This company is a rip off, they sold me completely damaged countertops and refused to replace them and they never finished the cabinet work. Stay away from this company, they will rip your guts out and then leave you when you say something is wrong with their work, they completely butchered my kitchen and had to do a redo of the entire kitchen…the owner Keith is a liar and cheat and the girls that work for him Fernanda and Carolina will lie just to make a sale…BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE CHEAP BECAUSE THEY DON’T DO THE WORK PROPERLY AND THEN THEY LEAVE AND NEVER FIXED ANYTHING AND WON’T ANSWER MY CALLS

Wow What a Beautiful New Kitchen!! The pricing was super affordable! and the service was outstanding Thank you Kip for all your help and patience! This kitchen was delivered already assembled and as soon my contractor installed it we called for the countertop measurement, they came out the next day (Tuesday) to measure and installed the stunning sparkle quartz top on Friday! Pierre is the Best!!!! Ask for him. We bought a home during the mist of the pandemic & this was the ONLY HONEST place out there. We went to every cabinet place you can imagine. We got quoted the most insane prices for simple shaker cabinets. Not here they were extremely honest and their prices, YOU CAN NOT BEAT!!!!! Their turn around time was Amazing! I’m so grateful I was made aware of this company. Shopping was easy with a generous selection of cabinetry styles and countertop materials to choose from. Blake was very helpful assisting me in finding the right cabinets to fill my small space for a new storage/bar area in our living room. Everything arrived in good condition, and on time. NOT having to wait 6 to 8 weeks for delivery for the cabinets was fabulous! The countertop installation was so quick and smoothly done. My contractor, who assembled and installed the cabinets, stated they were of good quality material which made me happy. One small and short delay with the glass doors was easily solved with Blake’s help. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. There was no high pressure sales pitch which made the experience fun, not stressful!

We recently remodeled our kitchen and used HPCC for our cabinets and counters. They did a phenomenal job and people are blown away when we tell them what we paid. Ask for 'Morris' - he was great and became a regular at our house (our dogs love him.) We kept the same footprint as before but HPCC did a much smarter design and we are shocked how much more space we have. I cannot recommend Morris and team enough!!

I am absolutely in love with my kitchen makeover! I called Andrea with a wish that I had been told by home depot was unrealistic. I wanted my kitchen done before Christmas and I contacted her for the first time the first week of December. She gave me a quote over the phone we came out and picked out our quartz and my countertop was installed within 2 weeks! Andrea made our kitchen come alive! I have mixed feelings about this company. I have some good things to say about them and some not that great. Lets start with the good things. There are nice people, they deliver in a timely manner and provide nice work based on a template their employee creates on the site and have you signed on. And this is what really disappointed me about this nice people. The person who created the templated was, in my opinion, incompetent, and although we explained to him time and again how the kitchen should like like, and provided measurements and drawing to show exactly where the fridge will be; yet the guy didn't get it and instead of cutting the granite flat/ starlight where the fridge should be, they cut it half round. As a result my kitchen guy had to move the cabinets few inches to the left and install a stiller. It cost me additional $270 to fix it. Not a huge amount but money is money and it is annoying. Plus it doesn't look great; so bottom line, the nice honest people in this company deliver a nice job except that it is not what you asked them to do; and when you complain they say ...well you signed on the template. Sure I signed because I was relying on their professional wisdom and for their guy to tell me how it should be but obviously he wasn't capable so we ended up with a kitchen that doesn't look the way we wanted. With that said; and if you are a layman who doesn't understand in countertops don't work with them. They are cheep compare to others and deliver but you don't get what you envision your kitchen should look like. What can I say...disappointing

Blake helped us and when we asked to see more he told us the selection was much better at the warehouse. We met Kip and he showed us around and were amazed at he the selection that we saw. What impressed me was his in house fabrication and computer cutting machine. We ordered and were told a delivery date. No delay or story that the cutting was delayed because of too many orders. They delivered on time and the fit and finish was perfect. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Great company to deal with 5 ⭐️!!!!

I contacted this company from the internet and spoke to Josh. Very nice and professional and gave me his cell phone as I was contacting him for my 85 year old mom who lives in Delray while I live in NY. He said send her in and I will take care of her. He did everything even though during our purchase he had to work remotely due to the virus. The only bump in the road was either the person who measured or the person who fabricated came up short and they had to re-fabricate and redeliver however they took care of it promptly and professionally and even took care of the plumber as I had already had the plumber on the original delivery date. Once installed they look great and I have one happy mom. Thanks Josh and your team.

Called in and Keith came same day for an estimate. Keith was amazing to work with! He listened to what we want, showed us options and knew exactly what will make us fall in love. His installes were absolutely exact, precise and detailed, as they did their they own kitchen. The counters are gorgeous, cut amazingly perfect and we are so pleased with the results. Kip and the entire team at HPC are absolutely the best. They do not see problems, only solutions. When I wanted to have a large lab installed in my second story office up about 40 stairs, they said no problem. They brought out a crane in the rain to install my new conference table - absolutely stunning. The best crew in the industry, all very professional, hands on and there to get the job done correctly and professionally the first time. Half Price installed a kitchen quartz countertop about 1 1/2 years ago and did a great job. However, I noticed I started to get a crack near the corner on an L shaped portion of the kitchen. Within a few weeks it got much worse so I took a picture and when in to see Kennet at the Ft. Lauderdale location. He was excellent, indicating that it was very strange for that to happen ( I never had a problem with the 4 other Kitchens I had done with them), but he began immediately trying to locate a matching slab. He thought he had a piece in Ft. Lauderdale. He did a template and we got ready for the re- install. We then get a cal that the piece he had in Ft. Lauderdale wasn't good, but he was bringing in a new matching piece from his Delray facility. He did that and re- installed it the same week... ALL WITH NO CHARGE AND NEVER SAYING ANYTHING EXCEPT SORRY AND THEY WOULD MAKE IT RIGHT. I say GREAT customer service and way to stand behind your work and product. Morris made our kitchen and bath renovations about as simple and quick as possible! This company delivers on every level. We ordered the cabinets and granite and within a week cabinets were installed. Quickly thereafter, granite was measured and installed a week later. Let's say our kitchen and baths were done in less than 2 weeks from meeting Morris. Who does that? THEY do! We recommended this company to several friends who are thinking about renovations. Contacted Genesis at half price countertops and after picking stone on site we figured how much we needed and left a deposit Rocky came and measured after cabinet installation made a wood template of a large island and on day of install Al and crew did a GREAT JOB with the install and even fixed a problem they missed during fabrication and installed my kitchen stove. We had an odd sized bathroom in our condo remodel to deal with that required a custom fit counter and sink. Our contractor quoted us 3,900 but that way out of the budget. We ended up purchasing a custom cabinet at Lowes and a custom countertop here for a fraction of what the contractor quoted and couldn't be happier. The service - from picking out the counter in the warehouse to the templating to the install was perfect. No issues at all. And they showed up when they they said they would, which a rare thing in a South Florida.

I have worked with half price countertops on quite a few remodels and they always turn out amazing. I have never shown a counter to a client who has not been amazed at how beautiful they have turned out. I have always dealt with Morris who has been extremely pleasant and has gone out of his way to accomodate with pricing and time frames I need for my clients. I will continue to use them on every project. I have gotten many other quotes and tried other companies in the past that did not meet the standards he has shown. We wanted to replace a glass top coffee table with granite, quartz or marble. Unfortunately, in our area of the country, material in the thinner 2 cm thickness is hard to find, and that's what we needed. We had a trip planned to Miami, and I learned that Florida sells a lot of 2cm material. I got on the phone and talked with several countertop companies, looking to see who could commit to getting this project done in 6 days, and might have a suitable piece of material in the boneyard (I only wanted a light color, preferably white marble or quartz). Half Price Countertops was MUCH more open to doing this job for us than other companies I talked to, and assured me that they had a few pieces in the boneyard that I could choose from. We stopped in on our drive to Miami and that they were even nicer in person. They heard what we wanted, and quickly suggested we go over to the quartz warehouse about 2 blocks away. He quickly showed us 2 pieces, both of which would have worked, and one that was quartz and spectacular! He worked with the owner to get a price that we could live with (the material was better than most), and committed in writing to have the job completed on the day we drove home. They actually completed the job a day ahead of time, and helped us load this thing into the trunk (NOT an easy task). The table top is perfect and beautiful, and I'm delighted to have found these folks.

Half Price Countertops is a no frills warehouse in Fort Lauderdale selling slabs of granite, quartz, and quartzite. I think we ended up checking them out because they were open on a Sunday and we were pleasantly surprised! There was a nice variety of product and the service was excellent. I don't remember the name of our salesperson, only that I was amazed that he was still in high school but so poised and knowledgeable about countertops! We decided on a quartzite slab for our kitchen and got a very reasonable price. Half Price Countertops cuts, fabricates, and installs the slab. We had to wait for our cabinets to be installed first, but as soon as they were done we called, and Half Price Countertops was immediately ready to start the installation process. They did a beautiful job and the kitchen counters look amazing! We did have one small glitch where our dishwasher did not fit after installation. We called the company and spoke to the owner. He said he wanted to make sure we were completely happy and within a couple of days someone was there to fix the issue. We are extremely happy with our kitchen countertop and I would highly recommend this company: Great product, service, and value!

We called them to say that our cabinets were installed and we were ready for counters and they were able to come the next day to install. They came on time and were very professional and meticulous. We are super happy with our counters ! Because our bathroom vanity was not ready at time of kitchen install, they promised they would come back to install the bathroom counter. We called when we were ready and they came right away to measure and then set up date/time for install. They finished today and we could not be happier.

Can't be beat...trust me I've paid too much for cheap looking quartz in the past. SELECTION? Anything you can dream up, they have. SHOWROOM? Not super fancy, but I don't need fancy. I need good quality, right price and good people and that's what you get here. CUSTOMER SERVICE? The best. Everyone is knowledgable about countertops and installation. Always aiming to please and eager get the job done right, the first time. QUALITY? Yet to find an issue with it after 3 years and half a dozen installations. PEOPLE? Working with Half Price Countertops was a real pleasure. After doing a lot of homework and asking for many prices no one could beat their price nor selection. I was initially looking for a Quartz counter top and through them I discovered Quartzite. The beautiful Mont Blanc. Working with them felt "SEAMLESS" They are super fast, and their installers are very neat and courteous. They by far have the hardest part of the job. I could not be happier about the interaction and service that I received from this company! As in any remodel, things may go wrong. And unfortunately they did a few times! I purchased 5 slabs of gorgeous Volakas marble from another company and signed off on a few cracked ones. The last slab I had cracked completely on their last day of install. Through some heartache I found more and they went above and beyond expectations to appease me as a customer. The owner Keith was respectful, caring, and even personally came out to see the job. The fabricators were nice, knowledgeable and excellent at their work. The front desk staff, Genesis especially was a pleasure to speak with. Saw them at Home Show and decided to check them out. Had several estimates for countertops and they beat them all. Met Keith and looked at lots of choices. Picked our countertops and signed contracts. They sent a team to measure and remove old tops which was efficient and did a great job. Tops were ready in one week, sinks were attached, holes drilled outside to not make a mess. They found some problems and stated to do the job right they would take the backsplashes back to the shop to be cut perfectly. They leveled one of my cabinets as an extra. They were back in one day and completed the job. All look great, fit great and they cleaned up the house before leaving. Very excellent workmanship, cared for the job they were doing to make it look great, and they did. Would highly recommend them. They did four Quartz countertops.

I needed a new countertop for a small vanity in my bathroom. This was the only company that was able to order the Quartz countertop I wanted by the sq. ft. At other companies, I could only select from remnants. They also were able to install it within a week, which was much faster than other companies. They did a great job on the installation. Overall we had a good experience with Half Price Countertops. Morris was helpful and quick to draw up our kitchen layout and answer questions. We are very happy with the quality of their products...love our quartz countertops and cabinets. However we would NOT recommend their General Contractor, Mike. Our 2 week job took 8 weeks and we had many small problems that had to be fixed along the way. There were a couple days that they did not show up and Mike "fired" a crew member mid way through our job which prolonged it even more.

Very professional organization from supplier to fabricator Keith was very helpful in selecting out slab of Quartz (White Crystal) Two days later Marty arrived at the house to take template of the vanity tops. The office staff processed the order quickly and efficiently I was then contacted by the installer Emil who then installed them 3 days later Installer is key and he is the BEST they come. Later that day after the installation I received a call from one of the principals Joe asking how everything went. Outstanding. The whole process was a great experience. I will certainly recommend them to anyone who needs a solid surface countertop. We were jipped and you were probably too. the inside of the countertop is filled with wood. So they charge double for the slab being thick, but it isn't really. They also didn't finish around the countertop with silicone so water was going down behind the countertops for weeks until my dad came by and just filled it with silicone. Experience overall was good but after installation I see why they charge less than others, the job isn't done. Photos are a bit off because I decided to photograph after we started filling it with caulking.

Purchased quartz countertops from this place. I was quoted 2 prices for the same item by different workers. Prices don't seem set and there's definitely added cost - such as a $200 cut out for the sink fee. Also while measuring for countertops the worker left a mess! There was dry glue and pieces of wood stuck in ALL my cabinets!!! Installation guys were pretty friendly and quick! Typical warehouse sales place with standard prices.

I love my new countertop, saved a few dollars, but was it worth the emotional abuse I received from Joe? I don't think so. I was told by the salesman to go to Pompano, an hour away, the day before they installed my countertop and back splashes to lay it out with them to ensure the veins flowed together naturally. When we got there, Joe started yelling at me, calling me a liar, saying no one had told me they would match the countertop and backsplash. I asked him why was he screaming at me, and he replied he wasn't screaming, that's the way he speaks. At this point, I had already paid half my money so there was nothing to do but hope for the best. The next day, whenever a problem arose as they installed the stones, Joe screamed at me two more times over the phone. Once when I was unhappy that they took off my molding under the cabinets and refused to put them back. Then he had the nerve to scream at me telling me it was not his fault the counter he created was longer than the backsplash. It was the fault of the previous counter, not the fault of his employee who measured for the template. At that point, I was so shaken, I almost cried. I was actually afraid to call him to tell him that the installer removed and did not replace the strap that held the dishwasher in place and that the stove stuck out on one side. I simply paid more money to have someone come to my house the next day and take care of the things the installer forgot to do. I wonder if Moe would have been so abusive to a man? Anyway,the countertops look great but when you spend money you should be treated with respect.

I have mixed feelings about this company. I have some good things to say about them and some not that great. Lets start with the good things. There are nice people, they deliver in a timely manner and provide nice work based on a template their employee creates on the site and have you signed on. And this is what really disappointed me about this nice people. The person who created the templated was, in my opinion, incompetent, and although we explained to him time and again how the kitchen should like like, and provided measurements and drawing to show exactly where the fridge will be; yet the guy didn't get it and instead of cutting the granite flat/ starlight where the fridge should be, they cut it half round. As a result my kitchen guy had to move the cabinets few inches to the left and install a stiller. It cost me additional $270 to fix it. Not a huge amount but money is money and it is annoying. Plus it doesn't look great; so bottom line, the nice honest people in this company deliver a nice job except that it is not what you asked them to do; and when you complain they say ...well you signed on the template. Sure I signed because I was relying on their professional wisdom and for their guy to tell me how it should be but obviously he wasn't capable so we ended up with a kitchen that doesn't look the way we wanted. With that said; and if you are a layman who doesn't understand in countertops don't work with them. They are cheep compare to others and deliver but you don't get what you envision your kitchen should look like. What can I say...disappointing

Beyond terrible communications between them company, the fabricator Milenia, and with me. Milenia's professionalism is questionable. I will update with progress and details, my patience is thin.

Super mixed feelings on this review as the people to deal with were incredibly nice however disorganized is an understatement. I am literally not exaggerating when I am stating that it was like pushing a rock up a hill the entire experience. From missing measurements, to no one having any clue what the last person did was beyond frustrating. The subcontractors even stated to me how they were struggling with the office communication. Every step of the process was a disaster in communication. Now I understand they were moving warehouses or had recently opened a new one... but certainly that cannot excuse the amount of pure communication issues and lack of follow up and follow through there was through the whole process. The guys that work there are so nice which is the only reason that the review is not a 1--- and I would have still given them a 4 if it would not have been for the last man I had to speak with on the phone who had literally 0 customer service skills and should be banned from answering the phone at anytime. The quality of work however of the installers and the guys actually doing the fabrication were great to deal with --- there is so much potential here for Keith and his guys but I just want to go help them get organized because if they could just follow through and communicate a system with each other this would be a stellllllllaaaarr company to work with.

While the product is nice and well-priced, the installation was a mess. I had to spend hundreds of dollars having the damaged walls fixed. Obviously, either their measurements were not correct or the installers were inept. I wouldn't recommend this company.

The stone is authentic. Don't expect pretty showroom...or salesmen as there are none. There is little communication from them regarding when someone will come to measure or when install will occur. The guys who install are not the best of their trade, sloppy and don't clean up after themselves. The stone is authentic and cheap... You get what you pay for

I purchased New quartz countertops for my kitchen salesman was great next step went to fabrication picked out stone and two days later was supposed to be delivered well that didn't happened told us the machine was broken and they were cutting it while we talked 1 hour later we get a call they're coming back to measure again wow two days later they send the installation people we inspect the counter before bringing it in and it had a long crack sent it back they said they would fix it next day they come to install they did a good job installing but it has water stains from sitting outside which was to be polished never done can't get anyone to come out and rectify the problem called numerous times no body calls back

I drive to their location on Andrews Ave today to get a price for a very small 38 x 22 quartz vanity top. After selecting a small simple white remanent from their lot, the 3/4 inch thick piece priced out at $550 + installation. That's absurd for a remanent with very standard measurements. Not a value and excessively overpriced. Be warned. Won't be doing business with this company. Which purports to be " 1/2 Price countertops".

I have waited almost a year to write this review to let my emotions calm down. I ordered my countertop at half price counters. Material of countertop appears fine. My issues are with fabrication. I paid extra to have the underside edges of counter polished. NOT DONE. also paid extra to have the overhang polished on underside. NOT DONE. I ALSO paid extra to have a bull-nose edge.NOT DONE. I also paid extra to have a crane bring my counter to my third floor apt so I would not have a seam. This was done. ( the only way they could get counter in). When I called owner to tell him my disappointment he came to my apt and looked at counter. Acknowledged all that wasn't done and his expert opinion was to paint it. Meanwhile I am stuck with an unfinished product. I had been looking forward to this counter for a long time. I am so disappointed. IF you are looking for any kind of honesty, integrity and pride in craftmanship this is not the company

I'm not happy about having to write this review. I usually write reviews when I am happy with the service provided. Be aware they do take a non refundable deposit to come out and measure. Unfortunately my experience with half price Countertops was not a positive experience. I called on a Monday and got the owner Kip on the phone. I explained the job and scheduled a appointment for the measurements and template to be done two days later on Wednesday. Wednesday came with no one showing up. I called the office several times and they could find no record of my appointment I then scheduled a new appointment for Saturday the same week. Same thing happened again after waiting until 2pm no call and no one shows up. I call and get the owners brother on the phone who assured me he will get in touch with his Kip and get it sorted out. I get a call back with excuses about the template guys being out sick and get a new appointment set up for Monday. At this point, because I already waited the full week for them to come out I decided to stay with them because getting another company to come out would take even more time. Monday comes and they finally arrive. Right away the attitude from the one guy, Danny who's doing the measuring is off. He pretty much tells me that the counter I want won't work. Tells me I need to hire a carpenter to adjust cabinets etc. I also wanted them to measure for a new counter at my bbq area outside. Again I was told that this was not something they could do. They leave, without making any templates. I expected a follow up call from their office. Nothing. Guess the deposit I put down for the job was good enough for them. Ended up hiring another company. They did an amazing job. Did the templates one day and came back a 5 days later and did a beautiful installation.

I signed a contract with this company to replace my kitchen countertop and backsplash. I paid a deposit of $250 at the time of signing the contract. Skip Group (the owner) assured me that the countertop would be installed before the end of the following week. before leaving, I took pictures of the selected marble slab and under-counter sink that I chose. This was the only pleasant interaction I had with them. The first promise was broken when they failed to send the templater to measure the kitchen. I had to make several calls to get the templater to come over to the house. When he finally arrived, he did not have any paperwork or information about the job. They simply sent him over as a gesture to shut me up. Two weeks went by after the template was measure and I did not hear a thing from HPC. So I did some follow-up over the phone. Every telephone call ended with a rude promise to call me back. Of course no one ever called as promised. Eventually, I gave up and requested a refund of my deposit. The prices may be low, but what good is that if you the customer service is abysmal.

I am very hesitant to leave a poor review for any business because I understand the effect it can have on the bottom line. In fact I often choose to never leave a bad review (even if necessary) because Yelp is too important to my business for me to leave a permanent stain on someone else's. In this situation it is exceedingly necessary that I do not keep the horrendous experience I just had with half price countertops to my self. Facts: 1: Half Price Countertops quoted me a great price (based on exact measurements to the inch taken by an engineer) that conveniently went right out the window as soon as they measured themselves. They quoted me $300 less than the final total. I patiently accepted the additional charges and did not raise a complaint. 2: Half Price Countertops only was responsible for cutting and delivering the slab. No install. They called me on a Tuesday to guarantee delivery for Wednesday. On Wednesday they call me to inform me they cut the wrong slab (no apology) and mine would not be ready until Thursday. I already arranged for two installers on my team to be ready and available all Wednesday (they were pulled off other job sites). I patiently accepted the additional day despite its high level of inconvenience to many parties and did not raise a complaint. 3: Half Price Countertops delivered a dirty, improperly cut, and not reinforced slab which was not ready for install. The original salesman, the owner, and the measuring guy, all indicated the slab would be delivered completely reinforced with ply wood and completely ready for install. The slab that arrived had no plywood reinforcement and is currently covered in dirt and glue. I patiently accepted the dirty uncut and not reinforced slab in a calm demeanor and called the office to raise some complaints about how poorly my customer service experience was going. 4: When I called the office I spoke with a woman named Genesis and her boss the owner, I presume. When I spoke with them about how my customer service experience was going I was disappointed but not surprised when my concerns and questions were ignored and disregarded. 5: The owner of Half Price Countertops is as unprofessional as you are going to ever come across. He is the reason that blue collar professionals have a bad name and his lack of decorum, and hospitality to someone spending significant sums at his business is astounding to say the least. He is a "telephone tough guy" who raises his voice to dissatisfied customers on the phone and belittles those he disagrees with. If you are reading this sentence right now than it is not too late for you to never do business with this man or this company you will SINCERELY regret it, as I have.

I should have read the reviews before dealing with this company. They are the WORST, most unprofessional, unresponsive business that I have yet to deal with. They are quick to take your deposit but then they make you wait and when you call to find out the status of your order, they don't answer their phones or Kip Grout, the owner of the company, does not give any concrete answers. It's been almost a month now and I haven't heard a thing about my order. I'm going to get my deposit back from them and deal with another company but I'm going to check the reviews first. So if you are considering dealing with this company DON'T. You will be sorry if you do!
