We recently purchased a house and wanted to add an additional cabinet in the kitchen thus necessitating getting a larger piece of quartz. HIS was recommended from the builder as they were the ones who installed the original. I called them and Lois assured me that they would be able to take care of my request. They came over to measure, and a few weeks later came and removed the old quartz to make sure it was a close match since it had been over 3 months since they initially installed the other tops in the kitchen. When I was ready for the countertop, the gentleman who removed and installed were efficient, nice and knowledgeable answering all our questions. From my initial contact with Lois, to (Tracy or Terri) who handled scheduling, the measurer and the installers, everyone at the company were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them for your counter needs. They made me feel that my small job was valued to them just as much as a much larger order would have been.

The Bottom Line: My Full-height Backsplash and Countertops are gorgeous! I couldn’t be happier with the design, service and finished product. HIS, Inc. Kitchen and Bath rock! Don’t hesitate to contact them for a flawless project. After meeting with 8 different countertop providers in both Pinellas and Hillsborough, my experience at HIS, Inc. was uniquely different. It was only by chance that I drove by and saw their showroom. The minute I walked in I was well received, although I had no appointment. Beth immediately gave me her time and attention to listen to my project details. In contrast, one of the former providers insisted on a series of scheduled appointments that seemed designed more as a sales tactic than interest in me or my project. Two others never even bothered to get back to me at all. And one gave me an inflated quote on entirely the wrong dimensions. Beth at HIS, Inc. got back to me with a quote right away, in just a couple of days, and the pricing was extremely competitive, the dimensions were accurate, and the customer service was outstanding. The templating, fabrication and installation were timely and went just as well. By now, I thought I was dreaming. After a remodeling project that was often riddled with disaster - re-dos, delays, etc. – HIS, Inc. was THE ONLY thing that went right and I couldn’t be happier with the results! It was a real pleasure and a breath of fresh air to find such a competent operation where I was treated so well and assisted through my whole decision-making process. It made this part of my project a dream. I only wish I would have discovered HIS, Inc. before using someone else for my cabinetry, which also went badly. A huge thanks to Beth!

From the moment I met Lois, I knew this was the right company to work on my dream kitchen. She listened to what we wanted and turned into reality. From the cladding to the amount of drawers vs doors, no detail was overlooked. Diana made scheduling easy and they were here when expected. Diana was another exceptional team member that made everything flow wonderfully. Chris, the installer, was awesome as well. To finish out the perfect team was Stoney who came in and tweaked everything. The quality of the cabinets are stellar. It was a great partnership. My wife and I were in the area and decided to check out this place since we’re remodeling our kitchen. It was close to closing time so we didn’t expect anyone to go out of their way to help us. However, Beth approached us and was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and provided us a lot of helpful information. She showed us countertop samples and provided us a very fair estimate. We never felt rushed despite it being well past closing time at that point and she didn’t try to pressure us into anything, just seemed genuinely nice! Overall a great experience! HIS Cabinetry absolutely has the best quality, service, and reasonable prices. You name it, they can get it or make it. They have stock cabinets and custom built. Stock cabinets are all wood, no particle board. Thank you, John for your help designing my new kitchen. The measurements were spot on and everything fit easily. Our contractor appreciated the layouts you sent which made installation a breeze. Dianna was wonderful with coordinating the delivery. One set of doors weren’t right and one was slightly off color. She had someone out immediately to assess, and the problems were taken care of to perfection. They also have a huge selection of gorgeous back splash tiles that beat any of the big box stores. They communicated with me frequently throughout the entire process, kept on schedule, and it was a very smooth process from us gutting our kitchen to the final finish. Now if only my microwave would get here as efficiently as HIS got me my cabinets, my kitchen would be finished! Here are some before and after images of how their white, stock Shaker cabinets, Corian countertop, and Elysium backsplash turned an ugly 1970’s kitchen into a clean, modern functional kitchen. Thank you all so much! Best of all, I didn’t have to pay an exorbitant amount for a high quality kitchen. We price shopped at four other kitchen places and none had the same quality for the competitive price. I think I need to bake you cookies in my new kitchen!

From start to finish the process was explained in detail and the employees were fantastic. I got quotes from three separate countertop/cabinet remodel companies and they were the best price and they MAKE their cabinets. They don’t purchase pre-made cabinets. Nathan the salesman was helpful and quick to respond throughout the process whenever we had any questions or updates. The countertops and cabinets came out amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen. Thanks again!!

****Important, Please Read First**** This company will not help you in any of your cabinet needs unless they installed them or you are looking to replace all your cabinets. I called to have someone come out to make adjustments and maybe replace any hinges or parts like that, but was told that is against their policy. I explained that I was willing to pay for someone to come out and do this work, and that when I would want to re-do our kitchen, bathroom, etc. I would already have a company I would want to use. The purpose of this review is to make people aware of their policy. Its a policy that their company may want to re-think due to the money they are leaving on the table and now I know who not to call if I decide to re-do my cabinets. The two ladies I spoke to were very nice and this is in no way their fault, and I understand they were just telling me the policy, they are the reason why I didn't leave a 1 Star. The CEO or Owner should really think about changing their policy, to gain and or to not chase off future customers

The first time I had an issue with the Quartz chipping they came out and took care of the problem. Second time it happened they sent a guy who filled the Quartz chip with another color. Horrible job. The Warranty specialist at that time told me that she would have someone come take care of the poor job done among another chip that occurred as well. She also told me that she would send someone out to look at the slab because she thought I may have gotten a bad one. Her name was Christina. Christina stopped answering my calls and voicemails. Finally I called and got to speak with a new warranty specialist named Alicia and she had no idea about any of this but I explained and she was less than helpful. She said she would speak to her Supervisor and get back to me. That was weeks ago. This Quartz is horrible and I’m so disappointed in them. I hope this helps someone who is buying countertops. Run! Quartz should be able to handle daily cooking and activity better than granite. Not their quality Quartz

Just bought a new home and wanted to change the kitchen sink. Mackenzie helped me through this process. First we thought the existing quartz could be re-cut. The day before quartz removal we discovered existing faucet hole would still show. Mackenzie scrambled to get pricing on a new slab (yes entire slab was needed). New slab ordered, cut and installed in under a week. The service was remarkable, fast and polite. Installation team was quick, professional and cleaned up after themselves! I was treated with just as much respect and importance for my small request as an entire remodel! Love these guys they are the best. See pictures of red Elkay sink.

I had a custom Quartz table designed by John T. and fabricated by their excellent team. The table is now the shining showpiece in our dining room. John was great as he was always in contact with me and ensured that everything was perfect. In fact, everyone at HIS was terrific including the installers. Matthew Murillo our salesman was great! He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Even if he didn't have the answer immediately he found out almost instantly for us regarding anything. Very willing to help us out to the best of his ability and that was greatly appreciated seeing as it we were very indecisive. If you are looking for the highest quality at a great price, you need to check this place out. Not Chinese made cabinets...made right here in their factory! Top notice choices and great sales staff. We ended up with drywood termites exiting from inside the wood of the cabinets. Exterminatior told us that the cabinets had the termites in them from the factory. Drywood termites can take years before they come out. I would make sure when you buy cabinets, they are termite free! Our first installer was very good but then they sent a second installer to finish the job and the guy was a complete rube.

Had the same problem today,It is the largest showroom I have seen in the area so much to see but No ever comes out of their office or stops by to ask if you need help or canI answer any questions? Besides myself 3 other couples walked out. Don't know how good the company is but I would not be inclined to do business with them doubt they pay attention to detail or maybe they have enough of business and don't want anymore??

My husband and I just bought a house. The kitchen is in need of major help. We visited HIS Inc near the end of February. We spoke with Robert, he came up with an estimate, emailed it to us and we where very happy with what we got! At this point we have not closed on the house yet, it was a few days away. Robert wanted us to put a $4700.00 non refundable deposit down, I was not comfortable doing this until it was officially ours. We closed after March first. Robert came to the house to measure everything and get final sizes. Before he measured anything he informs my husband that he made a $3500.00 mistake on the estimate and we had to basically deal with it. Robert informed my husband that if we would of put the deposit down the week before he would of had to deal the the difference but since we didn't it's on us!! This blew the budget out of the water! I am NOT paying for an attitude! He wasn't willing to work with us it almost felt like we where being taken for a ride. How does someone who does estimates for a living not notice a $3500.00 mistake?! Needless to say he did not get a penny from us and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

We moved into our brand new home on 03/19. We paid for a 15 year upgrade protection on our counters. Right away, we noticed the marble was absorbing water which eventually started showing the discoloration around kitchen sink, kitchen counters, and parts of the bathroom counters. After contacting the builder several times, I was finally given the number for H. I. S. Cabinetry, who applied the product. After passing the blame on product provider, they finally sent a technician. Today, I received a call stating stains are not covered by warranty, which it doesn't even make sense because ours are not stains caused by us. This is not a wine stain or a paint stain! We use water and mild soap to clean and always wipe are sinks after using. This is definitely an issue with the product or not applied correctly. This should've be addressed and fixed. I feel as we were taken advantage off and I will have to hire someone to clean and reseal! Very disappointed!

Thought this place was worth a look. Door says Saturday, 7 am-3pm yet no ones there. Walked around to other door (multiple places say custom entrance) and it says Saturday 10-3pm. Still, no ones there. Log on to yelp to read reviews & found out there closed today. If you can't get your hours of operation properly noted on your building, nor can you get the proper Customer Entrances marked,....not shopping there

HIS Cabinets 6200 49th Street No. Saint Petersburg, Fl 33781 Very disappointed. None of the installers want to listen to the customer. They do not even install as directed on the work order. They installed backsplashes in two bathrooms where the work order said no backsplashes. I brought this to their attention and the installer said they are free because of the error. Why did they have backsplashes with them? We had brought tile for the backsplashes to match the tub and shower. The kitchen counter top hangs over into the family room. The back of the top is unfinished. The top of dining area cabinet they had to cut the door trim to install the top. Looks ugly. The sales person said they have craftsmen. None here. Cabinet doors are not in alignment. They said the doors are too big to align. Excuse after excuse. Only now did I check with the BBB. They are rated F. We have sent complaints BBB, Consumer protection, the local licensing board- I can't find a license for them as required. Contacted a lawyer. We are 70 years old and saved for a long time only to taken. We have also contacted 8 On Your Side a local tv station.

HIS Cabinetry installed new cabinets in our home. They did not install as we had contracted. In both bathrooms the cabinets were installed with backsplashes. Contract calls for none. We purchased tile for the backsplashes and were going to install ourselves. To remove the backsplashes damage will be done to the cabinets and walls at additional cost to us. The unfinished back of the kitchen top extends into the family room. It is not like this on the drawings. The installer did not follow the drawings. The cabinet top in the dining area extends into the door trim. The door trim was notched to allow the top to fit. It is not like this on the drawings. We are70 years old and saved a long time to get the cabinets we wanted. All tops are quartz. I have made a complaint the BBB. Made complaint to local licensing board, BBB , Consumer protection. Contacted attorney.
