I have nothing but good to say about the staff Caryn, Nicole, Justine with whom I worked to help select stone for my fireplace hearth and floor for my bathroom.
They were kind and helpful but not pushy. I’d also like to comment on Jack (I hope I remembered his name correctly) and those who cut my hearth stone. He was respectful, polite and precise when measuring and installing my hearth. It. Is. Beautiful.

Save yourself the time and trouble and just contact Caryn & Nicole. What a great team. They worked tirelessly from the beginning, to help us find the right materials for our kitchen project and the quality of their work was great. We've already recommended them to our neighbor who is beginning their own redo.

The team at Granite Tops were so easy to work with and paid attention to detail during our semi complicated remodel of our kitchen. We live in the 3rd floor of a condo so it’s wasn’t your standard redo. From estimate to selection to pricing and install Caryn and Justine were very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend them and will use again for any future projects!

Granite Tops has installed in 3 different kitchens for us over the last 15 years. Each time overall process was impressive from start to finish. Communication was excellent and the quality of the install was immaculate. Caryn, the manager, and her team were on top of organizing all the details and kept the timeline as convenient as possible for us. They went above and beyond to give us competitive prices and made sure we were happy. Can't recommend them enough!!

My experience with Blue Valley Granite was outstanding. I did not use a GC for my kitchen countertop replacement, which is not typical. The professionals at BVG took me seriously and were informative and kind as I asked many, many questions. Their showroom and warehouse staff were accommodating and when installation day came near, communication was clear.

I purchased 2 pieces of granite and 1 piece of quartz for my kitchen and two bathrooms from Granite Tops in Lenexa. From day one of choosing the stone, to the day of installation, I felt very comfortable that I was in good hands. Everyone was polite, helpful and professional. I had about a million questions about the process and what to expect and I thought they did an excellent job of explaining things. I guess I would say that they made the process easy and in the end, I am so pleased with all three stone countertops. They look amazing. There were no mistakes made. Payment was easy. There really wasn't a mess. I would use them again and I recommend them to my friends.

Granite Tops is a great company to work with from start to finish. Their products, installers, staff and ownership provide quality throughout the process. But, the customer service is also outstanding! I had an issue with my old counter top removal (installed by another company) - they installed the new counter top as it should have been installed originally and took care of any other issues that problem created. I can't say enough about their quality and service - just outstanding!!!

Granite Tops is the definition of class and professionalism. From the start they were nothing but helpful and informative. They did a wonderful job on our kitchen. 0 complaints. Robert, Caryn and the tile lady (can't remember her name) were so nice throughout the entire process. If a mistake was made it was Immediately addressed and taken care of. Also, Roberts prices blew everyone away. If I could give them 6 stars I would highly recommend them if you are thinking about getting granite countertops. GREAT JOB!!!!

This place was recommend by multiple friends that had previous good experiences, so we gave them a try when we were looking for new granite counters and kitchen back splash. In short, the establishment seems to already have enough business that they don't need to be competitive and/or responsive (i.e. waste of time).
Initial impressions were not good as we were ignored for over 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. Their back splash prices were way out of line and their granite prices were even competitive until the owner adjusted the pricing to get get within the competitive range.
The worst part was that they didn't even get all the pricing in timely fashion to us to make a final decision even after multiple requests and promises on their part to provide it by certain times. We finally gave up, which was fine as they were still significantly higher anyway just on the granite. We never did get pricing on back splash.

I was referred to Granite tops from a coworker. I called to schedule a visit/quote for my kitchen granite but did not get a return call. (that should have been my first clue). I called again and got an appointment later that week. The owner Robert came out and had a stellar first impression. Very professional, informative and spent time explaining his companies process. From there on the follow up/communication was horrible. I made several calls trying to keep the process/install dates moving. I was originally told one date and took off work to accommodate. The next thing in knew was the date was changed without notifying me. The install went well and took all 8.5 hrs. They were very precise/professional and the granite looks beautiful.
The follow thru with this company and the interest is LACKING..
I know this company is growing but they don't have the staff to keep up with this demand! If you want a company that communicates well go find another that has the personal touch.

Our experience with Granite Tops was an utter disaster. Our project began in August but was not completed until October. We went to our appointment to place the template on the slab so they would know exactly what the cut should have been.
The granite countertop was miss cut causing a seam in the installation, and a mismatch of the pattern. Also, we were told the 2 different slabs, which were of different colors, were of the same thickness, but they weren't. This caused a 1 inch gap between the granite and the cabinet which the company said they would fix, but later told us we would have to contact a cabinet maker and have it fixed ourselves. Also the contract stated that they would come out after the granite installation to measure the backsplash. This never happened. Then
the company ordered almost twice as much tile as was needed for the black splash which resulted in an overage of a box and a half. The company refused to take back the overage adding to the cost of the job considerably.
After the job was finished we went to dispute the final bill and learned only then that they had charged us for 2 complete slabs of granite (140 square feet) even though only 30 square feet had been actually installed. At the same time, they knew we were in dispute over the final charges and the company went ahead and charged our credit card without consent, which caused problems with the credit card company! We hope that by telling our story future potential customers will be extremely careful in dealing with these people!

Our experience has been a complete and utter mess! We would never have enlisted their services if we had known how completely unprofessional, unresponsive and now EVASIVE they have become in resolving their lack of workmanship.
We had to repair our hardwood floors because their installers dropped several pieces of quartzite on our floors. We had to replace the dry wall in the area around our bar where they installed quartzite. And, the quartzite countertops they installed all around the kitchen, kitchen island, bar and stove top backsplash areas are ALL permanently stained because of their faulty cutting, etching, fabrication and installation services.
They came to the house exactly twice to try to get rid of the staining via two different stain remover applications - nothing worked. They proclaimed that the stains were due to our stove top hood! Then tell us why the entire kitchen, island and bar area also have stains?!
Now they are completely uncommunicative and will not return an email. I have sent them countless pictures of the stains to no response. We have spent over $12,000.00 on our countertops and they look simply horrible. We have had independent 3rd party countertop installers come to look at GraniteTops' work and they have stated simply that it is completely unacceptable and all on them to repair/replace.
Under no circumstances whatsoever would I ever want this company coming to my house. Brutal. And, it is interesting the last review was over 14 months ago...tell you something as well. Run.

We had our Quartzite counter tops installed by Granite Tops in Dec. 2018. Upon installation there were scratches and unevenness around the edges of the sink area. At the end of the installation we were to sign a sheet stating everything was acceptable. At that time I noted the scratches and unevenness and the installers told us they just needed to be buffed out. They sent somebody back out immediately and tried to get the scratches out. After buffing and grinding they said some of the places were part of the stone itself and natural. The finish was dull and different from the rest of the finish upon completion of the buffing. I called and spoke to the manager and she told me that nothing else needed to be done, that it had been sealed prior to installation and it would be fine. Almost immediately the area around the sink started getting "ghost etch marks", strange looking tiny bubble-like stains, and liquid rings from setting glasses on the surface for just minutes. After approximately a month the surface started etching and dulling on all the counter tops and island. Again, I called Granite Tops and spoke to the owner, Robert. About a week later, he came out and checked out the surface. He tried to work on it with a chemical and after a short time stated that he had never seen anything like it and he couldn't fix it with the chemical he typically uses. He said he would do some research and speak to the warehouse the Quartzite was purchased from (Bedrock Granite in Lenexa). A couple weeks later, after a number of calls to check to see what was going on, another person from the installation dept. came out to look at it and told us the very same thing. He didn't know what to do with it and had never seen anything like it and would get with Robert and they would do some research and get back with us. Not once did anyone ever make the effort to call us back. I have continued calling and leaving messages. Each person I would reach at their showroom told me they would have someone get back with me and not one person has ever called back. I finally called Bedrock myself to see if they had any idea how to fix or resolve this issue and was told that once the product leaves their warehouse they have no responsibility for the product, that it is the responsibility of the fabricator (Granite Tops). In the meantime our counter tops have gotten worse. There are ghost etchings and bubble-like flaws everywhere. If we leave glasses on the surface for any length of time it will often leave rings. We thoroughly clean the surface every night before going to bed to make sure no residue is left overnight. I have continued to try to reach the owner and have not received a call back or an acknowledgement of any kind. It is now 8 months later and our counter tops are deteriorating and not one person deems it important enough to call us back and address this issue. Bedrock has now been sold to another company (now AG&M Architectural Granite and Marble) and they also will not return calls. Their showroom manager that I reached recently gave me the same feedback as Bedrock's manager had and that is " that once the product leaves their warehouse it is the fabricators responsibility".
I have friends that recommended Granite Tops and while originally they were fun and friendly to work with, I am seriously disappointed that we have spent thousands of dollars with them and have a counter top that looks like it is old and damaged and a company that will not respond, let alone help resolve this issue. I definitely would not recommend them and want to tell future buyers to beware!

There were chips in the granite I selected that could not be seen by the naked eye. The chips were filled with a 'filler' that erodes when you wipe off the counter-top, so the chips later became exposed due to cleaning. I exchanged emails with Granite Tops. They said they would fix the granite once I made final payment. I made the final payment. The chips have not been fixed. Beware of the fine print in the contract. They said my contract states that if you take them to court, the customer must pay all court fees.

Does Granite Tops and Quartz Center offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Granite Tops and Quartz Center performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Granite Tops and Quartz Center provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Granite Tops and Quartz Center, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Granite Tops and Quartz Center in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
