Amazing quality and customer service from Keith and Jeff. They have amazing turnaround time, and I ultimately chose them amongst other contractors because of how well they communicate. It's a blessing that we chose Hawaii Home Remodel for our tub-to-shower conversion project. The tile work is excellent that several people commended. The team is always punctual, and followed our condominium house rules strictly. Communication was clear and efficient. They finished the whole project in 6 days, which was 2 days earlier than planned. We have been working with different contractor teams on different projects. This is one of the most worry-free experiences we had! One more thing, their price is competitive and they stick with the original quote without pushing change orders on us.

Keith Tse & Jeff Tse are the best...they are trustworthy, easy to communicate with, reliable, and does quality work alongside fair pricing. I'm relieved to have found them and will work with them on any home renovations in the future in Oahu. I had a very old/dated bathroom and wanted to modernize it -- the wonderful team (especially Mr. Chen) from Hawaii Home Remodel was always on time and so respectful throughout the process. Keith, the owner is a trustworthy contractor of his word! We had a dilemma in the design initially to incorporate the chimney hood that we have purchased. Keith gave us his assurance and worked with our designer to give us a beautiful end result within our budget! Keith and his brother Jeff were very responsive and accommodating. They completely renovated my mother's condo master bathroom including tub to shower conversion. Keith helped us with choosing cabinets, tiles, etc.. The bathroom looks great! Photos year 2021 attached. Then several months later they did smaller job at my condo for two bathrooms. He already knew that this condo had a form for Application for Unit Alteration to be completed and approved before work started. This helped me decide what to renovate. It turned out just right. I was looking to add a peninsula to my current kitchen but I had a budget and wanted to get it done asap. After talking to multiple remodeling companies, Hawaii Home Remodel came to the rescue. Keith and his staff was amazing and the work they got done in 2 days is amazing. Yes, they installed a peninsula, new counter tops, AND install a waterfall edge counter. These guys are amazing! We used this business before about two years ago. They renovated our two upstairs bathrooms and we were totally pleased with the results. We had updated our main bath then enlarged our master bath. We doubled its size converted the tub to a walk-in shower with a bench so we could wash our dogs in the shower with a special hand held shower at a lower level near the bench. My wife wanted aseperate makeup vanity with a special lit mirror like we saw in New York found it locally so Keith installed it. Finally a barnyard door to save space. We now decided to do everything else in August so we called Keith and he was able to schedule and complete it before thanksgiving. We upgraded our downstairs bath and laundry room enlarged our kitchen changed the lights throughout the house took down the popcorn ceiling and install crown molding and painted the whole interior and finally changed the doors and bedroom closet doors. We did the flooring change to wood downstairs and carpeting upstairs through a flooring company due to warranties. Keith had his brother Jeff I charge of our project. They were very responsive to our questions and concerns throughout. We were totally satisfied with the final results. We would recommend anyone who are thinking of renovation to give Keith a call. If we ever need to do any renovations I would use Keith again. Everyone that has seen it are totally impressed. My wife is totally satisfied with her kitchen her farmhouse sink the porcelain type had to be ordered but it makes the kitchen. We have a 10 foot island and a 24 foot kitchen with all the lights and quartz backsplash she has dream kitchen. We would like to thank Keith and Jeff and their crew that they made our vision come true.

We called Keith to do our project and got it finished the way we wanted on time and to our satisfaction. We used his company to do our two upstairs bathrooms two years ago. They came out perfectly. We used part of our closet to enlarge our master bath. This gave my wife her makeup area and made a large shower with a sitting area for which we can wash our two dogs. Perfect for our needs it made a tiny bathroom into a large suite bath. In August of this year I made a decision to do the rest of our house. I called Keith to see if it was possible he said he could do it. We had our kitchen enlarged,our downstairs bath/laundry room updated, all of our lighting redone, our downstairs ceiling popcorn removed and crown molding installed, all of our doors changed including our closets and all of our interiors repainted. We had to do some work we recarpeted, put wood flooring chose new formal lighting, new appliances ,air conditioning our whole house and lastly ordered a farmers porclelin sink which was a wife wish. Keith worked with so everything was finished on time. We started in the end of September and finished before thanksgiving we even took a vacation in the middle of November. His brother Jeff was the project head for our project . He was very responsive to our questions and request throughout our project. Their crews worked hard to complete the work on time. Anything that needed to be corrected was corrected with no problem. Since this was the second project we used Keith for I knew it would be done right. We had have some thing minor ones to be fixed on our first project and they were fixed quickly and to our satisfaction so when we had a project to be done a big one we made only one call and that was done to Keith and we were happy to have him do it and complete it on our schedule. If I had any other project to be done I would use him again. Some of our friends are looking at possible renovating and those that saw our final results are so impressed. It's like we moved into a new place. All I can say is thank you to Keith Jeff his foreman whose name I forgot and Bright that did so much work on our project. If you have a project you should definitely give them a call.

Hawaii Home Remodel just finished a complete renovation of my bathroom. I am a senior and have lived in Hawaii my entire life; I have worked with many construction firms and I can honestly say that Hawaii Home Remodel is the best of them all. They have a great network of quality suppliers of bathroom fixtures, tile and cabinets and I got everything I wanted at a reasonable price. They are patient, efficient, skilled and worked very hard and with long hours to complete the job exactly to my wishes. During this Covid 19 pandemic, they were respectful wearing facemasks at all times and use of hand sanitizers. They take great pride in their work in making sure that everything is perfect before the job ends. The master bathroom remodel is finally done, and I am in heaven! I could live in this bathroom. Keith and his crew were so great to work with. They were one of 3 I received quotes from and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The pricing was good and the work itself is definitely 5 stars. We worked with Keith and his team to do a partial remodel of our bathroom. They replaced a tub/shower combo with a new walk-in shower, removed an interior wall, replaced all the shower and floor tiles, and installed new shower hardware and doors. They also repainted and moved some of the electrical switches. Keith was easy to work with, provided a reasonable quote, and helped connect us with local companies for our tile and shower hardware selections. His team completed the work in less time than originally estimated, and did a very professional, high-quality job. In addition to the quality of the work, they also did a great job cleaning up every day and at the end of the project. I highly recommend this company.

After 30 years, it was time to remodel our 2 bath areas. We wanted to convert one area to a walk in shower and replace the other with a new tub. Called Hawaii Home Remodel for an estimate. Keith Tse was very easy to work with and gave us a reasonable price. Work on the shower started right away. One day to demo the old bathtub area and configure pipes after which they made sure to clean the area of any debris. Had to wait a week because I ordered a shower pan rather than a tile floor. As soon as the pan was ready, HHR installed, and put up the cement board and waterproofed the next day. They even did a great job building the niche. The tiles were next followed by grouting and installation of doors. Keith and crew were sure to ask me about my preferences as the work progressed and were very accomodating. Cleaned up everyday and worked thru the Holidays to finish. As soon as shower was completed, work started on the other bath. Finish work was excellent. Installed moulding to match floor and competed touch up painting. Keith and Chen were always available to answer my questions. Would highly recommend them.

I had some water damage throughout my home. Keith and his team came out and inspected the damage and gave me an estimate that was LOWER than the other company I was researching. His team was actually doing more work as well. They all were VERY respectful, hard workers and did an excellent job replacing an entire bathroom vanity. Can't say enough good things about them, they are truly customer oriented and do what is right, not what is easier or cheaper, and always to your satisfaction. All of their staff were super hard working, honest very professional and respectful. They totally redid our kitchen including cabinets, counters, window and floors they also built a new pantry/closet with shelves. They also removed all of my yucky popcorn ceilings, painted and patched all walls and replaced all flooring in my living room, dining and family rooms. Everything was done... Then we made a last minute addition of redoing our bathroom, which they managed to fit into their schedule and complete just 5 days later. Amazing. Omg I'm sooo overdue in writing this review. I decided to go with HHR to remodel my kitchen last yr. Found them on Yelp and read all their positive reviews. I was sold! Keith, the project Mgr was very easy to work with. He was quick in responding to my email, and scheduled for an estimate in several days. I had some of my own ideas, but Keith came up with" better" ideas to update my outdated kitchen.. He gave me a very reasonable estimate ( I was happy!!) and a 3D picture of the work they were going to do. His crew was awesome. Very professional and efficient. Keith was also accommodating if I needed some last minute changes to the work . They finished my kitchen in a little over a week. I'm so pleased with their work. I've already recommended my friends to call Keith because I know they will not disappoint ! I'll be calling them to do my two bathrooms soon.

We had a very loose vision and layout idea, but Keith helped us to create a beautiful design and the bathroom looks truly spectacular! The project was done ahead of schedule and stayed within budget. 100% recommend Hawaii Home Remodel. We recently used them for an entire kitchen remodel (whole kitchen and flooring removed to drywall, some parts to studs). It was a pleasure to work with Keith (project manager/designer). Keith initially came to our home to hear what we wanted and take measurements. He later emailed us 3D renderings of our new kitchen design. After a second meeting at our home we ironed out all of the design, including implementing many of Keith's suggestions. Keith went above and beyond our expectations, in particular, managing the little details of the project as they popped up. The most impressive aspect of Hawaii Home Remodel was the schedule. I hired Keith after reading the yelp reviews. From the start he was efficient and easy to work with, giving me solutions to what I felt were "problems". Being this was my first renovation of a small rental unit I was not very knowledgeable and was a little nervous. I appreciated Keith's take charge and can do attitude. We are extremely pleased with the work Keith and his foreman Xiao has done with our home. There are many roofing companies that can easily change shingles on a roof. But our home in Mililani had extensive termite damage. Repairing termite damage can be challenging and must be done correctly. We are so pleased with the repairs done along with our new energy efficient roof. My neighbors and realtor are in awe. Thank you so much!! Very easy to work with. We hired Keith and his team for a full apartment renovation. The place was really run down and so there was a lot of work to be done: floors, walls, and ceilings throughout; all outlets and light fixtures; new ceiling fans and window a/c; entire kitchen (cabinets, countertop, all appliances); bathroom vanity and shower; some closet conversion, replace the water heater, and repair/replacement for windows and screens. When we initially contacted another contractor and did a walk-through and estimation, there was a lot of "we won't do this", "we won't do that" -- there were numerous items which required fixing which the contractor said they would not do. This was surprising to me, as this is the job of the contractor -- to manage a team to do the work that needs to be done. I don't have the time to deal with and manage a handful of contractors to get the work done, as I have a full-time job of my own. By contrast, Keith and his team have a "can-do" attitude. For everything I asked them to do, they said "yes we can do that", "no problem". This was a refreshing change from the previous contractor. And the cost was very reasonable, as the total price he quoted me came in around the same as the previous contractor, but included a lot more. I mostly communicated with Keith by email as that's most convenient for my circumstances. Keith always responded promptly, and raised concerns to me promptly. In some cases, I wished for a little more detail or he didn't fully answer my questions, so there is some room for improvement there. But I was always pleased with his responsiveness. Keith and his team worked quickly, and despite us having to expand the scope of work due to some unforeseen circumstances, they were still able to complete the job within the timeframe they estimated. I could see that getting the job done on time was important to them. Towards the end of the project, we did a walk-through and raised several concerns. Keith and his team were prompt in remedying those concerns to our satisfaction. When the job was completed, Keith's team cleaned up after themselves and left the work site looking like a new apartment. I hope to use Hawaii Home Remodel for future contracting work. Thanks!

We found Hawaii home remodel on yelp and decided to use them because they are very organized and the prices were affordable. Keith is very knowledgeable about the work he does. He came over with his workers and took pictures of the whole kitchen. We told him what kind of look we wanted and he went back and made a Digital picture of how he wanted to remodel our kitchen. We loved his design so we decided to go with his company. They came every day I worked very hard to complete our kitchen in one month. Now we have our dream kitchen and the remodel made our house look so much better. Thank you Hawaii home remodel for all your hard work. We still have to do your bathrooms and we are going to use them as well to remodel our bathrooms when the time comes.

I just completed my third kitchen and bath remodel (all in different homes) and hands down Hawaii Home Remodel is the best contractor I've worked with. Keith is good with communication (returns phone calls and emails) and was accommodating to our changes when we opened the wall to some surprises. They are licensed and insured contractors--and came up with the proper paperwork form my HOA very quickly and easily. His initial pricing was very competitive and the add-ons we had during the work were very fairly priced. His crew was on-time and at full size throughout the remodel. Xiao, the foreman, was great to work with--he came up with some suggestions for changes that really improved the final product. The quality was excellent. Work was completed on-time and on-budget. The final items were addressed in a timely manner to our complete satisfaction. I've already recommended him to a friend and would highly recommend this crew to anyone doing home remodeling. It was a pleasure working with them and when I finally decide how I want my living room lighting I'll have them back to do the work!

After 9 years in our townhouse, we finally decided to update our kitchen/half bath-laundry area. We attended the BIA convention first to get ideas and meet possible contractors. From that event last August, we called a few to get some quote. Unfortunately, the first two contractors were not that helpful at all. Bad PR in short. So i looked through Yelp and read the reviews of clients/customers of contractors. From what I read in the reviews of people here for Hawaii Home Remodel, I felt good that I somehow sent an email to give it a try. Keith was very quick in acknowledging my request to meet and discuss our plans. From then on, our kitchen project went well. The pricing were reasonable and the outcome was great. We are now enjoying our new travertine floor tiles - it's actually me that is loving it that much as it is now very easy to clean unlike the old tiles. We also love the new cabinets and under-cabinet lightings. The kitchen looks way brighter due to the LED lights we had installed. The indoor/outdoor doors that we picked looked very nice after installation as well. Thank you to Xiao and his co-workers who worked in our kitchen. You guys did a great job. As for the new vanity/sink in the half bath, it is way much better than a pedestal sink. I will be posting before and after photos of the kitchen.

Keith Tse came to look at bathroom remodel. He never got back to us with the promised quote (supposed to be sent in a week). After two weeks sent an email, then called. Still no word. We would appreciate it if he had responded to us even if to say they could not do the job. That way, we could have moved on sooner and schedule our remodeling with another company. We are disappointed that this business doesn't value customer's time.

set an appointment for a consultant with Keith Tse, confirmed through email. I, as the potential customer followed up with an email the night before to confirm our appointment but received no reply. The day of the appointment (Feb 4th at 3pm), he was a no show. I did not receive a call so I sent a text at 3:19pm. Got a reply that he was running late. I cancelled the consultation because it would have run past the hour allotted that time that they are require which was to be at 3pm. There was no call to tell me that he's running late. At least a courtesy call would have been nice. I had a 9am consultation that morning and that contractor text me the night before and text me the day of that he was on his way and was there 10 minutes before the schedule time. I understand that everyone is busy but just a courtesy call would have made this situation better.

Tough to rate when no one gets back to you with a quote! The only good thing I can say is Keith was on time for the meeting. During the meeting he seemed rushed when looking at the project then checking his phone, like he had to leave. Said he would get back to me in a week with quote, never heard from him again. Maybe this was a project too tough for you to get 5 stars?

As the first time customer called to visit the store, the person answered the phone was cold and unfriendly, I said I would like to visit your store, she immediately rejected my request and said you can't not, you have to summit your request from our website. I asked can I choose the time to come, she said " No" " some one in our store will call you for our available appointment ". O, My, what kind of store has a such super big attitude that doesn't allow customers to visit their store and have to accept their availability if want to visit their store. What in the world your business is so dominant and control any customer want to visit your store have to receive your grand permission!
