Had the best experience! Their selection of granite was well and above what I expected to choose from. They were hands-on helping me choose the right color/design for my home! My entire kitchen looks brand new, I am so happy with the results. The craftsmanship is top notch and their customer service was excellent! Going to use them again soon to do my bathrooms!

I partnered with Granite Guys on a large kitchen job. Lots of square footage, raised bar to waterfall splash, and seaming - beautiful finish out. -JO GIFFORD DESIGNS

Updating review 7/18: the work that was done was great and the kitchen looks awesome. I’m updating from 2 to 4 stars because I think the work matters more than the communication issue, and once the crew finally delivered it really did look great. Original 2* review: I really hope I can update this review to something better once my granite is actually installed, but in the meantime I can only speak to the communication (or lack thereof) that I've received from this establishment. On 5/29/24, install date of 7/12/24 was set. It was communicated then that we would be getting a new cabinet to extend our kitchen peninsula. At this time, no lead time between remeasure and install was communicated, just an "ok I've got you down." As a customer, I would expect professionals to be aware of lead time needed to accomplish install dates. If there are items that pose risk to install date, I would expect that to be communicated, e.g. if "x" isn't down by "y" time, then this will push your install date. That communication would have made a world of difference in this case. 7/9, Colleen reached out to confirm that demo was completed. It was, and we were waiting on the cabinet to be installed but had the measurements for the cabinet available. 7/9, Colleen said, "I think we were trying to squeeze too much in one week. Let me look at the schedule and get a new install date for you." Trying to squeeze too much into a single week is a scheduling error that has nothing to do with me as the customer, but impacts everything on my end (working from home, caring for an infant without a kitchen, extra costs accrued from eating out or having to order in). This is where I was first disappointed in the administrative side of this establishment. 7/10, Colleen said she was trying to switch us to 7/15 or 7/16. 7/11, Colleen said she was putting us on the schedule for 7/19 - a full week after initial install date. I responded 3 times to her via text message on 7/11 and attempted calling but got no response. Meanwhile, the folks responsible for our backsplash and other items pending completion due to needing countertop installed continue to be in flux, waiting on word from Granite Guys. 7/12, I called again and was able to get through to Colleen. I expressed the disappointment in lack of communication and Colleen apologized that I felt that way but that she felt the communication was good. I'm sure her intentions were good but apologizing that the impacted person feels a certain way and then denying the offense is not exactly an apology. 7/13, Colleen messaged and said she moved us to 7/17. We could make this work. I asked what time and she said the morning - usually 9-9:30. If this had happened, I probably wouldn't be writing this review today. Life happens and humans are humans and I try to be understanding of that. 7/17 9:30 came and passed and no one was here. I called into Granite Guys and asked when they would be showing up, and they were not tracking that they needed to be here this morning and that Colleen had not noted the time they needed to be there. This just confirmed that the communication was not "good." I, again, had to rearrange my schedule at the last minute and contact our contractors to push the timeline yet again. Reception told me that they would call the crew to get an updated ETA and then call back to inform me of the time they would show up. This also did not happen, and folks showed up to my front door while I was breastfeeding my baby and putting him to sleep. Needless to say, he missed that nap opportunity Again, another instance where Granite Guys failed to follow through on communication so I could appropriately accommodate. TLDR - Granite Guys could have communicated needed lead time between remeasure and install, they did not. Granite Guys could have been more considerate of time needed in a week to not overbook commitments and therefore miss one or more, they did not. Granite Guys could have made sure their crew knew what time they needed to come and install (as communicated to the customer), they did not.
