Great product selection and hands down the best prices around. I’ve shopped around and was surprised to find better pricing in Vancouver than in Portland.
My sales rep Sam was extremely helpful in picking out products that were the best values and the installation crew were clean, professional, and did great work.
I highly recommend them.

I am very happy with the work from the Great Floors team. I purchased an older home this year that needed some key areas to update. I worked with Clem and team on the kitchen area and he truly helped bring this vision to life of maximizing storage with the layout I had and matching my quirky color strategy.
I could not be happier with the final product and Clem was extremely helpful and available at all times keeping me up to date on timelines, mock ups and color execution. Below are some before and after photos to truly show the night and day difference they made to maximize storage, but give the house an energetic mid century feel.

Unfortunately, the experience getting LVP installed by Great Floors was stressful and frustrating.
The communication was poor and status updates were always false - it was like James and the installers weren't actually communicating with each other about the project. I kept getting told it was much further along than it was, I was lied to about a hole they put in the wall (was told they didn't do it -- but I handpainted every single wall myself right before the install and there was definitely not a hole there before).
When they implied they were done installing and did not schedule any more time with me to come back, I noticed they actually hadn't finished in the bathroom because there were gaps in the flooring and it was blocking the flange (so the toilet couldn't be reinstalled!). They weren't scheduled to come back for the bathroom, they had said the install was done, and yet I then had to find these issues myself and report it to them.
Would not recommend.

James greeted us upon entering. He asked what we were looking for and provided feedback on where to look. He made himself available to answer question and did not hover. Very comfortable to deal with. No pressure. We found tile we liked and will return when it's time to move on with our project.

I hired Great Floors for labor to install new laminate over my existing laminate countertops. Project coordinator, Sam Brittain, did exactly as a project coordinator should do at the time of sale and with getting the installation team back the next day for repairs and caulking, which they declined to do on installation day. I was told by the lead installer, Nick, "We don't do caulking." That only lasted until Sam sent them back out to finish the job. I also acknowledge the excellent work of, Steve, the estimator. He was professional and clearly very knowledgeable about product and process.
Unfortunately, installation had many challenges, including communication - thank goodness for translation apps. The workers did an ok job with the actual application of laminate, but they left a mess and were not considerate of my home or furnishings. They left a lot of adhesive on the laminate that I had to clean with mineral spirits, they did not protect my new LVP flooring when cutting the laminate or applying adhesive to it, they sprayed adhesive on the counter edges and did little to protect my newly painted cabinets, they scratched the SS refrigerator and put dings in the cabinet paint. And what's quite curious is that I provided the laminate. Great Floors was only to do the installation of laminate I purchased elsewhere. After one of the installers cut the first two pieces of laminate, another installer showed up with two identical sheets of laminate. In the end, they installed the laminate they purchased and I remain with the cut-up pieces of what I purchased. No explanation was provided even when I asked. But I suspect the installer cut my laminate wrong and it couldn't be used.
These are certainly not professional standards. I would not use Great Floors again due to my poor experience with installation.

I can’t speak for the install crews, but I worked with Sam Brittain for our flooring. He found exactly what we needed, wrote multiple estimates so we could get a clear picture of the project, and he opened the warehouse after hours so we could get our flooring.
Plus, he was nice enough to help me carry the boxes of flooring across the warehouse and into my truck.
If you need flooring or someone's expertise then Sam is your man!
thanks for all the help!

DO NOT hire Great Floors! I’ve been dealing with their bad installation and lack of responsibility to correct their mistakes for several years now. After only a few months, the flooring started to separate and their first “fix” was to glue the gaps back together with super glue. Then when that failed months later, the floors were “out of warranty.” So many excuses and no resolution. So we just have to live with shoddy workmanship and look at hundreds of gaps in the flooring?! I would not wish this experience on anyone. Great Floors is the exact opposite of what a ”great” company should be.

I have hired Great Floors for years on multiple projects and they installed the flooring for my personal home. They are a fantastic company. We recently built a home dedicated to the Boise Angels charity which helps support foster kids in our community. Great Floors stepped up in big way to help us raise $49,000 for the charity. Thank you for giving back to the community.

I had great floors do flooring in my house less than a year ago. I left a review right after it was done stating how bad it was. I would just like to add to that review and explain the quality of work was so bad, his work was so bad and the amount of money I had to pay to fix what they're "installers" did to my house was ridiculous and they would not help at all. They were a nightmare to deal with. Still to this day I'm finding problems with my flooring throughout my whole entire house. Such as Holes they did not fill in the sub floor and just covered with carpet. Now when you walk you can feel random holes through the carpet! This was not a cheaphouse nor a cheaper model nor a cheap carpet or flooring we picked throughout the house. I hate my flooring so much it is not even a year old and I'm tempted to rip it out and hire a different company to redo RIGHT!! They will hire anybody with a pulse and put them in your home and their work shows that!

I just moved into a new construction home in Vancouver WA and was disappointed to see that as much as I paid for upgraded tile in my shower, Aho Construction did not offer me the option of adding a shelf on which to place a shampoo bottle or soap dish. Apparently they don't think that someone might need something so basic. Fortunately for me Jeremy at Great Floors sent tile setter Paul and his father to add the shelf. Both of these gentlemen were courteous and professional and were able to add the shelf by using leftover tile from the original shower installation. After making sure that the shelf was being placed exactly where I wanted it, they very quickly had it set in my shower. I highly recommend Great Floors to anyone in need of quality, professional tile work.

We recently had new carpet installed throughout our home, living room, hall and 3 bedrooms. We went to Great Floors and had a terrific experience. The price was very reasonable, they never made any effort to get us to raise our budget, and the job was done very quickly. The 2 installers removed the old carpet with pad and had the new carpet with pad installed within 6 hours. The very nice. We would certainly recommend them.

Wow super performance! Stopped by Michaels looking to reface our fireplace. We were greeted at the door right away and shown some products. My wife and I had done business in the PAST with Cascade but they failed repeatedly to do any follow up. Thank goodness we found Michaels. The had a better looking product. The salesman (Bill McConahy) came over the same week and sent the quote as promised. Now the job is complete and looks great. Bill squeezed us into the schedule with great communication. Great follow-up on a minor issue with our carpeting! Even though it's been two years since purchase, master installer "Ed" took one look, grabbed his tools and had everything adjusted perfectly in a matter of minutes.
It's rare to find excellent customer service these days, especially during the busy season. Michael's exceeded expectations and then some. We're very pleased!

I highly recommend working with Great Floors. My wife and I recently had many of the rooms of our house refloored, and we worked with Bron at the Vancouver Great Floors to get it done. We chose to replace a variety of floors - carpet, tile, and wood laminate - with a consistent interlocking wood. The job also involved moving some heavy furniture pieces and working with some smaller spaces, like closets and a pantry. Bron and the installers (Alex, Constantine, and team) did a fantastic job with everything. They were accommodating, professional, and highly knowledgable. Though we met with a variety of flooring companies, Bron won our business with a very thorough and detail-oriented first walk-through, asking questions and offering options that hadn't come up with any of our other prospects. I am giving four out of five stars only because there was very minor damage to one big piece of furniture that was moved, and because communication was a little tricky at a couple of points along the way. But, the overall experience was excellent, and we couldn't be happier with the end result. We would definitely use Great Floors again!

I guess I was just one of the "lucky" ones whose experience with Michaels was less than steller. I'm not going to rant so I'll just say I don't believe we were treated 100% fairly when we had to have newly laid carpet replaced because it had factory flaws. The second installation went OK but there was an opportunity for the Michaels to ensure complete customer satisfaction, but instead they decided to make us feel like we were unreasonable. We enjoyed the people, but their professionalism is lacking. We probably won't be back.

Ok selection, the showroom is kind of crowded and the showroom is hard to navigate on your own. Pricing is listed but no info provided about installation (none posted any way) I came in to look at floors to redo my whole home. The lady who greeted me seemed put out by my asking for help I said I didn't know where to start but knew I needed something pet resistant she pointed me in a direction walked me over told me vinyl would be an option but said she didn't like vinyl, she offered no assistance past that. She walked away and said I'll be over there. We were the only ones in the entire store I felt like I was bothering her by asking for help. If someone comes into a place lost but knowing they're going to be doing a large project you think the company would be eager to close the sale, instead I was ignored and left confused. I walked out 5 minutes later she asked no questions just said have a good day.... frustrating experience to say the least.

Does Great Floors offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Great Floors performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Great Floors provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Great Floors, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Great Floors in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
