We LOVE this place! From our first visit, throughout the selection, design, and installation process, we have been treated so well. These folks are so knowledgeable, helpful, and skilled. We just had two different countertops installed this past weekend, and the crew could not have been more professional, considerate, and clean. They were also the nicest guys in the world, and the installation went very smoothly. They're superb craftsmen and perfectionists!

The experience with Granite & Marble Specialties was first rate! Mark and Steve in the office did a fabulous job working with us on our design and purchase. Javier, who came out to do our templating, did great work and answered all our questions. Finally, the installation team of Arturo & Ruben did a stellar job -extremely professional and focused on quality AND customer service. Couldn't be happier.

The installation team did an excellent job. The lead remembered the large slab on the bar. The splice wasn’t perfect, but he took the time to get it right. It would have taken a magnifying glass to see the back was slightly out. A little grinding and buffing then sealant can’t tell it was ever out. The team on my project made sure I was happy before we signed off on their work. I have used Granite and Marble Specialties before and will highly recommend their sales team as well, thanks Glenn and Steve for great communication!

Steve was fantastic at coordinating the installation—and the installation crew was efficient, skilled, and respectful of my home, ensuring that everything was installed with precision and care. The finished product exceeded my expectations and I am constantly receiving compliments on my beautiful new countertops. I highly recommend Granite & Marble Specialties to anyone in need of high-quality countertops and exceptional service.

We had a great experience from the entire team. We spoke to four other fabricators in Bellevue, Kent, Seattle area and we selected Granite & Marble, they did not disappoint. Glenn was helpful to explain all details of the different countertops and made us feel comfortable with the entire process. He was patient, communicated timely and provided advice and ideas I did not think about. Eugeniy was precise with his measurements, Adrian was professional and made the install easy. Everyone made sure we were happy with the result. Everyone who came to the house is careful and to keep things clean. The countertop project included the kitchen, powder room, hallway bathroom and we will use them again for the master bathroom. Thank you, I love how everything turned out!

We replaced decade’s old tile in our kitchen with Silestone & the results are excellent. The team at Granite & Marble Specialties was helpful in their communications & saving my install date when some red tape from the corporate box store I purchased from slowed us down. The install team did a great job. Next time I’ll come straight to their business for booking a project. I love my like new, updated kitchen which feels easier to clean, more sleek & elegant. Before & after photos- tile backsplash for a curved bar still in the works.

So happy to have found this counter top store! We had a small project, and everywhere else we went wanted us to pay for an entire slab even though we only needed a few square feet. Not only did granite & marble specialties only charge me for what I actually needed, they had a great selection and installation was included. The whole process was quick and easy and I’m very happy with how everything looks.

I cannot say enough good things about working with Granite and Marble. Literally every single person I worked with was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. At every step of planning and execution my options were well explained, they gave me great recommendations, and never felt any pressure towards one option or another. I worked with a few different members of the team at different steps, and each person somehow was incredibly kind and answered my questions. Friendly installation, no mess, beautiful final product. This was not the first company I attempted to work with, but they will certainly be the only ones I work with in the future.

We recently had GMS install some natural quartzite countertops for our kitchen remodel. Steve was our scheduler for templating and installation while Temo was our installation crew foreman. Working with both of them was a breeze and I highly recommend them for any of your countertop projects. Steve was communicative and prompt. And it was very clear Temo and his crew have loads of experience and take great pride in their work. They were extremely careful while moving and setting the countertops (not easy considering they must weigh a literal ton) and very meticulous while leveling, gluing, caulking etc. throughout the rest of the install. Our countertops look incredible and we couldn't be happier!

I went with Granite & Marble Specialties for a small stone kitchen counter and undermount sink. Smooth process from initial walk-in, to selection of remnant piece. I liked that they send someone to take measurements and verify fit. Nayyef was great to work with. Installers were efficient and professional. New counter looks amazing. Thanks!

Abysmal customer experience. Do not purchase quartzite from them. The sales person said it was low maintenance and extremely durable, second only to granite and as long as I sealed it once a year it would last a lifetime. Well surprisingly 6 months after it was installed, stains started appearing in a way that suggests soaking in from the sides as it was variable around the sink and stove but no spots from the top. I called them and after two weeks of trying to schedule and a no-call-no-show they sent someone out to inspect it. They blamed me for not stealing it every 6 months. Nowhere on any of the documentation that I received did it say I needed to seal it every 6 months. Apparently it's my fault for not being an expert. They still have not returned my calls regarding scheduling someone to get it fixed. This company is great until you actually sign a check and then they are extremely unreliable because they already got what they wanted. I will not be a repeat customer and if anybody asks I will point them to other competitors.
EDIT. They used 314P Premium Impregnator to seal it when it was installed, which i took a picture of; however, after finding the product and reading the instalation directions, it turns out the installer didn't even seal it correctly. 314P requirers two applications using a sprayer or roller. I distictly remember the installer wiping it on with a paper towel and they did not do a second coat per manufacture instructions.

Does Granite & Marble Specialties offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Granite & Marble Specialties performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Granite & Marble Specialties provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Granite & Marble Specialties, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Granite & Marble Specialties in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
