaned up afterwards. The issue i had was my damaged wood floor which i noticed after all was said and done and i was washing the floor a few days later. They would not contact me, refused to come out and look at it, and came up with bogus excuses. Up to that point it was a good experience. Luckily, i have a friend in construction who was able to repair area, and it was not a big deal. Due to this, i would never refer anyone.

I ordered a granite counter top from Home Depot. Inland Counter Tops was contracted to do the work. The counter top was to be installed in a small mountain cabin with a newly designed kitchen. The clearances were tight. My farm sink is located very close to a corner. When the installation was completed, I discovered that a cabinet drawer and a cabinet door that were on the corner next to the farm sink were restricted by the sink from opening. Because the farm sink was installed so far out, I could not use the drawer or door! I called Inland Counter Tops and they provided no answers. They stated that the farm sink was installed correctly. Now I am stuck with brand new cabinets, sink and counter tops, but I cannot use them as they are installed. When the measurements were done and also on the day of the installation I was asked many questions about the fit and finish of the counter top. It would have been professional if the person measuring or the installer would have asked me a simple question-"Because of this drawer and door, where (how far back or forward) do you want the farm sink installed?" Now it seems that I will have to destroy the counter top and pay for an entire new counter top in order for the job to be done correctly.

So they actually showed up on the right day, though they were again 2 hours late. The installers were nice enough to leave an oil stain on my driveway with their super old truck. The installers themselves were very nice and did a pretty good job. BESIDES They did not install plywood under the countertop except where it spanned over an empty space such as a dishwasher hole. I asked them why they did this and is it strong enough without plywood. They said yes its very strong. Knock on my $10,000 counter tops and it sounds hollow and the counter top shakes when given a good hard knock. I have had much cheaper granite installations before that felt more solid than this. My cabinet installer was about to install plywood for me as it was included with his quote, but I told him no, the counter top people wanted to do that. If I knew they were going to get cheap, I would have had my cabinet guy do that. I am overall very disappointed with this company. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the finished look is very nice and they didn't leave a mess and they finished in 1 day (once they finally got to my house). I will pray that these don't crack some day. Maybe in a few years I can come back and update an extra star if they don't.

Terrible company !! I paid good money for quartz countertops, and you can see the seams and feel them and they completely dusted my whole house out and then left. After speaking to the owner, they didn't even bother coming out to take a look at it nothing. Just excuses Don't waste your time with this company, terrible customer service, and shoddy work.

no stars We paid for the complete job through home depot. Had to cancel. They wanted to tear out our countertops and the install the new ones TWELVE (12) days later... Two weeks with no kitchen?? Are you friggin kidding me?

home depot sent inland counter tops to install the granite in my house. Their employee showed up late and immediately asked me how much I paid for the cabinets and counters, he said I paid too much! right off the bat terrible customer relations. He drilled a soap dispenser in the wrong spot and I had to customize, Then his drill bit exploded leaving burn marks all over my guest bathroom drawers and cabinet, I called the company they said oh we will investigate and make this right, they sent someone out and collected the broken bit pieces and never made good on their promise, now I'm left with burn marks all over my new cabinet to remember them by. They also charged me for a sink install that they never did after I asked to take that off the bill. Also the initial measurement guy that showed up put his equipment case on the brand new floors in an area that wasn't protected by construction paper, when he went to grab it he swung it up fast scratching the expensive bamboo floor. setting tools down on a new construction floor specifically in an area that wasn't protected? Wow, TERRIBLE COMPANY ALL AROUND, AVOID, READ REVIEWS FOR WHOEVER YOU CHOOSE. Good luck

Never spoke my language to ensure me the job they were doing was done properly. Never gave me any paperwork to sigh before or after the work was done. Broke my side window while installing counter tops, informed them right away but never responded with evaluation.These people should be put out of business doing scandalous business like this. Being hired to do a job for a studio or mansion it should take the same work ethic. If they speak the same language or look the same the job shouldn't be done better if the pay is the same. Working hard to have a nice home is what everybody wants, but they don't want it damaged while trying to upgrade/repair it..Karma until I'm whole again

Don't let them even try and make repairs to the products they install. The colors don't even come close to matching. Also they deny that they had employees come to inspect the damage.
